I had cousins over for the 4th of July, and their kids were wearing dinosaur shirts so I started to talk with them about dinosaurs (bc I’ve got a big fossil collection and know a lot and want to get the kids interested in science). …And my cousins immediately go in on how they just went to the creation museum and absolutely loved the dinosaur murals there, how realistic and interesting! (They’re really strict southern baptists). I wanted to cry lol

Villain kicked down the door to Hero's (not so secret) hideout, lazer ray drawn and ready. It was one thing to be a pain in the ass but it was another to just not show up to the bank robbery they've been planning for weeks. It was extremely rude and unprofessional of Hero! Villain took it as an excuse to take the fight to Hero's base.

However, they were a bit surprised to see a messy looking Hero wrapped up in blankets and watching 90's cartoons.

Hero pouted at the sudden interruption before lazily putting their bowl of cereal to the side and pulling the blanket over their head.

"Really! Not even a hello!? You should be groveling and begging for my forgiveness! You-" Villain was cut off by a throw pillow hitting them in the face. They didn't know if they should laugh at the sheer absurdity or burn everything to the ground. They settled on looking shocked and annoyed at Hero.

"Leave me alone. I can't deal with your theatrics. This isn't a good day." Hero buried themselves into the couch, accidentally knocking the cereal on themselves. Villain expected them to jump up and try to clean up but they adamantly stayed.

"Dude, what's up with you? You're never like this. And how old was that cereal?" Villain asked figuring that Hero was likely poking at it for the past few hours.

Hero shuffled, finally poking their face out from under the covers. Villain cursed themselves for not noticing the dark circles under Hero's eyes and just how frail they looked.

"I just need a pick-me-up. That's all. I'll be better tomorrow."

"I'm not taking that as an answer. Get up and hop in the shower. I'll clean up this mess and order dinner."

"But it's 8am?"

"No, it's 8pm dumbass. Now go take care of yourself before I have to."

Ames and this image belongs to @donkeybro and they have given me permission to post/use my version of Ames in roleplays.

She's fairly similar to Ames, but there are some noticeable differences.

Her full name is Amarantha Beauchamp, but she prefers to go by Amy.

Her parents died in an arson fire and she was raised by her cruel, lazy aunt. Her aunt was neglectful and verbally abusive, making her feel unwanted and insignificant. After a while, she finally ran away from home with all of her plushies. She arrived at a decent, yet unknown orphanage and all of the adults welcomed her with open arms. Most of the kids are either overtly rude or quietly ignorant of her presence. She managed to make a friend at the orphanage, but it was short-lived when this friend was adopted. She's shy due to her trust issues, fear of ridicule, and inferiority complex. She's prone to sudden angry outbursts, but she tries her best to keep all of the values that her parents taught her in mind (such as patience, honesty, humility, and love). She views her plushies as her real and imaginative family. She has full-blown psychic abilities—possessing all of Ames' powers—that can make her plushies realistic and give them certain random properties (e.g. make them induce golden luck). She can also use her plushies as a protective shield and predict the future. She treats her plushies with respect and kindness, ensuring that they're safe from harm and repairing them when needed.

She has short, curly red brown hair, brownish freckles, and stunning cerulean eyes. In order to hide the scraps on her feet, she wears cute socks. It's her way of forgetting the past and moving on with her life. Lastly, she dons jean shorts or jorts because she likes the texture and hue of them.

The Beginning

Riley sits at a park bench in the early morning, watching the sunrise glow magnificent reds and oranges and yellows as it appears on the horizon. His tired eyes reflect this gorgeous light, making it appear that fire is dancing in his eyes.

Well, fire is always on his mind, so it's appropriate it's filling his face.

He's wearing a long, dirty, light brown coat that he found in an alley, barely covering the orange jumpsuit underneath, the numbers '3153' blazed across his heart on the fabric. Riley rubs his face, feeling the stubble which has started to grow on his cheeks in the few days since the riot in the prison happened, with an inmate by the name of Bailey (someone he considered a brother) shooting The Warden and threatening the other guards, allowing a majority of the inmates to escape.

So now here he is, free after years of isolation and abuse at the hands of The Warden, a fugitive from the law. And he still feels like burning down more places; that itch hasn't been scratched.

Riley sighs, exhausted
