Art Hell: A Curse'd Paladin

TA DA! It's my Pathfinder pally lad, Vesper Orlovsky.

Who is definitely not cursed, it's only a cool knife that sometimes talks to him and tells him "don't you hate being nice? Don't you want to go ape shit?" on occasion.

It's also way too thirsty and steals his kills sometimes. But that's normal, I swear.

He also recently became basically half-Night Lord as of last session, where upon atoning after breaking his oaths, one of his eyes turned black. Also, he legit uses intimidation and fear as his main method of combat. He doesn't flay people, but given how he failed a Will save and absolutely deleted a poor kobold, that's probably coming soon.

And he's also a dhampir for reasons completely unrelated to the knife, he was born stillborn and his mum did a ritual to bring him back and he came back Wrong(tm), and now his psychopomp doesn't exist. So Pharasma is going to gank him at some point.

I'm proud of this piece, definitely an improvement over the original portrait I did when the lad was level 2.

So the animation portion is finally done, I took a little break because I had a lil burn out but it is alright vuv it's finally done.

There was an issue that didn't allow me to work an entire day, from the times shown above on the. I had to wait until friggn 4 am when I went to bed, to 1 am the next day for it to fix itself.

Ibspaint unfortunately has this thing where duplicating it also duplicates the time, so if it corrupts (which it does frequently) then it replays it to fix the problem, id duplicate the artwork but in clicking duplicate it does it with the time too. So I had to save every individual layer after numbering them (it was exactly 104), then put them over on a new canvas, only to then have to cover said numbers up one at a time by using lasso on a pic that didnt have numbers, to.copy and paste that portion over each one.

Ibspaint please fix the time stuff I'm dying over here

I recently started using my old pen tablet again. Switching from my lovely iPad is a pain in the a- especially with my favourite brushes no where to be seen on the net,,, I try to use photoshop but I can’t get the opacity and texture thing work for me on the app???

Cute right?

Textured shadows, soft skin, huge contrasts when lightning.

Most of them is just random BULLSHIT GO!

but I do understand the structure even in the most chaotic sketches. However the art style in pen tablet medium is still on fetus stage like-

Texture is non existent, Color theory left to buy milk and opacity in the brushes I try to use make the image kinda messy and mouldy. Does anyone know how I could change this ⬆️ to look a bit more like my actual style???
