My sexuality is not up for debate. I don’t care if you disagree or accept me for who I am but you’re not going to stand there and try to invalidate my entire existence.

It is SO important to me that there are separate characters in Heartbreak High that are openly celibate alongside an openly asexual character. Because being asexual does not mean you are celibate. It is a sexual orientation, not a choice.
Cash Piggott was already the best asexual representation I've ever seen, but season two has really solidified that.
Thank you Netflix. It's such a minor detail but it meant the world.

[DISCLAIMER: I know that this is actually a super nuanced topic and for example, it’s important to see queer sex in media but I needed to make the celibacy gif joke. You understand.]

Okay, does anyone know the context of that one gif with the K-pop band (I assume) being interviewed and then the one stands up and starts posing while "CELIBACY" is superimposed over them? This one:

Every time I see it, I always wonder where it came from, and the question torments me.

Sorry Asexuals, I don’t believe in this I believe in celibacy, 5yrs for me to reevaluate your sexual priorities or address health issues or paying to play. Since Sex workers are being the MOST sexually responsible if they are sexually active as everyone wants a taste, it was important I took time off to decide what was smartest and safest for me and others. The “incel” culture I think is odd, they’re basically asexuals who couldn’t or think they can’t get laid so they gave up. I suppose some of you just like the IDEA of sex but sex is an ACTION it isn’t an idea but we all got our things. I’m thrilled to have sex with at least 6 millionaires then 150 average earners who are amazing lovers on film before this is all over.
Sex is risk, I get why you’re asexual but I’m thrilled to end my celibacy. lol Breaks are good, my situation Is vastly different. I got herpes at 23yrs old after years of hooking up with older men from 14-22yrs old with men 18-65yrs old when I was young as well, I consented I loved it I just wish they PAID me, only regret. Their secret is safe with TIME. Lucky they got young me, fuckers. HSV2, found out on my 23rd BDAY I thought it was the end of my sexual life as I didn’t ever wanna pass it. It’s a shame people get STDs or hiv and just say “Fuck it, imma be sexually reckless and spread it”.
BUG chasers also exist young men, they seek to get permanent disease to not have to fear it anymore which was a toxic thing the LGBT community allowed to grow in the pozzing community, sure the undetectable gays tried to stop it but they also just wanted everyone to still fuck men with HIV and shame men HIV negative with herpes, like myself. Testing 6 times a year for HIV to make sure I was HIV negative was/is smart as should YOU or every 14 days if you’re meeting new partners weekly, herpes I eventually found out wasn’t a death sentence nor was it the end of my sexual life, just had to make HUGE changes…
To be continued. https://linktr.ee/rainbow_raven27

Talking to my ex bf and he was telling me about how he was talking about me with someone in one of his uni classes and told them that I'm aroace. He then tells me that the person was like, "Oh... so, like, a eunuch?"
First of all, no. Second of all, that is hilarious. Third of all, the word you were looking for is 'celibate' and the answer is still no.
A eunuch is a person who had their testicles removed. I cannot be a eunuch for one simple reason. I am biologically female.
Celibacy is the act of abstaining from marriage or sexual relationships. I am not celibate due to the fact that celibate's experience sexual/romantic attraction. I do not.

I wish non-straight allosex folks would realize that when I, a sex-adverse asexual, celebrate and am proud of my own celibacy, I’m not just another victim of purity culture. I’m just celebrating and being proud of the way in which my sexuality differs from the heterosexual norm, the same way they are when they celebrate and are proud of their sex lives.
Like, I get that our experiences have been used by our allocishetronormative society as weapons to hurt each other, but could they please work on their own trauma enough to realize that celibacy isn’t inherently a bad thing, and them shaming people who don’t have sex for whatever reason is still a version of policing other people’s sex lives and doesn’t make them as sex positive as they think they are.
We’re all being hurt by allocishetetronormativity! Don’t punish me because the freedom I found from it is different than yours!

People who have sex are so ridiculous. “OMG I haven’t had sex in months, I NEED to hook up with the first person I find attractive.” You didn’t have sex for the first several years of your life and you were fine. I promise you can live without it

being subjected to the horrors (<- saw a twitter post saying that asexuals can still participate in sexual activities and enjoy it be mass QRTed to hell and is once again pissed off at the overwhelmingly negative online attitude towards asexuals and asexuality in general)

Hey y’all, since I’ve seen a couple posts like this, making fun of people for not having sex is not only inconsiderate to asexual people it’s also just… asshole behavior???? Whether or not someone has sex is not only their choice but also none of your fucking business. Why does it matter to you?? Let people live their lives
