daphnejonesricciardo it fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of speak now will be out july 7 (just in time for july 9th, iykyk 😆) i first made speak now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. the songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. i love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it. with six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, i absolutely cannot wait to celebrate speak now (daphne’s version) with you on july 7th.

Ah, now we’re really in the pining. Is there anything pining-er than the title of this song? The person is right there, and you want them, but you CAN’T TOUCH THEM. Or maybe you can, but you don’t know that yet, and you can’t tell if they’re suffering too or if they’re just going along carelessly without any idea what’s happening, happy to have a good friend while you’re dying inside.
To prove the piningness of the song, I’m just going to paste an excerpt of the chorus:
“Untouchable, burning brighter than the sun
And when you're close, I feel like coming undone
In the middle of the night, when I'm in this dream
It's like a million little stars spelling out your name
You got to come on, come on, say that we'll be together
Come on, come on, little taste of heaven”
(Honestly, this is most of the lyrics to the song. It’s pretty repetitive–but then, pining is too. No matter what you do and how you try to distract yourself, you keep running up against the same longing and the same impossibility.)
It will probably surprise no one to hear that we have a few more pining-themed songs coming up. This one ended up lower ranked than some of the others, in large part because it just doesn’t have as much content. It does, though, have one very fun extra element: “A million little stars spelling out your name” = soulmate ’verse??
Pairing I’d assign to this song: There’s a sense of distance and awe in this song that feels to me like an age difference. So I’m giving this one to Jeff Skinner and Eric Staal in Jeff’s first year on the Hurricanes. Let’s throw in the soulmate element, too. Jeff joins the team and is totally star-struck by Eric. A few weeks into the season, a soulmate mark shows up on his ribs: a constellation of stars. He’s so excited, thinking this has to mean that Eric is his soulmate. Who else has he met recently who’s affected his life this strongly? But Eric is getting out of a long-term relationship, and Jeff is such a baby, only eighteen years old. Eric would feel like such a creeper hitting on him. So even though he has a matching mark and has his guilty suspicions about who it’s for, he keeps it covered in the locker room and denies it when Jeff asks him. Jeff is devastated: he was so sure it was Eric, but he must have been wrong. He knows he has to move on. But no matter what he tries, he can’t get Eric out of his head. Eric even starts popping up in his dreams, shirtless with a constellation of stars on his ribs. Jeff knows it’s his crush giving him an overactive imagination–Eric wouldn’t have lied to him about his mark, right?–but he can’t stop wanting.

Tea Time! We *might* be getting Blank Space (Taylor's Version) on April 16th. Here's what I know for sure: On May 11th, we're getting a single. 1989 (Taylor's Version) is coming out on May 14th. Because 1989 came out in 2014 and was her 5th studio album. The same way 4/9 was chosen because, with Fearless (Taylor's Version), she now owns 4/9 of her albums. We're getting Speak Now (Taylor's Version) on July 9th. I do not know what's happening in June. Good job on the Coney ISLAnd tea, btw!

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas Masterpost (Toe/Jaylor)
Before dating (May 2008)
We start with the Taylor lookalike
In May 2008 the Jonas Brothers are filming their music video for Burnin’ Up [x]. Joe’s love interest in it is played by a blonde girl who looks quite a bit (and she’s also styled) like Taylor Swift, for reference, this is the music video that has Selena Gomez as Nick Jonas’ love interest.
As far as we know they hadn’t even met so we don’t know exactly what this was supposed to mean, maybe Joe had a crush on Taylor or maybe it’s a coincidence.
We do know that Nick and Selena were dating when this was filmed and that by the time the MV was released (July 4th, 2008) Joe and Taylor were officially dating.
Toe is alive! (July 2008 – September 2008)
On Tour
Fans claim to have seen Taylor around the tour in early July, which matches with Taylor’s lyrics in "Last Kiss".

On July 14th, Taylor and The Jonas Brothers perform “Should’ve Said No”[x] from her debut album, and this performance now forever exists in their 3D movie (a classic), a cute fact is that some fans have said that Taylor tripped when she first came out, so they had to repeat it for the movie.
On July 20th Joe flies to Wyoming to watch Taylor opening up for Rascal Flatts, and they flew back and she was spotted at the Omaha show.
She’s seen in a couple shows more and she joins the stage again for their Madison Square Garden shows in August [x]. They sing “Even now just looking at you feels wrong”.
They’re together but they’re not together.
For more context, we must remember that Taylor was a very new artist from a small label and The Jonas were pretty much at their peak and Disney’s biggest act, and they were managed like crazy and could never even think about being seen with someone in a romantic way. Any rumors were denied so fast, and Disney did the absolute most to keep it secret. So according to everyone they were just good friends, at the time both Taylor and Selena were annoyed by all the secrecy.
Now back to the timeline:
Taylor is backstage of the tour A LOT for the next couple of weeks right next to the other not-girlfriends Selena and Danielle.
She films a cameo for the “Love Is on Its Way” [x] video for the concert in New York. She was said to be only interested in hanging out with Joe and they were seen hugging *gasp* I know it doesn’t seem like much now but back then this was the hottest gossip and again the Jonas were not supposed to breathe near any human of the opposite gender.
Taylor and the Jonas were staying at the same hotel a bunch of rumors ensued, but I will not talk about the whole Olympics and Toe locking themselves in a room at midnight thing. If it’s real, we really needed to touch some grass and stop staying outside of people's rooms all night.
On August 17th Joe goes to Ryan Seacrest's show and denied that Taylor is his girlfriend in the best way a corporation like Disney can train you to deny something that’s true. Saying Taylor is “a great girl and I think anybody would be lucky to date her. I think anybody would love to go on a date with her.”
And Taylor tells People Magazine “He’s an amazing guy and anybody would be lucky to be dating him” Cinematic parallels.
Taylor is spotted in the back (in a mirror) of one of the Jonas youtube videos [x]. Basically, we all knew they were together.
The Central Park date (August 28th)
Now if you were a fan of either the Jonas Brothers, Selena, or Taylor you know this next part and it the iconic triple date of Central Park.
Again, this is kind of famous at this point and Selena has been quoted saying how awful it was because the boys were not allowed to be seen with them so they all went to Central Park (Selena’s first time in Central Park) and Taylor and Selena walked about 20 feet of distance from the guys so nobody would think they were together but we all already knew because it wasn’t like they were that good at hiding it and there are pictures of them together that night (the clownery of it all).
These backstage tour adventures are the reason Taylor and Selena are friends today and in Selena’s own words the best thing to come out of those relationships.
VMAs (September 2008)
With how many pictures of them together that night [x] [x] [x] exist you would think they had gone together as a couple but no just two besties! The 2008 VMAs are so the show where Russell Brand mocks the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings and Taylor publicly defends them.
Toe seems happy for the rest of September but as we know now the end is near.
The Break-Up (October 2008)
Social Media was different back then and Taylor did what every teen girl with a broken heart did in 2008 and she went to myspace with an edited post to make a statement about the Toe current situation.
Post-Breakup
The 27 seconds Joe Jonas will regret for the rest of his life.
Taylor went on Ellen and I don’t even think I need to say much this interview is THAT iconic she sat on that couch and told the world exactly how Joe had broken her heart in the following two quotes:
“There’s one that’s about that guy, but…that guy’s not in my life anymore unfortunately. That guy…that’s an ouch.”
“I’m not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18…it was like 27 seconds, that’s got to be a record.” [x]
She also went on Ryan Seacrest’s and when asked about the perfect guy she saw an opportunity and took it, saying “I used to always say sense of humor, but I think that it’s important to have the same kind of sense of humor. I have a really dry, sarcastic sense of humor and if somebody doesn’t think that my sense of humor is funny, then that’s not something that is good. Um, so sometimes you know, that can be a wrong match. If they’re not allowed to go in public with me, that’s sort of an issue too.” [x]
Bonus the amazing youtube video Taylor posted with Joe’s Camp Rock doll and how he comes with his own phone to break up with other dolls [x]. Taylor eventually went full out and cited Camilla Belle (then girlfriend of Joe) as the reason for the breakup. And you know someone at Disney’s PR office wanted to die when this was going down.
So finally, Joe was forced to acknowledge the whole situation with a Myspace post:
"I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful, but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me. For those who have expressed concern over the "27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. “
Forever & Always
Now this song is known as THE Toe song and it was born out of the end of the relationship when she felt Joe was getting distant, but she couldn’t do anything to help it, it was made really late into the production of Fearless so she had to rush to finish it in time (so no other breakup songs are about Joe in the original album).

In the 2009 Grammy's Taylor and Miley (insert The Ex-Girlfriends Club Theory here) performed Fifteen (obviously not about Joe) and the Jonas were in the audience. I believe this is probably around the time Taylor writes Mr. Perfectly Fine and You All Over Me, which we know get to have thanks to Fearless (Taylor’s Version) 13 years later.

In November of 2009, she also goes to SNL and mocks Joe in her monologue. "You might think I'd bring up Joe

To make things even more dramatic and very awkward The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift spent NYE together watching the ball drop on TV and this was probably not how they wanted to start their years. [x] [x] [x] and a video [x]
Now let’s discussed some of the songs that came out at the time. The Jonas response to Forever & Always was Much Better. Nick described it as a song that was very personal to Joe and Joe went on to say that it was based on his very interesting year. They also at some point wanted to pretend the song was about their love for their fans but come on. Joe also changed the lyrics from ‘superstar’ to ‘country star’ and later changed it to ‘movie stars’ when he broke up with Camilla who is the ‘Much Better’ girl from the song.

Taylor’s iconic response in Better Than Revenge seems to be more of an attack on Camilla. She’s spoken about her regret for this song since then and hasn’t played it in years and Camilla seems to be ok we never forgiving her for it [x] [x]. Regardless this song remains a staple of the genre ‘Feminism OFF, Bops ON’.

From the Jonas, the other song believed to be about Taylor is Paranoid (Lines, Vines and Trying Times).

This song would be a sister to Forever & Always since Taylor described both to be about a relationship that was fading in the end and that she was confused as to how they got there in the first place.
"‘Haunted’ is about the moment that you realize the person you’re in love with is drifting and fading fast. And you don’t know what to do, but in that period of time, in that phase of love, where it’s fading out, time moves so slowly. Everything hinges on what that last text message said, and you’re realizing that he’s kind of falling out of love. That’s a really heartbreaking and tragic thing to go through because the whole time you’re trying to tell yourself it’s not happening. Friendlier days are coming (2010- )
I guess time can heal a lot of wounds and Toe is seen hugging and on friendly terms at the Clive Davis party on January 31st of 2010 [x].
The world was so shocked when we realized that Joe went to see her perform in a couple of her shows in September 2011 [x] [x], and in here Holy Ground is born about her new evaluation of their former relationship rather than the bitterness of the breakup. The lyrics' secret message is “when you came to the show in SD” and the potential parallel to "Last Kiss".

From here they seem to be friendly and in May of 2015 after the Billboards. They even go on a double date later that year with Gigi Hadid, Calvin Harris, and Karlie Kloss (this picture feels so cursed). Nick and Joe get invited to Taylor’s 4th of July party and they seem somewhat distant after his split from Gigi.
Present (2020- )
In 2020, we got the amazing surprise of folklore with the song ‘Invisible String’ that makes a reference to Taylor’s past songs about exes being harsh and how she sent Joe and his wife Sophie Turner a present for their baby girl’s birth. In 2021, she has now released the re-recordings of Fearless and we are all reliving the drama and enjoying the chaos of Taylor’s and Sophie’s friendship not letting Joe know peace for those 27 seconds over a decade ago.

Hello my lovely blog readers,
I want to thank those of you who stick around through all my crazy rants and long Glee posts. You guys are the real MVPs and I will always appreciate you.
Anyway onto why we're here, in the wake of Taylor rereleasing her albums I found it fitting to take a look back at her discorgaphy so far! Thanks to my good friend Aly, I decided to relisten to all of her albums which the order was randomly decided. I will be talking about the deluxe editions so enjoy!
Let's start off with the first album that was drawn first which was Red.
One of my favorite albums right off the bat with probably her best album cover. I remember how excited I was for 22, mostly because my girl Dianna Agron's name was in the liner notes. Let's dive into what I thought now about 9 years later!

Overall I adore this album so so much. The only track I didn't care for in the least was The Last Time. I think you'll find a trend with me that my least favorite Tayor tracks tend to be her duets (the exception being Everything Has Changed which is also on this album and is the purest of all). The album has held up and even moreso I love it than the first time I listened. Crazy. Anyway onto the rankings of each song. Honestly I adore this album so much as a whole and ranking every song was so hard. Holy Ground honestly had a lot of potiental I hated the arrangement but if I heard an acoustic version I would be sold, much like State of Grace which I wasn't huge on the original but the acoustic I'm obsessed with. Moving onto our second album which is one of Taylor's newest.
folklore! Funny enough on first listen I wasn't as into it as everyone else was but trust me, the relisten definitely helped me change my mind. I also heard the lakes for the first time which I loved. Since it's the only bonus track I'm going to say I definitely wished it had made the main album over some of the other songs on it. Let's dive into my thoughts and rankings.

Okay I know cardigan and betty being so low is going make people unhappy but honestly I just loved the other songs better listed above it. So many gorgeous songs and a great era for Taylor. It's not my favorite era and still falls in my lower half of her albums but I can appreciate the tracks on it more than I did before with the relisten.
Now onto Taylor's most recent album which came up next in our randomization in evermore
Unlike folklore on original listen I absolutely adored this album and had it in my top tier Taylor albums but will that opinion hold up? Let's find out.

Okay let's talk about the relisten, it still held up but to me the one thing I didn't love about the album was the bonus tracks didn't add much to the original album so I kind of see why they were bonus tracks. I enjoyed the album none the less and I do think that most of my opinions are somewhat popular. I only see people being mad about 'tis the damn season being so low but honestly 1-11, I loved all the tracks so.
Up next is the rerelease that started it all, Fearless!
Now let's see after 13 years (hey Taylor's lucky number) if my opinion of this iconic album changed. Back in the day I was so obsessed with this album so let's see how I feel now!

I still remember when this album was first coming out how jazzed and excited I was for it. It was highly anticipated for me being that I had fallen in love with Taylor from her debut album and listening back it still holds up as one of my favorite albums. The only two tracks I wasn't into back then and still am not into are Tell Me Why and The Way I Loved You. Other than those two tracks the entire album is incredible to listen to. I'm so excited to hear Taylor's versions of all these songs and who knows maybe my mind will change on some of them.
Moving onto the next album to be randomly selected which is almost every Swiftie's favorite 1989.
Funny enough, originally this album isn't in my top favorites so who knows if my opinion will change on a relisten. Let's find out!

Okay listening back. I now get the hype behind it. Listening to it with bonus tracks honestly makes all the difference. No joke. It's a much better album with the bonus tracks added. Honestly if Wonderland and You are in Love were on the main album it would've been top tier to me. Thank God for the deluxe version but team Taylor what is up with you hiding some of her best tracks and only releasing them on the bonus tracks? I'm mad. Also speaking on Wonderland, I adore the song even without the rumours of it being about my favorite celebrity Dianna Agron. Had the bonus tracks been on the main album it would higher but as a whole I love the album.
And now for our next album, which is reputation!
This is probably Taylor's most controversial albums, some love it and some hate it. I actually am somewhere in the middle. I love some of the tracks while others I could've done without. Let's see where it goes for me listening back.

Okay I feel like my choices here are controversal especially Getaway Car being pretty low on the album. Honestly I liked the song just wasn't into the hype that everyone else said about it, sorry you guys. Also Dancing with Our Hands Tied on the ALBUM is my least favorie song. I absolutely adored Taylor's acoustic version that was in the rep Tour. Had she released that on the album it would be after Look What You Made Me Do. The arrangement on the album I just didn't care for and I prefer acoustic Taylor which I think a lot of you gather from my top picks.
Anyway moving onto to our next album that was randomized which is...Taylor Swift!
Ah yes the album that started it all. 15 years ago I discovered Taylor Swift via this album thanks to CMT. I was a huge country music stan back in the day who knew how this one album would lead to a career I've been following for 15 years. Now how does this album hold up? Let's find out!

This album still holds up 15 years later and made me so nostalgic. This had to be the hardest album for songs to rank thus far. Taylor hit it out of the park on her very first album crazy. She set the bar very high, funny enough it's the first album that a bonus track is my least favorite track but the entire album is a great listen, especially if you love country. It's very different from anything else Taylor did but that's what's so charming about it.
And now onto our second to last album which is another one of my favorites and the only album Taylor wrote fully on her own, Speak Now.
The album cover is up there with Red as my favorite and I'm excited to listen back to this album. I remember how much I enjoyed it when it was first released. Excited to see what I think 11 years later. Let's find out.

One of Taylor's absolute best albms and it was incredibly hard to rank these songs. I know people are going to be mad about Enchanted being low but I just didn't love it as much as the other tracks on the album, this after all is one of the best albums she ever released so it's incredibly hard to make the call.
Moving onto our final album which I've called my absolute favorite, Lover.
It's only been an year since its release but will it hold up as my favorite album? Let's find out!

Yep it held up. This album is my favorite thing Taylor ever released. It was a tough call because I loved all of her top albums so much. Miss Americana still is my favorite performance which is no surprise, I was obsessed when this song came out 2 years ago. It's Nice to Have a Friend is the weakest track on the album but by no means is it a bad track. The entire album is a great listen all the way through, the only song that's hard to listen to especially if you have a sick parent "Soon You'll Get Better" I literally bawled after I finished it. So if you don't want an emotional song that might make you sad, it's best to skip it even though it's one of favorite tracks.

i was kinda hoping we'd get speak now on july 9th because it's a friday 😂 plus my birthday's the day before. how are we thinking she's gonna announce 1989? i don't think she'd go on gma because it's too predictable like she knows we'll go wild if we see gma tweeting about her coming on. she might do a livestream im thinking like she did when it came out the first time? (i think that's how she announced 1989 idr)
your guess is as good as mine but i'm still leaning towards a GMA announcement to be honest. she's got a good solid promotion plan with fearless (taylor's version) that worked plus the livestream (which she did use for speak now, red, and 1989) doesn't feel very necessary to me.
also ! my gut tells me that we're getting speak now after we get red and i'm prAYING that we get red during the fall which means that speak now will be released in late winter or early spring. for me, this makes sense with how i associate her albums with certain seasons/months. speak now is a very late winter album to me

You Ok?
Having spent the entire day trying to absorb the album, it’s only now I can really start to talk about it. This album is everything to me. The original fearless album was the first CD I bought in woolworths, aged six, having saved my fifty pence weekly pocket money for what felt like an eternity and carrying them in a bulging knee length sock.
The CD lived in my dad’s car for nearly a decade. It was the background to all the highs - like the time we got Albie or when we went on a spontaneous holiday - but was also the shoulder to cry on during the extreme lows - when being fifteen was hard, when the bullies were waiting around the corner and when my heart was shattered so badly I thought it would never heal. Those songs never left me. They made me keep my crazy, and I’d even go as far as to say this album saved me.
February 2018. I was at my worst with my eating disorder and depression. It had been weeks since I’d gone to school, and I was like a shadow, hiding in my writing ten and avoiding all social interaction. Then, by chance, when my Dad took me to a counselling appointment, he put Fearless on and we both sang to You Belong With Me in the car. I came out the appointment sobbing, but I had smiled all the way there. Every time he took me, we would listen to the album, and it gave me hope that things were going to be okay when I needed it most.
Now, that CD lives in my own car. Ronnie - the legendary mini - has Fearless on repeat and nobody is ever allowed to change that. Through a car crash, to all the tears inflicted by A-Levels, I’ve always had this album to lean on. Going through the worst worst break up, I would get White Horse on and be screaming it at the top of my lungs as I drove down country lanes after dark. And then, as I put myself back together, I once more was looking hoping I’d be a princess and find my own love story. Maybe I’m doomed to forever be unlucky in love, but you know what, it doesn’t matter anymore. I’ve learnt to love myself and in my life I’ll do things greater than dating a boy on a football team.
Fearless (Taylor’s Version) has saved my life again. At the beginning of February, I was genuinely questioning everything in my life and whether or not I actually wanted to be here. I was living in hell. It was one of the darkest places I’ve ever been in. And then out comes Taylor, announcing the Fearless re-recording... suddenly there was clarity. I HAD to live. I couldn’t miss this. Decoding the message I saw April Ninth just like everybody else. And I thought, no matter how horrible life is, I’ve got to get to April 9th. I’ve got to hear this album for the first time again.
And this morning, I did. Waking up at the crack of dawn to sing and dance to my favourite album has reminded me of what I love about life. Taylor Swift constantly reminds me why we love and why we keep moving forward after loss... because that’s part of being human. She inspires me every single day to jump into life: headfirst, fearless.
So... when I post You Ok? I just want to say that I’m better than ever. This album gave me something to live for, on more than one occasion, and now I can’t stop living. It’s possibly the one album that has influence every aspect of my personality, and is always the album I come back to. Thank you always giving me something to live for, Ms. Taylor Swift. Your music has saved me from more than you could ever know ❤️

Zoom Party Night (Taylor’s Version) - the Zoom Party Night members are opening the room up to the public for the first time, and are so excited to host a night full of trivia, games, and music for the swifties that will be joining us! We will be listening to the album all the way through, stopping after every five songs to take a break and play different games and kahoots made by Fan to Band street team members. A sign up link will be posted at a later date.
on April 10th Fan to Band will be posting a video project based on the song “Fifteen” to showcase fans and share advice they wish they had heard when they were fifteen! if you want to participate, please fill out this form and submit a picture of yourself from when you were 15, at a Taylor Swift concert, or even a picture of you meeting Taylor herself! RED REVIEW
I don’t know I’m just in the mood. I’ve listened to all of Taylor’s song’s endlessly but what do I think of them now in comparison to when I first heard them. It’s also good bc I haven’t properly listened to this one all the way through for a while. I deleted a bunch of music from my phone to have space for pictures when I went to a concert back in May. And I’ve been listening to recent stuff recently (not just Taylor). But this also makes it better…bc I feel like you can appreciate music even more sometimes when you haven’t heard it in a while
Anyways longest intro ever, I am pressing shuffle and to the music we go
Maybe one of the reasons this is the first album I feel like doing this with is because it’s fall and its gorgeous outside and ofc RED is the autumn album.
1st Song Holy Ground:
I have to pause this immediately because I find this ironic - the rumored person that this song is about is everywhere on social media right now (congrats on your engagement). This song grew on me (to have background on me I LOVE slow songs so certain fast songs can take a while to grow on me…this was one of them). This one has a good beat to it.
I think I like the song best starting at the second verse, and the line “Spinning like a girl in a brand new dress” FAVORITE PART. You know this song got me dancing in my bed right now.This is the song when you have a bad day and you just need to let it go - this is that song to go to.

Song 2 Everything Has Changed:
My heart - It has melted and the song hasn’t even started. I remember when we saw the photos of them working together and I freaked out. Their voices sound so good together. The lines about the walls always stick out and I don’t know why and now it’s also making me think about cold as you. *Bridge starts* *Rolls eyes back* there’s no much to say about this one. It’s just beautiful. Well written, beautiful music, simple, a wonderful feeling. (Which I can not relate to lol I haven’t liked someone in like 4/5 years what) but still amazing
Song 3 - Sad, Beautiful, Tragic:
Wow soo beautiful. FUn fact senior year of high school I auditioned with this song to sing as a solo during our choir concert. I didn’t get a solo, which was fine with me but I was proud I went up and auditioned (I was so sick during this time too so I don’t know how on point my vocals were - they were probs fine but nothing spectacular) afterwards one girl was talking to me about Taylor and it made both of us happy.
Another one of my favs. I feel like this one is underappreciated. I don’t know how to describe any of my favs atm wow I suck at this. I love the feel of the train at the beginning. The feeling of coming and going.
Distance, timing, break down, fighting… silence - wow. When it was there the lyrics really were a masterpiece on this album. Her voice is so soft on this song. When I think of this song I think of a letter, antique video playing of the amazing times, but also the emptiness in the goodbye.

a good song I sometimes forget about. "Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes... when I see it all in my head BURNING RED LOVING HIM WAS RED OH LOSING HIM WAS BLUE LIKE I NEVER KNOWN..." THE BEST PART
6th - State of Grace:
an amazing song to start the album with. (Why am I blanking did she open with this during RED - my mind blanks the most on the RED tour). The LYRICS. The build-up. (How do I describe what I see in my head) it's almost like an Ariel shoot?? Surprisingly the second verse is my favorite part of this song - the lyrics. "Mosaic broken hearts". The bringer was still amazing tho.
7th The Last Time:
I'm listening to this. I've always liked the last time, it has a good rhythm to it and I always enjoy singing it. But it's very different than her other songs which I've seemed to forget. This song is SOFT but it also has a build to it which if your heart broken you can scream along to this. THIS IS THE LAT TOME IM ASKING YOU THIS. Girl move on he doesn't deserve you. You should always be there if he cares. RIP. That's when you know you're losing someone. I'm realizing right now that this album has the most collabs too I never thought of that before. I think bc I always think of ed first but even so, I feel like her collabs on her albums are different than when other ppl have collabs on their albums.
Wow, Treacherous came on and for a second I thought it was state of grace again... 😧. This was my og FAV. ALSO, HER OUTFIT EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BEING PERFORMED WAS BEAUTIFUL. Girl at home: if I'm being honest this is one of my least favorite. Lyrically I'm like 🙃. Musically it's fine. I think it's just not as deep as I would like. Would group with speak now bonus tracks which aren't my fav either. But it's also something about the word stupid. Idk there are certain words in songs. Then again the moment I knew says birthday and I enjoy that song. Idk. Lesson learned ofc is my fav part.

MY FAVORITE SONG OFF THE ALBUM. I don't know what about this song it's so pretty. This is falling in love in the cruelest way ughhh. I think it's a combo of probs the guy I liked in high school. Harry. The music in general. Her voice. Idk all of it. But it tends to fall behind enchanted when I think of my all time fav tay songs. Idk I just REALLY REALLY RWALLY EEALLY LIKE this song
The Moment I Knew:
This song is raw. You get a very clear picture of what may have happened. And you're just sad for Taylor. This is one of those moments when you don't want it to take over you but you feel like everything has shattered. I imagine her spinning around, everything is spinning and everything is crashing because she can't find him. This album really is all over the place. With the styles. The things you forget when you listen to it all together for the first time in a while. I tend to shuffle all of her songs. Or the albums I was listening to during the summer were 1989 and fearless on shuffle.

I need to watch the RED tour footage of this bc I can only partially remember it and I feel like it needs to be appreciated. This has always been a mid-tier song
Begin Again:
always one of my fav. Slow, but this one is happy. AlsoCAN WE TALKABOUT THE PURPLE DRESS BECAUSE THAT WAS GORGEOUS. This song is also growth in Taylor like she's able to start moving on and there's this beautiful new hope. Regardless if she dated this guy anymore.

14th- We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together:
probs my least fav music video BUT I LOVE how it was filmed. Weeee---ee the best part. "Like ever" "with some indie record that's much cooler than mine" and ofc the talking part during the bridge all good lines. This was one of those songs. Love it or hate it it's stuck in your head and you low key like it. I like how raspy and deep the end gets.

I need a moment of silence. And the FULL version of the song. The B asEST song off the album. Beautiful. Grammy performance SPECTACULAR BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL HEARTWARMING. AND HER DRESS GORGEOUS. WOWOWOWOWOWW The most autumn song on the album.
I Almost Do:
I think when this first came out that I struggle between which I liked more I almost do and all too well. Now it's no question. But again. A. Goood. Song. Just not as complex.,, I like the line never ever occurred to you bc wanegbt.

For whatever reason, I always group this song along with stay stay stay and The Lucky One and out of the three this one is my favorite. Good beat. Happy.

Not my favorite. I like that it has a country vibe. I feel like similar to girl at home, it’s not as complex as I would like it. With that said we have “self-indulgent takers.” The grocery line always sticks out to me. If I’m in the mood its happy bop. The bridge - again is my favorite part
