In the weeks following their mission on Ryloth, Waxer tries not to mope. It was a good mission; they routed the Seppies, they freed the Twi-leks. He even made a friend.

Numa. He knows she is safe, with her uncle and community, but he wishes he didn’t have to say goodbye.

“Here.” Boil shoves something into his hands. “Add a touch of our gold, and it should be the right colour.”

Waxer looks at the small pot of green paint.

“How…? Why…”

Boil shrugs and looks away.

“Cashed in a favour. You’re not the only one who misses her, y'know.”

Consider, when clones paint their buckets they tape over the visors so they don’t get the paint on them.

Also consider some clones forget to take the tape off again and end up being confused as to why they can’t see.

Comet has done this. Artem has done this. Cody has but won’t admit it ever. Dogma did once but Tup was the only one who saw. Boil laughed himself sick when Waxer did it. Hardcase refused to admit he’d done it and walked into a door, Kix refused to treat him.

some pet portraits from 2021 that i dont think i posted, on the left is Angus and on the right is Momma Mora (Angus’ mom). they were 2 out of 5 pet portraits i did for a lovely client. she has 4 rescue kitties and one dog and we came up with outfits to match their personalities. challenging but fun !!

#momma mora is prob my favourite out of the 5 #the owner rescued them both and said Mora was very shy #so i tried to show that with the reserved outfit #whereas angus was described as crazy and adventurous so he got a little solider outfit #are knights soliders?? idk #painting the armour was SO cool. i love painting shiny stuff #i dont really understand how armour works so dont call me out #i dont normally draw/paint outfits so it was difficult but rewarding #she also provided incredibly high quality reference photos of them which was a godsend #pet portraits #cats #catblr #cat art #cat painting #art #artists on tumblr #traditional #acrylic painting

Elder Scrolls: Possible portrait of Akaviri Potentate.

The tradition of depicting tsaesci in a thoroughly anthropomorphic fashion, may actually predate the "damnatio memoriae" issued against this race (once proudly prolific in all the upper echelons of imperial society) in the aftermath of dissolution of Akaviri Empire. One, after all, understands the need to assuage the apprehension of the populace being governed by creatures the sources describe as towering, eel-like and vampiric. And given the texts (having gone through stringent censorship) have been allowed but a momentary candor to suggest decidedly serpentine features of Akaviri Potentates—we should deny ourselves the comfort of this "conventionally monstrous" interpretation. I for one am not prepared to dismiss the notion of them having four arms, especially in relation to a passage lauding Savirien Chorak's ambidextrous wielding of swords. Another remarkable feature of this painting (besides its faithful depiction of imperial scale-mail armour) is that the mask looks almost identical to another famous artifact—The Battle Mask of Almalexia—which itself perhaps been made in commemoration of sinking of Tsaesci fleet at Bal Foyen.
