Plaid Royal Family : the hell that I am willing to walk on simply because I "love" them

I love them as characters, everyone in the whole family that become embodiment of CPC lesson "everyone has two masks, but what if situation make them to suddenly mix those two masks?) - which make each of them very complicated

Call out (sorry for the ping there!) for all active CPC BLR that I know talk about them often, be it altogether or separately. All of your opinion are beautiful! And very interesting!! But that could happen when it's on absolute crash difference?

The dynamic on this whole family is IMHO so interesting as down to earth to could happen to anyone (especially to the ones that realize they are in the abnormal family - the overexposed - the domestic violence abused one) as seen from the perspective of the CPC's deuteragonist which Frederick. So if ever want to talk about each of the family member (Blaine, Lance, Isolde, Leland) - you can't leave Frederick from that because he's the key 🔑of narrative about his own family which ruling the Plaid Kingdom as one of major kingdom in the story. In nutshell, Frederick is the perfect narrator from the story with his words are quite poetic (due to his love for the books) yet also brutally honest (because his sassy judgemental personality - his defense mechanism about interacting with anyone on social level which at ep 145 we learnt that come from her mother). This make him the perfect example of reliable narrator because his POV are all truths no matter sickening or ugly it's seem - contrast to other characters that might narrate with lie, sugar coating unhonesty, or fake belief "everything is fine" (There's many in CPC, I don't need to mention them because imho it's clear)

Unfortunately, he's also blindfolded narrator in the way of "ignorance is a bliss" which affecting the reader too - until things down horribly at ep 132 which confirming him about so many things

LambCat is such amazing writer to making CPC that I dubbed as masterpiece in the way of making well of foreshadowing and stuffs. In the way of Frederick pseudo curse "the revealator" in the way if you reread - he's walking spoiler with anything he says throughout the series (example: screaming to be locked away at ep 107 > totally locked for weeks right after the gala, Nell as seer totally bewildered if realizing these coincidence)

Now, THIS the hard part for me as the wiki editor with the harsh reality that CPC likely gonna be daily pass so no screenshot images anymore

I truly need help from anyone and wherever I could get to formulate wiki worthy content that fair, objective as try to not be subjective as much possible (so, like admitting any mistakes or sins or even kindness that shown on the CPC story) in the way as exactly the Plaid Royal Family are.. And that's job that I know I am too overwhelmed as can't do alone - I am rereading CPC daily, as well as looking at CPC BLR but I feel to not getting as much as the truths. The truths that needed urgently as the character page of Plaid Royal Family is in constant changes with each of CPC episode come out to break or to enforce or anything about the Plaid Royal Family personality, history, and interactions. The scream of help by Mocha of CPC wiki admin - we're lack about that stuffs and I see you guys passionately talked about that.. So why don't you guys join the wiki editor lives of the CPC and make difference? The much needed difference as CPC ends soon - as LambCat says that she like to ends CPC at episode 169. Or if you can't help directly to wiki, I am very appreciated you guys communicate with me on any way (reblogs at CPC BLR or commentary, hit me at discord etc)

P.S conclusion - the dual mask of the Plaids:

Black: Leland - public's mask is very strict father that wants all his sons to marry all his BFF's girls VS he's the ultimate villain on the story with list of his crimes keep piling up as revealation of many things thay related to "marriage plan"

White: Isolde "Izzy" - Public's mask is the ice queen that disdain over the arranged marriages of Pastel-Plaid that even 'bully' Maria so she won't get closer with Blaine VS the reality that she's red herring of everything, as she just an abused wife as well as can't do normal mother

Red: Blaine - his name meaning actually yellow btw - "Perfect Plaid Prince Charming" which so charismatic that he had fan club and likely could do anything although in piano duel he's 2nd VS very damaged eldest child with severe trauma of golden child syndrome.. He literally make any of his therapist, need another therapist immediately

Blue: Lance - goofy middle child that very kind and casual to have military buddies that loyal to him while also dense about Suzie's crush to him while he smitten to Lorena as his fiancee VS the perfect example of middle child syndrome that leads on with false idea that what he need to do is supports his kingdom as make Leland's plan to becomes reality OR else his powerful pops will do any horrible things to everyone especially Lorena

Green: Frederick - the most complex character in the CPC imho as I am not gonna lie with I am getting more confused the more I learn about him but on personality he has vulnerable self which is his inner child and that's not a mask. He the only one in CPC that had 3 masks imho

First mask: judgemental icy and sassy prince but still keep his politeness as much as possible - happened from the beginning until balcony arc

Second mask: blushing and pining era as he realizes that angel of the fortune is real in the way of his fiancee Gwen, 'an entity' that helps his unlucky streaks to becomes less as he interact with other people that make him realize that he grows feeling to Gwen while in confusion if he could do that because he feels undeserved

Third mask: post-imprisonment era, the current era. So many dark elements that revealed to be canon, but in nutshell it's the result of his own self-hate and inferiority complex that make him worthless - the only thing that keep him doing :

- since its relevant, if a post is very long use one of those things ^ so that its more comfortable for people scrolling! its the one on the right below. theres no character limit on here so please use this when necessary lol

- reblogging stuff you like is important, especially art and writing! thats really the only way to push content on here and the like to rb ratio on mcytblr tends to be terrible so its very appreciated. if you REALLY like it you can leave nice comments in the reply section or in the tags as well! people appreciate them a lot :] if you want to rb something but dont want it appearing on your blog right now, theres a little arrow next to the post button and if you click on it, you’ll get the option to queue the post, meaning it appears on your blog later (you can adjust exactly when in the queue settings, found under the little profile icon)

- you can choose how private you want to be. ive seen so many people be like “dont say your name. dont say your age. dont make an intro post.” or “put your entire medical history in your carrd” but i feel like you can choose how you want to present yourself on here! you dont have to say anything about yourself if you want, or you can make a fun intro post/carrd with the things you like, or you can just say your name (or moniker), whether youre a minor or not, and pronouns, or anything else! its up to you, and here you dont really have to worry about getting doxxed so. obviously dont give out your address or anything but yeah :]

- ^kind of going off what i just said, if you want friends on here, you can make an intro/looking for mutuals post and put your interests in the tag section! thats how i found lots of my mutuals. honestly just use the tags in general, because its the only way to get your posts out there other than rbs and its much better than speaking into the void. dont put tags unrelated to the post itself though, people dont really like it. tumblr prioritizes the first 5 tags on a post ive heard, so be mindful of that, especially if youre an artist or writer!

- on the subject of tags, if youre going to critique a dsmp character, feel free to do so, just tag it appropriately! for example, if youre making a post that criticizes c!philza, tag it as #c!philza critical. also, please dont tag dsmp/mcyt posts as mine//craft or mine//blr (censoring it so it doesnt appear in the search), people who just want to hear about the game dont appreciate it. also, please dont tag or1gin smp (censoring again) for posts about the hybrid smp with tommy, ranboo, tubbo, etc because an active fandom already uses that tag, use osmp instead :]

- discourse isnt really common on here, but if youre going to talk about it, tag it as #discourse so that people can blacklist it. oh yeah i forgot to talk about that, you can blacklist tags in settings, which is great for triggers or anything you just dont want to see. id suggest blacklisting all forms of whatever the tag is (for example, dont just blacklist #tw gore, blacklist #gore tw, #gore cw, #cw gore, and #gore as well). lots of blogs (like mine) operate on an ask to tag basis, meaning that if you send them an ask asking to tag a specific thing, they will!

- speaking of asks, people love them! ive never met someone who doesnt like getting an ask, regardless of how random it is. if you like someones content or want to be their friend, feel free to send an ask, anonymous or not! i think this goes without saying but just in case, sending anon hate is heavily frowned upon, its kind of a pussy move as well tbh so dont do it

- other than the occasional weirdo mcytblr/dsmpblr is pretty chill, so try not to start fights in main tags for no reason lol please i dont want to have to migrate to linkedin or some shit. if you see something you dont like, the best move is to just block them and move on. literally just block anyone you dont like itll make everything so much more pleasant i promise. however if you do want to start a fight my asks are always open <3333

The Australian high school system is standardized to give each student a ranking from 0 to 99.95 at the end of their high school education. The way that this score is determined depends on the state, but typically involves 1-2 years of focused curriculum in 4-6 subjects. It culminates in a series of fairly difficult exams, and uses 'sac' (school assessed coursework) grades to determine a score, which is then applied to a bell curve. I'm happy to do a q and a on this if anyone is interested!

1. What’s your ideal novel?

Romance novel about cottagecore lesbian witches with a cool familiar who have to travel through the fae realm to stop the fae world and the real world from being merged into one. Also no one dies and the lesbians are happy

2. If you could learn any trade/skill in the world, what would it be and why?

Ooo there are many I would like to do but I think I would really like to be able to master some kind of craft involving creating something with your hands? Like from jewlery making, pottery, sewing, or painting? That’s super broad oops

3. If you could take any person from history or literature on a date, who would it be? What would your date be like?

Sappho get ready we’re going on a romantic date and I’ll bring you flowers

4. What’s your favorite dessert?

Apple pie!

5. Is there anything you regret? If you could go back in time and stop yourself or change the thing, would you?

I think that I would halt myself from ever trying to pretend to be someone who I’m not? If I had the chance to go back in time and tell myself that I’m capable and valued just the way I am and not to be frightened of what other people may perceive of me. Also I would tell myself to be kind and open minded. Also just give myself the heads up that I’m queer.

6. Do you like playing video games? If so, which games are your favorites?

I’m not a big gamer, but I LOVE playing them! Right now, I’ve been playing Dragon Age Inquisition, and I’ve been playing a lot of Stardew Valley recently! Life is Strange and the Uncharted series will always have a special place in my heart though

Animals! I don’t think I want to know what people think tbh. that sounds super stressful

GwenDerick/FredDolyn Hogwarts AU

Their houses color (as Ravenclaw: blue & Hufflepuff: yellow) if mixed will become their color motif : green

Hence why I am coloring the background (probably not that clear in the photo IG?) with CPC X Hogwarts AU color theory : the wittiness of Blue's Ravenclaw from Frederick and the kindness of Yellow's Gwendolyn - make birth of Green if mixed together, their color motif in CPC - hence heart <3

Time spent to drawing and coloring? so long lmao I am indeed a rusty artist - and yeah art-blocker ~ thou I am enjoyed the sufferings of drawing Frederick's hair, coloring Gwen's soft green hair, and drawing their respectful insignia of their Hogwart Houses (a badger like a possum imho)

Frederick being a Ravenclaw (due to bookworm he is) & Gwendolyn being a Hufflepuff (the kindest soul fits here) is based from this HC CPC BLR post as the following :

--------------------------------------------------------------------- This part skippable, I just want to expand the lore of CPC in Hogwarts AU with the following of my headcannons - comes from me being a Potterhead and playing the game "Hogwarts Mystery" - hence the example: the mention of 'frog choir' as music extracullilcular for the example. So, some of the HCs are differentiates with Cookie's HC and I am lessening everyone's age so they're could all in Hogwarts = I am not following their canon ages told by LambCat and CPC ) :

All Pastel siblings (Maria/6th year and the diva of the frog choir's club with her muses are ; Celestina Warbeck and Bozart/Schozart), Lorena/5th year and the Quidditch's star playing the role of Chaser, Jamie and Gwen/4th year - Jamie's the best friend of house elves and since he enrolled the feast's quality greatly improved & Gwen's helped her twin with best subject is Potions-her kindness able to even softens Snape's rock-hard's heart) are Hufflepuff

Yet the Plaid brothers are in different houses, Frederick Ravenclaw (4th year, his best subject is History of Magic, the underdog of top student that not expected to excels at the class that literally a 'sleep-fest') - Lance Gryffindor (6th year, have miracles of could passed OWL to NEWT class and overall is described nicely by Aqua in here) - Blaine Slyterin (7th year, kinda bitter that he's not becoming the head boy even thou he's "know-it-all, could-do-all" perfect. Excels in all classes except Divination - by having Outstandings score)

Prez (Calpernia) is the head girl, while Whitney is the head boy - 7th year and final year at Hogwarts they are - they're have "mysterious strained" past but now working on it. They're as Cookie's HC, both from Ravenclaw. For Curtis-Ravenclaw, somehow I feel he actually lotta older than them, so I placed him as the assistant professor of DADA (as the one that holding the syllabus lectures, so the things that will taught kinda structured) - dw he'll never get the curse/jinx of 'No DADA teacher can lasts more than a year' because he's not teaches it. Asa could becomes the healer's assistant for madam Pomfrey - but I am not sure as student (so being 7th year) or already graduating. Miss Agatha feels to have similar vibes with Prof. McGonagall, while Molly is to madam Hooch with her agility - but I just don't know if they're in the time of Hogwarts studies (September - June) or not.

The parents which have history in the following houses: Leland Slyterin, Izzy Ravenclaw, Jack Gryffindor and Lilyth Hufflepuff) - and we have more characters in the AU!!

Monika - IMHO it will be interesting if she's in Gryffindor - as what she wants is to be braver (like Ben Copper in Hogwarts Mystery game, he's a coward but learnt to be braver)

Beckett and Bernadette will be in Hufflepuff

Orson in Ravenclaw Idk other Princels thou prob in Slyterin (interesting dynamic hating Blaine in same house ngl)

So in Summary, My HC's of Hogwart Houses as following :

[number]= the year they're are, is not following canon and basically I make the ones at twenties in 7th year >/\<

So many CPC characters fits in Hufflepuff IMHO, yay for them being so pure kind-hearted sweet people !! ^^

Pairing: Obi Wan x OC

Genres:  Sweet Romance with action-adventure. (Think Indian Jones meet’s a Nicholas Sparks novel) 

Summary: Anshu aways read about adventures but never through she fit into them. Better to help those who were heroes than become one herself. 

Or that was what she told herself until a fellow young Jedi helped her see she could be a hero herself.

Anshu was a librarian for the Jedi order. Studying the art to become a Jedi herself -and a quite powerful one at that- she decided instead of becoming a warrior she would dedicate herself to preserving the arts and knowledge that the Jedi holds so dear. 

Fun day stuff. Anshu going about the Jedi temple (Belle style nose in a book) 

Bumps into Obi Wan

FlashBack 

The two of them training and baby Obi want pulling her hair teasing her for always reading.

“If you always have your nose in the book how will you ever see the real world?” “Maybe my books are better.” “Well, I’m in the real world so it’s better. And I’m going to be an amazing Jedi and if you keep reading you’ll miss it.”

Obi Wan makes fun of her slightly. They catch up and he asks about finding some maps Qui Gon needs. 

They explore the library and chat and Obi Wan admits as he got older he admires the life of a scholar. Anshu feels so flattered and a bit flushed over his praise of her work.

“The Libary has never been so easy to use. You have done such amazing work here.” 

Cute banter back and forth

He tells her he is going with Qui Gon to help Naboo with the Trade federation 

Episode one stuff 

He visits her for a few moments After Anakin is being tested and tells her about how Qui Gon has suggested he start the trails 

He seems like he wants to tell her something else but he gets cut off by a youngling telling him that Qui Gon wants him. They are going back to Naboo 

The next time she see’s him Qui Gon has died 

She meets him late at night just wondering through the halls. She tells him she heard and asks how he is.

He breaks down crying and telling her about how he can’t sleep thinking about what he could have done. 

She sits with him until he has cried himself out. 

Throughout the years

She becomes good friends with Aniken as well and will listen to their fights 

During this time she starts to notice how things seem strained at the Jedi temple. Something seems to be holding the Jedi back. Clouding their judgment. 

She realizes that the rules of the Jedi were starting to hold them back and not helping them grow. It was one thing to understand and learn from history but it was another to live there. 

More cute moments with Obi. She calls him Ben as a joke/nickname. It’s her special name for him.��

Episode 2

Obi Wan goes to her for help with finding the Clone planet. 

She tells him it doesn’t exist but is confused why and digs deeper while Obi Wan goes to check it out. 

Realizes that something dark is happening. Something bad.

Anshu collecting some of the most sacred texts copying them and taking Journey’s to hide them. 

For the first time, she is going to see the galaxies she had only read about 

More build-up between the Sith and Jedi

Anshu travels to different planets and has many hiding spots. Lots of codes and puzzles to hide books that she never wants to be used for evil. 

The more Anshu travels she realizes something is wrong. There is something sinister below the Order. Something bad is about to happen. She can feel it.

Order 66

Anshu is calling her Jedi master from the library when Anakin attacks

She tries to call other Jedi but it’s too late. So she rushes into hiding wondering what is happening and praying her friends made it out in time. 

Years later 

Anshu is now traveling undercover still finding texts and scripts 

Runs into Obi-wan

Thinks he’s a bad guy and attacks him 

They fight until she realizes who it is and that he is still good

She hugs him almost crying unable to believe he’s alive. 

Tells him about how she’s looking for a book that was lost and how she has a map to find it. 

He says he will help her.

Lots of Indian Jones adventures 

Lots of silly getaways

Romance starts to blossom 

 Anshu finds a place to hide her texts 

They travel to the planet Luke hid on 

Lots of near-misses almost getting caught by the growing empire 

Obi wan helps her find the panet 

They both sit on the beach looking out and he tells her about Luke and Leia. 

Almost kiss

She tells him she wants to help as she can

He leaves to live on Tatooine 

Anshu goes to visit him and asks for his help

He tells her he is going by Ben now

Cute little conversation about that

They go on an adventure together

Stops by to see baby luke first

Adventure 

They go find more missing Jedi stuff

Hide from an empire brigade 

He kisses her

They go back to Tatooine 

Little Luke is in trouble 

Some sand people kidnapped him 

Obi Wan and Anshu save him 

Obi Wan says he needs to stay here and protect the most precious Jedi treasure 

Anshu says she understands and says she will be around 

They visit each other 

Over the years she will come and tell him of her adventures. 

She also checks on little Leia 

Watches Luke grow up 

Obi Wan tells her he loves her and there is lots of fluff / Romance

Helps with Rogue One 

Tells Leia that they need Obi Wan

Goes off to find some information on the Empire 

Has been helping the rebels in secret.

End

She is traveling the world getting some crystals and information 

Retires to her hotel room excited to go home 

Has a dream of Obi Wan telling her how much he loves her and then he disappears. 

She wakes up and realizes 

Obi Wan died. 

Goes back to Tatooine 

Lives there in peace until one day she see’s a young woman standing by Luke’s old home 

“Who are you?” 

“I’m Ray Skywalker” 

And she knows everything will be alright.
