so at this point I’m already in love but then you throw Penelope and Derek scheming in the mix and I’m on freaking cloud nine- the way they baited him into asking for help?? the way I could fully see the smirk Derek would make in that moment?? “How would I tell her she’s all I think about?” BYE I’M SOBBING 😭

THEN YOU WENT AND HAD HIM START ASKING HER OUT WITH A STAT JUST TO HAVE HER TURN AROUND AND ASK HIM (AND THE “ONLY IF IT’S A DATE” LINE?!) — I WAS A PILE OF MUSH ON THE FLOOR

The real kicker though??? When you went full circle with three minutes and twenty eight seconds I smiled so big when I read that 🥲

first off this concept is absolute gold ✨ I’m a sucker for fics that include the team full on being aware that love is in the air while Spencer and the reader are all 🤷🏽‍♀️ so I was in love from the very first sentence (but by the end I was jumping up and down because WOW)

and the opening where you talk about all of the teams comfort items brought me so much joy (and it made the moment where Spencer put his comfort item that he doesn’t share with anyone on the reader even more of a scream worthy moment!)

“for whatever reason he would even be completely ok with you using him as your own personal blanket” BABY YOU ARE IN LOVE ♥️

and the way you added the fact about losing body heat before he gave reader the blanket?? ugh I love that bc I just know that’s exactly how he would justify his actions

(and the team having a gossip sesh?? that was the definition of relatable 🙌🏽)

and when reader repaid the favor by sharing their pillow?? yup yup I’m swooning from all the obvious love in the air 💕

SCREAMING AT THE NOTEBOOK THOUGH!!! this was such a perfect idea and I love the fact that they all started keeping track (and kept Pen in the loop lol)

the list of things they do for each other though... JUST KISS ALREADY YA’LL ‼️‼️‼️

I’m also such a sucker for comfort in fics 🥺 so the way spencer worried over their injury and cuddled them on the way home had me in a complete ball of mush from all the cuteness (and then two seconds later I was jumping for joy because of THE HEAD KISS!!!)

‘make that 88’ omg I can’t even explain how happy reading this made me?? I go back to it every now and then because it never fails to brighten my day and I’m so grateful that you shared it with us!

it’s not a secret that I’m amazed by your talent on the daily- the way you’re able to create such intricate and captivating worlds never fails to impress me (seriously, teach me your ways!) It’s impossible to just pick one, so I’m gonna talk about the infinite amount of love I have for streets and be there for me under the cut!

I LOVE streets with my whole heart- the opening brings me so much comfort, and the way you word it feels like a cup of tea on a cold day. and the line ‘not one of them in the entire world had even compared to the gem that was spencer reid’?! it makes me wanna cry (in the very best way bc it’s so true- hey universe, where’s my spencer?)

and the repetition of the statistic as an introduction to his insecurities was absolutely brilliant and once again I wanna scream about your talent from the rooftops because WOW

I just adore how you set the stage for what’s to come (even though we don’t know it yet!) in this part and made the reader’s feelings so clear.

which made the next part even more painful bc WOW AGAIN my heart broke when he showed her the napkin

(but that didn’t compare to how much it broke when we found out spencer’s date stood him up 😭)

I love how derek is the one that comforted reader and he and penelope knew what was up the whole time- that’s just so in character for them!

“sometimes he just wanted to give the push you two clearly needed, but he was stopped with penelope telling himself constantly that you two needed to find one another in your own time, just like the tech analyst did with agent morgan” BRB SCREAMING THAT YOU INCLUDED MY BABIES IN LOVE

and then when spencer was insecure about the date and reader reassured him/ helped him get ready even though the last thing she wanted was for him to go on that date?? SHE LOVES HIM SO MUCH!

I adored the glimpse at morcia having the cutest Valentine’s Day ever omg ♥️♥️♥️ but when we learned about Spencer’s night?? 💔💔💔

gosh I felt so bad for him bc what the heck is up with that barista! how do you give someone your number and then just stand them up like 😭

(but also... thanks in a way because it allowed reader to open up and tell Spencer how she feels with the CUTEST letter!!! AND THE ROSES?! YES GIRL 👏🏽)

ugh then he went and held her hand and kissed her and I’m over here yelling about how in love they are and how they deserve all the love in the world (and ending it with “he’s in complete awe of you” WE LOVE A FULL CIRCLE TRANSITION)

and you KNOW that I’m in awe of be there for me. it’s such a flawlessly executed series and the way you were able to intertwine the topics of grief and love (which definitely isn’t an easy task) while simultaneously combining the perfect amounts of fluff and angst in your tale of falling in love in the shadow of grief is stunning.

when I first started reading it I had to force myself to put my phone down and take breaks in between. your writing is absolutely magical and I could 1000% get lost in it all day because every word leaves me in anticipation of what’s to come. and that’s exactly how this series is! every time a new chapter is posted I screech a little and stop what I’m doing so I can read it as soon as I possibly can.

oof this got long but I can’t help but gush over your writing! the fact that everything I read by you takes me on a rollercoaster of emotions and completely gets me lost in the wonderland you create is such a testament to your talent- thank you for sharing your work with us!! 💕

The way you perfectly wrote out all of these actions in the buildup to the big reveal had me on cloud nine 🥰 I was already internally screeching at how adorable the two of them are but then you had the most casual confession of love I’ve ever seen and I’m officially CRYING AT THEIR LOVE AND WISHING I WAS Y/N 😭

“he had quickly worked his way up the ladder of people you wanted to share ‘the little things’ in life with, whether it be personal news, or just a meme that you found funny” once again- I’m in love with their love. this level of comfort is so important and the way you wrote it resonated with me so much? the little things are often the most important things and this brought me an infinite amount of happiness 💚

the prompt was absolutely adorable, and the way you tackled it was stunning- I think music is so telling (especially when it’s in a playlist named after someone) so all those songs?! I could feel the love from here 💕

I love how spencer was questioning if they used ‘my love’ platonically because I just know that would be his thought process. “hope bloomed in his chest for the first time since maeve” that line hit me like a ton of bricks- it was so well placed, and so telling of his mindset in that moment and it made me all the more proud that he picked up the phone and called them.

and then when he asked them to dinner?! it came across so clearly that he was nervous but pushing himself through it and I loved every second- gosh it was just such a sweet moment 🥰

I love everything I’ve read by you, but my all time fave is invisible string for sure! gonna scream about how great this fic is under the cut:

this was the first fic I read by you, and I’m still in awe by how amazing it was! invisible string is one of my favorite taylor songs, and you perfectly connected it to spencer (mixing two of my faves??? yes please 🙌🏽)

the idea of an invisible string connecting you to your soulmate is so beyond romantic to me- so starting the fic by saying you had met him three times before you really met him?? yeah I was hooked from the very first sentence 🥰

I adore the detail you went into about the uniforms at the frozen yogurt shop, it painted a picture so wonderfully in my head right from the start. then you go into the scenario and I just ?!the way the reader dropped the frozen yogurt (and we later found out how thankful she should be that that happened), the sentence about how she ate across town while her manager was taken away in handcuffs, the background details of the team solving the case, the way spencer is the one that called her?! AMAZING 😍

so now at this point I’m swooning over meeting number one just for the second one to drop my jaw to the floor- I wasn’t expecting this to be the dinner date, but the fact that it was makes this moment all the more important!

starting the third meeting with “seven years and a divorce later” had me screaming because I couldn’t believe that much time had passed!!! their invisible strings were working overtime omg- and the book ugh I just 😭😭

ya know when I really lost it though??? when you mentioned how the reader was the woman he would marry and adopt children with before having spencer start their very first conversation with the invisible string story 😭🥰

My favorite is definitely A Loving Hold! You have such an amazing way with words, the descriptions came across so clearly in my head and it felt like I was actually living the story. Spencer having a strong support system is so important to me, and that’s exactly what you gave him with this fic- I’m head over heels in love with it 💛 (gonna elaborate under the cut!)

The flow from his early days with the BAU in comparison to his excitement at having someone to come home to was so beautiful. And the background story of how they got together?! I’m swooning- that’s such an adorable meet-cute 🥰

I think my favorite part of this was the way you were able to perfectly portray the differing ways the reader showed love. From staying up to wait for him and giving him his favorite leftovers to giving him kisses and cuddles you perfectly showed love in its purest forms and it left me a complete puddle of mush 💛
