11/FEB/20XX

got to practice my healing magic some more today as frisk continually papercut themselves during the construction of a heart garland.

"starting to wonder if that paper's red from paint or your 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 at this point, kiddo."

"I'm not bleeding 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 much."

frisk re-did a section they messed up from being cut, extra careful not to get sliced in the same way twice.

"so..."

"you just make these garland thingies for every holiday now, huh?"

turning to look at me, expression completely unchanged -

"Yes."

they answered confidently.

"..all right then."

they put glue around the edges of a paper heart and dipped it in glitter; repeating this process until they had however many shiny hearts they deemed 'enough'.

by this point, i'd already come to accept the glitter that was going to be everywhere forever.

that stuff doesn't come out of carpet well.

however, apparently me staring at the glitter going everywhere gave frisk a terrible idea.

"Hey, Sans. Look at me for a second."

i did.

i shouldn't have.

with a handful of glitter, frisk blew as hard as they could to coat my face in a glittery pink.

". . . ."

they couldn't stop laughing.

i took what i could off, eventually sure i had to have gotten most of it.

there was a knock at the door.

"Hello, Sans."

"I am here to pick Frisk up."

"Waitwaitwait, I'm almost done! Give me like five more minutes?"

"...Alright, five minutes it is."

"Me and Sans will be outside chatting in the meantime."

"Got it."

frisk sped up their paper-snipping.

"don't cut yourself again in the five minutes i'm not with you, ok?"

"I haven't cut myself THAT many times!"

"...."

".....Okay. I'll be more careful."

me and tori stepped just outside the door. the weather was just cool enough to still be pleasant.

she looked at me and started to say something before pausing.

"..Your eyesockets are looking quite glittery today!"

"."

"it's."

"it's still there??"

"If you mean-"

"the glitter."

"..Yes, it is."

"goddamn it."

"It is not a terrible look."

"thought i got all the glitter out. thought wrong, apparently."

"How did this happen, anyway?"

frisk would definitely get in trouble if i told toriel they blew glitter in my face.

i rejected that avenue of petty revenge.

"fell asleep without realizing i went face-first into the stuff."

"I see."

"If you are really so determined to remove it immediately, perhaps we could try some tape."

"worth a shot."

frisk looked confused when we re-entered the house.

"It hasn't been five minutes yet. It's been like... three and a half."

"I'm extending your time a bit."

"SICK! For how long?"

"..However long it takes to remove glitter from this skeleton's face."

"Oh."

tori poked around the room for some tape.

confused as to why they weren't being scolded, frisk gave me a questioning look.

"(didn't tell her.)"

"(Why?)"

"('s not a big deal, so why bother?)"

"(..Because you didn't want to bother.)"

"(yup.)"

"(Should've expected a lazy reason for it.)"

"If not here, where might you keep your tape?"

"oh, i think i had it in my room."

"..What for??"

i remembered taping things to a certain card.

"probably broke something. who knows."

"Alright then, I suppose."

"Is it alright if I go in your room?"

"yeah i- uhhhhh."

"actually, hold on."

opening and closing my door behind me, i looked around my room. no way in hell was i deep-cleaning the place, but kicking loose clothes under my bed and straightening the sheets a little was a start.

and by start i mean

"good enough."

then i opened the drawer that valentine's junk and the tape dispenser were sharing space in.

"ok, you can come in."

i kicked the drawer shut. tori entered and closed the door behind her. she looked around and inspected the bed for a moment.

"It is much nicer with a frame, is it not?"

"pretty cozy, i guess. still breaking that habit of flopping onto the floor though."

"Is that what that is for?"

pointing to a light i'd attached to the bottom of my bed.

"to remind me my bed's raised."

"Smart solution."

"May I?"

glancing at my bed.

"go ahead, but fair warning that my sheets'll probably make you smell of funky skeleton odor."

sitting down on the edge of my bed, she laughed.

"I do not mind 'skeleton odor'. Whatever it is that entails."

i sat down next to her.

"so, uh."

"you turnin' me into a tape mummy for this?"

motioning for me to turn around, toriel guided my head to her lap.

"...what's-"

tape was suddenly pressed into my left eye socket.

"....."

"no warning, huh?"

"Sorry. I figured you had understood where this was going."

"well i... certainly understand 𝘯𝘰𝘸."

the experience of having tape put 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 my sockets wasn't any less bizarre and slightly jarring than the experience having tape pulled 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 my sockets, but i think i'm pretty much glitter-free. at least she was more gentle from then on.

when we exited my room, i noticed frisk suddenly had headphones on. i tossed the ball of glitter-coated tape at their head to catch their attention. it bounced onto the carpet. they looked up and took off their headphones.

"Oh, you done making out?"

"Frisk! I was not 'making out' with Sans."

"she was helping me undo 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 mess, y'know."

"I thought you said you fell asleep in the glitter?"

"......"

frisk's face begged me not to tell. once again, i set aside the easy revenge.

"yeah, i did. anyway, you better take 'em home before they sparkle up the place any more."

frisk swept their paper and glitter mess into their bag and hopped up from the floor.

"Did you finish your creation, my child?"

proudly unraveling a glittery paper-heart string.

"Yup."

"It is very pretty! We can hang it up when we get home."

they swung up the front door and darted across the lawn to hop into tori's car.

toriel stopped for a moment, pausing to lock her eyes with mine. with a quick glance backwards to see where frisk was, she bent down a little to raise my hand to her lips.

"returnin' the favor?"

"It is only fair."

she gave a hopeful smile.

"You will visit me on the fourteenth, will you not?"

"..yeah. 'course i will."

Late Valentine post (really late holy shit)

But zeff is not great at gift giving and his default was just chocolate and flowers but he remembered the yasopp doesn't like chocolate (usopp doesn't like chocolate either) and fucking panicked and he called up his son for help. Sanji being the hopeless romantic instead of talking through snail he physically visits his dad to help him with Valentine's Day gifts. He ended up buying most of the stuff I'm going a little bit overboard. Like he didn't need the stuff seeking nor did he need the wine but his son gets lost in the moment and just picks up anything he thinks is nice. He honestly forgot why he was there and just started buying stuff for usopp

This is so cute 😭💙💛 It doesn't matter that you're late to Valentine's Day because this was definitely worth it!!

Zeff has never been good at gift-giving, actually. The first Christmases/Birthdays he had with Sanji were... A bit difficult. Sanji wasn't expecting any gifts at all, and Zeff had never had a son before, so what was he supposed to do? He was a pirate! He's not made for these things. But it was so sad to see his little Eggplant not asking for anything or even being excited about it that he started getting him stuff. But Sanji was an easy kid, you know? At least he used to be before he started getting into tailored suits and big romantic gestures. When he was a kid, even a small book brought joy to his face. A new knife. A new apron. Whatever the kids were into nowadays-- Zeff literally had no idea what kids were into, he just knew his kid was into cooking, so he got him the stuff he liked. Never animals, though, he had enough of him befriending random rats if they ever got inside the restaurant (happened once, never again. Zeff almost murders Sanji for feeding the little thing).

The man has never been good at this, right? So when he finally dates (kind of dating. Sort of. It's complicated. They have something romantic going on) somebody after years of not even thinking about it... He needs to ask Sanji for advice. It's a bit too embarrassing to do so, you know, asking your own child for romantic advice. But at the end of the day, Sanji is the most romantic person in the world. And at the end of the day, Zeff can just say he's asking him in case his boyfriend knows something about it (actually, Zeff personally asks Usopp but the guy just stands there like "??? My father left me when I was a kid and we recently started talking again, do you really think I know what he likes? But he doesn't like chocolate. Oh- You've already tried that? Huh. He likes fish? And dancing? I don't know, man, he's your boyfriend." / "Please, don't say that to my dad." / "Babe, you need to start moving on from this, you're literally the only one acting like a fifteen-year-old seeing his father kiss someone for the first time."

Sanji ends up visiting his dad because he has little to no perception of personal space when it comes to romantic gestures, and if his father, for the first time in his life, is going to show he can do something similar to a grand gesture like that, he doesn't want to miss it. Also, he's sure he's going to mess it up on his own. And he really, really, really doesn't want Usopp's dad to be all sad about it because then that would mean less time with his boyfriend.

I think it'd be really cute if Usopp and Sanji had been together for a while, but since Zeff and Sanji don't see each other much, seeing Sanji's romantic side (actual romantic side and not the 'I wanna fuck every girl that appears in front of me' side) is actually... Liberating? Kind of? It's not that Zeff has been worried about the kid, he can handle himself just fine. But... But it's a relationship they haven't talked about much and it's clearly important to him. So realizing that he has people who love him and somebody he's willing to do something romantic for makes Zeff feel extreme joy. A joy that he would never express out loud because it'd get too quickly to Sanji's head. But yeah.

So they go shopping together! Sanji starts explaining to him different things he can do for Yasopp. Either an activity or maybe just a simple present like wine. Clothes. Maybe a romantic dinner, so they should buy ingredients, too. Fish, because everybody likes it. Usopp only happens to like it too, so Sanji will just use the chance to think about what he should make for his Valentine's dinner. Also, speaking about clothes, Usopp needed a new hat, so he could get that too! And wine is alright, but Usopp is more fond of sweet cocktails rather than wine, so maybe buying something for that would be great. Usopp doesn't like chocolate either, but there are millions of sweets they can try to find. Also candles. So many candles. And perhaps a handwritten note! Because Usopp always leaves drawings around the ship for him, so he should do something like that too. Maybe gloves for his precious hands-

Sanji ends up forgetting about Yasopp, actually, and turns out he's been dragging his father around shops the whole day talking and talking and talking about Usopp. He snaps out of it when Zeff drops the "You care about him a lot, don't you, kid?"

And Sanji doesn't hesitate when he responds laughing at him. "Care about him?" Because to him, that's such simple wording. "I'm in love with him. I don't know about you, old man, but he's the one to me. Saying I care about him is not enough, but you do you."

"Huh. With how much shit you're getting him I hope he feels the same."

"What? Usopp doesn't want all of this."

"The hell are you talking about?"

"I mean- He does want it. And he does enjoy the gifts. But he doesn't care about them? It's not like he's with me for all of this. He always drops some sappy things like 'the only gift I need is being with you'. He doesn't need to get me anything, either."

"And you're okay with that?"

"Are you hearing yourself? Of course I am. The only gift I need is being with him."

"And all of this bullshit, then?"

"I don't expect you to understand since you're a rancid, old, bitter man who somehow managed to date the complete opposite of himself. But... Guess it just feels right to get him things, since he never asks for anything? The first time we did this he thought I wouldn't get him anything, can you believe it?"

"Reminds me of someone."

"Shut up. We need more shopping to do and you still haven't chosen your present."

"What about the whole 'the only gift is being together' shit?"

"Pfft. Do you really think you can pull that off? And on your first Valentine's Day? To a man who was married and had a kid? You haven't been dating that long, even. That is not working for you."

"And what if it did?"

"Then you need to get him a present anyway. I was happy enough being your kid and yet you still got me stuff, didn't you? It's a nice gesture."

Zeff chooses to make Yasopp dinner and have a whole romantic date planned when the Baratie is closed (decorated by Sanji, of course, because who else would've turned the restaurant into a romantic paradise?) and Sanji runs away as quickly as he can from there because he's been thinking about Usopp too much and now he misses him like crazy. And he also needs to get ready for their own Valentine's Day.

I think it would be sweet if Yasopp called Usopp to ask him about Zeff too and ended up doing the same thing as Sanji, except that he only gets him something small and Yasopp starts asking him how is it possible that he (storyteller. Superhero. Extremely over the top all the time) doesn't buy Sanji something more spectacular. Usopp only says that the last time he did something like that for Sanji he ended up having a whole breakdown from how overwhelmed with love he was, so now they choose simpler stuff. But! But Yasopp should not do that and he should definitely do something magnificent instead.

It would be cute if they ended up being extremely exhausted from running around all day long and didn't even want to celebrate Valentine's Day. I think Sanji would try to force himself to be extremely romantic and energetic but Usopp would just drag him to bed with him and go "No. Not today. Me tired. Sleep with you." / "But- But what about-" / "You're a pillow now. Shhh." / "Was it really that tiring?" / "I don't know how my mom married him, my father is awful at this." / "The old man is shitty at romance too. I had to explain to him why not getting Yasopp anything was a bad idea." / "Idiot. The 'you're everything I need' thing only works when-" / "When it's true. Yeah. I still got you something, though." / "Mmm. Me too. But now, sleep." / "It's alright, we'll just eat the fish tomorrow. And the cake. And drink the cocktails. And-" / "Now I'm hungry. Let's go. I hate you." / "But sleeping?" / "Eat first, then sleep." / "You're the love of my life."

And then both couples have very cute and romantic Valentine's dates 🫶

How I Feel About This Character

She's not my favorite, but I don't necessarily hate her. She has a ton of potential to work with for writing/character studies given that she doesn't have much of a backstory in the show. So, while I do get and agree with most of the criticism towards her, I like that she's a complicated character. (That's not to say she's the most deeply complex character out there, not by any means lol) We need more female characters like that. Especially ones that don't get vitriolic hate for just EXISTING, y'know?

All The People I Ship Romantically With This Character

Chloe x Christine shipper all the way! I love the idea of them together, I just think they'd be really cute. And I also really like the idea of her and Madeline having complicated feelings for each other. Like, they like each other, but Chloe's weirdly jealous of her too or something like that? Basically cursed yuri if you really think about it

My non-romantic OTP For This Character:

I don't ship PinkBerry, but I like her and Brooke fixing the issues in their friendship and actually growing into their own people/becoming better friends as a result. I like to think that once they really get to know each other, they don't rely on each other as much but still stay friends. Idk man, she's hard though I do like the idea of her Jenna and Rich being chaotic together. They're actively disturbing the peace and they look hot doing it

My Unpopular Opinion About This Character

I see her either trying to be a better person and treating the others better, OR joining an MLM. There's no in between. Like she either follows the mean girl to nurse/lawyer/politician pipeline, but just isn't as mean, or gets really chill and tries to push that part as far deep as she can from her.

One Thing I Wish Would Happen/Had Happened With Them In Canon

That we learn more about her! Like her homelife, her interests, her goals, her relationships and how they came to be with the other characters, just more about her other than "the bitchy mean girl." Both that and her actions get discussed or acknowledged. They probably do in canon, and I could just be clueless, but from what I know that just? Doesn't happen? They don't talk about some of the messed-up stuff she did, so that'd be nice to see in either canon or fanfiction.

My OTP

Her and Christine. I could just see the two of them caring about each other and her being someone Chloe feels comfortable with. She feels like she can talk to her, and Christine has the person she's most afraid of judging her, not doing that at all. She even gets her into acting too and it's something they bond over, just so much fun dynamics to explore with them. I love them <3

My Cross-Over Ship

I haven't thought about it all that much, but honestly, her and Harper or Missy from Heartbreak High. I don't know why, I just think they'd be cool together for whatever reason. That or like Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop or Ashley Graham from Resident Evil just because it'd be really funny

A Headcanon Fact

This has probably been said before, but like most of the rest of the cast I see her home life being pretty bad too. Her parents are probably absent or just can't connect with her, so she acts the way she does as a result. I don't think they're bad people, just not around enough to really get to know her. That's not to excuse her behavior though, it's just my weird way of seeing it.

Sweet Valentine!

Synopsis: In which as tradition, you gave them your homemade chocolates for this sweet day!

A/n: writing for the yttd community, there are hardly some crumbs here n im here to provide, OH and i had a lot of fun writing shin's, everything turns fun when there's midori🖐️ ok pls i rlly love shin's part im re-reading it so many times lol

With Joe's cheerful, bright aura, you're struggle to even just seeing his smile is understandable. But you decided to appreciate him for it, that's what led you to try to do those cliche high school girl things to their high school crush.

And so, there you are, box in hand behind your back, you watch as Sara and Ryoko left the both of you alone for some privacy. It became a little awkward until you speak up, shoving the box in front of him.

He looked at it, full of surprise, processing what just happened, until he realize you were giving him a valentine chocolate, his face painted with that toothy smile again. "Thank you, y/n!! Oh my god, I can't believe I actually get some..!" And oh wow did that smile just painted the atmosphere better.

Once the deed is done, you went your separate ways, "Let's meet each other up someday! Just the two of us!!" he said as he catches up to his friends, giving you a wink and thumbs up.

Mr. Policeman is quite busy, so Keiji kinda dismiss today as a normal day, he has duties after all, it's not like anyone would just suddenly gift him chocolates to begin with. Or so he thought.

Jobs are tiresome for real, hardly had enough time to catch a breath, watching all those criminals, claiming justice, things like that. He never really thought you would left something for him until one of his co workers tell him that you were searching for him, he found a pretty wrapped box with a cute letter that motivate him on his friendly policeman duties.

"Guess a break doesn't hurt, I gotta call y/n too."

Cheesy stuff like valentines never really amaze Shin, mostly because he has no time to think about those kind of stuff, or that he just doesn't have that someone to celebrate it with lol.

And you're on a mission to change that! Unfortunately, as soon as you approach him, he was with his creepy friend, you guess right, it's Sou, clinging to Shin like some mother on her child's first day at school.

"Hiyori, I told you I have a meeting with y/n-" "Aww, just for a little bit? They haven't arrived yet, why the patience?" The thing Hiyori didn't know that Shin is trying to get rid of him for being creepy, and that he didn't want that guy to mess with you, poor guy.

You decided to help Shin, making clear of your presence. "Ekhem, excuse me sirs..." "Ah, y/n! Thank god you're here..!" when Shin said that, Sou gave him a glare, 'Thank god?'

Later, he gives up, and decides to leave the both of you alone for a while, giving you a bow and walk away from you. Time for business.

"I got something for you, haha..." You handed the beanie man your gift. Once he notice your intentions, red blushes painted his cheeks, surprised, awkward expression, he feels bad receiving it, but you insist either way. Shin was internally broke, good job.

From afar, Sou creeps the both of you, sneaking at Shin's happy expression and decide to tease him about it later.

Jace for the ask game

sorry for the delayed response skdjhfkdjsh—

I do not like Jace in s1 of the show, but I do like him elsewhere — he could do with some more awareness of Alec & Alec's feelings, but he's also an interesting character and I like reading fic about him when it's written right. So tbh my opinion of him depends on what context I'm reading about him and how he's depicted.

yeah so. I get that he's supposedly very attractive. but I don't really like how he looks in either the show or the movie, and tbh I don't find blond hair particularly attractive? so I know he's supposedly hot but I don't really get it. (This is based on aesthetic attraction btw.)

hogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuff

As much as I like exploration of non-gryffindor traits for Jace, he is, fundamentally, gryffindor. He checks all the boxes (brave, self-sacrificing, reckless, brash, etc.)... basically all of the main characters of books/other media end up being gryffindors (which is exactly what happened in hp itself), so it's not really a surprise that Jace ends up in that house.

best quality: self-sacrifice

Jace is, like Alec, very self-sacrificing (the Soul Sword in the show, even if it didn't end up that way; I can't list an example from the books but it's definitely a major character trait). He's completely willing to give up his life if he believes it's the right thing to do.

worst quality: self-centred

This is not the same as selfish, I would like to point out. Jace doesn't really notice stuff that doesn't concern him — there's a ton of peripheral stuff in canon that he kinda ignores/doesn't notice. He's not intentionally not caring about other people, he just doesn't necessarily think through the consequences of his actions. It's something that he shares with Clary, and imo why he was so irritating in s1.

ship them with: Simon

I used to really like Clace, but now I'm honestly more of a fan of Jimon — they're just super adorable together <3333333 the dynamic is great, Simon is going on about something & Jace is just looking at him sappily <3

I'm not hugely into Jace x Meliorn or Maia, because there's not that much about them in the books (Meliorn is evil & Maia doesn't have any chemistry with Jace), and I haven't actually seen the show so I'm not invested in those ships because of that skdjfhskdjhfds

(note: I very strongly do not ship Jace with Magnus or Alec.)

brotp them with: Alec, Magnus

Alec — WE NEED MORE PARABATAI CONTENT. I would love to see more about their relationship, especially on Jace's side — it's not very balanced in canon, imo. And Jace giving Alec the Headship in the show, and nominating Alec for Consul in the books, are two of my favourite scenes with Jace.

Magnus — brothers in law!!! They're way more similar than they seem (they both love Alec, they both have messed up father figures & relationships with said father figures, they both have traumatic pasts, they both use a facade of arrogance to hide their insecurities, etc.), and I feel like that could be really interesting when explored. Also, they definitely pretend to hate each other a lot more than they do, which is a really interesting dynamic.

needs to stay away from: Valentine (duh).

This one's pretty obvious. Valentine is a horrible person and very manipulative in general, but he has a huge potential to hurt Jace.

BB: welcome back everyone! So good to see you all here today! We're back for a 3rd time here on BB Channel! Like before we're joined by the lil cuties of Ed and Mari. But this time their parents have come to join!

Rex: hello...

Quetz: Hola!

BB: that wasn't a very strong greeting Rex!

Rex: I'm tired right now. Can't this wait?

BB: time waits for no one and neither does BB!

Mari: already this is super annoying! *sigh* so why'd you decide to bring them into this anyways?

BB: the people who follow this blog need to see how they're doing so long after Chaldea too! You two have had the spotlight for a while, so now you should share.

Ed: I mean... guess that's fair.

Mari: should anyone be dealing with this?

Rex: I'd rather not be here either.

BB: aaaww, don't be like that! This will be fun!

Quetz: that's a very hard sell BB.

BB: just humor me at least.

Rex: ...fine

Quetz: what are we even doing anyways?

BB: some of your interdimensional buds have sent in questions about how you guys are doing, and I'm here to get those answers for them!

Quetz: that actually sounds nice...

BB: fine. First few are from my precious bombardier beetle! First one she asks: do you have any pets?

Mari: oof! Do we!

Rex: currently we have four dogs: 1 German Shepherd named King, a Pitbull named Sparks, a Dogo Argentino named Duke, and a Corgi named Marshmallow.

Quetz: but also we have a habit of adopting older dogs who aren't likely to get a home because of their age or rescues to give them a nice place to stay.

BB: aaawww, well ain't that wholesome?

Mari: we also have mom's bigass pterosaur!

BB: less wholesome. Next one from my dear yellowjacket: favorite foods?

Rex: PIZZA!

Rex: y'mean like now? I mean... it's a relatively normalish domestic life? With less work tho.

Quetz: si, I've made plenty from my lucha career before retirement we don't have to worry about money much. But mi amof still makes money just in case.

BB: well after that she asks: how was your life before and after meeting each other?

Rex: ...kinda sad. Aside from chaldea and saving the world, I was kinda just... stagnant. Go to work, go home and so on. Not much to my life before then.

Quetz: ...honestly, for me it was the same. After the age of Gods ended we didn't do much of anything. We mostly watched over humanity, I've been summoned in modern day before but that was rare and infrequent.

Rex: ...after I met Quetz tho... I dunno things felt... better? She kinda forced her way into my life after I summoned her and... I was more then ok to accept her... before long we had something beautiful...

Quetz: aww, mi amor! I'm so happy to hear that!

Rex: I mean... where we are now is good.

Quetz: ...most family events are just us... going somewhere nice to eat nice food...

Rex: do they mean bringing extended family? My family lives too far to visit often

Mari: right, well for holidays we celebrate most standard one, like Easter and valentine's and such. For October we kinda try to combine Halloween and Day of the dead.

Ed: but Christmas is the most important for us! Mom and Dad always make the biggest celebrations for Christmas!

BB: gotta love the holidays! Especially when your mom is santa... still weird to say that. Next one! Any plans for the future?

Rex: eh... not really? I mean I want to prepare Maria to continue the family magecraft, since Ed has no interest.

Quetz: *sigh* mija, you need to change your priorities.

Rex: well... it was eventful to say the least. Not long after completing the china LB. Most of the servants were invited, and most of Quetz's family showed up.

Quetz: si, Martha officiated it for us. Most of my family were so nice at the time... too bad that hasn't lasted.

BB: it was such a nice wedding! You two were so "nervous" you had trouble with your vows! How adorable!

Quetz: si! I've almost destroyed a few servants a few times until mi amor caught me in a hug! I can't bring myself to harm him... so I stop!

BB: sounds too easy... but I've seen that before so... I'll let it slide.

Four-eyes| one shot damirae

A/n: I'm trying to stretch up my writing muscle before continuing other work. Sorry for crappy idea and crappy sketches.

Either her reason is to cut off from social interacting or just the aesthetic, Damian can't help find himself staring at her as she held her book close up, almost buried her face in it.

'What's with the pose?' Damian mumbled as he seen her sit at the living room, while other member interacting, playing even asking question while she simply choose to isolate herself by reading book way to close as if she literally pushing everyone away from her.

Damian as usual goes to the table which situated near the window and put down some document and report for him to finish and compiling. Other than patrolling, working on clerical stuff makes him busy.

Growing up training to kill, social were never be in his dictionary but it seems Raven's effort in social distancing is a bit...annoying as he seen her at the corner of his eyes while studying the statistic of how many times someone try to mess up banking system at the city then he decided to focus on his paper.

He remember when the first time he was sent to teen titans by his father much to his dismay, the member seems to display a tiny of fear as they look at him like seeing a nightmare but for raven, she keep calm.

He thought she's different perhaps because she's the daughter of demons (the worst one), she takes no judgement. But still, he need to be cautious towards her.

Perhaps it is one of her trait where she tries to calm down her team mates if there's inner tension happening. If Starfire unable to calm down the fight between two boys especially when involves with him.

One thing he can't be control is him being hard head and stubborn to the point Raven almost sent him to another dimension. Raven's patience are not infinite and he definitely not going to be overboard with his attitude. Therefore, it train him to tolerate some of member attitude as well as how to cooperate and using other member's ability to achieve the objective of the mission.

He does prepare some plan and blueprint towards the teen titans member for tactical study. Beast boy and Wally simply scoffed as they skim up the document like it was nothing. They prefer to wing it in, as what they told Damian which almost makes him lectured them about preparedness and failure is only for people who don't prepare for any consequences.

However, Raven told him, he should lose up a bit and she does say the others are learning from him being better in tactical as she let him to observe the other member closely when they conducting some mission that involved less threat. She pat on his back, simply said " Don't worry, they got it. They learn it from you. " She smiled.

He felt something after he heard it. What is this flutter feeling in his chest?

His face felt some heat. what is happening?

Trying to avoid Raven from seeing his vulnerable state , he simply let out the sigh and step away from her. At the corner of his eyes he saw her face from pleasant smile to surprised.

Sometimes he cursed his past for not knowing the meaning of emotion. All he learn is vengeance and angry. Only those two. As soon as he move in Gotham, he start to learn respect, family love and worries. The feeling after being praised? He still figure it out what is it.

As time goes by, he eventually try to bond the team, helping them become better. "Dude, even though you'relike some sort of gremlin, I guess you are a good person after all!" Beast boy cracked then turn into a Macaque hugging Damian's face much to his disgust after he improved the shapeshifter's suit.

He sighed.

After two years later, he's begin to be comfortable with the team and almost memorize their attitude and personalities. Somehow, he still haven't figure out Raven. When it comes to accomplish the mission, she glide through the air, launching attack and be as enigma and Raven-y as she can, casting fear towards the enemy. He swore he has seen the method before.

As soon as the mission over, she open the portal pulling the team back into teen titans tower like a worm hole short cut and after that the team disperse at the launching pad, getting rest or shower.

At night the team leisuring in living room but Raven spend her time in her room. But this time, Kori ask him to call her because it is the night of mandatory fun.

Damian keeping his composure, nodded and walked towards her room. He knocked three times, then he heard footstep walk towards the door. " What is it, Damian?"

Damian perhaps jolted a bit as he wonder how could she guess him but quickly discarded as he forget that she, is Raven who can read minds and an empath.

"Its Kori. She said it's Mandatory night." Damian simply state the business. Then he heard silent for a while.

"C-could you tell Kori that I'm not coming?" She spoke behind the door.

"I'll inform to her then." Damian nod and walk away. He inform to Kori about it.

"Ah, too bad. I wanted to show this new movie. Guess it's just us then." She smiled.

"I'm not coming too, Kori. I'm afraid if there's any emergency mission, I don't think she could handle it alone." Damian crossed his arms.

"Raven handle a case during valentine day when she was alone." Said Jackson as came up with casual clothes.

"Which she end up crying after she's back from the mission." Damian sneered at the Aqualad.

"I never knew Damian would care so much for a team mate or...are you planning something else?" Beast boy came up after putting his best clothes and his grin.

"Yes, I'm planning to take over the world, once you're back from outside please do inform me how it went so that I could proceed my plan." Damian said sarcastically.

"Ahah, don't worry, D. We'll buy something for ya." Wally pay on his shoulder.

"Just go." He shoved all three of them as Kori are about to leave the room.

Damian now at leisuring room playing cheesy Viking 3 console mode to passed the time. The tower really quiet as four of them gone out excluding Raven and he really appreciate the moment of silence.

Suddenly he heard a fridge door open. Quickly he put the game on pause, and went to the kitchen.

As he coming to the room he saw the girl with bob hair style with dual color hair consist of navy blue with manogany red ending.

' That's must be Raven.' his heart spoke. As he pulled the chair at the kitchen the table, the girl froze.

"Who's there?!" She spun and held her hand that enveloped with purple energy towards him.

Damian simply stood there and so was she.

Both of them froze.

A moment passed, then another.

And...

"You ... wear glasses?" He rose his brow.

Raven with sweaty face, blink a couple of times as she adjusted her glasses with her other hands.

"Damian, what are you doing in here? I thought you follow others to Mandatory day?" Her hands with energy start to dispersed.

"That explain everything." His lips tug aside.

"What?" Raven confused with the answer he gave.

" The book, the pose, the distance." He chuckled. Then, he looks at flustered Raven.

"What do you mean? you still haven't answer my question, Damian Wayne." Raven getting confused.

"Ah, nothing. I decided to stay just in case of emergency mission and all. I Wouldn't let you handle the cases alone." Damian crossed his arm as he sit at the kitchen counter.

"So...you're doubting me?" It was Raven turn arched her brow.

"I'm not saying you're not capable. I'm saying that you'll need some back up. Two heads are better than one, wouldn't it?" Damian lean back at the chair.

"Never knew you would thought of that, that's very kind of you." She smiled. " An improvement too."

Damian clicked his tongue and looked away, but pink tint start to visible on his cheeks and his ears. Ah, again with this feeling.

He clear his throat a couple of times, then a mug set in from of him. "Peppermint ice tea?"

His eyes looked at Raven as she seat in front of him, with glasses and book on her hands. The Flowers of evil, as he observed the title. "Thank you."

As he sip his tea, he stared at the book. "Flowers of Evil?" As he pointed at the book.

"Yeah, might try to read something like old poem." as Raven looked at the book title.

"I could recommend Robert Frost."

"I did read some of his. The Road Not Taken." As Raven sipped her tea.

"I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference."

Raven blink her eyes as she heard his recitation the last verse. "So, do you take it?"

"Take what?"

"The road less traveled by."

Damian looked at her. " This is the road less traveled by." He smirk as he sip the cup.

Raven try to understand that line but Damian simply silent. He's quite enjoy the company he's having now.

"All these time, I've been wonder what's with burying your face in the book." He rest both of his elbow on the table as well as his chin on his propped hand. " Never knew you were actually Four-eyes, metaphorically."

"Are you, mocking me?" Raven furrowed her brows as she put her cup on the table.

"I found you looks more professional in those glasses." He smirked as he stared at her which leads to Raven unknowingly adjusting her glasses as she looked away.

"The glasses is expensive. I lost mine as I bought to mission when I first join the titans, so I tend to leave it at room and I had to use some of my powers to adjust my visions."

"But you could heal them?" Damian's begun to curious.

"Only limited time."

"Did you know there's is laser treatment for that?"

Raven surprised as she heard it. She seems to be thinking but then she put down her cup.

"I'd rather wear glasses than risking my eyes to go blind." She sighed. "Unless I end up become Bran the third eye Raven."

Damian chuckled. She's indeed full of surprises.

"If you lost your glasses again, do tell me. I might know some excellent optometrist to do excellent job."

"Uh, n-no. You don't have to. I.."

"That's what team mate for right? Helping each other?" He smiled. A genuine smile.

She seems stunned by him. Smiling. Damian Wayne is actual smiling.

"Besides, you in glasses, is a rare opportunity and quite pleasant to the eyes." As he get up and goes towards the sink to wash his empty cup. At the corner of his eyes, Raven were blushed hard then adjusting her glasses.

Shit. He cursed under his breath. She IS adorable IN glasses.

Chapter 21

The next day

Shin min ah's p.o.v

It is Valentine's day and every couple are having fun and those who have crushes confess well except for me who has no date. We were on some Valentine's concert in which BTS were performing that day.

I couldn't stop thinking of what happened yesterday. Was he really asking me out? Isn't that question too much for me to answer?Why would he even ask me such question? Can't he make his own decision! Arasso date her but why wasn't I able to answer. I should have just tell him to date.

It's just that look he gave me, how could i have agreed while I like him. I just sat there thinking not realizing Tae was sitting next to me just staring at me..I was so suprised "ooh you scared me!" I got started as he laughed "mianhaeyo."

Looking at him now suddenly reminded me of what he said yesterday that he doesn't regret loving me. It looked very awkward for me because the mood suddenly became uneasy. " so done with the...concert?" I asked lessening the awkwardness.

"Ne, so about yesterday?" He suddenly squeezed getting right beside me making me feel nervous. " ne..ne yesterday?" " Did you meet up wit..aniyo forget it." He said as he removed his phone.

I managed to get a glimpse just then I saw my picture as his wall paper. He took out his ear phones and wore then as he listened to his music then he gave me one of the ear phones to share.

The music were really nice and calm. The others didn't arrive yet so I decided to listen to music with Tae as we waited for the others.

Tae's p.o.v

It was nice to listen to music together with her. I felt really calm and longing for it to last just then I realized she was asleep getting a hard time to rest her head till I decided to lean her on my shoulder, my heart was already pounding as I watched her face.

"Kyeopta." I found myself stroking her hair behind her ear. "But the more I keep seeing you makes my heart more greedy of you." I sadly sigh.

3 mins later the other boys arrived only to find the two alone in their waiting room. Min ah was still asleep leaning on v' s shoulder as v just sat there sharing ear phones with Min ah.

"Wow you guys totally look like a couple." J hope who blurted without thinking. This action made Jungkook even more jealous his friends realized this with the way he moves his tongue in his mouth out of anger.

Taehyung did not care with the angry look Jungkook gave them "I came here first and she was waiting for you guys s..." before Tae even finished talking Jungkook hurriedly grabbed Min ah by force waking the confused her from sleep taking her outside.

"Yah! What's wrong with you, how can you just grab me like that from my sleep." Min ah complained not realizing the hurt look Jungkook had " does it matter? Yah did you even see yourself? Are you doing revenge to make me look bad?" He cried

" Yah what did i do?! You confuse me even more." Min ah complained " you slept on Tae's shoulder!" "Mwo!, ooh my did I drool?" She panicked "I must have over slept while listening to music with him" Min ah explained making Jungkook even more jealous.

" what!? Why are you complaining or are you jealous?" Min ah chuckled as Jungkook just denied " yah how can i be jealous? I just don't like you messing with my friends." He said seriously scaring me hurriedly left.

"I wish you were." Min ah muttered watching him disappear the corner. Just then her phone rang it was one of her friends Go ara "annyeong what's up Go." She cried "party? Where?" "At my house? Yah wae didn't you inform me!" "Mianhaeyo we wanted to do a Valentine's party with our husbands and..." Go ara muttered "and what?" "We were thinking if you are able to bring BTS here mmh?" "Yah are you crazy why would I bring them? They have alot of schedule." "Ne can't you just try? They might agree." " yah Go ara th..hello?." "She even hung up on me? Stupid!" She cried getting everyone's attention.

Shin min ah's p.o.v

Have they gone out of their minds? How can i invite them at my party. If uncle realizes he'd kill me and the director would fire me right?

I walked back and forth thinking not thinking I would bump into Blackpink. They all stared me with anger shooting glares towards me as i apologized mostly Jennie. "Yah you did it on purpose, you know how much i got hurt." Jennie cried " mianhaeyo." I bowed but that woman never listened " I really hate seeing you here, why don't you just quit it's not that hard unless you wanna be famous through connections." Jennie spoke " what are you saying? I'm not even interested." She then got close and spoke to me " then stay away from my Jung if you don't want problems." She spoke bumping me purposely as they left.

I sigh giving up on inviting the boys to my party " well I guess they won't accept." I said to myself " won't accept what?" I heard a voice behind me realizing it was Tae.

"Ooh Tae it was nothing actually." I lied but he didn't believe me "yah u know it's a lie just tell me what is It?" He sincerely asked ad I decided to ask him "that's it" he laughed " why are you laughing?" I felt offended "mianhaeyo actually, i just laughed how a small thing like that can confuse you " don't worry about it we'll come I'll tell the boys." He said " jinja! Kumaoh." I cried happily.

Later

At my apartment

My friends had arrived and they brought some of their friends too. The room was really well organized with balloon and disco ball and alot of drinks with music.

" guys are you sure about this?" " yah Min ah don't get so scared this is the night where you really show us who you love out of the seven. We later stayed with the guy's awaiting for the guy's to come but not yet till some of my friends friend left. "Yah Min ah are you sure they'll come?" " ne i'm sure but I really did invite them." Just then I got a text from Tae and it said they won't make it since they had somewhere to go.

" Mianhaeyo they won't make it." I said as my friends became sad " it's okay as long as i friend is here with us... Lars party!!" The party girl Go ara cried as we began having fun.

Later

There was a door bell. Someone had arrived as Shin hye decided to go open. To her suprise it was The boys what were?, why? I had many questions but I let them go. My friends were all excited they couldn't stop staring at them. "Suprise! Mianhaeyo we lied we wanted to do it as a suprise." Jin said hugging everyone as my fellow girls couldn't stop.

The guys were laughing at how my friends were crazy fans. " we also brought groceries and beer just in case." Namjoon handed them in the kitchen Shin hye still did not believe if it was real. "Yah shin hye snap." I tried to awake her.

I went at the front kitchen as I watched all the guy's have fun and laughing. It made me really happy but Jungkook seemed to have not want to talk to me, just then there was another knock and guess what I never expected it to be black pink they all came which made it me even mad. "Its Blackpink! Yobo this is the best valentines ever!" Go ara cried.

"Jennie you are here?" I asked as she just stared at me then they all smiled " Min ah! You don't mind us joining at your party, dont you?" She grinned which I hated it, it was my house and I could just throw anyone out but I didn't want to look bad perhaps we may be good friends.

I went back to continue dealing with the food. Why did they come and how did they even know? I got mad at her seeing her go sit with kook. I felt angry and pissed off. They were smiling at eachother making funny jokes as if they were a couple.

"Are you going to kill someone with that?" I heard Lee jong suk. I felt really embarrassed as I laughed nervously realizing I was holding a knife still cutting the cabbages into pieces. "Ooh mianhaeyo..." I laughed at myself "you should be careful." He cried but then he grew close and "yah it's not to late to confess instead of standing there being jealous." He cried, it was true i was jealous but not sure of myself if it was The right thing to do.

"Kumaoh but I'm not jealous." I cried as he laughed and making me want to run and avoid his questions.

Everyone was having fun Min ah's friends were couldn't get enough of BTS and Black pink while some of them would play games. Min ah was all alone now in the kitchen she needed help but her friends were too busy to help her. She wished any of the girls could help her

Just then Tae appeared "can i be of help?" He smiled as Min ah hurriedly pulled him so that they can make kimchi and other stuffs. Tae could only feel a bit nervous since they were working together.

"Tae? Uhm you think I'll make the right choice if i confess to kookie?" Min ah gathered her courage and ask nervously Had who felt a bit disappointed "or just forget it" she chuckled embarrassed. "What do you think?" Tae asked back realizing their hands touched as they squeezed kimchi together but she hurriedly removed leaving the two in an awkwardness.

"Mia..." "..do you want to taste?" Tae interrupted holding kimchi to feed Min ah who just laughed in a fun way. Jungkook who saw the two feeding eachother became mad. He did not like it since she was smiling at Tae in lovely way "Wow the two really make a great couple...right Rosé?" Jennie who saw it two played these trick trying to win over kookie.

But Jungkook just got mad and left outside banging the door with anger drawing everyone's attention. Min ah could see this reaction but did not understand why.

Later

The food was ready and everyone was in a circle sitted ready to eat except the Blackpink did not eat since they were on diet. Jungkook came back himself right after the dinner was served. He went to sit beside Min ah who felt a bit nervous.

"Hey I have an idea, why don't we play son byung ho where the loser drinks this mixed beer" J hope cried mixing drinks as Go ara agreed and so as the others.

So the game started "for those who haven't married fold your finger." "For those who have married fold." They played till they all remained some with two, three "ooh gosh why only few." Min ah was worried and Jungkook who sat by her noticed "I can't really drink all that." She muttered.

"If you are still a virgin fold." J hope cried as others laughed and complained. Jungkook felt embarrassed he knew he would be laughed since all his hyungs weren't new to this things.

He was suprised when Min ah and some others fold their fingers "yah isn't this fair?" Tae, Jungkook and Jennie had three fingers left except Min ah who had two left it was now Jennie's turn "if you are inlove with someone from this circle fold." She cried.

Min ah's p.o.v

Ooh no every one had three and above fingers to fold except one of the Black pink Lisa and I now Jennie had ask another question. I prayed not to be among me but I guess not. Everyone was in an awkward situation looking if or anyone who was inlove with someone from the group.

I decided to fold cause it was true and to my suprise kookie also fold followed by Tae, Rose Jin and Jennie herself fold. It took everyone by suprise wondering who it would be "yah Jennie how can the owner of the question fold isn't..." Lisa cried but got interrupted "can't I stay true to my question?" She cried.

My heart was beating like crazy and just thinking how I stayed close to him. It felt really comfortable but I wasn't able to touch him? I felt too sad for myself stealing glances was all I could do but why did he fold his finger saying that he likes someone already is it Jennie? So far she's the only girl I know close to Jungkook.

I then realized I had one finger left and it was the end of me. " Ooh it's Jungkook's time." Suga cried "arasso....if you...you ever had a drunken kiss before fold." Just then no one looked like was able to fold which left me and Jungkook himself. I looked up at him then remembered about It, I wondered why did he bring it up and it was my last finger which left me no choice.

I was really screaming from inside why mixed? " Min ah lost, now she has to drink all the alcohol." I had Rose cry as Jennie supported "yah we already know she's going to drink." I wanted to move an excuse when they all started cheering "drink it up!×5...."

It was sooner all later I grabbed the whole some jug containing the beer as my friends cheered " arasso...here goes nothing." I lifted it to drink but just then someone hurriedly took the jug " I'll drink it." He raised his hand " i'm going to drink on her behalf." Kookie said making my heart ponder , I was really happy i didn't believe what he said so as the others " Wow you are going to be her dark knight, that's cool." J hope and others commented.

"You don't have...." " yah I'll take care of it." He firmly looked at me as he then started chugging the beer without stopping till he finished "wow you really drank it all though I was hoping for Min ah." Namjoon cried as the boys teased eachother.

"Kumaoh." I smiled at him but he looked back and drank a sip of water. " wae?" Jennie's drunken voice suddenly filled up the room when everyone was drinking " wae did you become her dark night? Can't you become mine ....I thought you cared about me.?" Everyone just kept staring at the two also trying to calm Jennie.

"Jennie calm down you are drunk mmh?" Her friends tried to stop her cause she started cursing which made some laugh at her but Jungkook's reaction was not okay. "Yah you said you didn't like neither of us but aren't your actions abit confusing?" She cried it was true he once said he doesn't love me but his actions always confuses me.

So that night later Blackpink all left home because of their drunken selve their van came to pick them up.

Jungkook's p.o.v

We were cleaning up with my fellow boys after Black pink left. My hyungs couldn't stop singing to karaoke songs and dancing druknly with Min ah's friends but I realized Min ah was not there.

"Shin hye!, where is Min ah? Have you seen her?" Well no but I think I know where she always goes." She said....I decided to go to the upper floor of the roof, it was really beautiful. A garden with sparkly light around them on top of the city and there she was on the bench sitting alone.

She looked really beautiful and pretty it made my heart sudden flutter with excitement. I got close and decided to sit next to her which I scared her " ooh gosh you scared me." She laughs at herself " can i sit here for a moment.?" I asked as she just looked at me with her pretty eyes.

"Ne." She nods i then looked at her she was holding a white cat on her lap. The cat was really cute " kyeopta." I smiled at her meaning her " right she's cute!" She said holding the cat on the air. " do you want to hold him?" She asked providing me the cat.

I was really not into cats it was Jimin's thing but since Min ah gave me I wanted to do it " where did you get It?" I asked " ooh i picked it, it looked really lonely soaked in the rain i couldn't leave the poor thing." She said as she still smiled.

I couldn't help but laugh " it kind off reminds me of you, really pretty and innocent." I said to her as she then stared at me. " yah...what are you saying?" She laughed it off trying to ignore everything I talk about i really hated that.

End of p.o.v

Min ah felt very awkward, embarrassed and nervous at the same time but she couldn't help but blush. She knew maybe it wasn't right so she tried pushing him away. Min ah was about to leave when Jungkook held her hand.

" You...why do you keep pushing me away?" He asked " did I do anything wrong to you?" He asked

Min ah's p.o.v

His eyes were tearly and red as he spoke. " I don't get why you keep making a distance with me? Is it worth It?" He cried making my heart more sad wondering if he was drunk or not." It is but it's nothing."

" why do you pretend knowing the fact that...I...i love you." He cried making my heart explode. I looked back at him and he realized what he had just said " sarangae Min ah...I've been waiting for a long time to shout this words to you but I didn't have the cour..."

He was about to finish the sentence but I interrupted him by shyly giving him a light peck on his lips. He was really suprised not expecting that from me " nado sarangaeo." I simply said with my smile on my face which he smiled back pulling me for another kiss. I could feel the hot burning sensation of our lips meet as he extended the kiss deep as our tongue touched and interlocked feeling each others hot sweet breath.

It was really nice as his hands where touching my hair from behind. I felt really embarrassed after we ended our kiss there smiling sweetly to me.

" yah you are making me more embarrassed." I cried childishly as he also couldn't help but smile. " kyeopta." He said holding my hands and before I knew it i had started a relationship with my star.
