я здесь не постила ни одного саммари, поэтому почему бы не ультануть сразу.

вот так вот и прошли 4 года от саи и фотошопа до клип студии, вперемешку с традишем. 4 года далеко не от начала моей деятельности как креатора и даже не только как художника, но 4 года, которые я осознанно потратила на рост в рисовании, дописывая диплом по инженерной специальности и пытаясь понять, как дальше вести свою жизнь. по сути даже пять, но у меня нет саммари за 2019, а еще там я сменила ник только к концу года и меньше понимала свой вектор в рисовании. довольно любопытно на это смотреть. я не бросаю рисование и не планирую прекращать развиваться, но просто мне кажется, что вряд ли я буду также продуктивна и запалиста, как в этот период. честно говоря, в прошлом году я уже устала и рисовала больше в своей зоне комфорта. но это не отменяет того, что штуки вышли крутацкие и в деталях я продолжала эксперименты! с каждым годом я больше удовлетворена своими работами и со всеми недостатками мне приятно на них смотреть.

тут должна была быть какая-то мотивационная штука, но я прихожу сюда раз в месяц и типа кого здесь вообще волнует мое мнение- но спасибо за лайки и что алгоритмы все равно вам подкидывают какие-то мои штуки, ура

2022 ^_^ + older summaries for comparison! thoughts below

2022: i think a shift happened around october-november 2022? that’s kind of where i realized 1) i want to be a storyboard artist for real actually 2) being an artist professionally / working in the animation industry isn’t completely impossible like i thought. everything slowly clicked mentally for a few months and then i developed an insatiable drive for learning and improvement haha :] i have a lot to learn still but i’m having fun along the way regardless!

older art: i do want to mention how crazy it is that i stopped drawing for over a year in 2019-2020??? i still remember how rough it was to start drawing again, it almost felt like i was drawing for the first time... i was really nervous and doubtful and my skills felt so unstable T_T. i can’t see myself choosing to “give up” drawing again; i love it too much now... there’s so much to do and learn!!! i’ve been drawing more this month than i was in most months in 2022 even LOL.

...i’ve learned to truly love drawing & learning & working to improve AND have built a healthy relationship with both my art itself and posting it online. im very grateful and so happy about it!! nowadays i don’t constantly wish i was better, i just wish i could draw all the time :}

#art summary #2023 summary of art #2023 art summary #txt #honestly. i think this is the first year in a long time where i really don't feel that happy with the progress i've made with my art #like in 2020 i finally got comfortable with drawing digitally after SO MANY YEARS of chipping away at it #and 2021 i finally pinned down some stylistic choices i enjoy working with and figured out how to color #and 2022 i mostly just pushed the limits of what ''finishing'' art even looks like for me #since in the past i'd tend to leave everything pretty half baked #2023 was SUPPOSED to be the year i started into things like comics and composition and increasing dynamism #but i think mostly i just ended up hammering out more stuff in regards to color and line confidence #which are both good. i'm glad i made that progress #but it's a little disappointing i didn't finish the year with the specific takeaways i'd gone into it wanting to have #sighhhhhh maybe next year idk
