oh my god okay SO i cant talk about vritra without ashtaroth theyre two halves of a whole

they spent nearly all their time together and this was all before yknow lucifer had their little hissy fit and he and many other celestials fell.

what vritra didnt know tho was that ashtaroth felt the same as lucifer and there was tension between the celestials but vritra the sweet dumbass thought everything was fine.

and then the revolution happened. all hell broke loose in heaven and ambushes and allat shit and almsot every celestial that was in the place where vritra was at died and because they was the only survivor it was assumed it was his fault and ashtaroth being who they were was like "yeah its their fault" because they didnt wanna loose vritra bc ashtaroth wasnt gonna stay in heaven so their fate was sealed away with all the other fallen celestials and they were kicked from heaven.

ashtaroth thought that they would remain together because they would both be cast out of heaven but

BOY were they wrong

after that happened, ashtaroth and vritra spent a millennia without eachother, vritras anger festering in his heart for being betrayed by the one person they trusted and loved the most in the universe and ashtaroth longing for the day in which they could reconcile

so vritras whole shtick was well if i devote myself to returning to heaven maybe they will take me back. so they became a priest and being on sacred ground suppressed his anger and essentially controlled his powers. they spend a lot of time meditating and often go days just sitting there

meanwhile ashtaroth basically went into denial that the person they loved most in the universe wants nothing more than to see them dead and turned to pretty bad coping mechanisms and basically fell prey to becoming one of lucifers goons carrying out her will and doing demonly things and then later being betrayed by lucifer. one day after escaping from captivity, ashtaroth returned to the chagrin of vritra

One thing I absolutely love Sieghart for is how much he treasures life, despite having an and infinite one. Quite a few of his interactions are characters asking him how come he’s not bored yet? Or how has he not gone insane? Is he not tired of it all? The answer is, Sieghart isn’t. He’s always vehemently proclaiming how much out there he still hasn’t seen. How much more he still wants to see. He also doesn’t throw his body in recklessly in battle, despite being immortal. Sure, he says that there are ways of killing an immortal (the highlanders haunt him every night, how would he forget) but I think he also knows that that takes tremendous power or knowledge. But still, he’s always cautious in battle, even against small time demons.

The archons feared The Moirai. They feared you. Being the only sibling of Phanes— you were incredibly powerful. Phanes, who was the god of time and wind, and also your sibling, had to be in contact with you wherever you went, considering the fact that you were the personification of fate itself.

Although the current archons have cut ties with Celestia (exp. Raiden), they will always be watched under your prying eyes— who will always expect them to follow their destiny.

“ they dare defy the laws of the universe and my commands? if it’s punishment they desire, then punishment they will receive. ”

Destiny has been written at the beginning of the existence of a soul, and to you, it is their job to fulfill that destiny. You can either guide them to the road of fate or forcefully let them live out their destiny against their will. In your eyes, defying the rules of destiny (which is quite literally impossible), is punishable by death.

Which is exactly why The Moirai is feared.

The people of teyvat have long forgotten you and Phanes, which angers you to the core. how dare they forget their creator? your sibling! utterly ungrateful! “ why have you fallen in love with your creations, oh dearest sibling? what has possessed you? ”

“ I find beauty in my creations. do you not? ” you would sigh and look at Phanes in disbelief. “ I simply don't. even I, the epitome of beauty in this world, do not find beauty in those vile creatures. ” Phanes stared at you with sadness and looked away, “ vile? ” whispered Phanes, making you scoff, rolling your eyes to look at the roaming creatures of teyvat. “ if you're only here to speak about your precious creations, you can leave and let me do my duty as the personification of fate. ”

[ QnA ] Why choose ‘lucifer’ as the demon name for the reader?

Astaroth (also Ashtaroth, Astarot and Asteroth), in demonology, was known to be the Great Duke of Hell in the first hierarchy with Beelzebub and Lucifer; he was part of the evil trinity. Both names are taken except for Lucifer. Reader is a god who rules over teyvat, alongside with Phanes.

[ QnA ] Why choose moirai as the greek god name for the reader?

Even the gods feared the Moirai or Fates, which according to Herodotus a god could not escape. according to Wikipedia (not a reliable source, i know- but bare with me.), Phanes personal information contained parents and siblings. in the siblings area, Moirai is one of Phanes’ sibling, other than Chaos and Horae. it would be much more accurate for the reader to be inspired by Nyx, but I already wrote halfway.

Honestly, I tried my best to follow genshin lore. Genshin lore is incredibly confusing and is too much to consume at a short amount of time (especially the Celestia and the Phanes lore of genshin). At last, it might be/is inaccurate. The Moirai, however, is mostly accurate. I took each piece of information I could get my hands on and slapped it into this post. HOWEVERRRRR, I am not confident in the siblings part. I apologize if it’s inaccurate, I am not trying to offend anyone 😓
