If both Amy and Rouge are in Sonic 3, I know exactly what has to happen.

When Amy meets Sonic, there needs to be an overdramatic, slo-mo shot of Sonic through Amy's eyes, accompanied by a rosy filter and cheesy romance music. We know right from the get-go that this is love at first sight.

Later, Knuckles has the Master Emerald and everyone is discussing its role in whatever plan they have. Rouge shows up and sees Knuckles for the first time. The same music and visual effects come back from Amy first seeing Sonic, so you think Rouge is looking at Knuckles...until the shot instead cuts to the Master Emerald he's holding.

Since the Sonic movies are live action, it wouldn't read nearly as well if Amy was able to just pull her hammer out of thin air like she usually can. The two alternate possibilities I see are:

A) Her hammer can collapse or change shape so that she can more easily carry it on her person (like a RWBY weapon), or

B) You know that electric energy that Sonic and Knuckles both have? Amy can control hers and shape it into a sort of energy hammer.

I know a lot of the crossover ideas for Doctor Who and Good Omens involve Rose meeting Crowley, and I love that, but please consider: Donna Noble, the sassiest woman to ever walk the earth, meeting Crowley and just tearing him to shreds thinking he’s the Doctor going through a sudden mid-life crisis. She’s going after his clothes, hair, sunglasses, tattoo, and over all just his entire life. And Crowley’s just standing there like, “This is it. I’ve finally met my match.”
