Anonymous asked: Asami for the nsfw character traits meme?
Tumblr media
Preference for top or bottom? She's a full on SWITCH. Asami likes being both ravaged and doing the ravaging. But honestly, she tends to take the lead and initiate, and adapts from there. Favorite type, looks and personality wise? She prefers that you care about your appearance, and won’t want anyone that doesn’t take care of themselves. But she never expects anyone to keep up with her elegant, high end style. However they HAVE to be: athletic/fit, adventurous, a tad egotistical (lbr), endearing, someone as curious about everything as she is, LOYAL, and as affectionate, thirsty as her. Get up and shower after or bask in the afterglow all sticky and wet? She will bask a bit first, because she’s romantic and doesn’t want to peel away from them just yet. Buuuuut when she’s done with cuddles she wants to hit the showers. She is a priss, after all. But she'd encourage her partner to join her. Monogamous? Open relationship? Polyamorous? She is 100% monogamous. She attaches to one person wholly and will NOT stick around if you wanna "share." Deep and slow? Hard and fast? What’s your character’s preference? I think Asami varies here too, but she leans towards taking your time and truly worshiping each other's body. Hard and fast is usually...when things build up and get heated, but then after that, she's back to deep and slow. Favorite sex position? Any position she can maintain eye contact, or she can at least have her hands free to explore their body throughout. What’s your character’s favorite kink? Asami is not THAT experienced yet to have a “favorite.” She’s of age, but she’s still young. As of now, does like to give head ( a lot ) in any place you could be caught...or in the backseat of a car. She’d be the type to feel you up under the table and sip her drink like nothing is happening, and play innocent later. It’s most likely going to become a kink where she likes having sex anywhere they COULD get caught. A coat-room, a pool, etc. How active in bed is your character? Do they like to lie there and take it or do they like to get the most bang for their buck? Even if she’s “lying there and taking it” she’s twitchy, squirmy, and touchy, so....no stillness. If she’s on top, she’s all over the place. Kissing during sex, yes or no? YES. A must. Clothes off or on during sex? Off off off. Lingerie? Yes or no? Oh, she'll wear all kinds of fancy, lacy, satiny, and expensive things for you. Strategic pieces of fabric and flowing silks as well as the full garter and accessory deal. Prepare for a pretty show.
Would your character join a threesome if given a chance? NOPE. Your character’s Penis size? N/A Preference for penis size? Again, she’s not experienced enough to have sampled that much dick to know size comparison.🙄 I’m sure all she knows is “average” size, so anything smaller or larger will be a surprise for her. I can predict Asami is not shallow about that sort of thing, and she will make do with whatever size she gets as long as he “gets her there.” Does your character like to roleplay? If so, what? I don't think she's ever encountered this kink, so she wouldn't know if she likes it or not. But she's a good sport, she'll TRY it if her partner wants to. Does your character prefer condoms or bareback? I think Asami is very responsible, so condoms. She'd only go bareback if she was with a guy that was 100% committed to her, and she was on bc or something.
Your character’s most private sexual fantasy? Asami is at the stage where she just WANTS to have sex. All she “fantasizes” about is that it’s with the right person and they can do it as much as they want without being split up. Yes, it’s THAT “pure” at this point in time. The more experienced ( and older ) she gets, the fantasies will be WAY WAY more explicit.
How sexually active is your character? Asami is very sexual, but she doesn't just screw anyone that wants her. She will flirt, be touchy, and even be a tease to someone that she's interested in. But until she's sure she can trust them, she won't do more than kiss. Once she's sure they're dating for real, and in a commitment, she will be on them all the time, so I hope they're ready. XD When did your character lose their virginity? Straddling canon assumption and her independent verses on my blogs, it’s HIGHLY likely she may have already experimented sexually with herself before Ma/ko, in order to be that ready to jump all over him so fast. Asami has definitely had some majorly “almost there” moments with intense make-out sessions before him, but no sex. Lots of dry-humping type stuff. She MAY have given oral on someone once, or at least “studied and practiced” how to do it well before actually doing it to Ma/ko first, but (sadly) I think Ma/ko may have been the first person where she went "all the way.” Or at least ALMOST all the way. I don’t think she even tried sex with girls until later, but she did have fantasies and made out once with a girl to know she liked both sexes. FINAL OPINION?:  I clock her as a “technical” virgin in most verses until she has sex with the verse-dependent ship. Kinks your character would participate in? Asami is very much interested in trying most anything her partner wants to try out too, she IS very willing to experiment. Be it toys, locations, risks, positions...To be perfectly honest, SOME dominance is fine either giving or receiving, but mind that line that's never to be crossed. But overall Asami is about just being with YOU at any physical level that you both feel pleasure. Kinks your character would not participate in? Anything with filth, humiliation, blood...the usual no-nos. And she's not into any kind of bondage that puts either party in extreme pain or suspension. She will walk the fuck right out and never come back. A character that yours fantasizes about coupling with? This is 100% verse dependent! I'm a multiverse/crossover player so this ask isn't applicable.

Tell it to my heart
Here's to the one with the scorching stare of love, blood, and vengeance. Eyes killer cold, blue and bare.
Tumblr media
pairing: Gojo Satoru x f! reader AU - Mafia
warnings: angst, implied abuse, injuries, blood, alcohol, death, suicide, drug usage, addict, recovery, smut, gore, violence, trauma, guns, abuse
Author’s note: This fanfiction is going to be a slow build story with an irregular upload scheme. I am not sure when I will be able to update. I might upload multiple chapters in a single week or not upload for a few weeks. It depends on what my daily schedule is and it is very dynamic. This story is for a mature audience and will have a lot of problematic themes. If this is triggering to you, please refrain from interacting with this story. The content warning is for the entire story and not just for this chapter. Again, I cannot emphasize enough, this is a slow burn story. In this story, you will find some changes in mannerisms among characters. Gojo Satoru will be smoking and drinking. Yuji and Sukuna will be 2 different people but are related by blood. The main reason is, I do not see Yuji being part of a Mafia unless he had no other choice. The cursed spirits will be human in appearance.
Notes for this chapter: Slight smut I guess?
Chapter 4 - Change
You woke up gasping for air. You had a nightmare where your dead friend and Mahito kept taunting you. You realize you were now in a big room and were lying on a queen-sized bed. You notice that your black vest was taken off you and the left sleeve was torn open. The graze wound caused by the bullet was now covered with bandages. You touch your throbbing forehead and find that a bandage has been used to help your body heal your wound. Your throat was dry and it felt like sandpaper at this point. You hear the door to your room open. Satoru, Sukuna and Nanami walk in.
“How are you feeling?” Nanami asks you.
“As if you care.” Your voice was raspy. You were past the point of caring. You knew you had no chance at a normal life. You did not give them any useful information and they were probably going to dispose of you like how Asami was disposed of. “How did you know I was awake?”
Satoru points to a camera at the corner of your room. You felt like your privacy was violated but it made sense that they were still monitoring your activity. Satoru places a water bottle and an apple beside you. You look at it skeptically even though you were thirsty. He smirks at you.
“It isn’t poisoned, (Y/N)”. He takes the water bottle, opens it, and drinks a sip of water. He hands it to you while he takes the apple and bites a piece of it and swallows it in front of you. You take the water bottle from him and empty the whole bottle. You then take the apple and eat it.
Sukuna clears his throat. “Ahem. Yuji is safe. I made sure of that. He will be here shortly.”
“You’re his brother, aren’t you?” You finish the apple quickly.
“Yes… I thought my family died in that accident. But I was wrong.” He rubs the back of his head.
“(Y/N), You seem to have taken a few injuries, we want a doctor to examine you. Is that okay?” Satoru looked at your bandages. You nod.
Nanami goes out of the room and brings a woman with him. She looked tired.
“Hello. I am Dr. Shoko Ieri. I was the one who patched up your wounds. Your left arm needed stitches, I will remove them after a week. I should warn you, it will leave a scar.” She was all business-like.
She pulled out a torch. “You took a heavy hit to your head. I want to check if you have a concussion.” She flashes the light to your eyes. “Pupils are dilating normally. Miss, can you move your eyes in such a way that it follows my finger?” You nod. She moves her finger from left to right and right to left.
“Can you stand up and walk for me?” She moves, making some space for you.
You remove the duvet and get up from the bed. You still had your skirt on but your stocking was ripped in random places. Your skirt felt wet and you touch it. Your fingers had some blood.
“What the fuck?” Sukuna exclaimed.
There was blood on the sheets. You forgot that during your interrogation, your period had started.
Nanami shifted uncomfortably while Satoru looked concerned.
Your face flushed red. “I am so sorry. I’ll clean that up. Really. Just let me clean it up.”
“HUH? You’re bleeding and you are worried about cleaning it up?” Sukuna looked at you as if you were an alien.
“She’s on her period, dumbass.” Shoko sighed. “What do you use? Tampons, Pads, Period panties, cups?”
“Tampons.” You whisper.
“Get some tampons arranged for her, now.” She ordered Nanami.
You saw that the three men respected her and you were impressed as to how she composed herself. Mafia women were built different, you thought. She leads you to a bathroom. “There should be some towels and a bathrobe in there. Go take a shower if you can. If you have any open wounds or you feel pain anywhere, let me know. I’ll look into it. Make sure you don’t wet your bandages.”
You enter the bathroom and thank the lords that there was no bathtub in there. You couldn’t stand seeing a bathtub. You close the door behind you and slowly undress. You notice that your legs have cuts and bruises. Nothing major that required attention. You notice giant purple and black bruises in your ribs from Mahito’s kicks. You walk closer to the mirror and notice bruises on your neck from Sukuna’s fingers. You adjust the shower settings and let the warm water run down your body. You clean the wounds on your legs and hands. Your body ached but nothing felt broken for now. You use a citrus-scented shower gel that you find on the rack. You rinse it off. You would have liked to wash your hair but Dr. Shoko suggested not to wet the bandages so you decided against it. You were probably there for a long time as you hear a knock on the door.
“Is everything okay in there?”
It was Satoru.
“Yeah, everything is fine. I’ll be out in a few minutes.” You shut the shower and grab a towel. You pat yourself dry and use the bathrobe. You look at your underwear and pause. It was completely ruined by your period. You also realized you didn’t have underwear and did not want to free bleed as you walked. You already ruined the sheets and possibly the mattress. You open the door to see Satoru and Sukuna standing outside. You did not step out of the bathroom. You see that the sheets were already changed.
“Are you planning to stay in there forever?” Satoru chuckled.
“Unless you want me to bleed on your floor.”
You notice his smile drop as he hands you a paper bag. “Here, this should help”
Sukuna looked away from the two of you. The fact that big, scary mafia men were tiptoeing around periods was funny to you. You check the bag to see a couple of tampon packs and a few underwears of different sizes. You close the bathroom door again and use a tampon and slide a pair of panties that you thought would be comfortable. You throw your panties, stocking, and skirt into a bin in the bathroom and then walk out of the bathroom. You notice that Sukuna has left the room.
“Does Shoko need to check on anything?” Satoru asks.
“No, she doesn’t. I am fine.” You sit on the bed. “So… what is the point of all of this?”
“Hm?”
“Why are you taking care of me?”
“That’s a good question… I am in love with you!” He grins. You roll your eyes. “Mr. Gojo, I am serious.”
“Mr. Gojo? What happened to Satoru?” He raises an eyebrow.
“You’re not who I thought you were.”
“I am the same person you met that day. But if you’re going to call me by my last name, at least drop the Mr. that’s my father.”
“Okay. Gojo, I am being serious. Why am I still here?”
“It’s complicated. Would you rather be killed? We saw the cuts on your hand… You are full of contradictions, (Y/N). You want a fresh start but there are signs of self-harm on you. You want to survive but you ask your captors why they kept you alive. I just don’t seem to understand you.” He runs his hands through his hair in frustration. “Why are you still alive? I don’t know. Maybe it’s because you are Sukuna’s brother’s legal guardian? Maybe it’s because we are not the monsters you think we are? Maybe we are going to kill you but after we are done with you? Does it really matter? All that matters is that you are alive right now.”
“You don’t know me.” You say as you rub the scars on your wrist.
“But I do. At least to a certain extent. Miss little (Y/N) got in with the wrong crowd, got involved with drugs, got addicted. Parents couldn’t get a hold of you. Your addiction drove your parents apart. They stayed under the same roof for your sake but your dad started drinking to tune you and your mother out. Dad drove under the influence and his car crashed against a tree, killing him on impact. Your mother was ridden with guilt after losing her husband, you were completely codependent on drugs and your state got worse, your mother felt guilty about that as well and she killed herself. Obviously, your mother left you a letter which was the turning point of your addiction. You tried killing yourself and that didn’t work so you cleaned up your act and decided to get a fresh start.” He sounded cold and calculating as he summarized.
“You’re right about some things, you’re wrong about a lot of things, Gojo.”
“What was I wrong about?” He sits beside you. You move a little away from him.
“It doesn’t matter.” You looked up at the ceiling. “Now what?”
“You’ll have to be a little more specific than that.” Gojo laid down on the bed.
“Now… what do you plan to do with me?” You look at him. His eyes were closed and you tried to take in his appearance.
“Hmmm… Good question. We haven’t figured that out yet. I mean, we could always send you back which is what Nanami would prefer as well but that would not end well for you. The SnK will come for you. Don’t be mad at Nanami, he’s practical about things and he feels you are a liability and a perfect SnK sleeper agent. You have no one to tie you down and you have a hole in your entire story. Your sealed records could not be found in the adoption agency or at any police station as well.”
You lie again. “I don’t know. I don’t remember anything…”
“It doesn’t matter. Sukuna and I don’t think you are a sleeper agent. You are smart but you are impulsive. No offense but I don’t think you have an appetite for all of this.” He opens his eyes to look at you.
“You’re right, I don’t. But I am surprised Sukuna agreed. He looked like he wanted to kill me himself.” You instinctively touch your neck.
“Yeah. Sukuna has a short fuse. He can get pretty violent if he sees you as a threat. It doesn’t matter if you are a man, woman, or a child... Okay maybe not a child but you get what I mean. That’s why he is my third in command.” He raises himself to be supported by his elbow on the bed.
“So you’re the leader of the triad?”
“Sort of… It’s a little more complex than your usual organizational hierarchy.” He examines his fingers.
“So the three families each have a representative leader…” You understood why they called themselves a triad.
“Yep. But I am the strongest among the three of them.” He grinned. “Coming back to why Sukuna wants you here. He won’t admit it but I think it is because he sees you as a safety net concerning his brother.”
That made sense to you. “And what do you want, Gojo?”
He sits up and looks you in the eye. “What do I want? Well, I want to see how this all plays out. Think of it as me having a soft spot for a puppy I rescued.” He winks at you. You remember him calling you a lost puppy when you first met him. You roll your eyes. He slowly extends his hand towards you. “I am not going to hurt you, (Y/N).” He touches your neck to examine the bruises left by Sukuna. You shiver against his touch. He slowly moves his fingers up to your face, against your cheek, and turns your face side to side. “I know what Sukuna did, but what did Mahito do to you?”
“Well… Asami was frantic and was telling me her life was in danger. Mahito shows up out of nowhere and he tries to shoot Asami, she tries to use me as a human shield but fails so the bullet grazes me..” You then remember how in her dying moments your friend wanted to betray you. Two things hurt you. First, the betrayal, and second, her death. In your head, you excused the betrayal as a form of withdrawal. You didn’t know how long Asami was on the run for and you remembered your own withdrawal and how terrible you were when your parents tried to get you help. But you saw Asami die in front of you and somehow you hadn’t still come to process that. “She’s dead…” You look at your trembling hands. “She’s dead… and he killed her” You feel your eyes burn with tears. “He killed her without a second thought and he would have done the same to me if I said something.” You felt a pit form in your diaphragm.
Gojo’s cold blue eyes seemed to melt a little as he notices tears rolling down your cheeks. In the past 48 hours, you had been through a lot and had no time to process any of it. He felt a little sympathy for you but in his world, this was an everyday affair. He cupped your face in his hand and tried to calm you down. “Hey…. (Y/N), It’s okay. You’re okay. You’re safe now.”
You didn’t know what came over you but you hugged the man in front of you. You knew your fate was in his hands and he could end you at any moment. He was dangerous and you didn’t know much about him but you hugged him anyway and began to sob hysterically. “I should … have… stopped her from doing heavy drugs… I-I-I should have been a better f-f-friend. This could have been avoided.”
He gently stroked your back as you cried uncontrollably against him. He didn’t say anything. He didn’t have to. You needed to come to terms with your emotions. He knew that and he let you have that moment.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don’t remember how or when you fell asleep. The last thing you remember was crying as you embraced Gojo. You find yourself entangled in your bathroom and you quickly fix it in place. You see that your room is filled with bags and boxes. You open a bag to find your belongings in them. You realize that things from your apartment are here. You hear a knock on the door.
“Come in.” You say as you check the bags for some of your clothes.
“(Y/N)!! I was so worried about you!” You see Yuji rush towards you. He suddenly is held back.
“Easy there… She’s hurt.” You hear Sukuna behind him. Yuji looks at you and then back at Sukuna and then back to you.
“Did he hurt you?” Yuji frowns.
“Hey! Why would you assume that?” Sukuna looked offended.
“Because you are a mafia mobster.” Yuji rushes to your side and hugs you gently. “Are you okay, (Y/N)?”
“I am okay, Yuji, and no he didn’t. It was someone from SnK.” You reassure him. You awkwardly look at Sukuna.
“I told the boy everything.” He crosses his arms. “I am not ashamed of who I am.”
“How do you feel about everything, Yuji?” You caress his face.
“At first, I was confused and then I was glad that my brother is okay. I only wish gramps was here to see this. But I must say that him being a triad member was shocking to me.” Yuji shrugged. “Sukuna explained what happened to you. I am so sorry, I couldn’t be of help.”
“Yuji, you have nothing to apologize for.” You hug him again, relieved that he was safe. “Thank you, Sukuna”
“What are you thanking me for? He’s my brother too. I have been looking for my family for ages now. I should be the one thanking you, you dumb bitch” He looked annoyed.
“Hey. Be nice.” Yuji pointed a finger at his older brother. They looked so similar but yet they were so different. Their personalities were completely different. Sukuna was taller than Yuji by a few inches, He was more muscular and his hair was wild compared to Yuji. Yuji’s expressions were softer and Sukuna’s seemed cold. The tattoos on Sukuna were the most obvious comparison.
“Not my style, kid. Gojo wants to meet both of you in 10 minutes. I’ll see you outside.” He leaves and shuts the door behind him.
“Yuji. Stay here while I go get dressed.” You instruct him as you rummage through different bags. Your arm still hurt a lot so you decided to wear a hoodie with a zipper and shorts. Wearing a bra with your arm and bruises was not up for debate. You hoped no one would notice. You grab your clothes and go to the bathroom to change. You change your clothes and you let down your ponytail. Your hair was a mess. You combed your hair with the brush on the bathroom shelf. Once you felt ready, you walked out of the bathroom.
“Sukuna said we will have to move because it is no longer safe in this city. He also got my stuff from home. Where do you think we should go?” Yuji stood up and opened the door for you.
“I don’t know, Yuji. Guess we’ll find out now.” You offer a small smile and walk out of this room for the first time. You walk across the hallway to a common area. The common area was 5 times the size of the room you were in. It was luxurious. Chandeliers, glass tables, expensive décor, sectional sofas, a bar table. You had only seen this type of room on the internet or TV. You felt out of place.
“Hello (Y/N) and this is Yuji, I presume.” Gojo extends his hand to Yuji. Yuji looks at you. You nod and he then shakes Gojo’s hand.
“I am Satoru Gojo, your brother’s friend.” Gojo guides the two of you to take a seat. You sit on the sofa and Yuji sits beside you.
Nanami and Gojo sat across you and Yuji while Sukuna sat near the bar table.
“So, now that everyone’s here. I would like to tell you guys my plan. Since the SnK are not going to give up hunting for (Y/N), I have decided to protect her and Yuji. She’s the legal guardian of Yuji and Yuji is Sukuna’s brother. We don’t turn our backs on our friends.” Gojo looks at Sukuna. Sukuna nods in agreement.
You sigh in relief. At least you were going to be alive.
“This also means that this city is not safe for the both of you. So naturally, I have decided to have you both live in the Mansion Sukuna and I share. It is in the capital and it is quite spacious to accommodate us all and more. I am sorry I can’t ship you off to a different country, (Y/N) that’s too risky at this point.”
You knew that something was off. If you were under his protection, surely he could have managed to protect you from a distance as well. You figured that he was keeping you around for Sukuna’s sake. If you moved, Yuji had to move with you until he was of legal age. It was either that or something else.
“Yuji, we are going to enroll you in a private school for your safety. All the elite send their kids to this school and you can continue your education,” Sukuna says as he pulls out a glass from behind the table and begins to pour himself a drink.
“And as for you (Y/N), given your recent degree in business administration, I have decided that you’ll be my secretary.” Gojo grins at you.
Your eyes widen at his statement. Being his secretary meant that you would have to monitor all his activities for him and make sure everything is in proper order for him. “Absolutely not!” You protested.
“Unless you just want to live in a mansion like a prisoner, I don’t see you having any other choice, (Y/N).”
His plan did not make sense to you. As his secretary, you would always have to be around him which would expose you to the SnK. It slowly dawned on you as to what he wanted to do.
“Can I speak with you in private?” You get up and slowly walk towards your room.
“Sure. Until (Y/N) agrees to this, I don’t see this discussion continuing further. Nanami and Sukuna, can you show Yuji to his room please?” He follows you to the room.
You enter the room and stand by the door, waiting for him. Once he enters the room, you close the door so that Yuji doesn’t hear you.
“What in the world are you trying to do?” You were angry.
“I am trying to protect you. For fuck’s sake, why can’t you see that?” Gojo looked annoyed.
“You’re using me as bait. I am not stupid. You want me to be around you so that you can lure your enemies.” You clench your jaws. You were offended that he thought you were too stupid to see through his plans.
He looked surprised. “So what if I am?” His nostrils flared. You could sense that he was angry as well.
“I do not want to be a part of this. Whatever this is…” You wave your hand around.
“Nothing will happen to you, (Y/N). As long as I am here, I can assure you that nothing will happen to you. When all this is over, you can go to wherever the fuck you want to go and I’ll help you with that. For now, all I want to do is to find out what the SnK want and then you can go.” He walks towards you and you take a few steps back until you are cornered against the wall.
“Why do you keep running away? I have enough power to protect you.” His body is a few inches away from yours… His hands brush against your hair. Your mind was split into two. Pushing him away or pulling him closer. You wanted him to fuck you senseless but at the same time, you wanted to keep your distance from this man.
“I am running away from trouble.” Your voice trembled.
“It seems like you are running away from me.” He says softly.
“You are trouble, Gojo Satoru.” You whisper as his lips brush against yours.
Your heart was screaming in your chest. This was happening. How many times had you daydreamed about this? You had lost count. You could smell his aftershave, a musky scent that reminded you of leather and woods. You put your arm around him as he pulls you close. You close your eyes as he kisses you and the world fades away. It was like fireworks and starlights. You could feel your body getting excited. His teeth grazed your lower lip and you opened your mouth to him. As his tongue danced against yours, you note that he tasted like smoke, mint, and honey. Your shaking fingers were tangled in his silky hair. You’d never felt so real in a long time. His hands slide to your thigh, gently lifting you up and pressing you against him. You felt him through his pants against your core. He was hard and you began to slowly roll your hips against him. He ran his finger along your spine making you shiver. His hands moved to the zipper of your hoodie. He seemed impatient to get the zipper down. He opens your hoodie jacket and his hands touch the skin of your hips. His hands slowly move up towards your breast, just as they glide up your ribs, you wince in pain. He pulls away from you and looks at your bare chest. You see what he sees. Your skin was covered with black and purple bruises from Mahito’s attacks.
Gojo’s demeanor changes upon looking at you. He runs his hand through his hair due to frustration and turns around.
“Get dressed.” He orders.
“They’re not as bad as they look… “ You try to explain.
“(Y/N). Just get dressed please.”
You quickly zip up your jacket. The moment that you guys had was gone. You sort your hair as he turns around.
“We’ll make him pay, (Y/N). For what he did to you and your friend. All you need to do is follow my lead. Just trust me on this. No one is going to hurt you if they know I am on your side.” He crosses his arms.
“Okay. Only on two conditions.” You count with your fingers. “One. Yuji never gets involved in any of your illegal activities.”
“I can agree to that.”
“And two. If you are going to involve me in anything. You’re going to be honest and transparent with me. No hiding your motives, or plans from me. I want you to be upfront rather than keeping me in the dark.” You raise your second finger. “Do we have a deal?”
Gojo nods and extends his hand. “Deal. Let’s shake on it.”
You shake his hand and hope that you could trust this man to keep you and Yuji safe.

💻, 🖊 and 👀 for the fanfic ask game.
💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?
I answered this here, but another thing I do research on is geography. I have a lot of headcanons about the temperature and terrain of the Avatar world (which may or may not match the show) and spend a lot of time making sure I understand how that affects the characters. Are they hot? Cold? Thirsty? Is it windy here? What kinds of animals? What season is it now? It's not the same as the kind of research I need to do when Asami wants to build something, but it's something I spend a lot of time making sure I get right.
🖊 Post a snippet from a current WIP.
In fact, the Jasmine Dragon was doing so well now that the owner, Lu Ten, had brought up to her and June the idea of opening a second shop under Asami’s exclusive management. With the new mecha she’d been building they wouldn’t even have to rely on finding interested firebenders. Asami had said she’d think about it. She thought a lot these days.
She went back to the books and started line by line, looking for anything that cost more than it should. The new red tea from Chin was running a bit pricey, but like most of the specials it was a top seller as well. That wouldn’t explain the gap. They were probably over-paying for rice flour, too, but she’d already brought that up with Lu Ten and, like the red tea, it wasn’t a big enough problem to account for the difference. Maybe something in staffing? The Jasmine Dragon paid well. Yet they were so busy they’d needed the two new servers.
Asami rubbed her temple, then abruptly slammed the books shut. She could look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes. She’d get nowhere tonight, and anyway she’d promised Hu-Ning she’d meet her and a few of her friends at the non-bender club. There wasn’t anything romantic between them now—Asami didn’t have the heart for it—but it was something to do. It was a life.
👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
I'd hardly call it a WIP, but @barelyaware and I may have had a bit to drink last night that resulted in a challenge to write Irosami as the donkey and dragon from Shrek. Iroh the dragon loves his pretty little donkey very much but sadly it is too cursed to ever be published.

The Legend Of Korra finale (The Day of the Colossus + The Last Stand)
Let me begin by saying that I loved LOK just as much as ATLA. But, even more for this reason, the last two episodes disappointed me greatly.
These are just my thoughts and if you disagree that's fine. I'm open to a civilized conversation but no straight - up hate.
Korrasami. I know this is a major ship in the fandom and I like it - well, I like the idea. But the way it was developed -or rather, it wasn't - really bugs me. Korra and Asami had a connection and were friends, but that's even hardly shown on screen: out of the main group, Asami is the person Korra surely interacts the less
They seem to be growing closer (Korra writes Asami when she's at the South Pole, and not Bolin or Mako) but she's Korra's only (girl)friend, to whom she can talk freely. That's a great friendship but I can't see anything romantic until, perhaps, the very last scene of the show. It just feels like they wanted to hurry into the romance without any build up and, if I didn't know they were canon in the comics, I would still consider this a fanon ship. That's a shame because, again, I think Korra and Asami had potential but they completely wasted it.
Kuvira. I didn't have a strong opinion on her at the beginning. "Here comes another power thirsty character" I thought, but one way or another I started liking her: her relationship with Baatar Jr, her determination, her amazing fighting style. But at the end she just... Sat down with Korra, told her her tragic past and that's it? That felt like a Naruto filler episode. One moment she's running away, refusing to give up even though she's been beaten and the next she just does.
And what about the rest of the army? Didn't she have generals who were capable of leading the attack after she was captured? They gave up way too easily. Again, it felt like they wanted to end it quickly and were running out of time
Team Avatar -or lack thereof. They all had amazing moments: Korra fighting the Colossus, Asami working with her dad, Mako and Bolin (even though I wish we saw more of them) being awesome. But they didn't have a proper moment together as a team: nor before, nor during, nor after the battle.
Korra just f**king off to the Spirit World. The city was destroyed, everything was a mess and she takes a vacation with her girlfriend? Not to mention she had promised Prince Wu to help him in the transition from monarchy to republic the Earth Kongdom was going to face... But she just leaves, God knows for how long. Did she learn nothing after she disappeared for three years and Kuvira had no one to stop her? Once again, when the world needed her the most, the Avatar vanished. The romantic trip into the Spirit World could wait some months.
The whole last battle. I hoped to see old characters from all the books coming back, fight, team up, but it didn't happen. Was the Fire Nation there to help? Were the Northern and Southern Tribe? Izumi promised she would help defend Republic City (was her army there, though?) what about Korra's father? He just stayed out of it? Waiting for Kuvira to attack his tribe next? Who knows.
What happens to everyone else? Avatar: The Last Airbender leaves us with a lot of questions, but some of them are answered in Korra. What happens to everyone else? Do Bolin and Opal stay together? Does Mako find a girlfriend? What happens to the Air Nation and all the Airbenders, like Jinora and Kay? The Beifong gang? The rest of the characters? I'm happy to see Korra and Asami living their best life on their trip, but what about everyone else?
There were good things, too. I loved how the Earth benders worked together to stop the giant robot, Kuvira and Korra's fight, Asami's father's death. Verrick and everything he did, the idea of turning the Earth Kingdom into a republic AND Prince Wu growth. But the last two episodes didn't live up to what I was expecting from this series.

Hi again! So you finished turf wars pt 2??? What did you think when korra almost said then L word but stopped bc she is a bisexual gay who can’t express her feelings??
Hello again!
I definitely do think that scene was teasing for the big L word, but it probably is something that will happen in Turf Wars part 3.
I think what was really interesting is the set up before that whole scene happened. We saw Raiko being his shitty self again with blaming Korra for the crisis that Republic City is currently facing due to her *amazing* feat of opening the spirit portal. She is also ridiculed for taking a vacation. The worst part is that some of the citizens of Republic City immediately go against her, questioning her ability of being a good Avatar. And ugh, that kid with the whole “Avatar Korra ruined my life” was very reminiscent of the kid in Book 2 with the “you’re the worst Avatar ever” comment.
This harsh judgement and lack of faith is something that Korra has faced MULTIPLE times throughout the show, and here it is once again in Turf Wars part 2 (and it pains me Every.Single.Time - I really hate it). She’s done everything for the world, yet she’s constantly being questioned and it clearly hurt her. And as a result, we see her starting to doubt herself and not counter Raiko’s obscene comments.
Instead, we see Asami defending Korra, going so far as to say “You have some nerve for such a coward. When Republic City needed a true leader, Korra stepped up.” towards Raiko. And once again, Asami shows just how loyal she is towards Korra and how much she believes in her as both an individual and as an Avatar.
When we couple this with Asami saying “There are always going to be problems to deal with. But as long as we stick together, we’ll be able to overcome anything,” I think that struck a really deep cord in Korra. Her she was, face to face with the one person that believed in her the most - the one person that would never leave her side no matter how hard things would become. And I think in that moment, Korra really did want to “I love you”.
But of course, when you’re two inches away from the thirstiest girl in Republic City, your mind kinda melts and you become a blushing gay mess who can’t’ express their feelings… Poor Asami, that little “sigh” at the end really show cased that sorta thirsty/sexual frustration. She just wanted some lovin’ on her desk, after all. Is that too much to ask for?
Sorry, this went on much longer than I intended XD.

Some Turf Wars: Part 2 thoughts
Ok so this is all immediate opinion and I read a pretty bad scan because I’’m currently broke but here is my general thoughts; both positive and negative:
- Lots of cute character moments! I especially love Kora and Asami is soft looks at each other, the date set-up and Asami being thirsty for Korra hell yes.
- Bolin and Mako and being cops together warms my heart yes boys on the beat go delve into your past and stuff.
- Zhu-Li running for president is pretty fun. Again, character moments.
- Wayyyyyy too much going on, I think a lot of the plot points seema little rushed because they’re cramming in what feels like to me a whole season worth of plot  into one three-part comic. So like, the korrasami moments are what I see being talked about the most because they’re the most digestable part, whereas the actual plot is just a bit unispired. I don’t really think there is actualy really development going on here, its exploring Korra and Asami’s in the most unipspired way (they’’re together now, and the plot is happening despite this).. Like, my favourite moment in hte series so far was part 1 sheere the two characters just intereaacted in the spirit world and confirmed their romance.
- Why was homophobia introduced into this universe when it reallly doesn’t seem to be affecting the plot or characters or anything? Like, part 1 made a  point of showing that the characters could be homophobic, but no-one is homophobic yet and everyone seems to be fine with it apart from Mako, and I can just visualise the part in part 3 where Mako sincerely tells Asami and Korra he is happy for their relationship and gets over his awkwardness in like a page  and I willl wonder what the point of this was. You could argue that the homophobia is just worldbuilding and fleshing out the world, but I still feel if they made a point of talking about it, then it should actually intersect with the main plot. I have changed my opinion on what the world would be like since I read part 1 and I’m not convinced the avatar world would be that homphobic, but it snow, but it also isn’t, because the series doesn’t actually want to look nto homophobia, so why was it introduced.
- However, this is the bridge chapter being the beginning and the last part, and it feels like it. The end can be the emotional highpoint of any series, so my opinion on this series is still open to change and I might still find some of the plot actually emotionally compelling..
- The art is very pretty. Sometimes the backgrounds are uninteresting and panels and movements look a little off but overall its very pretty, especially Korra and Asami’s soft looks.
- Why is Asami’s lip colour so dark in this series?
Overall, I enjoyed Turf Wars Part 2 and I’m happy to spend any more canon time with these characters, but I think the dense plot means that we don’t have much of a chance to linger on any actual romantic development between Korra and Asami. LIke, 5 or 6/10.

And heeeere's Fanart Friday! I was torn between giving Korra a pretty dress or putting her in a snazzy suit because korra in a suit would be the hottest thing ever but in the end I decided on a dress. I'm pretty sure Korra and Asami, after all their shenanigans and their peacekeeping duties, would go for a lovely wedding in the spirit world or some area where the two places intersect. I just have a lot of feelings and am very thirsty for the comic to come out omg i'm hoping it'll be available here otherwise, screw it i will order it. I NEED IT.

Thirsty for a different kind of movie, I tried ‘Close Range Love‘ (also known as ‘Kinkyori Renai’) without much thought. I mean, I downloaded it a couple of months ago and forgot what it’s all about, so it’s too late to back out when I figured it’s a teacher-student kind of forbidden romance after a few minutes of obvious hints where the two protagonists become involved with each other.
Don’t get me wrong. I used to read about this kind of manga series back in my high school days, but as I’ve matured from that kind of mind setting that it’s okay for an underage teen to fall for her teacher who’s an adult, I realized that in reality this is one type of relationship that will surely get frowned upon: (1) because it’s socially unacceptable for a teacher or anyone to be in a relationship with someone that young, (2) it’s immoral, (3) totally irresponsible of that teacher to not separate his own feelings from work and to encourage his student about her own feelings. Those are only a few things, but the end result may be the same: both of them will be ruined in the end if the yet caught.
But I’m pretty sure you and I are well aware how Japanese artists and writers are very diverse when it comes to topics about love. Anything is possible, even forbidden love–incest, teacher-student relations, yaoi, yuri and all that yada. As long as you have an open mind (to an extent possible), I think that you will learn to appreciate their writings in some ways, just like how I found ‘Kinkyori Renai’ likable to an extent. Not totally like it, but found things okay, since I still can’t find the relationship acceptable, well not unless Yuni is finally legal and can think for herself and Haruka still likes her by then.
Anyway, to sum up my experience, the film isn’t my cup of tea but I liked it to some extent as its able to deliver a story, though unconventional, that can be deep and moving and that is not complicated (looking at the big picture) and which is modest. It’s perfect for a night movie marathon before sleep.
The story
Kururugi Yuni (Nana Komatsu) is a high school prodigy who has a difficult time expressing herself. And whilst having top grades in all her subjects, she isn’t doing so well in English and so her English class teacher, Haruka Sakurai (Tomohisa Yamashita) gives her temporary private one on one English lessons.
But when Yuni’s guardian who is also the school’s maths teacher, Kazuma Akechi (Arai Hirofumi), notices the differences in Yuni’s behaviour, he decides to put a stop to the tutoring.
With the encouragement of her only friend, Nanami Kikuko (Mizuki Yamamoto), Yuni realizes that she has fallen in love with her teacher, Sakurai who also happens to be admired by every girl in school. Every time Yuni has the chance to express the way she feels to Sakurai, she isn’t able to do so.
But finally, Yuni musters up the courage to confess to her teacher and tries to do so by using a notebook that reads “I hate you teacher but I also like you. What should I do?”. At first, Sakurai doesn’t acknowledge Yuni’s feelings until one day in class, Sakurai purposely drops a pen to lean towards her, when Yuni is hiding under his desk before kissing her.
Trying to keep it a secret, Sakurai doesn’t know that the new homeroom teacher of Yuni’s class, Mirei Takizawa (Asami Mizukawa), who is being shown around, coincidentally sees the incident between them.
When a co-teacher introduces Mirei to Sakurai, Sakurai is surprised to see his childhood friend again. Mirei tells Sakurai what she saw and that she still has feelings for him. But things develop further between Yuni and Sakurai when Mirei tries to stop their relationship by taking a photo of Sakurai and Yuni hugging each other as she passes them. Mirei shows the photo to Akechi when he asks for Mirei’s help to keep an eye on her as he is concerned about her strange behavior which leads to Akechi confronting Sakurai and asking him to leave Yuni as she has given up her dreams of going to her dream college for Sakurai. Akechi asks Sakurai to encourage her to study abroad which he is reluctant to do but does out of care for Yuni.
Heartbroken when Sakurai cuts ties between the two of them, Yuni decides to follow her dreams. However she is unable to forget him after leaving to study at the University of California and she soon returns to Japan to confront him again. The two of them finally reconcile at the beach where they had their first date.

Review
I realized early in the movie that this isn’t my type of thing, but tried very hard to hold on to the hope I’ll somehow feel gripped to watched it entirely. Sadly, though I know its a good movie with an interesting story line, I started skipping scenes halfway through.
I’m not really a patient person when it comes to things that aren’t able to grab my interest on the first go, so I skim the length of it to get the gist of the story, which is much or less the plot for most student-teacher relationship stories: student feels the strong attraction for her teacher and tries her best to win him, but teacher tries his best to not encourage her, yet eventually falls head over heels for the 16-ish girl at some point and they start dating secretly until some jealous girl (who’s crushing on the handsome teacher) tries to ruin the relationship and they will have to separate for good and meet someday in better circumstances either still madly in love or moved on.
To say it simply, I feel that the movie is a bit predictable and plot driven that plot holes are bound to happen. Say for example, Yuni’s character is written as someone who finds it difficult to express her emotions. However, this behavior was never explained throughout the movie unlike how they explained Haruka Sakurai’s personality and why he hates people who lie and doesn’t trust women much. Haruka’s father loved telling him what he thought were make up stories when he was a kid. He looked so happy on the outside and Haruka didn’t see his father’s death coming because of his lies. That must have truly traumatized and hurt Haruka badly that he doesn’t give much care even if he must know he’s generally a likable person appearance-wise.
We get nothing about Yuni’s backstory, but the superficial background wherein she’s being taken care of by her uncle Akechi because her parents are working abroad. Well, this may be an unsaid thing for her but it doesn’t say much either that perhaps the reason why Yuni feels so detached from her feelings stems from lack of affection she gets from her parents. That could be it or not.
On the other hand, whilst a lack of behind story about Yuni, she has shown progressive changes to her personality after she meets the insufferable Teacher, Haruka, and eventually she becomes attracted to him to the point she burst of excitement even though she didn’t know what to do, that by impulse she searches for Haruka and ends up hiding under the podium he is using in front of the class. The risk is worth it for her though because Haruka answers to her own confused feelings by giving her a kiss. This development in Yuni’s character is very significant, because it really showed Nana Komatsu not as herself but a teen who’s believably head over heels for her teacher.
It doesn’t mean, however, that because Haruka has a rich background that presently speaking in the story it helped him with his situation in some ways. His cold personality despite showing pleasant emotions towards his other students and the fact he knows it’s wrong to have feelings for one of them, Yuni, has shown his hesitance about making a step forward and only hurt her feelings. He had become two-faced that it’s hard to discern whether his feelings for her (at first) are sincere. And when he jumped into a relationship with her, it’s hard to figure how he came to like her with the way he acted before towards her. It’s even harder to digest that he has suggested marriage to a 16-ish girl like that. If I were her mother, I’d slap this guy for even thinking that. Clearly, he’s not on his right mind while in love with her, which is most of the time bad for a relationship. It makes him look impulsive even if he’s portrayed as someone usually calm and collected.
But oh well, where does all the logic and rationalization go when in love? In the trash bin. No one’s just smart enough when falling in love.
Gladly, there’s not much complication shown that they went through, even though I suppose it’s inevitable for a relationship like this to travel a rocky path. It has stayed a quiet relationship all throughout, which is totally cool with me, but didn’t boast much of the relationship itself as the development stops to intensify after they jump into the boat. There’s just a bit of this and that and then the other characters has short appearances to go in between them.
This movie couldn’t have shone on its own if not for the great actors Komatsu Nana and Yamapi. From what I’ve researched, Nana was 16 around the time this was shot while Yamapi was 28, so the age gap itself it quite impressive. The chemistry between them ain’t explosive but it’s the right blend that I cannot hate them despite the unconventional theme. In better circumstances, I would have liked everything, since both have done a nice job owning their characters. Nana may have appeared flat in the beginning of the story, but her gestures as the inexpressive Yuni made up for the lack of emotions shown on her face. Eventually, she got better as Yuni starts to show more emotions on the latter part of the film. As for Yamapi, I’ve never seen any of his other projects, but I think he has shown enough skills to appear believable as a high school teacher who fell in love with his student. Though that’s very standard for male characters in Japanese movies, he’s actually good… and handsome too…
Rating:
Over all, it’s a good movie though it’s not my cup of tea. The actors are really good too. Yuni’s odd at first, but she looks natural and not animated unlike heroines in other Japanese films. Yamapi is as well another discovery to look forward too in this one. He’s a total eye candy. And though the story itself  isn’t much remarkable, it’s good as it can get.
Rating it, I give it 3.5 out of 5.

Hey! I’m gonna hop on this bandwagon 😁 I’ve been super enjoying seeing all your sketches - they’re all so good!
How about your take on korrasami sleepy morning cuddles?
Alternatively: Korra working out and Asami, well, reacting.
Okay, so since you sent this I already had a work out idea… and it got a lil out of hand and here I am 5 panels and a TERRIBLE Spanish translation later (please don’t crucify me if it’s awful 🥺)
Spanish is supposed to say something like “the things you do to me…”

I think I may have to take this to final..
