people r so weird about trans female characters in fandom. like take The Adventure Zone: Balance for example. canon couple, Barry and Lup; neither of them ever display any interest in anybody but each other, and yet almost the entire fandom headcanons them as bi because
(a) for some reason they have a problem with caring about straight trans women, we have to be interested in women for the fandom to recognise our love as powerful, romantic, radical etc
(b) a man in a relationship with a trans woman just can't be straight, can he? he HAS to be bisexual, doesn't he? [/s] like do y'all not see how absurdly transphobic this shit is.
trans women r allowed to be straight, and so are their partners. that's not less "radical" or "progressive" and it's certainly not less representation.
