Aromantics are valid.
Asexuals are valid.
Aroaces are valid.
The world doesn't revolve around relationships, grow the fuck up.
If someone is happy single, then they are fucking happy. No, they aren't "wrong in the head", they are valid.
If you don't agree, stay the hell away from me.
There is a '+' in LGBTQ+ for a reason.
The 'A' is NOT for 'Ally', it is for Aromantic, Asexual, and/or AroAce.
People on the Aromantic spectrum and Asexual spectrum are LGBTQ+.

Stonewall's Ace in the UK report is out, and a really worthwhile read about asexual people's experiences in various settings, and additionally, guidance on ways policy could be improved, if you're interested in asexual rights and politics.

Ace Ring
When a black ring is worn on someone's right middle finger it is often showing they are identifying as someone on the asexual spectrum.
Ace rings don't always have to be fully black they can have spots of other colours and it doesn't have to be a plain ring it can have any design that you want.
Many people in the world/outside of the asexual community wouldn't know what an ace ring would me unless asked, so it is a way for other aces to identify each other in the world.
The idea of having an ace ring in the asexual community started on AVEN in 2005 and was a common symbol for asexuals.
I have four different aces rings, all are black but they all have different designs. My first ace ring I ever got was last year in 2022, this was my first ring that I ever got so I was a bit confused on ring sizes, but lucky it was a ring in the shape of a set of wings which I could easily adjust to my ring size.
The next ring I got was a pirate skull with bones as the ring, this one is cool because it has purple jewels in the eyes which purple is in the asexual flag and just fits in well.
Then the next two I got was more plain black but was design as a snake and a feather which they both look great!
Do you have a ace ring? What does yours look like if you do have one, I'm interested to know all the unique designs there are!
Have a good day all!

Asexual PSA
"Oh you're asexual? Okay, but you can't identify with the LGTBQ+ community. It's not just a fun party to join."
No. No it's not. We're here because we want representation. We're here because we want equal rights. What part of "equal rights" do you not understand? If asexuality isn't under the LGTBQ+ umbrella, then what is it? Can we please just stop with the acephobia. We are real, and we go through all the hate other queer people do. We deserve recognition.

To the members who are asexual
Sometimes I feel if I come out as Asexual. People will insist I haven’t found the right partner
Haru: What they say may hurt. But that makes them no less incorrect.
Alix: People aren't born understanding. They can and should learn, though.
Yusuke: And even then, I could afford to respect it with my meager savings.
Makoto: Budgeting time again?
Yusuke nods.

Happy Asexual Awarness Week and here is a little fact a lot of people to do not know about people under The Ace Umbrella! (YES WE CAN CHOOSE TO HAVE SEX/HAVING SEX IS NOT THE SAME AS SEXUAL ATTRACTION)
1: Anyone under the ACE umbrella can have sex if they choose to.
2: Not all demi/ace/grey/any other are repulsed by sex
3: Some of us have high libidos, sex drives, horniness, and hypersexuality that makes us need to get rid of it because it makes you uncomfortable if you dont.
4: Still there are some of us that do not want sex at all.
5: also some aces that choose to have sex because they want to make their partner feel loved (Again not all of them do this)
6: Sex is a choice that any consenting adult can make.
For example in the 80s gay men were married and had kids with straight woman. These gay men were still very much gay but did have intercourse with staight woman.
SEXUAL ACTS DO NOT DEFINE SEXUAL ATTRACTION
Yes some Ace and Demi and others Are Sex postive and have casual meaningless sex (I was one of those demi before I met my partner as I am hypersexual but never been attracted to anyone but my partner(s) throughout my life. Though I still enjoy the physcial act of sex even if I do not cum)
yes some Ace and Demi and Others only like to rp or fanatsies about sex I have good friends who I rp with who are ace who are the kinkiest fucks you will ever meet in a rp but want NOTHING to do with real sex
Yes some Ace and Demi and Others have sex to be intimate with their partner but it is their choice in the end.
Yes Some Ace and Demi and Others do not want sex at all and some are even grossed out by it.
Asexuality Umbrella is a spectrum of who you are and there is almost no wrong way to be part of it. JUST DONT ASSUME We Are ALL GROSSED OUT BY IT BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY THING YOU EVER HEARD.
Thinking that all ace spetrum is the same is putting us all in a box when a lot of us are different. And their are so many sexualities under the ace umbrella.
(sorry but honestly we need to say this more because I do not know how many times a man or woman said they can “Fix me” or that people like me are not really ace or demi because of me just enjoying a physical act.)

The History Of Asexuality
Asexuality was first sort of mentioned in 1869 by a Hungarian doctor called Karl-Maria Kertbeny where he created and published pamphlets against a sodomy law in Germany against the criticism of different sexual orientations. In these pamphlets he mentioned different sexual orientations which one of them was "monosexual" which in todays time means when someone feels romantic or sexual attraction to only one gender, but in kertbendy's pamphlets his view of the word "monosexual" meant people who only masturbate.
The first definition of asexuality was in Germany in 1897 when a German sexual reformist called Emma Trosse in which she mentioned asexuality as well as same sex attractions in her work trying to get the state to get their rights instead of disagreeing with those people.
A photograph where asexuality was mentioned was during the 1970s San Francisco Gay freedom Day Parade and Festival in the photo (which was taken by Crawford Barton in 1973) it is two people holding a sign which says "Gay, Straight, Bisexual, Asexual: All God's Children Need Love."
Then in 2001 David Jay founded Aven which was a organization for asexuals from everywhere in the world. They wanted to create a safe space for asexuals and for the people who wanted to understand or ask questions about asexuals. This was one of their aims to get the acceptance from non-asexuals and to create a safe place for asexuals.
But this was only a small amount of history I quickly went through, there is so much history on asexuality that I could go through if people wanted to hear about it. So tell me if you would like more history on asexuality!
Have a good day!

Hello, everyone.
As Pride Month falls upon us, I just want to say something:
I will not stand for asexual, aromantic, or nonbinary erasure/discrimination from anyone--including others in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our struggles may not always be the same as those of other sects of the community, but that doesn't mean we don't belong. We aren't "fakers" or "posers." We aren't looking to "usurp" you or make others take you less seriously by drawing attention to ourselves. We just want equal and equitable treatment to cishet people in law and in society, just like all of you.
If you still take issue with us simply existing, don't read my content anymore. Unfollow me. Block me. Whatever. Just get out. My page is a safe place for people of all marginalized identities, including those who identify as aromantic, asexual, or nonbinary. This isn't a place for bigots in any form, whether they be open about their views or masquerading as champions of equality. Animal Farm isn't a guidebook; certain groups are not "more equal than others." We must fight for equity and equality together, and Pride Month is a crucial time to emphasize this.
Happy Pride Month.
