Dear Ma,

I miss so many things of you. I can't sleep. They helped me learn how to write and read, she suggested I write this. But is it helping me? I scratched this ten times. I coated each paper with my tears. The paper got so crystalized after each tear. I miss you.

I can't keep going like this. All I can remember is your blood leaving you. How I screamed for you to wake up, how your heart stopped shining. How every attempt I had couldn't save you. Why my ma? Why us? I asked over and over again.

Now you rest at the place we first stopped. Now I live far away from that house of memories. But I keep something of you close to me always. I keep it clean and wear it in my need of comfort. I miss your hugs. I miss how you would tell me everything would be alright. Today's... Today's my shine day, I'm thirteen now. Those doctors were wrong, I have surpassed the expected end... My heart hurts more though. I fear... my end soon. I fear that I would scare them too. So I won't tell them. I dont want them to worry more. I'm doing my best to stay in a balance but my heart may be failing actually...
