Real Life

Muse A é ume pirate e sequestra B na intenção de ter recompensa por sua cabeça, provavelmente confundindo elu com alguém importante e mal sabendo que elu é um fodide sem nada pra dar em troca. Podemos ir na direção do plot engraçadinho de muse B tirando muse A do sério 24/7 (e no fundo Muse A gostando disso), mesmo sendo submetido a limpar o navio e outras coisas. Ou uma coisa mais dark romance.

Um de repente 30 ao contrário - muse A e B acabam voltando para o ensino médio quando tinham 18 e revivem traumas e os piores momentos de suas vidas, tendo a chance de também recuperar a relação arruinada dos dois e evitar desgraças em suas familias. Mas tudo tem consequencias, como os filhos/amigos/profissão no futuro não existir mais e todo o peso da decisão.

Morgana and Morgause swap. What if Morgana is sent to Avalon the Island of the Blessed and Morgause stays with the Gorlois family, and then is adopted by Uther?

I think this Morgause would be more inclined to become a lady-knight and compete with Arthur in jousts, inclined to achieve her dream to join the knightly order (but Uther would refuse cause she's a woman) than to think about magic and becoming a sorceress. Perhaps her magic manifests itself in a violent fire more than Morgana's, perhaps it would have happened after an angry outburst of emotions. On the other hand, I think this Morgause is more secretive in a confrontation with Uther than Morgana. Maybe she would even try to love him more than Morgana ever did. Uther love her less but maybe respects her more, since she is more "normal"?.. Generally, I think that this Morgause's main point of rebel would be sexism and Uther's indifference rather than destiny of magic.

As for Morgana, she would have been raised on the Island in harmony with magic and nature. Maybe she even forgets that she once had another family beside the Sisters. Later, when the Island was destroyed, she goes into exile with Nimueh and/or other survivors and continues her studies. She becomes calm, insightful, fearless without Camelot's influence, less reckless but harbouring more yearning in her soul. Then she receives visions of destiny, her own and everyone else's, and she finds out that she has a forgotten sister, and she wants to save her, find Emrys and take revenge on Uther(This Morgana knows about Emrys prophecies and wants to come into an alliance with him, but she does not know that it is Merlin the Servant). This Morgana would have been more forgiving of Arthur at first because she knew the prophecies, would try talking with him about his magical birth and peace; but gradually, with visions of the future horrors opening up to her sight, and the realisation that Arthur was following in his father's footsteps, she would have turned away from him too.

As for the legendary in*cesty romance Arturiana cannot go without, there would have been two versions. First: Morgause and Arthur would fall in love with each other, dream of a kingdom they would build together, and Morgause is more open in her affections and courting than Morgana. And more vindictive when she realises that Arthur has fallen in love with someone else(her maidservant). Second: Morgause was like a sister to Arthur since the beginning. A mysterious lady arrives in Camelot with a secret message (Morgana) and he falls in love with her; but then she disappears, taking Morgause and his heart with her.

okay im like. actually curious about anime girl arthuriana. youre the only person ive ever seen posting abt it and you told me abt it once and like.... i kind of Have To Watch It.. do you know where i can find it. also is it like good in a bad way OR is it bad in a good way. should i watch it

well as I have personally been an avid fan of anime girl king arthur for 10 years now obviously I think it's good in a good way. however it has a lot of what is most aptly described as "anime fanservice" baked into the series roots, and a quick look through your blog archive suggests that you don't have a lot of anime exposure, so I can't really say how easily you'll be able to like... look past some of the more distasteful elements of the genre. arthuriana itself is also weird and horny and ~problematic~ though so i'm not saying this because I think you can't stomach it I just feel the need to add a disclaimer because fate/series started with a porn game and never really let go of those roots it just also has bonkers lore. personally i think the good is so good that it more than overshadows the bad and you should definitely give it a try

fate/ is also a bit of an odd series in that translation projects for it are under some kind of curse so despite it's immense overseas popularity a lot of it never gets localised, or gets bad localisations, or fan translation projects for it drop halfway through, or turn out to have been partially machine translated, and so on. I'm sure this is a struggle arturiana can relate to lol. as a result for a lot of fate/ content you have no choice but to pirate it if you want to read or play it at all. there are a lot and i mean a Lot of different entries but individual entries of it are often pretty loosely connected so there's not really a fixed reading order, just a few sets of entries that are directly connected and the rest tends to follow in themes more than setting, and later entries tend to assume you already know how the magic shit works so it stops explaining it. this is also very arturiana of it.

the easiest way to test the waters and see if you'll enjoy fate/ is to watch the anime "Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works]". this is an adaption of the second route of the original game, as such it is missing a bit of context from the first route but it should still be easy enough to understand and it's imo a good representation for the overall vibes of the series (both good and occasional bad). last I checked it's available to watch on crunchyroll and netflix. after Unlimited Blade Works comes the movie trilogy "Heaven's Feel", which adapts the third and final route. alternatively you can watch "Fate/Zero" instead, which is on the same streaming platforms. Fate/Zero is the prequel to Fate/Stay Night and has a darker and edgier tone to it which may or may not be up your alley. both of them feature the original anime girl king arthur as one of the protagonists so they're good to see if you'll like her as well

there's a bunch of other fate/ anime on netflix, but none of them are good introductory points. the "Fate/Apocrypha" anime is a notoriously bad adaption, and if you're interested in that one I strongly strongly suggest looking for the manga adaption instead (Apocrypha is particularly cursed, the original novels never finished fantranslation and the manga is still ongoing so the shitty anime adaption is the only way to get the full story in english currently). the "Fate/EXTRA Last Encore" anime is a kind of spinoff slash alternate ending to the PSP game "Fate/EXTRA" and is likely to be incomprehensible without playing that one first (which i recommend because it's a personal favourite). the "Fate/Grand Order" anime are probably fine to watch after Stay Night, just be aware that they're pretty mediocre as adaptions and take place a good chunk into the story of the game with the same name so you're missing a lot of buildup. the "Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya" anime are unapologetic pedobait and not worth the trouble

if you like the Stay Night anime I would suggest reading the visual novel as a next step! as said before the original has three routes, and it's actually the first one that hasn't been adapted properly that focuses the most on anime girl king arthur's character. in this post I explain how to get the game. the nature of animated adaptions is also that they can't possibly convey everything in the original text, so even after watching the adaptions the visual novel will still offer a lot of fresh material.

another good next step is to pick up the mobile game Fate/Grand Order, it's the current flagship title of the series and is still ongoing. it's a gacha game (i don't know if that means anything to you. it's got glorified gambling basically. think fortnite lootboxes but for playable characters) so you might not want to touch it but I like the gameplay and story a lot so I'm still going to suggest it because it has a shitton of round table figures as playable characters and they feature heavily in parts of the main story as well. if you don't want to engage with gambling mechanics you can easily look up the story on youtube instead

i could go on for a lot longer because there simply is a lot of it lol but i think this is already more info than you really need to get started and if you have more questions I'll gladly answer them. I hope you enjoy it!

Além de sua estranha relação com ratos, o que por si só não faz dela uma figura muito querida entre os mais abastados na sociedade arturiana, ela não é ameaçadora, nem de longe tão animada quanto as irmãs mais velhas, nem tão interessante e gentil quanto os mais novos. No entanto, caso alguém pudesse ouvir o que ela pensa, se surpreenderia com as ideias mais hostis, rebeldes, incendiosas que alguém poderia ter. A questão para entendê-la talvez seja uma aposta, e se tratando de uma Soul, apostas são sempre divertidas e empolgantes de ver: Até quando a pose de boa moça irá mascarar a verdadeira espiã ardilosa? Será que tempo o suficiente para que os planos da Bruxa do Mar se realizem?

A história normalmente diz mais sobre quem a conta do que sobre os fatos narrados nela. Para os Arthurianos, e Ariel com certeza, Ursula era uma manipuladora, uma bruxa, uma negociadora inescrupulosa capaz de tudo para conseguir o que queria. uma shapeshifter. os boatos e os rumores eram infindáveis. Para Nynive, a mãe era uma mulher triste, no fundo, era isso que ela via. tristeza. Os olhos azuis grandes viviam cansados, arrumando cadeiras quebradas, balcões cedendo, espartilhos que viviam soltando lantejoulas. Enquanto pregava um paetê e outro, ela ouvia a mãe contar das cores de sereias, vivas, escamosas, brilhantes como nenhuma outra pedra preciosa. Ela no centro da corte de Tritão, uma igual, cheia de poder, glória, em um reino que não era nada parecido com o Castigo, nem Arthurian era páreo para a beleza dos sete mares. Ali era o lar. Dizia a mãe com confiança, era ali que ela e seus irmãos tinham de crescer. Não naquele buraco.

Os olhinhos curiosos da Soul absorviam cada palavra, ainda que naquela idade, ela estivesse mais preocupada em brincar de faz-de-conta de sereia, em nadar com golfinhos, lutar com tubarões e explorar navios naufragados. era uma criança, cercada de lixo, muito tempo em suas mãos e o pior de tudo. uma promessa: que sua verdadeira vida estava embaixo d’água.

Crianças não tem porque duvidar de suas mães e sua mãe, em especial, convencia qualquer um de qualquer coisa. bastava ver, através das janelas pequenas do camarim, o que ela conseguia fazer com um pouco de luz, plumas e música. O castigo parecia um lugar mágico, pelo menos o clube onde ela tinha crescido. Não era de se admirar que houvesse aprendido algo que uma criança não deveria. Um clube como aquele não era para ser habitado por crianças, mas Ursula jamais tratou qualquer um dos seus filhos como infantilóides. Não, não. Ela conseguia filar um cigarro com a graça de uma estrela do cinema dos anos cinquenta, com unhas decoradas, posicionar entre os lábios pintados de carmim, e dizer “Sabe de uma coisa, criança….” a voz rouca de cigarro, pausava apenas para que a fumaça escapasse,. “Nenhum homem jamais vai respeitar o poder de uma mulher. Nunca. Então nunca se sintam mal de tomar o seu próprio poder.”

Nynive não sabia o que aquilo queria dizer. Por muitos anos ela não soube. Mas assentiu, obedientemente enquanto via aquela tristeza se tornar raiva. e então ódio. e aí observar que tudo o que a mãe era, era apenas uma sombra, ela existia apenas por um sentimento: vingança.

Foi quando a filha, ainda muito nova, começou a se afastar da mãe. Começou a experimentar coisas por si só. Porém, como uma onda gravitacional, ela sempre terminava muito perto da água que cobria a ilha. Como se uma voz lhe chamasse. O reino que lhe havia sido prometido estava tão perto. Às vezes, ela quase sentia o impulso de se jogar na água, mas nunca o fazia. E isso lhe deixava com raiva, lhe deixava com medo, e assustada. Não era fácil reconhecer aqueles sentimentos nela mesma, quando ela achava tão feio vê-los em sua mãe. Se afastou então, de tudo que lhe fazia lembrar do mar, das palavras de sua mãe e, conforme esperava completar dezoito anos, onde poderia finalmente descobrir quem era longe da influência negativa de sua mãe, Nine acreditava fielmente que poderia ser alguma coisa diferente.

Foi quando durante seu primeiro semestre no instituto, acabou por se envolver em um acidente, algo idiota realmente com alguns herdeiros, querendo testar suas teorias e, ela acabou caindo na água. O lugar em que ela estava terminantemente proibida de ir. Por não saber nadar e seu corpo, amaldiçoado não poder se mudar para a verdadeira forma, apenas afundou como uma latinha sem vida. Quando tiraram seu corpo d´água, pálido, gelado Nynive se sentia confusa. Sabia que não era a água a culpada pelo seu acidente, sequer dos idiotas que lhe empurraram. Sua vida, assim como de seus irmãos e de sua mãe havia sido roubada. Eram como deficientes, sem uma muleta. Acreditando que a salvação estaria do outro lado da ilha, mas a verdade…. a verdade é que eles precisavam salvar a si mesmos. Serem donos da própria vida não tinha nada a ver Arturian, e tudo a ver ao mesmo tempo.

Nenhuma mudança foi possivel observar dali para frente. Ela continuou quieta. aprendendo, se tornando útil, dizendo as coisas certas nos momentos certos, mas enquanto Niko, seu camundongo passeava pelos canos, vendo e ouvindo coisas, ela alimentava a mãe de conhecimento, de informações que poderia finalmente devolver a ela e a todos os amaldiçoados no castigo a sua verdadeira vida.

Mitologia Celta

Os povos celtas seguiam uma religião politeísta, com muitos deuses e deusas, cada um ligado a aspectos da vida e do mundo natural.

Algumas divindades eram veneradas amplamente em todo o mundo celta, enquanto outras eram limitadas a uma única região ou mesmo a uma localidade específica.

O número 3 era sagrado para os celtas, por isso várias divindades eram vistas como tríplices.

O Outro Mundo é o lar dos deuses e de todas as criaturas sobrenaturais (espíritos, elementais, etc), geralmente escondido por uma névoa. Em Gales ele é chamado de Annwn, nas lendas arturianas é Avalon e na Irlanda tem vários nomes, incluindo Tír na nÓg e Hy-Brasil.

Os humanos que entram nesse território podem correr perigo ou passar por um processo de autoconhecimento. Aqueles que descobrem suas virtudes, voltam dotados de poderes sobrenaturais, sabedoria especial ou presentes mágicos.

Os maiores ramos sobreviventes da mitologia celta são o Irlandês, o Galês e o Gaulês (atual França, Bélgica...).

A mitologia irlandesa é a mais popular hoje em dia. Foi transmitida oralmente na era pré-histórica e posteriormente transcrita por escribas cristãos, que a modificaram e cristianizaram até certo ponto.

A maior fonte de informação sobre a mitologia galesa vem do livro Mabinogion, uma coleção de onze histórias oferecendo drama, filosofia, romance, tragédia, fantasia e humor.

Alguns estudiosos acreditam que os contos são fragmentos da mitologia celta galesa, em especial as primeiras histórias, conhecidas como Os Quatro Ramos do Mabinogion.

i think what i like the most about rhapsody of fire's music is that it plays in a different sphere than expected if you go in blind.

its medieval, but clearly not in an actual historical sense. its got wizards and swords and dragons and shit, but not in a literary sense; like it doesnt ring true to lotr or to thomas mallory style arturiana, or any of the sort.
