Bell Belle - Ver. 1-3

The Bell Belle line is notable for its maxi sheer skirt, adorned with a specific design that persists through the rest of the outfit. Shoulders are left exposed, neck wrapped with a wide choker, full length gloves, and a pair of high heeled pumps. The Belle is an operatic voice, but is also capable of emitting a range of sound using her voice to create devastating soundwaves and cause extreme ear pain, even hearing loss. She could be considered a modern day siren.

In this set, I have the Bell Belle's hair styled in a low side chignon, parted far on the side with a just a small amount of hair peeking through. Overall, I like the way their hair turned out. Ver. 3 I'm on the fence with the hair; I think I should've used a different color for shadows instead of that dark mint.

I wanted to try a different approach with outlines on this set. It's been pretty much black outlines for the Energizer set and others previous. For this set, I wanted to try a different outline using different mediums that matched the surrounding color. Ver. 1 used colored pencils for outlining Ver. 2 used colored ballpoint pens Ver. 3 used colored Fineliners (journal pens) My favorite was the colored pencil outline. There's a certain softness that I like without looking fuzzy. The ballpoint pens were too inconsistent and I haven't mastered Fineliners (they're too thick or too think for what I use them for)

Overall, I like the way the designs for these 3 turned out. The sheer dress was a bit of a challenge but I did okay with it. I have about 9 more of these already sketched out, so I'll have plenty of practice.. lol
