⭐️ I realised as I posted this that I’ve just reached 100 followers! 😃😍 So, welcome to my 100 followers celebration 🫶👏🥂 It seems appropriate to be posting a @steddiemicrofic for this, as the first writing I shared was for the first microfic challenge, thanks in no small part to the support and encouragement I received from the organisers, so thank you ⭐️

For the @steddiemicrofic November prompt ‘Rest’

WC: 387 | Rated: M | CW: Upside Down, injuries/blood, implied character demise, I made myself cry writing this, make of that what you will | Tags: Steddie, Steddie microfic, Upside Down, love confession.

Steve skids to a halt next to Eddie’s unmoving body, scanning him quickly, not knowing where to even start, deciding the huge gash on Eddie’s neck is as good a place as any and placing some of the cloths he’s brought from Eddie’s trailer on the gaping wound.

Eddie stirs a little, groaning.

“Oh, thank fuck, man, we thought we’d lost you.”

“Harrington? What the fuck?”

Eddie’s voice is hoarse and cracking.

“Don’t talk, man, save your strength.”

Steve bundles more rags against the gashes in Eddie’s side and chest.

“Can you move?”

He tries to help Eddie sit up, but he wails in pain.

“Okay, you’re not getting up just yet.”

“Steve, just sit with me, yeah? Lemme get my strength back.”

He pauses a moment.

“Cheer me up? Tell me a secret, a real Harrington doozy.”

Steve clears his throat.

“Well, I have a secret crush. Is that enough for ya?”

Eddie manages a weak smile.

“That’s perfect. Watcha got, big boy?”

“Well, it’s a guy, and I haven’t known him all that long. He’s cute, funny, super-smart. Caring, loyal to a fault. And right now? He’s actually kind of a hero…”

“Oh yeah? Doesn’t sound like anyone I know…”

Steve looks Eddie dead in the eyes, replying, softly,

“No? I think you know him quite well, actually.”

Eddie swallows, eyes searching Steve’s face.

“So you see, I’ve gotta get you outta here. I want you to know the person everyone sees in him that he can’t see in himself.”

Eddie grabs Steve’s hand, and Steve grabs back, responding,

“I’m gonna get you outta here, man.”

Eddie moves to sit up again, but only manages to raise his torso a couple of inches before he slumps back, the cloths on his sides turning redder and his muscles refusing to comply.

“Hey, take it easy, don’t try to do too much at once, okay?”

Eddie replies,

“I’ll be fine, man.”

But Steve knows Eddie will not be fine. Eddie grip on Steve’s hand is weakening, and the wounds on his chest are leaking more blood.

“Eddie, I’m gonna carry you.”

Tears streak Steve’s face, clearing wet rivulets through the grime.

“Nah, Steve, just gimme another minute.”

His voice is thready and his breath is becoming shallow.

“I need a rest, man. I just need to rest…”

idc what anyone says— bakugo is one of the best characters that has amazing character development

as someone who can relate to having a god complex and thinking everyone’s below them (not anymore with the help of therapy) it’s hard to acknowledge someone else being better than or stronger than you

that shit takes a lot out of you but katsuki bakugo has grown, learnt his mistakes and is now trying to right his wrongs

character development at its finest 👏🏽

I finally got to play the Ghost Marriage event and all I can think of was: 👏Brides👏maid👏Raven-San👏 throws the bouquet of flowers to distract Eliza!(may or may not hit someone in the face with the bouquet) Catch’s the bouquet at the end of it!

I hope you had fun playing Ghost Marriage (or “The Phantom Bride”, as EN calls it! ^^

dbjssbjendnd I do wonder what Miss Raven’s up to while the ghosts are taking over campus and preparing for the wedding… Probably trapped in some office filing incidence reports to document what’s been happening, and praying that no one dies because imagine having to explain that to then parents/guardians.

Maybe when Crowley’s getting desperate he yanks her out and says she should infiltrate as a bridesmaid and change out the regular ring for the ring of severance 😂 “… I’d obviously stick out like a sore thumb, being the only non-ghost in the wedding entourage.” “We won’t know until you try!!” Maybe her vignettes can be about singing to the local birds to convince them to help her make her bridesmaid outfit, since Sam said in the event he was all out of stock for wedding items. Then when she crashes the wedding, everyone’s surprised she’s there at all but Raven just complains that she’s overworked and she has to stop this wedding because otherwise the Shroud family might sue NRC into the dirt and that would just be a legal nightmare for her to help the headmaster deal with…

jdjsvsiwkwhdh Maybe she can team up with Ace and talk some sense into Eliza, since Raven understands both sides: the young and naively optimistic love that Eliza has hope in, and the more realistic kind of love that Ace speaks of; the kind of love where your partner isn’t perfect, but is willing to be a work in progress with you. Raven has experienced both kinds, so I think she’d have a lot to say on the matter. Or maybe she just smacks some ghosts around and tells the boys off for making more trouble for her to clean up 🧼 She throws the bouquet at the end and it smacks [redacted] in the face… Use your imagination to insert any character of your choosing into the redacted part 😂

I sketched my own concept for Bridesmaid Raven @w@ but I was half awake while doing it, so the design’s kinda sloppy and could be more coherent 💦 but I figured I’d share anyway! Since a bridesmaid usually complements what the bride wears, I wanted a blue dress with white and gold accents to contrast Eliza’s mostly white outfit with some greys. The clothing also borrows from part of Eliza’s own sleeves, the flowers in her veil, and how the hem of her gown transitions into something floaty.

I think your version is different, but it has its own charm. It definitely has more of a “Raven” than an “Eliza” inspiration, especially with the short gloves, feathered sleeves, and the shorter skirt. I like the addition of the headband to replace her usual hat; her head looks a little empty without an accessory there, huh? djvsjensksev I’m not sure if I entirely understand why Raven is crying in the second image, but at least she’s being comforted sooo 🤔

I just want to quickly advise! 💦 Please ask in advance if it’s okay to create a piece of media with your OC interacting with someone else’s! Not everyone may be comfortable with a person they don’t know that well making their OC(s) engage with (likely) an OC that they also don’t know that well 😅 It’s just something to keep in mind for the future!

im a librarian, I would love to write a book someday but I'm lazy and anything I've tried to write has sucked ass lol. I particularly enjoy gothic literature. I legitimately believe music is one of God's greatest gifts, like hello-Ray Charles, FATM, Nightwish. I listen to all kinds of music, love love love jazz and blues and cutesy 40s music. Kylie Minogues album 'disco' is everything! I also adore tøp!! as mildly embarrassing as this I truly believe marshall mathers (yes em lol) is a literary legend-his command of words like honestly bravo 👏 although for some lyrics I do have to take my earphones out cuz I don't particularly wanna hear some of that, yikes sir, also somehow he kinda feels like a comic book character. I enjoy comics too mostly batman because of watching btas as a kid I just get comfort vibes from anything batsy related.

I collect vintage clothing, I adore the 20s/30s hair and fashion although the only vintage hair I can do on myself is 40s pin curls but I got some wave combs to practise 20s finger waves. I like a lot of varying fashion, some style icons are Judy Garland, Morticia Adams, 60s Barbra Streisand and Ana Taylor Joy that one time she wore that vintage 20s wedding dress she looked like an etheral undead princess it was so cool!

Hobbies are reading-mostly fanfic tbh Sewing/Embroidery, I really wanna learn dress making but I suck on a sewing machine, late evening walks alone, drinking tea and daydreaming, rewatching comfort things like b99, Gotham, Penelope, Ice Princess, Sabrina, BTAS- I don't really do much tbh I'm pretty boring, free time outside work is spent either alone with music or hanging out with my family

I have said a whole lot of nothing but hopefully you can scrape a ship out of that

Oh also, I would ship you with the 13th Doctor, Sam Wilson, & leonard mccoy (apologies if you don't like any of those characters, I was going off of vibes)

Ok I kinda have two but automatically I went to Wanda (the other was Bucky). I think she'd think you're super cool and would absolutely adore listening to you talk about books or music. She'd absolutely help you expand your vintage fashion collections and would help you learn more vintage hairstyles and even let you practice on her. She'd love to curl up next to you as you did any of your hobbies and would actively take an interest in them as well. I just picture her with a huge smile on her face all of the time.

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

Oh far too many. Honestly the patterns come and go depending on whatever I'm reading and you can definitely see that reflected in my fics lol. Honestly one of the bigger patterns you can pick up on in my fics is how characters are affectionate w each other. I tend to recycle certain ideas too

39. What’s your favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

Finally being able to put that one specific scene into words/into the fic. When you have one scene for a fic you've been brainrotting over and you can flawlessly put it into the fic? Good shit right there!

Tango had the passing thought to treat Jimmy like the masterpiece he was and pin him to the wall along with the other paintings.

It was only a passing thought, but Tango's brain had grabbed it as it walked by and now it was the only thing he could think of. He felt himself blush, but kept calm.

Tango thinks Jimmy would look nice pinned to the wall. He was certainly pretty enough. And if Tango could be handsy, find out what spots make Jimmy crumble...

Tango sucked in a breath, feeling like he'd lost all his, and shivered. His skin prickled under his clothes.

Soft tops honestly. I also really like just slow gentle smut :) like yeah the rough shit is good but soft tops?? We need more soft tops 👏

65. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

I have a lot of wips rn and I'm excited for all of them to be finished and published whether they go here or AO3. One thing I'm excited to start actually writing is one of my BoP spinoffs, the one where Jimmy gets to be a menace >:) Excited to write that and also see your reaction bestie :D

ya know those types of dads your friends crush on? that's atsumu. whenever he picks up your daughter from kindergarten after training, your child is always surrounded by a mob of girls from her class - some were even from the higher grade levels 💀 they'd squeal so loud when they spot your husband's sports car come into view, making your daughter think he's their dad. they would even gossip about how lucky you were, to have been married to the blonde and how you're probably not even that pretty 🙄 atsumu would be nice to these girls - thinking they were d/n's friends, while they were obviously only being chummy with you bc ur dad was a pro athlete. so d/n couldn't help but throw a dirty smirk their way when her dad carries her and gives her a kiss on the cheek. d/n's not sharing lol

bonus: imagine the look on those girls' faces when both you and atsumu pick up your daughter the next day. they thought u were a literal mowdel cuz u hot sis 💅 #powercouple

perfect husband? mhmm. loving father? oh yes. i see osamu as the family type of guy, who's a super chill parent but isn't lacking in the disciplining department. he's fully aware of the spats he and tsumu had when growing up, so he knows how important it is to be fair in everything involving his twin girls. they want the same toy? samu will buy another one. a twin gets something the other doesn't? daddy osamu to the rescue. what he does have trouble diving equally however, is his attention. to your dismay, both of your girls are daddy's girls - and they'd always argue about who gets to his on your husband's lap, or play with his hair, and even help him make meals. it's exhausting, but your husband wouldn't want it any other way. they're his girls after all, but it doesn't help the fact that you sometimes compete with your kids over his attention lol.

your husband and daughter drive you insane. they're like the exact same person who honestly share the same brain cell. all they do is nap, nap, nap - and you guessed it! NAP 24/7 while you're left doing all the chores. bless ur poor back 🥲 you were pretty sure the both of them have atleast ten hours of sleep at night, sometimes a bit less for rin whenever he games with the miyas, but they always seem to be so tired. it also doesn't help that your husband is absolute trash at telling d/n off, so you're left to do all the disciplining. making you the "evil" parent while your daughter sees rin as her saviour. everytime there's an issue, it's always 2 against 1 (ur the minority babe) and you've had enough! when u start ignoring the both of them and giving them the "passive aggressive" treatment, u bet they got their act together and are now at your beck and call 😌

✵ oikawa

another one who just can't say no his darling princess 😔 oikawa would spoil your daughter rotten, to the point where it becomes too much. anything she demands, he hands it to her on a gold platter. clothes, jewelry, toys, electronics, and even her own debit card 💀 (may i remind u d/n's only 6) it's gotten to the stage wherein your daughter was growing up to be super stuck up and over her head. you tried putting her in her place, but the brat doesn't listen to you. lol she doesn't even listen to her father. but to be fair, oikawa doesn't even try scolding d/n, all she has to do is whine and throw out her puppy dog eyes and all is forgiven. but u know who can put your daughter in her place? uncle iwa-chan ✋ both your husband and d/n literally line up saluting whenever iwa comes over - courtesy to your invitation of course. after a few whacks to oikawa's head and a firm talking with d/n, the house 👏is 👏 in 👏 order👏 .... until they get sloppy and u call iwa again.

finally, somebody you can actually rely on 💀 Iwa's the ideal father figure, and any offspring of his can easily pass for a veteran's account. as ive mentioned in oiks's hc, iwa's an expert at dealing with spoiled children and adults so it's practically a given that he'll be the one doing most of the correcting when it comes to handling d/n. babe's a brat magnet i swear since this is iwa's child we're talking about, your daughter doesn't even have tantrums, even if she doesn't get what she wants. d/n's respectful, obedient, and everything oikawa's child isn't lol. despite being stern though, iwa's really soft with his family. he does d/n's hair and picks out her outfit for pre-school. after picking her up, he'll sometimes take her out for ice-cream, or if she does especially well in a test, he'll reward her by getting her something he knows she would like. 10/10 father material 🙌

good luck to d/n cuz this one's the type to embarrass his kid in front of other people. ya know those parents that demand a kiss when dropping off their kid? hm yup, this is kuroo. when his daughter refused to, man literally followed her outside and it's like time legit stopped when he dramatically called out d/n's name. other kids started whispering, so sucking up her pride, your daughter quickly gave her dad a kiss on the cheek, and turned to leave. but being the annoying piece of *censor* kuroo is, he turns her around and asked her to kiss his other cheek too cuz "it's not fair." ... yo, d/n's so done rn ✋ it's her first day of kindergarten and her dad's already messing it up. as well all know, kuroo's a dorky man, so yes - expect the dad jokes 💀 he thinks he's so smooth, and d/n actually asks you if you regret marrying him. on the contrary, your daughter is very, very, very smart. she memorized the entire periodic table, knows how to explain the concept of acids and bases, reads about chemical reactions, and listens to chemistry podcasts. all at the tender age of seven years old 💅 so in a way, she does take after your husband.

that really fun dad every kid is jealous of. bo would be a very affectionate father, always squishing d/n's cheeks or spinning her around the living room. it's so precious how he loves showing your daughter off to his teammates, and buying her souvenirs from the places msby travelled to. they'll have this best friend dynamic where you're the third wheel 🤡 that doesn't mean they don't love you though! because they fight for your affections like all the time. like, if they went out somewhere together and you stay at home - they'll make it a race to see who could get to you first when they come back. they'll be such babies about it technically d/n is a baby, and bo's considered one too rip expect these two to always been hugging or whining for your attention. it's all fun and games until one of them becomes emo tho. yup, it runs in the blood so d/n inherited your husband's ridiculous mood swings. if one of them is in a bad mood, the other one who will quickly follow. ur starting to think it's a disease 💀 better have akaashi on speed dial 📲

he's super observant! he knows everything there is to know about d/n. from the curl of her hair all the way down to what shoe size fits her. he knows right away if something's wrong, so of your daughter comes home feeling sad, but tries her best to smile, believe me - he knows. sakusa wouldn't confront her about it head on, but would gently coax d/n into confiding in him herself. he understand how important space and patience is, so he implements this in his parenting. once d/n tells him about what's bothering her, he'll listen quietly to what she has to say. your husband may be the silent and aloof type, but you and your daughter bring out a completely different side to him. a side nobody thought even existed, so consider yourself lucky.

the type of dad that goes, "go ask your mother" whenever his daughter asks him for permission for something. dads are honestly more lenient than moms, so your daughter always goes to your husband first whenever she wants something, and this man - after being duped by d/n so many times before finally learned how to take a stand. little does your poor husband know... whenever she wants chocolate at night, or wants to stay up passed her bedtime she asked ushijima and when he'd bring up whether or not d/n's asked you for permission, she lies and says you have. toshi, oh poor, poor toshi, doesn't believe his sweet pumpkin to be a liar so he believes her 🥲 that is, until you arrive home and demand an explanation for all the mess.

How did you find out about anime?

My gateway anime was Pokémon when I was but a young bean; saw it on tv and proceeded to collect the cards and even had a massive poster showing All 150 Pokémon (back when I thought ‘wow 150 Pokémon is so many!’ HA)

The first anime I really got invested in beyond my childhood years was Bleach. I’d been browsing cartoons on a certain website and noticed the background of said site said ‘Bleach’ and had some characters in an art style I liked the look of, in particular a girl wearing a cool skirt and boots, (who turned out to be Orihime) so I looked it up and promptly got hooked. And that is how Kubo’s flair for drawing fashion got me into his fighting anime.

What’s your favourite anime?

Surprisingly not Akagami no Shirayukihime! 😂 ANS is soothing and fun to watch but I prefer the manga in general, and my favourite anime at the moment is Akatsuki no Yona! I just love the story with all its intense drama, interesting characters, laugh-out-loud comedy and investable and humorous romance, (despite the occasional cringey moments 😂) and I’m a sucker for ‘adventure road trip’ stories where the characters find themselves and others along the way~~ Yona’s character development is *chef’s kiss* and also the animation is great! It has some excellent fight scenes in moody lighting which is exactly my jam👌 the type that have you on the edge of your seat and give you chills 💯👏👏

Do you have a favorite J-music/K-pop group/singer?

No, I haven’t listened to any I’m afraid 🤷

When is your bday? And how old are you?

Just turned 27 on the 27th of February, feels like it should be a lucky year since that’s my birth date, no?

I love all my OC's equally and I could never choose a personal favorite Astra and Corrin

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

Maybe Camila. I don't give her a lot of love so I think she deserves to be more known

I don’t know if this counts, but Astra’s a pretty close OC that I have. With all the remaking and revamping (and renaming), it kinda feels like the two of us grew up together. (If anyone’s interested in seeing what she looked like before I can try and recreate her old designs. I don’t remember where I (or my family) kept my old designs of her)

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

Maybe Flos. I feel like we could get along better than some of my other OCs. Either her or Reyna

Lily and grown up Astra. And no, I will not explain (at least on here)

Long hair, apparently XD. Long and loose hair? I’ll try to design a character with short hair, but then it gets longer and longer to the point its not even short anymore😅

They’re cute? I try to make them cute at least. Their sense of fashion? I don’t know if that’s just me though ^^;

I don’t know what to talk about, so I’m just gonna bullet point some facts that a Spin-the-Wheel is picking for me XD (And in case anyone’s wondering I’m using this prompt as a reference)

Astra’s favorite color is blue/indigo, Melodi’s favorite color is red/pink, and Corrin’s favorite color is yellow

Hana likes wearing sweaters and crop tops, and she’ll always wear her headphones, no matter what. Mori doesn’t really like wearing frilly clothing, but she does like wearing coats.

When Lily first met Camila all she wanted was to get away from her. Lily wanted nothing to do with Camila for a good amount of time. Now, in their current situation, Lily’s pretty much joined to the hip with Camila. (Good or bad, that’s no longer Lily’s opinion to make)

Flos, Reyna, and Kaian love looking at the stars during the night, but Reyna and Kaian can’t really see them anymore because they live in the city Frei and Marak prefer living life during the day. They’re not to interested in what happens during the night. Campa doesn’t really care about the time of day, to her its all the same sights
