Hello everyone, Remember the Hey Arnold Halloween episode? When the residents of Hillwood chased Helga and her fiends for thinking they were real Aliens. Well now is payback time for them and this time Arnold and Gerald decided to joint them in having everyone thinking they are REAL aliens 😂🎃 Helga is enjoying her revenge, as well as her friends.

This art collab is dedicated to that episode and to @craigbartlett for bringing those characters to life for us to enjoy forever in our hearts.

Day 8 - Creator's Choice!!

I admit, I had a heck of a time choosing what I wanted the last picture to be. I'm not the best at coming up with things on the fly sometimes, but I thought that I should finally announce properly that I'm working on a fanfic based off of this prompt I got off tumblr with a title picture I decided to finally draw! (Which, funnily enough, is my working title. Seriously: "Hey Arnold! Fanfic From This Prompt I Got Off Of Tumblr" is the first thing in my doc file.)

Essentially, it's an AU where Helga and Curly become closer friends and all the hijinks that ensue with that. They do NOT become a couple, but they do help bring out the best in each other and help the other with the affections of their crushes, Rhonda and Arnold (who are now noticing Curly and Helga because the two have pranked [most of] PS118 into thinking they're dating).

I don't have many chapters pre-written, I'm unsure where to publish them, and I don't even have a title. But I'm having so much fun writing about these goobers that I feel as though I should publish it on one of the many sites soon... As soon as I have a title! If you have an idea for a title, comment an idea and maybe I'll use it! (And thank you, of course.)

But with that, I have successfully made it through an entire Shortaki Week! On time! It's been an absolutely amazing ride and I enjoyed every moment! Thank you to my new fans! Thank you for all your lovely comments! Thank you other artists who participated! Thank you to Craig who was so awesome to 'like' two of my pictures (at time of writing)! Thank YOU reading this! I had an absolute blast making all this art and I hope to make a lot more soon! Thank you all again!

Shortaki week 4: City (Ciudad)

No, no me olvidé del reto, pero este fondo me consumió más de lo que hubiera esperado XD

Me encanta la idea de Arnold y Helga que como pareja finalmente tiene una relación cordial, divertida y amistosa.

So, el fondo es un remake de un paisaje de la serie, y de verdad que pedazo de arte que eran los fondos de HA, que casi me quedo ciega y manca con los detalles.

Day Seven - Vow / Heartbeat / Waterfall

Alright, I couldn't help myself. I had to do the two of them getting married in San Lorenzo. I chose to interpret the Green Eyes amulets as not only gratitude for saving their people, but also a symbol and acknowledgement of the wearers being soulmates. Whatever status of companionship. Joining them in heartbeat and seeing eye-to-eye.

Initially, though, I feel like they got wedded traditionally in a Hillwood church (like they both dreamed) with friends and family. But they also decided they wanted to be wed by the green eyes as well, since I head-canon Arnold would have spent his high-school and/or college days with his parents in San Lorenzo.

The three have grown up since TJM, of course, so I feel like it would mean the world if the princess-now-probably-queen wedded the two in person to a recluse audience after the traditional one. Kind of like a blessed send-off for the Volcano Boy and the Golden Corazon Girl. (And maybe a chicken wedding gift? For a future son?)

I actually made a small reference of this in the previous post! Look closer at the pictures on Helga's corkboard right near Olga's marriage picture and you'll see something similar to this pose, but in the Jungle Movie outfits. This picture is clearly more thought out than the little reference I made then, but I thought it'd be a cute little callback~ I really loved making this special moment between the two.

I really hope you liked this, I do have something planned for Day Eight, but I have thoroughly enjoyed every single moment this week! Thank you to everyone who has liked my stuff enough to engage with it. I am so elated that this week this year has been so successful and it's all thanks to you guys~ Last day tomorrow! The Jungle Movie ¿Paraíso o Promesa vacía?

Después de años AÑOS esperando la tan mentada película, hemos sido recompensados. 

¿Sin embargo esta espera ha sido realmente la isla paradisiáca prometida? Hay cosas que amé y cosas que no tanto. Capaz me haré un vídeo review para el canal. Porque hay mucho que quiero hablar. 

¿Lo que amé?

Algunas de las cosas que más adoré fueron los múltiples guiños a la serie y las aventuras de la pandilla en 4to grado. 

Arnold Shortman.

Después de años de incertidumbre y solo la voz de Craig para saber el apellido el chico, por fin lo tenemos confirmado ¡Sí es Shortman! 

Gerald & Helga 

Después de años llevándose como gato y perro, Craig transforma esta relación en una mucho más genial. Con un Gerald que claramente sabe lo que la rubia siente por su Best Friend, y que además se atreve a llamarla Creepy stalker, se unen para ver feliz a un chico que ambos aman. Joder, fue hermoso. 

Braini 

Lo amé. Punto. Es el puto amo. Jajaja 

Helga. 

Es que de ella no se dice más. Es genial, super genial como siempre. Bien respetada como personaje entre su mezcla de altruismo y egoísmo, o codicia personal. Su rudeza, sus momentos de chica enamorada que contrastan como perfecta noche al día. Ella siempre fue lo mejor de la serie y en la película me lo vuelve a confirmar. 

Además de que respetaron cada personalidad y eso se agradece. Los abuelos como siempre inmejorables. 

Lo que no me gustó

Sobra decir que es una película infantil y que cuando la has esperado 17 años de tu vida, es más que obvio que sientas que algunas cosas no encajan, que haya vacíos argumentales y de guión muy obvios. 

Aunque que de todo lo malo, lo que menos soporté fue la forma en que trataron la relación de Helga y Arnold. 

Amé el final, no lo malinterpretes. Pero si han pasado 2 años desde la serie y la confesión “desmentida” de la primera película, me parece inconcebible que Arnold no haya intentado ver a Helga de otra manera, por lo menos que dentro suyo pudiese pensar de manera más positiva sobre la rubia. Porque que todo su “florecimiento” de sentimientos se de en esta hora me parece apresurado y no bien desarrollado. 

Tomando en cuenta que Helga se vuelve a confesar en un arrebato poco “creíble” & que él reacciona como si fuese la primera vez que lo escucha. Si ahí me hubieran mostrado otra reacción del chico yo hubiese quedado satisfecha, pero no. Mierda. 

Me haré un video, está decidido. Porque hay mucho que hablar. 

Porque no me pongo exigente y los amo a todos le doy un 8.5 / 10
