the beauty of it is that I never go though tumblr tags. just vibe. i just say shit what i think. I don’t keep up with drama. I read a tweet where shane said he was racist because of his childhood trauma it blew my mind. half of people have/had trauma do you see them being racsit

Ann: A story about stars? Well, I do remember a lot of nights when I was at the church and I would always be the one with a very late shift to take down left over sheets that other sisters wouldn’t get. It was honestly very relaxing, I rather do enjoy being able to take such a task. The air was always fresh and it was peaceful, no noises besides the sleeping creatures of the night. Sometimes, I would stay outside longer and wonder what kind of life I would live, what greater things would there be for me if I had become a normal woman rather than a nun… I dont regret it.

Bane: Night time was the time I worked best at. Most people would always be stupif enough to go to the manor at night, unaware of traps laid out and sometimes I would catch some stupid kids stuck in a tree or God forbid them caught in a bear trap. You’d think the keep out signs would stop them, it never did. Even so, nights could be peaceful. I rather enjoyed whenever the forest was silent and my deer companion visited, looking up into the sky, knowing that everything would be OK. As a resident and the grounds keeper of the manor, it was my job to make sure everything was ok. It was something i can control and that eased my worry and concern for my wild friends.

1. Do you have a crush?

I am actually seeing someone right now who I’ve had a crush on for a long time! Every day I find out something about him that makes me like him a bit more! ☺️

17. what’s the most attractive thing a person could wear?

Kinda cliche but I love classy atire, if I’ve ever seen them in a suit or tuxe even just a dress shirt and slacks then I’m a goner

22. Fictional Crushes?

There is so many I’m a part of so many fandoms it’s crazy, but if I have to come back to one it would be Jason Todd/Redhood

Thank you for the asks! 💛

someone has definitely said this better than me before, but let me just say it again…. a man doesn’t need to be “dumb” and “a himbo” to be deemed as a good person.

masculinity isn’t inherently bad or toxic.

it’s just… masculinity.

in extend, you also don’t need to joke about your male OC’s “himbo”-ness or “lacking brain cells” in order to… idk, rationalize their actions in your head? make them more acceptable?

male himbos OBVIOUSLY are valid and still valid, don’t get me wrong. dumb jocks and guys who only have half a braincell? guys who don’t perform traditional masculinity? valid!!

it is just that Tumblr has this very obvious pattern where people who have had bad experience with toxic masculinity (I’m one of those people too!) would hail every guy, real or fictional, who doesn’t perform masculinity or perform a “soft, feminized” version of masculinity–as if that somehow makes them automatically a good person (or at least, a “non-problematic” person considering this site’s fixation on purity culture).

toxic masculinity exists. and it deserves to be talked about, to be brought up in conversations so more people will be aware of it. but condemning every single guy and every single masculine/non-”soft/feminine” thing as “bad”… does not help anyone, nor does it help you.

also, yes, being a “himbo” doesn’t automatically make him a good person/character, either. (although we can argue that being a good person is one criteria of a himbo!)

Oooooh, PhoWill (particularly, Phobos) would be all over this holiday! I see them as the couple that coordinates costumes to wear together, either that or they both just ham it up with their own thing and somehow manages to still make it work together (“My Darling Frog Queen?” “O My Rose Dragon King~?”).

I think Phobos would find Earth’s Halloween to be interesting and new though quite different from how they usually celebrate in Meridian. And also a lot less serious and a lot more tendency to be louder. I think he would be surprised at how…open(?) people are being about their celebrations. There’s be quite a mood whiplash on his part at first, I think. XD

He finds the idea of dressing up in elaborate (and sometimes scary) costumes to be amusing, though I don’t know about his thoughts on trick or treating (though he may find the “trick” part interesting).

Phowill probably takes Will’s younger bro William trick or treating (and everyone is shocked to open the door to tiny ghost blanket boy and the gothic extra couple accompanying him). I can also see couples like Irma and Joel (who are probably helping Chris) challenging Phowill on who can get the most candy. XD

Additional thing: If Phowill has kids, they’d be all over this holiday and Will would often find herself having to talk her husband and children out of decorating the house in scary decor in September.

In any case, this is what I got so far. Happy Halloween!

Okay this is an unpopular opinion but, I actually don’t think Tudors Anne was really that good or well-written, I think people are just blinded by the fact that Natalie Dormer is such a good actress. If any other, less talented, actor had played Anne, I don’t think people would like that version so much.

In season one, Anne is just there to be Pretty and Sexy™️. Season two gives her a little more dimension, but it’s really not that much better because the writing is still very tell-not-show. And, again, it’s Dormer’s acting more than the writing itself.

This may seem too picky, but I don’t really have a “favorite” portrayal of Anne because no portrayal of Anne has really been perfect for me. Some adaptations do better than others, but even the better ones (like Anne of the Thousand Days or The Lovers Who Changed History) still have too many flaws to ignore.

Oooh well, unfortunately I don’t get to read a lot of histfic about Anne because my local library does not have a very large selection of Tudor ebooks (in fact, the only Tudor fiction they have available in ebook form is PGregs).

I don’t know if I’ve ever shared this, but I’m actually legally blind which means I can pretty much only read books in e or audiobook form…but if a particular book doesn’t come in either of those forms (which, a lot of the lesser-known and less popular ones don’t) then I pretty much can’t read it. The print in regular books is too small for me to read. (And because I’m also poor, I can’t afford to pay for a subscription to something like Audible).

I mean, I do have like iBooks but you have to pay for those and I’m not gonna spend what little money I have on a book if I don’t even know if I’ll like it or not.

Sometimes, I’ll have my mom record herself reading a book and then I can listen to it like an audiobook, but there are some histfic books about Anne that I’m too embarrassed to ask my mom to do recordings of 🙈.

Anyway, so there’s that. Sorry I couldn’t give you a proper answer, Anon.

Bobby would fucking LOVE quarantine, even if he and MC didn’t live together.

Obviously if they lived together it’s much easier- he’d create little games for them to play and new things to try and it would be a big bonding time for the both of them. He would thrive having his girl’s attention and availability 24/7.

But even if they didn’t live together, I think Bobby would still be alright. He wouldn’t break quarantine, especially because he’s an essential worker and is desperately afraid of exposing MC to whatever he might encounter. But he loves knowing where MC is and having the chance to call/talk to her literally whenever. They do a lot of streaming movies together, discord chats, and playing games online. He only gets possessive and jealous when they’re not communicating or MC is ignoring him, so I can see him really liking that she doesn’t have work or school obligations to interrupt their time together. I also think he’d like the sexting/talking dirty aspect of quarantine, because it’d encourage them to try new things that he’d end up really enjoying.

I don’t think ‘my Bobby’ or even canon Bobby is physically clingy- he happily waits the whole season to couple up with MC. He’s emotionally clingy, though. He needs her attention and he needs her dependence. So physically not being with MC wouldn’t be a roadblock, because he’d find ways to talk to her every day. Honestly, they probably interact more during quarantine than they do normally, because MC is just at home all day and not needing to leave for things. Even if MC is working from home, Bobby wouldn’t respect the boundaries of ‘ok I’m working now please don’t call me’ because he doesn’t think working from home is as serious as going in to work.

Yeah, it’s pretty cool!

If you’re interested, you can find it on Doll Divine. It’s called Anime Halloween Magical Girl.

But the download picture option doesn’t seem to be functional so I had to take a screenshot to get it.

It’s still a really cute dress up game and I think it has a serviceable amount of options. Though that last part probably depends on what you want in these kinds of games.
