I see that everyone draws Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie as humans, that is, as real boys. But mostly it's either the classic version or the Ducktales 2017 version and to be honest, most of them are great. But I wonder what Huey, Dewey and Louie from the Quack Pack would look like as humans, that is, as real boys. Or it seems to be mission impossible since they are too perfect anyway, I think they would be drawn as humans. Again, that's just my opinion.

Darkwing Duck and Duck Avenger (PKNA) with their families as superheroes in action (redraw) - Darkwing Duck, Duck comics and Quack Pack AU - Duckverse - Happy my birthday!

I haven't contacted you for a long time because of my problems, but here I am to say that the day has come, that is, today is my birthday (5th April). Yes, I celebrate the same day, when Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, the best manga and anime for me, was born on this day. Certainly a big thank you to him for that!

Well, considering that most people don't know about it, I'm going to publish my tribute, i.e. a redraw of my drawings and that I drew what I like the most. This is a redraw of an old drawing where I drew Duck Avenger (Donald Duck) and Darkwing Duck (Drake Mallard) together in action along with their wives, partners and their children as superheroes. By the way, it's part of my fanfiction that I'm currently writing and it's about that crossover between Duck Avenger and Darkwing Duck. Yes, Drake and Donald have similar personalities and have the same angry jerk ego that puts them at odds together (and I love that), but they are also great superheroes and protect their towns (Duckburg and St. Canard) from various villains. And then there's Morgana Macawber, a witch from Transylvania and sometimes Drake's love interest who mostly deals with magic, Daisy Duck as She-Wenger (Paperinika, Super Daisy) as a special version, Uno (One-Uno Ducklair A.I. duck who helps and tasks Paperinik ), Launchpad McQuack, Gosalyn Mallard as Quiverwing Quack (yes Gosalyn is a teenager here and is the same number of years as HDL) and of course Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie (they are teenagers as from Quack Pack) as T-Squad superheroes (my version). Huey is the Red Shadow, Dewey is the Blue Cyclops and Louie is the Green Avenger. Similar to the old drawing, but significantly modified which I did in my own ways by combining various styles into one. I hope you like it! I started in a new job, and is really time consuming. That's why I couldn't think on anything to celebrate the triplets.

So, I'm only going to said that HDL are so important to me, I can't even begin to describe the love I feel for them.

When I started DT17, I couldn't know what a huge impact it would have on me. It made me want to write again, it gave courage to join the fandom something I never did before.

And none of this would have happened without characters like HDL. Their personalities, their charisma, their virtues and flaws, all combined to make this triplets that I just adore. They're the best.

I love you guys, to the moon and back.

Hi! I was looking through Magica De Spell’s Wikipedia page today and it says that Magica has a sister named the Wicked Witch of the West, who has children named Witch Child and Warlock. I couldn’t find any information of them online so I was wondering if you knew anything about them, if they exist at all.

If they don’t, do you think you could instead do a character post on Magica’s cousin Matilda? Your old family tree posts helped me a lot in understanding Duck lore.

Aw I'm glad those posts help!! I'm still down for making them 'cause it's a lot of fun for me to find old comics and do some research.

So before I talk about Witch Child, I wanna clarify some things that are relevant to the character.

This is another case where Americans can't stop themselves from taking "sister" and "aunt" literally. Aunt can be used to refer to any older woman in someone's life. Sister is frequently used in stories about witches (because a coven is like a sisterhood/sorority, it's a whole thing). Neither imply blood relation! Even "cousin" is often used to refer to friends/neighbors. Different cultures and languages treat words like that very differently than Americans do.

Witch Child, Warlock, & Witch of the West are all from a very specific time period of Brazilian duck comics where Magica and Madam Mim (from The Sword and the Stone) were living together/dating/???? and interacted with other Disney movie characters. In this specific timeline, the ducks live amongst regular humans which is very strange but you just gotta accept it. Magica also lives in Duckburg I think? It seems like she and Scrooge just run into each other randomly so I believe she and Mim have a house in Duckburg for whatever reason

"Witch Child" is not her name and I don't know why she's referred to like that on InDucks/other wikias. Her name in Brazil (where she was created) is Magali, in Italian she's Maghetta/Maghina/Streghella (inconsistent names in translations are very common), and in French she's Seraphine. None of her comics have an official English publication so again idk where "Witch Child" comes from! But I'll probably refer to her as Streghella for the remainder of this post 'cause it's easier that way.

OKAY now for details:

In Streghella's first comic, Magica gets a letter from a friend asking her and Madam Mim to babysit her friend's daughter. Streghella is whiny and rude and a troublemaker. She ruins a magical career opportunity for Magica and it's pretty funny

Then there's a whole bunch of comics where she just appears for no reason, making trouble. She's a surprisingly powerful witch but she just loves to piss everyone off, especially Mim.

Another important note about Streghella - she was only really drawn by two comic artists during the height of her appearances (in the 70s, pretty much). The above drawings were all done by an artist named Jim Fletcher. But she had a lot of appearances drawn by an artist named Glenn Schmitz, who drew her completely differently.

I don't know if I would've realized these were even the same character if it wasn't documented lol but y'know they didn't have the same resources in the 70s that we have now so they did what they could.

Anyway, from what I can tell her personality stayed mostly in tact through most of these comics. Whiny, stuck-up, nosy, but also very funny and magically powerful. She would occasionally interact with Scrooge or HDL but mostly her appearances were in Magica and Mim comics.

Oh there's one comic where she looks like this for some reason?

BUT THEN what's interesting is Streghella making a few appearances years after her comics all came out. First there was one comic in 1995, then twice in 2011 and once more in 2016. There's also apparently a 2020 appearance but I couldn't get my hands on it :(

In her 1995 appearance she looks really cute but her personality is, well. Personality-wise she's completely unrecognizable. Now Magica makes comments about Streghella always trying to be good and getting in trouble for being good all the time.

(Ignore the bad english translation I was just popping pages into google translate lol)

She's still a troublemaker in the sense that she tries to trick Magica and Mim into consuming a potion that will make them good, kind people. But then the comic ends with Magica doing something nice by choice and it's cute but yeah the character is nothing like her original self.

Her first 2011 comic is where she...wants to go to a Jonas Brothers concert and chats with April May & June online to try and make it happen. Something like that. It follows along with "Streghella is too kind and Magica tries to teach her to be evil" from the '95 comic, but for some reason the colorist made Streghella a brunette. Idk! They also forgot her iconic hat!

Next 2011 comic has Huey Dewey and Louie accidentally traveling to a magic academy. It's very Harry Potter-y? I guess? Streghella is friendly and does some magic. You can tell it's her 'cause of the pigtails and bows. But still no hat :(

In her 2016 appearance, she's been reading April May and June's blog and wants to help them with some problem. Magica is like no be mean and Streghella's like no I want to help! You get it.

This comic is pretty fun. Magica turns herself into Grandma Duck and puts a truth potion into some cake Streghella bakes for the Duck Family and gets a bunch of secrets out of them.

There's also a joke at the end where Daisy accidentally reveals Brigitta's age to everyone (we don't get to see it) but according to this comic, Brigitta is much older than she looks lol Not that we didn't already know that.

Anyway so that's all there is to know about Witch Child/Streghella. She's cute!

Warlock time!

Warlock is Streghella's brother. He's only in four comics total and they're mostly very early comics - his real name is just whatever Streghella's name was at the time but with an -o at the end. If she's Maghetta, he's Maghetto. If she's Maghina, he's Maghino. You get it. He'd probably be Streghello if he had a named appearance more recently.

His personality is not very distinct from Streghella's. He's also magical and a troublemaker. In his first comic he arrives in the mail, in a, like...little jail cell? Crate? Idk? And then Magica and Mim eventually box both kids up into the crate and ship them away.

(Yes that's supposed to be him, apparently.)

He appears in the magic school comic as well...

And that's it! There's not really anything else to know about him.

Last but not least...the Witch of the West! Actually, that's a lie. Least. She appears just the one time. And I'm gonna be honest. I don't think she's the biological mother of these bird children.

'Cause yeah she's a human witch. Idk if she's from another Disney property or if she's supposed to be the witch from the Wizard of Oz. Idk man. But Streghella calls her "mama" and she refers to Streghella as her daughter so I'll take those ones literally.

There's nothing much to say about her - she doesn't have a name and all she does is drop her kid off with Magica and then reappear when Mim and Magica threaten to lock Streghella inside a bottle.

NOW if you're wondering...how do these characters connect to the previously known characters that are related to Magica De Spell?

They do not! The fact that Streghella has made a few recent appearances means you can decide how you want her to fit in, but trying to blend these different canons will not be seamless. You just gotta take what you like. Streghella frequently refers to herself as Magica's apprentice so you can always take that route, too.

Aaaaaaaaaand since you asked, I'm happy to talk about Matilda! God there are too many Matildas in duck comics. I have never met a woman named Matilda in my life. It's fine.

Matilda De Spell (not an official name but I call her that anyway) - Magica's teenage cousin! Is she actually, biologically, Magica's cousin? Probably not. But it's fiiiiiiine.

I did actually scanlate all three comics that Matilda appears in, so you can read them if you'd like:

There's not really anything to know about her outside of these comics. She's tomboyish, spunky, fun. Really looks up to Magica. I think their dynamic is fun and I always like to see more teen characters lol I think I've portrayed Matilda as Amelia De Spell's younger sister but that's definitely not canon, just me trying to stick the blondes together.

Anyway sorry this ended up being such a long response. I haven't had the opportunity to research random duck characters in a while. I hope this has the answers you wanted :)

PKNA/Ducktale 2017 Halloween Tale

Ghost of the past are always catching up on Halloween

Like every kids on this time if years, the Duck/Mcduck's children and their friends were preparing for Halloween.

It would be the third Halloween since Della Duck came back and she wanted to introduce one of her favorite Duck's Halloween tradition. She wanted and she did it, she had introduced to her children since they were now old enough (13 years old), THE WHEEL.

Do not worry, it was just a regular wheel but it has a lots of theme and where the wheel stops is which halloween's theme will be picked this year. There was over 20 of them, coming from horrible creatures to celebrities while getting an halt to aliments.

This year, Della wanted her boys to have time to prepare their costumes so the family had decided to turn to wheel two weeks before the famous night.

"Guyyyyyssssssss, do we really have to do this!????" asked a duckling wearing a green jacket or to be more specific, Louie Duck the last triplet. Who was currently being dragged by his blue counterpart, Dewey Duck and pushed by the oldest triplet, Huey Duck at the same time.

"Come on Louie, it is going to be fun! And don't y-"began to say Huey to his younger brother before the middle child chirped in.

"And don't you want to have a good moment with mom. She really seems excited to shows us? And beside, what could go wrong?!!!"

"First, do not say something like that, you know Uncle Donald is visiting later today and we don't want his bad luck to worsen. Two, please Dewey, it is only respectful to not cut someone when they are talking. And Third, Louie, don't you want to know more about mom and Uncle Donald's childhood?" exclaim Huey before finally arriving in the kitchen, where everyone were already settled.

Upon seeing the kids arrived, Della didn't lost any time and slammed the wheel as hard as she could, getting the object of doom to spin at an incredible speed.

While the wheel was spinning, everyone was beting which theme would be chosen. Scrooge bet on historical characters, Mrs Beakley and Duckworth both bet on regular animals while Webby hoped and bet for mystical creatures. Lauchpad chose fictionnal character when Fenton bet on robots and aliens. Finally, Della bet on objects or foods while her lucky cousin, Gladstone bet on superheroes. HDL didn't mind any of the theme, except Huey who didn't wanted to dress as a superhero again since he did three years ago.

When it ceased, the room was filled by desception noises except for one person.

Gladstone as usual was the luckiest duck on earth because the theme chosen by fate for this Halloween was Superheroes.

Even with her sour feelings caused by her lost, Della quickly took her kid and began preparing the costumes with them while she also calmed down an upset red duckling.

"Come on Brother, don't worry, didn't you say it would be fun? On top "What could go wrong" like Dewford here presents said?" whispered Louie to his older brother who calmed down in an hearthbeat.

Della was about to question her kids about what was being said when she saw her youngest and trickiest son heading upstairs with determination and pure mischielf in his eyes.

Gulping and turning her attention to her two other children to help them. She couldn't stop worrying over the fact about What was planning Louie! because this child here had an idea and was determined to bring it to life. However, would this be good or something she would regret?

Nevermind, she already regret introducing the wheel to the boys, this is what she conclued even she saw the biggest smirk on the loving gold child.

2 weeks later

Donald has entered the mansion with the help of Webby since his arms were full of Halloween pastry for everyone. He then headed to the decorated kitchen to help with tonight dinner. His help didn't last long between Grandma Duck, his cousin and his sister questions and Fethry who was tasting everything like a little child would.

"Yes Grandma, i am eating my vegetables and -No Gladstone, i can't come with you to saturday baseball match, i have work to do. And for the 23rd time, Della i won't help you scare young children wit-" quickly answered the sailor Duck before he was interrupted by Four young voices calling out to him.

Setting aside what he was doing, he rushed to the main area, where he could go upstairs to help the kids but upon arriving he saw Dewey rushing the stairs before throwing a smokebomb in front of him.

"I am the Terror that flaps in the night, i am the best Superhero to have ever existed, I AM DARKWING DUCK!!!!!" shouted Dewey in a kindway like Batman pose.

Following soon, almost instandly, came Huey who glided down the stairs with a soft metal costume of Gizmoduck, minus the weapons and the single wheel.

"Fear not citizen, I Gizmoduck , an actual hero, will come to your help!!!!!" proudly shouted, as much as his brother ,Huey.

Before Donald could say something, a thrid voice joined the Duo. "Everyone keep calm, everything will be okay because your lucky hero has come to save the Day!" yelled Webby from behind Donald.

Upon taking his breath from the little scare, the little girl gave him, Donald eyed the new Superhero better, she was wearing a green, blue and yellow suits with huge trefoil.

"Cloverleaf, i see, good pick Webby." said Donald behind a kind ssmile before all the lights were suddently cut.

Getting the girl behind him, he got in his fighting stance like the rest of the family because even if he coudn't see, he could feel someone lurking in the shadow, someone small and bad at it. Believe him, he knows what he is talking about.

However, before he could say something, he felt Webby being pulled from him and heard some groans.

Then suddently, the lights were on and was he was seeing let him speechless.

There in front of him, laid the Hewey, Dewey and Weddy tight together in a rope and behind them was none other than Louie Duck.

"You call that superhero? WOW! The level is low nowadays. You can't even defend yourself. And i know what i am talking about because i am Duckburg's first vigilante and earth greatest superhro. Now, shall we get a little Diabolical?"

Louie Duck who was wearing a perfect replica of one of his identity, PK or Duck Avenger.

PS: if it wasn't clear, Louie cut the lights and tied his brother and Webby. He did that to show that PK was moving in the shadow, discret, fast and efficient. He just wanted to prove that Paperinik was the best superhero. And i agree with him, everyone who thinks so too, repost please!!!!

I LOVE YOO 220 Thoughts

1. What excites me the most on this episode is, we got a glimpse of how Yui abused Nol in the past! (Not that I enjoy seeing Nol being abused, far from it, but I'm glad we finally see the plot moving) This is the discussion back in ep 150:

And with today's episode, we now see how Yui utilizes her power as the owner of the hospital: interfering with the doctors and nurses' decision, having their license revoked if they try to defy her, rewarding them with money -or anything- if they do as she say... Of course Yui's hand would stay clean if everyone is too scared of her! It really give us a glimpse of how she abused Nol in the past. Ugh. Now I wonder, did he also had the nurse he's close with removed from his sight because of Yui? Did she also gaslighted him into thinking it's his fault? 😒

Hearing Yui's argument is laughable actually. When a patient is unconscious, a doctor has the right to do some tests based on medical judgement in order to reach the correct diagnosis for the right treatment, because a sleeping patient can't tell the doctor what's wrong with them afterall. She has no right to veto as a mother too(?), since Kousuke is already an adult. Now, whether the CEO of the hospital has the right to revoke a medical lisence based on personal opinion -- or not, I can't tell because I don't know the laws. But well, money and power goes a long way, sadly.

2. At least Nol wakes up with the person he care by his side. Kousuke wakes up with no one in sight, and the sound of arguments outside. Quimchee just loves hammering down Kousuke's sign of neglection, huh. As much of an asshole Kousuke is, he's still the victim of abuse just like Nol :(

4. Now, about the reason why Yui is so adamant not letting Kousuke be tested by a literal professional. Many people has guessed it's because Yui doesn't want anyone to find out Kousuke is not Rand's biological son, but I don't think we're there yet. Hansuke mentioned basic tests; as far as I know, the basic, standard tests don't include blood-type test or DNA test. It usually only covered the potentials of:

Irregularity in blood (haemoglobin, platetet, RBC counts)

Infection (WBC, Lymphocyte counts)

Liver disfunction (AST, ALT)

Kidney disfunction (Creatinin, Urea, Bilirubin)

Diabetes (blood sugar)

Cholesterol-based illness (LDL, HDL, triglycerides)

Irregularity in electrolytes (Na, K, Cl, Ca)

And that's the gist of it. There's not much to get, unless Yui doesn't want anyone to find out Kousuke is actually diabetic? Maybe she inserted diabetes medicines inside his food? Kousuke did say they have personal chefs, maybe they also received Yui's order. I kinda doubt it though, this seem like a stretch.

It's a different story if Hansuke wanted to check the possible substance inside Kousuke's body, though. Hansuke suspected Kousuke is under the influence; it's the easiest answer that could explain Kousuke's abnormal behavior.

This is just some wild theory but I suspect Yui inserted some antipsychotic drugs in his drink or food (remember the family chefs?) to keep Kousuke in check. If Hansuke finds out about it, it will reveal that Yui has been hiding the fact that Kousuke has some mental disorder, and that could jeopardize his position as the new CFO; that's why Yui doesn't want a blood work. Just a guess 💀

5. [Yui: what has you scrambling around in distress?] [Kou: I can't recall... ] [Yui: Aww that's too bad...]

Look at that sinister smile. She is DELIGHTED Kousuke forgets. Since Yui knew he hit his head on the wall, I think it's safe to assume(?) she knows Kousuke was looking at patient record earlier. She knows which name that triggers him. Does it mean she doesn't want Kou to find out about Nessa (further, what she did to her)? Has Yui always used Kou's "ignorance" (memory issue) about Nessa's fate to let him mock Nol about her disappereance?

Nol you couldn't be more right. I look forward to see Kou finding out he has been mocking Nol's mom's absence when it's his own "dear mother" who "killed" her. The devastation...

6. I still don't get why would Yui throw away Rand's gift. If anything, I think it'd benefit her more if she give it to Kousuke. Something like: praising him, how he's done such a good job being a CFO that his father would give him an early expensive present, gaslight him into thinking it's not enough, but just a little more until he'd truly acknowledge him, etc. I thought he'd be easier to manipulate if he get enough reward (which he clearly didn't get)? It feels like Yui's manipulation is getting old. Idk, I thought a goal would be much sweeter if he get to taste it, so he'd work even harder. But so far, he didn't taste any of it.

But then it hit me. If Kousuke sees the real present, he'd know his father does care about him. He won't need Yui anymore, he'd start to rely on Rand, as in, the person. And Yui doesn't want that. She wants Kousuke to be fully in her control, she wants him to keep relying on Rand's image by her words; that Rand is a cold man who doesn't care about his family unless Kousuke surpassed him. She just... never let Kousuke to be free. (Which is why I realized Nol has the potential to be a much scarier manipulator than Yui, but that's another topic for another day).

7. Yui touching Kousuke's injured hand without apologizing is such a psychopath thing to do: lacking of guilt or empathy.

8. BAHAHA since we're almost at the end of the year, it's nice to see the reference of earlier episode!

Though, could this be a foreshadowing? If Shinae really becomes Kousuke's assistant in the future, would she be included in the future hospital inspection? Would she play a role in uncovering Nol and Kousuke's mistreatment in the hospital? Lol.

9. MEG!! AOEBJDDJ I hope she would return the gift to Kousuke, just like Shinae who return the bible to Nol! Kousuke needs to know Rand is more caring than he seemed and Yui is much more wicked than he thought! This is probably Meg's role as the member of the Black Team: to open Kousuke's eyes that he still has people who care for him as who he is.

I usually really hate suicide jokes. But sometimes theyre funny. And with sometimes i mean whenever they happen in duck comics

I thought that she loved me… Farewell cruel Earth!

And only duck comics can do this. Mickey comics are always way too serious for it to work.

I kinda want to scanlate the entire story where donald is just laying on the railroad because rereading it, i think its quite funny, but it’s a bit difficult to translate. HDL actually say that he is of no use because he’s so stupid, but the way i did it feels more in tone with the original “we hebben niks aan u” (would literally be: we have nothing on you. But that doesnt work in english). Also scanlating is too difficult for me on just my smartphone lol.

And even though i dont usually do this kind of stuff, but because of the topic: Remember that you are loved and that you can always call to one of those suicide call thingies. If sometimes it feels like things can’t get better, know that it always can. Even if dum dum brain says otherwise. Like look at me im still alive! And i’ve thought in the past that by now i wouldnt be. The brain is very good at tricking itself into believing nonsense. Know it can get better. Know it will get better!

Who appears the most in Only A Poor Old Man?

So I remembered that whilst I didn't own the Danish Donald Duck big book, I did own the English version! So I could finally count this one!

As always there are spoilers for the story, but if you haven't read this story yet you should definitely drop everything you are doing and go read it! (And then come back here and like and reblog and follow my account to become a true Atobibster).

This story beats Scrooge in Back to the Klondike as the story with the highest percentage of any character on the top 100 so far (and also of any story I've counted).

As mentioned this was published in a Donald Duck book, which is a little silly. But it is famously the first Scrooge McDuck story, so this was just one little silly choice.

Two years later and DuckTales 2017 finale gives conflicting emotions. But it is interesting. It simultaneously uplifts and takes away from the found family trope. It is all about choosing to love people and accepting them as family. However, when you watch how Scrooge accepts people into his family compared to how he accepts a “daughter” when he already has several kids really shows that writers missed on the delivery and potential implications.

Because yeah he accepts Webby as his daughter instantly but in that same note he also shows there’s difference between being his niece/nephew and being his child. He imitates Donald, an actual parent, and smothers a child who has been quite literally trained to kill. He’s never exhibited such protectiveness to anyone or any of the children he’s had, including Donald and Della.

The show defined what constitutes a parent from an uncle or an aunt. While Scrooge saw HDL, Donald, and Della as his kids, he wasn’t their parent. They weren’t his responsibility. You’d ask, what about Donald and Della? Where are their parents? Alive. The artbook confirmed Hortense and Quackmore are living on Grandma’s farm, and they travel a lot. Scrooge could go on dangerous trips with children and not feel a sense of dread or overwhelming concern for these children because ultimately they weren’t his kids in the same way Webby is.

I don’t think that was the intent when writing the scene, but that’s the implication. It’s like what? Found family is still present with Webby and Beakley. Beakley chose to love Webby, and Webby loves Beakley. They choose to love each other. They chose their family. That’s good.

However, it doesn’t have the same character significance as it would have with Scrooge. Of the characters, Scrooge really needed to learn that lesson. He’s egotistical. He’s self-absorbed. He believes the hype of his own character because he lives the hype.

Beakley has always been a more grounded character who’s remained consistent in her common sense. She didn’t need to learn the importance of non-biological family. She already knew it. She has no ties to her family name or issues concerning being the last of her clan. Scrooge did. In the comics, him choosing to pursue wealth and fortune definitely comes up as a reason why he doesn’t have children (Goldie).

Webby being his daughter (or preferably granddaughter, come on writers) isn’t an inherently bad idea. But for the length of show and its execution, it wasn’t the best way to conclude the story. There wasn’t significant buildup for the plot reveal or any concern for how this would change the family dynamics. Let alone the fact Webby had zero interest in knowing more about her family. If there were four seasons, they should’ve kept it in and dealt with all the consequences that came with this discovery.

Yeah, I’ve been rewatching the show.

Donald, Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck in Australia in Sydney - Australia Day - Quack Pack and Duckverse - My first OC

Yes, I am late, because Australia Day is celebrated on the 26th of January, but for some reason I didn’t get to finish it until now. However, since I’m currently in the spirit of Australia, I’m going to publish some drawings of our heroes related to that country.

By the way, Australia Day is celebrated because on that day, in 1788, the first fleet made landfall and raised the British flag under the command of Arthur Phillip and founded Sydney there. Admittedly, the first settlers were prisoners.

I drew another drawing related to Australia Day and related to Quack Pack, primarily my version of Quack Pack (Quack Pack AU). I drew Donald and Daisy Duck, as well as Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck went to Sydney, Australia, of course as a tourist and reporter job (Daisy is a reporter and Donald is a cameraman). They went to visit a famous wildlife conservationist, explorer and adventurer called Steve Kangaroo (named after the famous Steve Irwin, also a wildlife conservationist, television personality, and educator who unfortunately ended tragically) and that is my first OC (original character) related to the Duckverse in general, and certainly for Quack Pack. Daisy interviews Steve Kangaroo for What In World (that's the name of the show Daisy hosts), while Steve hugs Donald, like his old friend, and Huey, Dewey and Louie hang out with Steve's son Jack Kangaroo (also my first OC and he is a teenager and is the same age as HDL), and Jack shows them a boomerang, as a well-known Australian tool, "weapon" and toy. And then there's Kent Powers, who hosts the What In World show, but he's unhappy that Daisy has taken over the image for him. There is also Steve's dog Dingo (a dingo dog based on the Ducktales 1987 episode "Back Out in the Outback"). And behind them you can see the famous Sydney Opera House.

I know that Quack Pack had problems with the writing in certain episodes, but the series itself turned out to be good, and I have one dissatisfaction with that series, that they did not introduce more anthropomorphic animals, so I did it my way, by introducing kangaroos (as inhabitants who live in Australia). XD Yes, Steve and Jack wear the famous Australian outfit and Wally Jr. outfit wildlife adventurer (if that's the right word) and I also found inspiration in Backwater Jack (also an Australian adventurer) from the Quack Pack episode "Hit the Road, Backwater Jack". Only Steve and Jack are not so timid and they are brave adventurers, and Jack would be one of the best friends of Donald's nephews, and especially he would hang out with Louie, since they have similar personalities, and he would be one of the regular visitors to Duckburg. And so they all go on a trip to Australia together. My only apologies are that the camera and certain things in bolding with the marker turned out badly. Gyro's lack of concern for Boyd in 'The Last Adventure' (long post)

In 'The Last Adventure', when Gandra revealed to Huey and Gyro that in order to destroy adventure, Bradford was going to not only erase the Missing Mysteries, but also everyone even remotely associated with Scrooge and the Ducks- families, allies, enemies, and everyone else in-between... Gyro didn't seem the horrified or terrified.

He looked typically annoyed or indifferent to their situation. This is strange, considering how he'd seemed very interested in figuring out F.O.W.L.'s plan ever since they arrived at the Lost Library (although this was likely to save his pride from earlier after even he- the genius of the group- didn't really have any theories on what F.O.W.L.'s ultimate plans for the Ducks were).

What's strange about this is that now he's got someone in his life to love, care about, and consider his own family, somebody to both live for and to keep safe. His son Boyd. You'd think he'd be terrified that he and Boyd would lose each other again- and permanently this time- after only recently finding one-another and starting over together (let's face it, Gyro and Boyd need each other on so many levels, and I'm positive they both recognized that ever since 'Astro B.O.Y.D.')!

In the scene where Dewey and Louie find Huey and Gyro (along with Gandra and Ludwig Von Drake) locked up, you’d think the first thing out of Gyro’s mouth would be “What are you two doing here?! Where’s Boyd?? Is he ok?”

Scrooge had ordered the team of kids to stay on the plane and await his signal while the adults stormed the Lost Library... until the kids realized that something must have happened to the adults after ages went by without any word from them, and decided to split up to find them (after Dewey's air-battle with Don Carnage and the plane crash). So, when Dewey and Louie- who were in charge of their team back on the plane- suddenly showed up outside their cells without the rest of the kids, you’d think Gyro would have known something was wrong and immediately wanted to know if Boyd was ok.

Instead, this was how that scene played out:

Gyro: Quickly, you two! Open our cells by reversing the polarity of the triple-wired coupling! (Now, tbf, he did sound pretty urgent there)

Dewey: We are children!

Gyro: *deadpan* Cut. The Red. Wire.

*Dewey and Louie shrug and go to do it*

Gyro: *sarcastically* When they do something right, they’re heros. When it gets a little hard, ‘we’re children’!

Not only that, but he never once mentioned Boyd at all throughout the rest of the episode or gave any indication he was thinking about him; you’d think he’d want to know where Boyd and Lil Bulb were and if they were ok (especially once he learned that Bradford planned to erase everyone from existence)! I know he entrusted them to keep each other safe, which was probably his only source of hope and comfort, but STILL.

As indicated in the above captions, at least he was concerned for Huey, and that is definitely something (especially since Huey was the one who helped Gyro learn the truth about a past that haunted him for years and reunited him with Boyd)! But still, it would have been even more meaningful if he'd expressed concern for Boyd there (and with even more emotion).

When Huey told Dewey and Louie in the above scene "Guys, if this is the end, I'm glad we're together", that would've been a perfect moment for Gyro to pipe up about Boyd, because surely he missed him and wished they were together! (And for Gandra to say she wished she was with Fenton, who she hadn't seen for weeks ever since F.O.W.L. captured her!)

(Bradford and Heron letting Scrooge and the prisoners- HDL, Webby, Gyro, Gandra, and Ludwig Von Drake- see each other while threatening to erase Scrooge's entire family unless he cooperates, just so they all know what's at stake)

When Webby explained to May and June what true family is about (shortly after the above scene), most of her words reminded me of Boyd and his found family in his long-lost father Gyro: "Heron made me, but she's not my family. Family are those who fight for you, stick by you, blindly invade a sinister villain's secret stronghold for you. Family would do anything to keep you safe and sacrifice everything to love you, no matter who and what you are!"

.....Akita had a hand in creating Boyd, but that didn't make him Boyd's family. He meant to use him for evil all along and corrupted the innocent child-like nature Gyro lovingly programmed him with; but Gyro had poured his heart into him, welcomed him into the world and told him he was a real boy, and loved him like a real son (including advocating to Akita about Boyd being more a person than just a machine). And in the episode 'Astro B.O.Y.D.', when Gyro learned what Akita did to Boyd, he went feral like any protective parent defending their child after somebody did them an injustice- he fought for Boyd against Akita both verbally and physically- then put himself straight in the path of the rampaging Boyd in an attempt to break him free of Akita's control ("You are a definitely real boy!")... quite prepared to die trying. And what makes the parallel between Boyd and May and June even stronger is that all three children were corrupted and used for evil by the adults who created them (ok, Gyro also had a huge hand in Boyd's creation and development, but it was Akita who used him for evil), deprived of the chance to be happy and loved.

That's why when things looked their darkest there, with Gyro knowing Boyd was somewhere out there- not knowing where he was or if he was ok- you'd think he would've become especially desperate or inspired to get out of there so he could find him before they lost each other for good. As Webby gave her family speech, there should have been a close-up of Gyro looking emotional or deeply thoughtful (indicating he was reminded of Boyd). And/or after her speech, he could have piped up in agreement and vehemently said he's learned the meaning of family for himself ever since Boyd returned to his life (and I mean, he only had one line of dialogue from the whole time they were all tied up together in that room to the end of the episode, and I'm very disappointed his very last line wasn't anything that further emphasized his relationship with Boyd or his character development in general).

Good Morning/Night!

So, as a Ducktales fan, I wanted to provide some of my own headcanons!

DELLA DUCK

• In all honesty, I think she would be the type to have gotten a sperm donor instead of having a one night stand or settling down with a male duck.

• She is a terrible mother and I wish the show provided more of a growth episode than her neglecting and abusing Louie. I mean, locking him in a room with no food or bathroom, then leaving him alone with a ghost and robot that attacks him based on his thoughts, and finally, who go's on a kids dream trip to teach them a lesson and tells them they can't be apart of the family (that she only just rejoined after years) for being themselves? That's just messed up.

• She gives me bisexual aromantic/demiromantic vibes.

DONALD DUCK

• He definitely knows about Louie's Kids, he isn't an idiot.

• I bet he taught HDL not to call him by parental titles because he didn't want to steal that from Della even with her betrayal.

• He strikes me as the kind of parent who is overprotective and gets exasperated easily but will answer any question and strives to let HDL achieve all their dreams within reason.

• He sent the triplets to school while he worked but would randomly call said school at Recess/Lunch to check that they were okay and behaving because HDL are trouble makers and he's worried about Scrooge's enemies.

• He got help from Goofy a lot as he has parenting experience with Max and is good with young kids.

• Mickey and Minnie would provide him free medical care for HDL and himself as they knew about his money struggles and are certified medical practitioners. (Mickey = Docter | Minnie = Child Psychologist).

HUEY DUCK

• Definitely has autism and butes/chews things/himself/his brothers as a stim

• I feel like he would actually be the second messiest next to Dewey of the three but tries to keep everything clean.

• JWG book and hat are comfort items.

• His favourite genres are fantasy, historical fiction and romance.

• He has small scars on his hands from JWC stuff.

• He likes to read in his spare time.

• He learnt first aid because of the disaster that is Dewey and Donald, but also because Louie gets injured the most

• He is a bisexual mess that falls for Violet when their 14.

• In highschool he joins the student council, dance committee and is Dungeon Master.

• He tutors Dewey and others during Recess.

• Is a good drawer.

• Becomes a chemical engineer and JWC leader.

DEWEY DUCK

• ADHD disaster.

• Is the best of the three at sports.

• Musical theatre kid that takes up drama, basketball and yearbook committee in highschool.

• Did you say dare! I'll do it!

• Becomes a pilot and actor as an adult after serving in the army like Donald (Navy pilot).

• Is an aroace. No time for love when danger is out there.

• Will do any dare that doesn't go against his moral code.

• If you hurt his brothers, be prepared to be beaten.

• Adventures the most as an adult.

• His fashion sense doesn't change much from punk jock at all. Varsity jacket and fingerless gloves forever.

• Ends up with a sneaker addiction.

• Gets a pet Labrador or hawk or both at some point to help him know when to stop and eat.

• Forgets to eat or drink and has to be reminded too by his brothers.

LOUIE DUCK

• Saves the Money from Louie's Kids in case of an emergency and for education necause he knows Donald wouldn't otherwise.

• I an anxiety and depression ridden mess.

• Goes to Mickey and Minnie the most due to all the injuries and trauma he receives from adventuring and his struggle with Della's return.

• Has a large online following.

• Is a technology, mathematical and social sciences prodigy.

• Enjoys writing in his spare time.

• Is the only triplet that knows how to cook.

• Is good at arts and crafts (Did you see his board). Specifically fashion and interior design but can draw well.

• Kepps stim toys, pens and notepads in his pockets for his brothers and himself.

• Would end up with a cat one day.

• Goldie taught him how to be a better conartist and to escape any situation.

• Is a sharpshooter and secretly does gymnastics.

• Would join debate and band (drums but can play violin and piano) so he can walk home with his brothers after their own clubs.

• Has a bad relationship with Della so goes to Donald or Goldie if he needs anything.

• Would go through law school but owns charities that he let's Dewey be the spokes person for while he runs side businesses that Huey oversees as he becomes an underground boss to catch criminals for cops/Scrooge. (He's got the reputation, why not use it?).

• He is the Duck family go to when they need a lawyer.

• Funds his brothers, the girls and Donald's lives unlike Scrooge did when Donald moved away to raise HDL.

• Does heists with Goldie for the fun of it more than profit.

• He so learnt magic and became immortal somehow.

WEBBY VANDERQUACK

• Marries Lena (they are cute together even if only platonically).

• Inherits Scrooge's fortune and buisness but Louie has already become immortal and the richest Duck in the world when she does.

• Becomes a spy like Beakley and gets info from Louie.

• Settles into the role of adventurer and buisness owner but adopts children she meets on her adventures.

• I feel like she would renovate the Mansion to be more pink and provides safer storage for stuff. (Seriously Scrooge, a gold hunting dragon in a garage when LP as your driver?).

• Is so the fun aunt/mum
