uhhh crack tenth class that im actually fleshing out and turning into a real characters

her name is Clifford and her class name is The Rex!!

i am now goingnto dinosaur nerd out about her under the cut

shes about 19 feet tall, which is larger than Scotty.(the biggest rex fossil found to date). theres a lot of lore she has thst is related to a tf2 world thing me and a friend are building

her legs are reinforced similarly to how Gray Mann's back was in the earlier showing of him in the comics, and her legs are reinforced like this so she could properly run (as rexes in real life were ambush predators due to them weighing so much that if they ran for more than a few seconds,their legs wouldve snapped.) The reinforcements were Engineer's idea, and Medic helped with putting them in.

to make her balanced, mercenaries do crits to her constantly, while othet rexes only do regular damage to eachother.

me and a friend also came up with the idea of petting her gives her 50 health back (she has 500 health normally, 600 overheal) but petting her takes a good minute and both the petter and clifford are stuck in place.

The new Ark animated tv show is honestly a little too scary and intense for me. This why I didn't play PvP at all.

However. I cannot turn my back on Michelle Yeoh and Madeleine Madden kicking ass so I half watch while chanting "kill him kill him do it" and half can't watch.

day of dragons is finally coming out of beta this saturday after many many years. i've been extremely lucky enough to have been part of their journey for the vast majority of that time. not quite part of their team, but the team that supports them in the background that few people know or care about. it's cool tho. i get an exclusive glimpse into this stuff and get to laugh off all the people who spin conspiracy theories and try to write off the entire game just because of some bad behavior and utter ignorance about how the gaming industry works at all.

it's been a hell of a journey for them, and for us on our side of things too. our little company would not be in such a pivotal position right now about to change how things are done in the dedicated server world if we hadn't taken the risk and partnered up with this little indie game studio.

i won't sit here and say that all of the criticism is undeserved - some of it absolutely is. some of it i agree with. but the vast majority of it is just a load of ignorant horseshit at the end of the day and i'm incredibly proud of what beawesome has accomplished. they're about to push out a game that AAA and even AA studios wouldn't even have half finished in this same amount of time.

i've been lucky to have an advanced testing branch to play on for the past couple of days and it's absolutely stunning. it's the game i dreamed to be able to play five years ago, the kind of game i thought would be impossible 20 years ago. and yeah, it still has its flaws but honestly what game doesn't? it'll only continue to get better and better now.

anyway i'm just super excited and i can't wait to play the full release with everyone on saturday ^^
