A little “mini comic” from a couple weeks after Ashley was killed. She usually isolates herself in the many empty rooms around the facility because she doesn’t know what to do with herself most of the time. Charles in those early days had a hard time selling her on doing anything besides sit there in a “go outside child” kind of way because Ashley reactivated his dad instincts.

Also yes that’s a lot of blood because Ashley never got that body removed. You can’t see it super well here but if you look closely you can see the shredded remains of Ashley’s neck
