We know the bats are experienced in all kinds of not human things. Half the league and Bruce's bromance with Clark alone can attest. So I doubt they'd bat an eye if Danny needed to give in to instinct from time to time. Especially if he won't change. Like Alfred just happens upon finding him in the walk in freezer possibly injured, refusing touch, pretty much growling them off. But they might be concerned with the actual yeti that comes in picks Danny up like he's not being rabid cat and gives him ecto supplements.

(It must have gotten eaten as this is the first time I'm seeing it)

Danny having instincts like that is a purely fannon thing that I prolly won't be including. That said, I can see ghosts just showing up and Alfred being "Yes, is this a social business, a plea for help, or are you looking for a fight."

Unsaid was if they were looking for a fight, they have found it.

I'm looking for someone, and i just wanna know if you've seen a bored-looking eevee with long bangs around here," he pauses, registering the scarf tied around the other's neck, "oh! you in a guild? I've always wanted to ask but, what's it like for new recruits? I'm, uh, asking for a friend."

Eugene: " Speaking of... I also lost my partner during the heat of the pillow fight. I'll keep an eye peeled for your lost friend too if you can give me his name. There's.... quite a bit of eevee around here after all."

(@askaflowercart) bounding up to him, Sunny suddenly screeches to a halt in front of the Oshawott, an embarrassed blush gracing his features. "hey!! it's you! from when I- uh- popped out of that beanbag and stuff!" after a bit of awkward laughter, he continues, "sorry about that, it's my first time in a library so I hope I didn't cause ya too much trouble. I actually wanted to ask, have you seen an eevee around here with a really bad haircut? I'unno if he's here, but you look like you're good with directions. you in a team or something?"

"I-I..." To be honest, he didn't think he'd ever seen an Eevee with a haircut at all. "I haven't," Gen said, gripping onto his reunion cape.

He hesitated, then continued, "Y-yeah. I'm p-part of Team Searchlights, a search party. ...I h-haven't helped much, though."

i think both of them were still around here last time i saw them, but i could help you look if you want? to answer your other question, i don’t think i’ve ever seen a library where i live. though i have a friend who lives in a village, there might be one there. i’m sure it would be a lot more interesting if you know how to read, haha!

The Evening Star

When the world was new and the old gods did not yet grace the faces of ruins and temples of their own fickle edifices, night blanketed the Earth, and her breast and hearth met the cold light of the stars above.

Cleaved from the night sky, Arceus created the first pokemon to inherit the world below; from stardust and light, he fashioned skin and bone, and where invisible lines met between each star, sinews and muscle took its place. With this, the first mortals populated the Earth by Arceus' own design and left the stars in the sky as a reminder of their origins.

Except one.

One star in particular, which enjoyed and now mourned the company of the others as he watched them descend to Earth, clung stubbornly to the sky. It could only watch helplessly as its companions died over and over on Earth below, and even if it chose to rejoin them, it would have no memory of its life before.

Arceus, ever thoughtful, compromised and swelled it to three times its size, placing it on the night sky's mantel so it may be the first to greet the mortals on Earth. In exchange, for a piece of its body, Arceus crafted the lonely star a friend to help it watch over and guide on Earth in its stead. 

Even in the days where stars are few and flicker in large gaps, The Evening Star wavers still between passing day to herald the looming night, now accompanied by Jirachi as its messenger and ward.

(@askaflowercart) settling next to Moon, Sunny sways his tail gently as he eyes the plethora of books stacked neatly on the shelves. "is this your first time in a library too? I don't really get the whole deal with having so many books, but I don't think it's half bad!" he swivels his head to take in the sight, before suddenly remembering something, "oh! by the way, did y'happen to see a small eevee who needs a haircut come by here? I kinda need to find him so I'm asking around."

"Oh, um, it's my second time in a library, kind of." Moon replies with a little jump. She was focused on a book she thinks is a picture book. Luckily she heard the question. "But I was here for not too long.

I've never seen books before here. I live somewhere where no one really keeps any. I think it's neat too." Her focus is back on the book. She takes the book off as she keeps talking. She frowns as she opens the book, it has some pictures but a lot of words too. Her ears twitch as she puts it back on the shelf. She thinks as she answers. "An Eevee, hmmm. I don't think I've seen them around.

Hmmm, oh!" An idea comes to mind. "Do you know what your Eevee friend likes? Maybe they're in the garden or looking at books about stuff they like!"

* Nick shyly scratched at the back of his head where the retention strap of his glasses dug into his fur, as he tried to think of a topic of conversation.

(Nick) So uhh, are you into uh, video games at all?

Gen trembled under the Greedent's gaze. While he liked RPGs as a human, Burhalla didn't seem like he knew what video games were.

He had to keep up the facade, or he'll be all alone.

"I-I don't know what those are," Gen lied, clutching onto his reunion cape.

He wished he never started that lie.

(@dawdlingdewgong) The Dewgong sees the poor Oshawott crying and decides to try and make him laugh. "Hey, watch this." The Dewgong pulls out a red clown nose, seemingly from nowhere, and puts it on their own nose. "Honk, honk!".

The sight of a Pokemon acting like a clown was too much for the Oshawott, and he giggled, the tears beginning to slow down.

After a few seconds, his laughter slowed, and he smiled genuinely at the Dewgong. "Th-thanks for that."

"Thank you!" Saltriv says, waving their leaf with a smile. "I'm looking forward to a lot! Meeting new people, making new friends, just having fun, seeing new things, and reading new books! I'm hoping I'll find inspiration from one of them, I want to become an author one day!"

The lucario then touched the green-jumpsuit he was wearing before sighing. "I don't know about you know but my parents used to be human and they've experienced what life was like after they've been turned into pokemon. So I guess you can call me a pokemon-human hybrid... heheh..." Sai joked lightly before giving Gen a look of sympathy. "I know your old life. Is there anyway... I can help you feel like you're home again?"

The Oshawott hesitated, then waddled up towards the Lucario, and gave him as much of a hug as he could, with his stubby arms and short stature.

"T-thank you..." Gen said, before looking down. "...b-but...I don't think I'll ever feel like I'm home, not until I'm truly home, with my family, and my human body."
