I don’t sleep well, merely pretend to be dead for hours, then try to pretend to be awake. set my mind on what human shield I’m going to wear, practice who I’m going to be, and stick to the role, until I believe it. Otherwise i risk exposure

why should I choose love, if it doesn’t serve me ?

I never intended to hurt myself, but I’m not ready to set roots,

Loneliness doesn’t trouble me as much anymore, more like a chronic disease that I’m keeping under control… take it with me wherever i go, maybe store some of it in cupboards or under the bed with the parts of me I leave there when i plan on moving again especially, when I don’t think they fit

But i can’t stomach the idea of being tangled with someone else’s roots.

I don’t want anyone to find a home in me, not the version of me that is created with the lightest bones and the heaviest soul, fragile me…

She doesn’t deserve stage time, not yet.

What if they leave because of her ? Or worst, what if they stay?

The end of season 2 of “Motherland: Fort Salem” left Abigail, Tally, Raelle and Scylla fugitives on the run. Now without a military nor a home, they seek protection alongside the Dodger community in the Cession — but laying low and staying out of trouble has never been their strong suit. With witch hunters working against them from inside the White House, our heroes must call upon ancient forces in the final battle for their right to exist.

The series stars Taylor Hickson, Jessica Sutton, Ashley Nicole Williams, Amalia Holm, Demetria McKinney and Lyne Renée. In addition, fan-favorites Sheryl Lee Ralph (as President Wade), Victor Webster (as Blanton Silver), Tony Giroux (as Adil) and Catherine Lough Haggquist (as Petra Bellweather) will be back as recurring cast members. Artist research, Ashley Blanton.

Ashley Blanton is a mixed-media artist from Asheville, North Carolina, who specializes in depicting psychological landscapes and the transitional areas between internal and exterior experiences in her works on paper.

Natural cycles, such as those of development and decay, descent and emergence, isolation and connection, and how these processes are mirrored in transforming human experiences such as trauma, loss, grief, and healing are what drive Ashley Blanton. Ashley does a great job at showing how things change in her artwork. One thing I did observe was how she would use my favorite painting style—messy, spotty solid colors—in various areas.
