Sir Galahad from Arthurian Legend.
The red part of his outfit is a Gambeson, a type of padded fabric armour worn by itself or under metal plate armour. ^_^
(I'm also slightly proud of how weird that sword hilt design ended up.)

Here's the finished ARTUR REX small print I drew up for the mail-level tier of my P@treon (won't be shipping it out til mid-January, with October and November's long-delayed mailings).
(digital pencils, printed out in light blue, inked traditionally, colored digitally)

Fantasy sights: Walter Crane
Walter Crane is without a doubt one of the great names of the 19th century British art.
He was a painter who did various works, some of Arthurian inspiration, others more of more general subjects typical of classic art.
As such he did a Lady of Shalott...
A La Belle Dame sans Merci...
And a painting called "A Masque for Four Seasons"
But Walter Crane was mostly known as an illustrator. He worked on many books of fairy tales, nursery rhymes and other wondrous tales. Since there's a lot of pictures, see under the cut.
He illustrated fairy tales such as The Frog Prince, The Goose Girl or Little Red Riding Hood...
... But also Oriental tales such as Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, or more modern literary works such as Oscar Wilde's The Happy Prince and other stories.
He also illustrated various nursery rhyme in the book "The Baby's Opera"...
And an Arthurian Legends book...
And finally, various masques (Flora's Feast, A Masque of Flowers ; The First of May: A Fairy Masque)...
[Though note that this is just a slice of his very extensive artwork]

I made a post a while ago where I shared the WIP of my Lancelot du Lac redesign and never shared the complete version so here it is!
The flowers are: Mulberry, bay wreath, lavender rose, and daffodil (yes they have meanings I love being cringe and using symbolism).
You can find my designs for the other knights in this post
