#aro headcanons
(1/2) I have this headcanon that Veela characteristics are always present in full-blooded Veelas, but for folk that are mixed-Veela, it acts more like a recessive gene. They mixed-Veela either can't draw up any of the Veela characteristics but carry the gene to pass onto their children or present fully as Veela do. I headcanon that Fleur's Veelaness is recessive but Gabi's is dominant, and Fleur's only kid who got dominant Veela genes is Dominique, who's also the only one who went to Beaxbatons.

While all the Weasley-Delacour clan is queer, including their parents, Dominique is also the only one who’s aspec (grayro and demiace), and she often feels very lonely and unable to be understood in her family, though they love and completely support and respect her. She ends up being very close with her Aunt Gabi, who’s also Veela and aspec (aro and acespike) and Unty Charlie (agender aroace), so much so she often spends half of all her summers with Gabi & follows Charlie into dragonology. Demi headcanon because I’m a sucker for demi headcanons

Lucifer Morningstar on Lucifer as a demiromantic pansexual

Canonical Proof: despite the fact that Lucifer is several thousands of years old and been in numerous sexual relations with both men and women since the beginning of time, his first love is Chloe Decker, one of the first humans he got to know on a deep level

“I could fall in love with you, you know.” -L, after being kissed on the cheek

So I finally got around to watching Death Note, and I usually headcanon all my faves as arospec anyway, but after that line I now headcanon L as recipromantic. I’ve also seen a lot of people view him as neurodivergent, so I added arovague and nebularomantic flags too.

[ID: 5 icons of L from Death Note on aromantic, recip-, recipromantic, arovague, and nebularomantic flags. END ID]

Aromantic Natasha Romanoff is a headcanon very near and dear to my heart. I still like to pretend that the romantic subplot of AoU didn’t happen, although tbh romance repulsion was not the ONLY reason I disliked it. Fortunately, I remembered to post these just in time for the end of Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week 2020, and I hope some of y’all enjoy them. :)

Arospec Fanworks Week Day 4: Other labels/Microlabels

Sydney Barrett from Legion (recipromantic and touch-averse allosexual)

She had such a complex and relatable relationship with romantic love and I ended up getting a lot of arospec vibes from her.

1/2 Ron doesn't know why this makes him so nervous and afraid. Bill's genderfluid&bi, Charlie's gay&ace, Percy's trans, George' aro, Fred's questioning, and Ginny is queer (trans and mspec). Even dad's realized he's demia and mum a demiwitch. But being agender and grayro and bi and saying that out loud... terrifies Ron. No one's coming out ever went bad, but Ron's brain is acting like a jerk and telling him he'll be different. He comes out to Harry (graygender and quoi) Hermione (aroflux and bi)

first, and he feels bad that it seems easier to come out to them, but they’re so great and supportive and loving, and they promise to be there for him when he comes out to the Weasley Clan - which can be whenever he wants and whenever he is ready to do so. It helps. Ron doesn’t ask them to be there when he comes out to his family the week after. They are, of course, amazing about it, and mum throws a huge party with too much food to celebrate them all, and Ron’s brain finally calms down.
