3 Homebrew Spells Created By an A.I.
So here’s a fun post to fill time until Version 1 of the ‘Black Blade of Disaster’ Spell is ready for play-testing.
And yes, these Spells were entirely made by an Artificial Intelligence (with a little flavour and flair from yours truly) and you can use them in your Games at your own risk.
Uni’s Birds of Prey
3rd Level Evocation
Casting Time: 10 Minutes
Range: 120 Feet
Components: V, S, M (An Eagle’s Feather)
Duration: 1 Hour
Uni was a gnomish bard of great renown, having performed for many dukes, barons, and open warlords. He was a lover of chivalry, learning and artistry. As Uni was to do, being a Bard, he gained many Enemies, and so developed his very own Spell and dedicated it to his Bird Familiar: Asmodeus.
Chanting and dancing in the air, multiple birds of prey appear and circle your location.
Before the Spell ends, as an Action you can command one of these birds to fly towards a point of your choice that you can see and explode in a 5-Foot-Radius burst of pink energy.
Each Creature must make a Dexterity saving Throw or take 4d4 + 5 Force Damage.
You create a number of bird-shaped charges equal to your Spellcasting Modifier.
2nd Level Illusion
Casting Time: 1 Action
Range: Self (5-Foot-Radius)
Components: V, S, M (A polished black glass hand-mirror worth 250gp)
Duration: Concentration, Up to 10 Minutes
Ixodes was a Tiefling Mage famous for training under the Great Archmage Leafblade, an Illusionist and Assassin extraordinaire. Ixodes had a great fascination with mirrors, as his hellish heritage granted him amusement in the fact that he had no reflection, which Archmage Leafblade saw as a great asset.
This Spell takes a long, calming breath to focus, and creates a magical ‘shimmering prism’, which brings light into a small 10-Foot-Radius around you.
The prism resembles an Area of thick, polished black glass.
Any light entering the mirror is reflected. In this 10-Foot-Radius you appear as a shimmering, translucent Creature, and your movements are undetectable as if you were Invisible.
Any Creature other than you that starts its turn in the shimmering prism must make a Constitution Saving Throw or be Blinded for the next Minute.
Leafblade’s Horrible Black Fog
9th Level Conjuration
Casting Time: 1 Action
Range: 120 Feet
Components: V, S, M (An Emerald worth 10,000gp and some Dirt from an open grave)
Duration: Concentration, Up to 1 Minute
Classes: Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard
Archmage Leafblade was an Illusionist and Assassin extraordinaire, bringing the flair of the artful assassination to his Spells. Once an Apprentice of the King's Council, the last known Elven Archmage to achieve enlightenment, and the youngest known Elf to become an Archmage at the mere age of 73 (roughly 8 years old in human years), Archmage Leafblade is talented enough to provide a swift death, but only if he chooses.
This Spell creates a 20-Foot-Radius sphere of horrible black fog that appears to be a horde of grim-looking Skeletons.
Whenever a Creature moves into the fog or starts its Turn there, the Creature must make a Constitution Saving Throw or take an amount of Necrotic Damage equal to 20d4 + Your Spellcasting Modifier, or half as much on a successful Save.
If this damage reduces a Humanoid Creature to 0 Hit Points, the Creature rises as a Zombie on your next turn.
This Zombie is under your Command and follows your Verbal orders to the best of its Ability. After one Round has passed, the Zombie crumbles into grey ashes.

Artificial Intelligence: The Key to Successful Mining
Mining has matured significantly as an industry over the past century. No longer are we mining with physical hand and animal labor, but extracting crucial resources by pickaxe and oil lantern. A vital component of the mining industry is efficiency because most of the production revolves around transforming matter into different forms. Nowadays, artificial intelligence is readily available in many of the products and services we use. Add the latest advances in analytics and artificial intelligence to the mix, and get the perfect environment for improving efficiency in all areas of a mining operation!
Artificial intelligence is not limited to systems capable of going through vast amounts of data. Some sectors are aware building intelligent systems for other phases of the operation. here we see a smart system for waste sorting and disposal. This system is primarily used to improve the quality and quantity of the diamond recovery process. Artificial intelligence is also being used to identify new and potentially valuable areas to mine or drill.
Through the use of pattern matching, predictive analytics, and even computer vision systems that could process map and geological data, AI is able to analyze vast quantities of data to better predict where to find better resources. With better predictions comes better planning and a better return on expenditure. Check out how AI is becoming a powerful tool for analyzing data of all kinds in the mining industry!
The years to come could be exciting for the mining sector. We are now seeing many mining industries trying to implement digital systems and artificial intelligence as part of their operations. In the future, we might possibly see many new intelligent systems for easing regulatory and compliance requirements, improve operational efficiency, or guide production based on real-time predictions of the demand.
