rewatching the infamous archivists loredump stream (Oct 11) and got to the part where phil is like "oh yeah another bombshell: bagi said she grew up on the island and she has a brother" and cellbit of course responds "oh yeah maybe hes on the island too maybe hes frozen somewhere" and you can SEE phils face as he tries so so SO hard not to go ooc and joke about it because like. ccphil knows. cccellbit knows. ccphil knows that cccellbit knows. but their cubitos do NOT know, and it's killing him.
above: the face of a man who is keeping his rp points, goddamnit. (he almost cracks when cellbit mentions logging the information "in his head" (ooc: discord, according to ccphil))

does mrs. columbo have a first name?
hi!!!! yes and no!!
mrs columbo’s first name was never said outright in the show (the same for columbo’s first name), buuuut peter falk did do a celebrity roast for frank sinatra in 1978!
during the roast, he plays as columbo ofc and asks for mr Sinatra’s autograph, asking him to make it out to the missus, before calling her rose!!!
honestly coming from Peter falk himself, i take it as word of god, rose Columbo just sounds so cute and fitting. also Columbo has mentioned her sisters before in the show, being called Ruth and Rita so it just truly fits!!
also i know u didn’t ask about Columbo but we see his first name revealed a couple times even if it’s never said outloud..
Frank columbo….. Frank and rose…. Frankie and rosie if u will…. they are The Italian middle-aged couple Ever

TG: look all i'm saying is if mussolini was a thick milf we would've thought about it a few more minutes before pissing on his corpse and hanging him
TT: How did they piss on his corpse before hanging him?
EB: if mussolini was a thick milf she wouldn't have been elected to office.
GG: maybe they just hung the corpse!

Not to BPD-haver Siffrin post again but I'm so fucking right. He has autism and adhd and is incredibly system-coded so I think I should be allowed to give him another mental disorder (silly). Anyways his favorite people are his found family and if you don't believe me then play the game again 👍

After many rewatches I truly cannot tell if this is what's happening or not but there is such an odd, brief zoom in to Dan after the hung like a horse card where he kind of looks like he's looking over at Phil's lap and it's haunting me.

Hrmm... Revising my game and I feel like there's still sooo much writing left to do, for something that probably won't even amount to much, so.. I do want to narrow my focus more (especially given my health problems seeming to get worse/less energy the past few years), but I'm not sure how would be best to...
I currently have 5 characters as the Main ones with full planned questlines and such, with each character having 6 quests you can do for them. But I haven't really started the writing for the 5th main character.
So then I was thinking, if I were going to write 6 full quests worth of content anyway... is it better to allocate that time on just doing a Complete 6 Quests for ONE single character, OR would it be better to do something like.. choose THREE side characters and do 2 quests for each of them? So that people have a wider variety to interact with and sort of sample around (of course with the idea that, once the first version of the game is released, IF people actually care about it enough to make it worth the effort, I would then add additional content to complete those 3 characters stories as well)
-
SO... If you were playing an interactive fiction sort of game centered around talking to & doing quests for a cast of characters (like there's no larger plot, more it's just about interacting with people, every character kind of has a self contained story, the focus is just learning about them and the world and exploring the area) --- Which would you rather have?
(and of course it would be stated up front which characters have only partial questlines, so people don't expect them to have full quests like the others and then get disappointed, or etc. etc.)
Basically, is it better to just focus in specifically on having one fully complete questline? Or for there to be a few stories that are not complete yet, but have more initial options available?
