The human was leaned back against a tree, a small bluebird frantically darting around him in a panic. There was the smell of blood in the air. His hand was pressed over a wound as he winced, his face pale and uncertain. "E-Easy, Beatrice. Toa will find us any minute now..."

He was outside of her territory, but the scent of blood and danger traveling on the winds urged her near. It was a terrible and constant habit of hers- running straight towards such things.

Ash caught sight of him, weakened and dripping blood. A heavy frown set upon her face.

"You are injured," calmly stating the obvious.

"Are you being hunted?"

this is inmani, he’s a magical prodigy that has waged war against the church but due to the fact he is just one man has been constantly on the run from the church as well, lending helping hands when he can. i have a lot of backstory thoughts on him + what hes doing right now so if anyone wants me to be insane i can be <3

I forgot to post this here! These precious babies (Ashivon and Sanga) belong to @toastyglow , I just make art depicting them because I adore them.  This would be while they are spending the night on the snowy mountains with the wives, as depicted in the second animatic “Heaven”. Ashivon stopped eating because he didn’t want to disturb Sanga that fell asleep on him. So he is contemplating the sky, enjoying this little moment of peace. What started as a discussion of voa biology ended up with a very serious matter of how they cry between me and my beta last night. And we both agreed and loved the idea of their bioluminescent eyes illuminating their tears. I can't remember if it was in the discord or in a PDF that Toasty spitballed the concept of Sanga meeting Ash again after she returned from her training. He wanted to hold her hand like old time, but she turned him down (whether the cult had gotten in her mind or what I can't remember the details), and she heard Ashivon sobbing in his cell. I chomped at the bit to illustrate that! I love this cinnamon roll. I have been requested that I do something light hearted after making our favorite cinnamon roll cry.

"Excuse me. You dropped this," Ash insisted, hand extended with the object that had fallen out of their pocket.

Skitter glanced towards the voice before he’d deciphered the words. He flinched away at the sight of the enchanted capsule in someone else’s hand, backing up several steps. One wrist covered his nose as the other raised defensively.

Except that they weren’t activating the capsule, and… of course they wouldn’t know what it was. They were giving it back to him without a second thought.

(‘Dropped’? There was no way he should have dropped it, it had been secure—)

Skitter stepped forward and snatched it from the stranger’s hand, nostrils flaring. He shoved his other hand in the relevant pocket, feeling — crumbling metal and fabric alike, a hole that he hadn’t felt past his undervest. Skitter frowned, eyes darting back to study the path along the way he’d come before focusing intently on the stranger.

He dug out his communication device, typing quickly; held it up for her to read even as he set the voice to play. Every motion was curt and insistent. “Where? How long?”

Divinity

The conversation topic tonight is “Moments that single-handedly changed the way I make things forever” I suppose so.

(You can find the owner and creator here on tumblr too at toastyglow and definitely do, they make so many good things other than just this one particular creation of theirs that im obsessed with)

I may not animate or anything but the way my brain imagines Moments for things im gunna write or draw or like, plot points as a whole was deeply and unexplainably influenced by one particular animation i found three or four-ish years ago and to this day I am with bated breath obsessed with it. Ashivon, Sanga and Tsela live in a special place in my heart. I could talk someones ear off about all the little moments that Kill Me from the original and how much I gush over the following ones, and how violently i am waiting for part 5.

(fucking SPOILERS, but I will never stop thinking about him straining at his own fucking execution all for the sake of a child he’s never met about to live the life he’s experienced or the knife sliding across Sangas chest, every rewatch has me vibrating violently)

(Also tonight specifically, I am thinking a lot about how Ashivon was probably just referred to as The Executioner and how scantly often Sanga and Ashivon would have been alone together safe enough for her to have used his name and how long it might have been since she’s been able to call him by name when they finally escape and thats going to live in my head rent free for a While now.)

"There is no need to promise me such things, Torbek," they assumed that was Torbek's name. Or at least how Torbek reffers to Torbek, which is really at that mattered in the end, "We are all strange, in our own way. Come."

The werwolf gestured for Torbek to follow, leading the bugbear into her home- a cozy log cabin. The front door was larger than a standard frame, made to accommodate a wider variety of beings.

Over on the Escape From Divinity server, they host a Secret Sanga every year. This year was a real treat. I drew Venn, who wished for anything baby voa. I learned a LOT about grooming hair particles and the particle system in Blender to bring them baby Ashivon. Still not 100% happy with my sculpting and modeling skills, but there's still lots of room for improvement!
