What is morning musume
im glad you asked.
i really love a video game series called rhythm heaven and have my whole life! as a teen, when i was nervous i would legitimately have lockstep loaded up on my DS ready to tap away at. i was at senior prom SOBBING bc i got stuck at a house party and the whole time i was crying i was tapping away at lockstep lol.
i wondered suddenly — what else was its creator, tsunku, up to?
turns out it was a LOT! i knew he did music for an idol group but that <- was the extent of my knowledge.
morning musume is the group (along with other groups) that tsunku made/composed all/a lot of the music for and because of this a lot of it sounds fun and rhythm heaven-y or just fucking good. ultimately i am a tsunku fan.
but i like 黄金期, golden era! da best!
their second album is wonderful. a ton of it is wonderful. its insane how much and how good this music is. i listened to “all for one and one for all” and thought oh how rhythm heaven-like! then i listened to love machine and renai revolution and manatsu no kousen i was hooked. do consider giving it a try.
they also were on a lot of variety shows but had their own, and it was extremely fun!!! and they also did like plays and movies and stuff. i’ve become really invested in archiving stuff and making it accessible— im getting stuff off a VHS from 2002 that hasnt been seen in. who knows how long. its nowhere online that i can find! i think preserving these things and sharing them is so important. its kinda become my passion recently, archival/uploading, and has pushed me to actually really try to learn japanese (making good progress!!!)
anyway. thats a little bit about morning musume. thank you.
ピースピース!

Sorry if I'm bombarding you questions, but is there any significance to the fact that most of the jujutsu students wear gakuran-style uniform instead of kimono?
In case you were wondering the gakuran-style uniform looks like this -
Tumblr media
The only reasons that I can think of are that a) all gakuen (Japanese word for "school") have this uniform, so Gege-sensei played along with it, or, because the gakuran-style uniform is quite no-frills, it's an adequate battle uniform for fights with Curses. Apologies if it sounds like I'm nit-picking, but it just strikes me as odd that most jujutsu students would wear gakuran-style uniforms if the majority of jjk worldbuilding philosophy doesn't come from the West (except the elements of Catholicism, of course).
Hello! It's fine, I don't mind the asks at all!
Oh yes, I know what a gakuran is. We don't have any official info, but personally I don't think it has to do with Western philosophy, but rather how the uniform in Japanese school today. Gakuran is actually considered the more "traditional" uniform in Japanese school today, as many schools start to adopt blazer-style for their uniform (for example Junpei's school). Jujutsu kousen in the story is disguised as a religious school, so it's more fitting for the setting if they wear gakuran instead of blazer. On top of that, professional jujutsu sorcerers also generally wear black, so it's more in-line with the industry that the school support as the students already "work" like a pro jujutsu sorcerer with supervision

Teen & Up Audiences | No Archive Warnings Apply
Categories: Gen, other | Fandom: Haikyuu!!
Relationships: Kageyama Miwa & Kageyama Tobio, Kageyama Kazuyo & Kageyama Tobio
Word Count: 1,694
Senior high was a three-year bright spot between the loss and learning, nineteen and boarding a direct flight to Rio, that there is more than one type of grief.
read below or ao3 link
Kageyama Tobio considers quitting volleyball only once in his life, a year after his grandfather passes suddenly and unexpectedly. Less than a week after he tosses the ball—a perfect toss for C-quick, just as he’d practiced for an hour the night before—and it falls, untouched, onto the court where it completes its arc. He thinks about it, seriously quitting, for less than 24 hours. He still thinks about it, but not seriously.
Coach benches him without another word about it. He watches the rest of the meet from the bench. And feels nothing. There’s nothing left to feel when he realizes he doesn’t want to be on the court. Not after watching the ball fall. Abandoned again. First Miwa, now grandfather. If this time, it was his fault, which means the others may have been his fault as well, right?
Miwa seemed very free after quitting. She started doing other things. She tied her long hair up in pretty, intricate styles, and never looked at a volleyball again.
That’s how it works. On the bench he doesn’t cry but something in him releases. Everything feels very much over, in the moment. The king is gone, off the court.
I miss them. I’m tired. I want to play. I don’t want to play.
The sets pass, until they lose in the third round in a blur of nothing. The swell he’d always felt from the court, the energy of the stadium, putters out. No sting of loss. No rush of victory. No twisting frustration. No images, instant replay, of all the things to practice for next time. None of it. Just the ball rolling towards the far wall and twelve players walking away from the net.
He was going to win the tournament for his grandfather. He was going to win for him and for volleyball and now he’s on the bench. He’d told him, the only time they’d let him visit the hospital, that he was going to win for him. Look, you made me strong. I love volleyball more than them.
He doesn’t quit. Turns out, it’s not that easy.
Too bad he can’t keep his hands off a volleyball—a well-worn plain white ball from camp—at home, even if he doesn’t want to stand on the court like that ever again. He sets it at the ceiling, lying on his back, before he sleeps. He continues his receiving drills against the wall of the house until his mother’s car pulls into the driveway.
Monday is the day that Miwa calls. From Tokyo. A reminder that she’s still out that. They she’ll talk to him, but only for ten minutes a week. Straight out of senior high and she’s off to the big city with a pat on the head and a promise to call and to message. She’d gone to work as a hairdresser and go to beauty school. She was back for the funeral with a new haircut and a second piercing in her left ear.
She calls the Monday after Kitagawa Daiichi loses to Kousen. Instantly, he realizes she’s calling him from inside a gymnasium. He hears it, balls bunching and shoes squeaking, before she says anything. And she says something before he can say, “hello”.
“I joined the local municipal intramural team, so you better keep playing, quitter.”
Mom must have told her he’d stopped attending practice after the prefectural junior athletics meet. He wants to ask her why she quit in the first place. Why she went back, now, of all times. But he doesn’t want to talk about Kazuyo. And it’s probably about him. Her picking up the ball again and him getting kicked off the court are both about him.
“Do they make you cut your hair?” He asks instead.
“No, of course not. They’re not stupid high school students,” Miwa says. There’s a referee’s whistle in the background. It makes him cringe, the way it filters through the phone speaker.
“Oh.”
“The team is actually co-ed.”
“What’s co-ed?”
“Like, men and women. I’m setting to guys.”
“But you’re super short. You were a libero.”
“I’m a better setter than the other guy, so I’m setting for now.”
“Oh.”
His sister was a good setter. But she’d played all positions. Libero, in her final year of junior high when she didn’t grow. She’d been one of the best liberos in the prefecture, despite only switching in the middle of her second year. Her stats almost matched with Shiratorizawa Junior High’s starting setter, who plays for the national team now, she’d told him once.
“I’ll be there for your graduation, so don’t flunk out. I already have my train ticket.”
“Okay.”
And that’s that.
Miwa starts sending him videos of her practices. All of her games are practices. It’s all for fun. She looks like she’s having fun. Her long hair is tied up in a high ponytail. Instead of the typical girl’s volleyball uniform, she’s wearing long shorts like a basketball player and a sleeveless T-shirt. Her arms look stronger than he remembers them.
Me
[ Why aren’t you wearing kneepads. ]
Sis
[ I haven’t bought any yet. ]
Me
[ You’re going to hurt your knees. ]
Sis
[ It’s nice to know that my little brother is looking out for my knees. ]
Kageyama goes to the last mandatory practice of the year. He tries (and fails) to ignore the looks he gets from everyone on the team. Hashikami doesn’t say a single word to him. Kindaichi and Kunimi whisper to each other in the locker room.
“Look who finally showed up, king.”
He slams his locker door shut. It rattles in its hinges.
Practice is less intense than during the year. They have no matches to prepare for. Only to keep up their skills going into senior high.
And everyone’s chattering about senior high. Kageyama can hear it from where he’s standing for warm up, at least a meter away from the closest players—two first years he’d helped learn to serve-recieve, and who’d given him looks of pity when he’s been kicked off the court.
“I heard the king didn’t get into Shiratorizawa. Didn’t pass the entrance exams.”
“Serves him right. Did he think they’d just let him in for being a genius setter? I guess even they don’t want him on their team...”
“Ya think he’ll go to Seijoh?”
Kageyama does nothing but jump serve practice during open gym. He can tell he’s being watched by coach. He doesn’t ask. He has a ball and a net and nobody’s trying to speak to him. Good enough.
“Kageyama-kun!” Coach yells his name after blowing the whistle to end practice. He watches the ball he spiked land in the far corner of the court, just inside the line. Direct hit.
While he jogs over to where coach is sitting, dread kills the excitement from his pinpoint serve.
“Yes, sir?”
“I hear your teammates are considering where to attend senior high school. If you do not wish to go to Seijoh, I believe that coach Ukai may be returning to coach the Karasuno boy’s volleyball team. I believe he will have sound advice with regards to how you might succeed in the future, there.”
Kageyama had expected scolding or punishment of some kind. Coach had said nothing about his problems with his teammates until they had all made up their minds. He had nothing to say to him on the bench. But now he’s telling him to go to a school he’s never heard of.
“Ukai” sounds a little familiar.
He looks up Karasuno High School when he gets home. He knows he won’t pass the entrance exams for Date Tech, and Johzenji is too far away. Karasuno, “the fallen crows,” he reads.
Karasuno has no entrance examinations. Karasuno isn’t a private school, but it has two volleyball gyms. The school is located closer than any other besides Aoba Johsai. He tests into class 3 on a lonely Saturday morning, the answers to the singular Shiratorizawa entrance exam appearing in his mind at the wrong time. He doesn’t care what class he gets.
Kageyama doesn’t go to Karasuno because he’s looking for any advice. He’s all caught up in Kazuyo’s advice. His grandfather’s advice made him an effective volleyball player.
He wants a good volleyball coach who will let him play.
He goes to Karasuno because he finds a photograph of his grandfather, number 2, next to Ukai’s number 3 at Shiratorizawa’s volleyball hall of fame. They make him go back to pick up his failed entrance exam and he sees it. A hall with every framed photograph of past nationals-competitive teams.
Shiratorizawa Boy’s VB — Spring 1965, Nationals Top 8.
It takes him many years to realize it was the best decision of his life.
He doesn’t know what would have happened if he had gone to Aoba Johsai. Or, by some miracle, had gotten into Shiratorizawa.
Never one to believe in anything besides what he could do for himself, he never bothered to create a mythology around finding the photograph. Nor about his junior high coach taking pity.
Every sports writer writes about him as though he was destined to succeed. Miwa sends him articles when he makes the national team. “Diamond in the crow’s nest”, “genius setter,” “youngest men’s volleyball Olympic team member since 1994.”
She follows it all up with a pleasant:
Sis
[ Don’t get a big head. And block out all the news sites and armchair bloggers right now. ]
She would know. She’s dating a supermodel. “The press are vultures in every industry, brother mine.”
Senior high was a three-year bright spot between the loss and learning, nineteen and boarding a direct flight to Rio, that there is more than one type of grief.
For those years after, he keeps his head down and plays.
And his grandfather’s words find their way back to him, again. Punctuation but not an ending to the career he knows, for himself, wasn’t predestined.
“One day, you’ll find someone even stronger.”
If every victory was for you, just a little bit, to make up a broken promise in a sterile white room, this loss is for me, grandfather.

AU Where Chiaki is a fairly well-known niche Vocaloid producer going by GameBroP. Rn she's downloadign models n shit so she can remakw the lost MMD AMV to one of her songs. She usually posts cover n original music too, it has a sorta crack treated seriously vibe to it like uhhhh...Fucking Bitch by Erorya Kousen P I guess idk..
oh and um what if Komahinanami babysit the WOH and they all hang out n stuff like...,Chiaki's introducing Kotoko and Jataro to Vocaloid and warning them about the horror songs (Specifically Gomenne Gomenne for..,obvious reasons), Masaru and Hajime borrow Chiaki's PS2 and play Sonic Unleashed in the living room, Nagisa's helping Nagito cook dinner in the kitchen and Monaca is playing Lalaloopsy on one of Chiaki's DSes. (Specifically, A Kirby Squeak Squad DS Lite since uh..idk why not)
"Kotoko do NOT look up an eng subs vid for that song. dont."
"Why, Nanami-san?" Jataro asked, confused.
"You'll regret it." she replied.
Jataro came over when she was working on a new song and helped with the artwork a bit. on the same night, Kotoko realized she should've listened to Chiaki.
Meanwhile, A couple days before they started babysitting them: Chiaki gave Nagito a Sans Undertale figure for his birthday. No one knows but her why.
ok enough chiaki indulgence gn or uhh gd whereever youre are
there is so much going on here but I would absolutely kill to have chiakis vocaloid songs

Y/N’s journey of volleyball Chapter 4, Bad impressions
Aaaaand that's how you saw Kageyama in that scary expression, where his literally is saying 'I'll crush you, you morons.' You contemplated on greeting him but you know its either now or never.
"Yo Kageyama. Long time no see…" You say making Kageyma snap out of that expression into a surprised one.
"L-l/N?!" Kageyama said before adding, "What are you doing here?"
"Walking home after practice. So, uh what are you doing with these three people?" You ask as you look towards the three people. One seem to be scowling while one was tiny as a midget wait no he's probably the same size as Maiko or something. While the other two…Nothing seems special about them you think.
"Uhm, for the orange one, I was practicing with him." Kageyama replied to which you questioned, "In the park?" You later added, "At this hour?"
"W-well-" "Oh, there is one person from Kitagawa, surely you know about this Kageyama right?" The blond says as he intervened Kageyama.
You held a blank expression as you pointed at the blonde and asked Kageyama, "Who's he?"
"The name's Kei Tsukishima. You must be the Y/N L/N huh?" He asks to which you internally sigh.
"That is indeed true. What do you want from me Tsukishima san?" You ask in a polite way as your eyes showed disinterest while he laughs saying, "Please drop the honorifics, just Tsukishima is alright."
"I see, well thank you ehm Tsukishima." You say before the orange one cuts in and says, "Oi! We definitely won't lose on Saturday!" As the orange pointed at Tsukishima. You were shocked as Tsukishima calmly replied, "Oh, is that so?" Which made you even more shocked as you internally opened wide at your mouth. Well, even the orange was also shocked from his response. Tsukishima added, "It might be an important match for you two, but it doesn't matter to me at all. And I don't really care about winning or losing." His response made you stare at him suspiciously as he went on and said, "So, if you really need to win, I can go easy on you if you would like." The pure mockery on his tone made you amused to say the least.
Well, except for the orange one, who seemed so frustrated before Kageyama butted in and said, "Whether you go easy or give it your all, the bottom line is I'll win." As he made an irritated face. Orange head corrected his phrase saying, "It's we!"
Seeing that made you laugh as the three watched you before regaining your composure.
At least Tsukishima waited until you finished laughing because he later commented with a laugh, "What an amazing confidence! As expected of the king all right." Hearing the word king, you immediately looked at Kageyama for his response to which he replied, "Hey don't call me that!" Hearing that, Tsukishima continued to press on about that day.
Well, you didn't really want to remember at all but the memories came flooding back.
As the kousen academy was in the lead against Kitagawa Daiichi, you were worried with your friends as Kageyama was slowly losing his cool. He kept on tossing faster and faster, until his teammates couldn't take it anymore. It felt like the floor has been split into to two where Kageyama is all alone…
Snapping out of that trance, you saw how Kageyama held Tsukishima by the collar of his gakuran before letting him go after a couple seconds of silence. Tension filled the air as you looked into orange head as his eyes showed something like a desperation. Tsukishima later mockingly said, "What running away? Looks like the king isn't all he's cracked up to be." Which made the orange head and Kageyama irked as Kageyama stooped his head low.
Frankly said seeing all this it made you worried a little bit but Tsukishima added, "Who knows? Maybe tomorrow, I might just happen to defeat his majesty, the king-" He was cut off by the orange head as the orange head jumped as high as he could surprising you even further. The orange head later complained about the king this that and so on before being glared by Tsukishima which led him to back off.
Tsukishima said, how its just a simple game and a simple club, nothing more nothing less.
Hearing that, you asked Tsukishima, "IF it’s a simple game, then why play it instead?"
The look on Tsukishima showed a hint of surprise before concealing it with a smile which you both know its fake. Before the orange head butted in and asked, "Who are you anyway?" 'Boy, did you not even listen to me asking his name a while ago?' You thought.
Keeping your lips shut as you could you head Tsukishima say, "Kei Tsukishima, Class 1-4." The green haired boy later added, "Tadashi Yamaguchi Class 1-4." You didn't know anything about those two except you later came to a conclusion that they will not only go against each other but whoever loses has to face a severe punishment that you couldn't think of what'll be.
As Yamaguchi and Tsukishima left, the orange head commented how rude they both were which later Kageyama ignored and left. You couldn't say anything but you stopped on your tracks as you approached orange head.
"Hey, who are you?" You asked straight to the point.
"Huh? W-well, I'm Shoyou Hinata! And I'll defeat those two with Kageyama!" He proclaimed. "Then good luck. But do keep in mind to not disturb conversations will you?" You sarcastically said as you left. Iori later stood by the park entrance before yawing and said, "What took you so long and who were those two bumpkins?" You later replied, "Nothing special." As you both kept on walking.
Iori later said, "I'm going that way so uhh see you on Monday then." You also said, "See you on Monday and get home safe please." She waved in return as she jogged towards her home. While you did the same.
You opened the door to your home with the keys you have. "Tadaima!" You said while closing the door behind you. You were met with silence as you frowned again.
'Mum's not home is she?' You thought as you looked around which proved your suspicion right.
You open your phone to see a message from your parents. It read,
'Hey, I'll be late again Y/N, eat dinner and sleep early. Also don't forget your homework. -Mum and Dad'
You sighed as you closed your phone.
You later made your own dinner which consisted of a salad, and some cooked vegetables. You brushed your teeth, did your science assignments and japanese language assignments while telling yourself that you'll do math tomorrow. You then took a shower and scrolled through your phone before heading to sleep at half past ten.

Hi merlin ive been wondering how did the reader get a job? Imean like wasn't y/n a sorcerer so how did she get job? Sankyouu keep writing more ex gojo ♥️
Well anon what I'm going to write now is canonical info I've gathered...
The Jujutsu high is a college actually (kousen).
Jujutsu kousen had five years during Gojo time, but now its four year during Itadori time.
Jujutsu kousen is like a vocational school something, not sure.
Graduates can go to work to their specific work fields like being a sorcerer, or continue their education too for another two years for a degree.
Nanami did this as well ig
Now, your question..
Yn did all her five years.
I will keep writing ex Gojos as long as i have you beautiful ppl sending me asks!💕

It wasn’t until the report came out that you realised Getou was never coming back.
All 112 villagers of the prev. ** village deceased.
The letters printed on the white paper was staring right at your face, but somehow it still felt like it was miles away, like everything you read fell through your ears as an echo.
Residues at the scene could determine that it was Getou Suguru’s curse manipulation.
No one said anything when they saw you staring blankly at the still screen of your phone. The last few messages were still there, sitting there and waiting to be read.
You weren’t sure if you were hoping or detesting a response. He probably never would, like he probably wasn’t your boyfriend anymore.
“Do you know when you are getting back?”
Getou Suguru escaped.
“This is taking longer than your usual missions, is everything alright?”
According to item 9 of the Jujutsu Regulations, he is to be classified as a curse user-
“Suguru?”
-and is to be executed.
The other two saw him again after that, which they had the mercy of not telling you explicitly, but anyone could tell from the heaviness lingering in the air.
Shoko smoked more than usual.
Gojo got quiet, and sometimes you would catch him fidgeting with the candy paper in his hand underneath his table.
Getou’s table was still there, an empty space starkly standing in the middle of the already sparsely occupied room. You had assumed that they would remove all traces of him immediately, but you could understand why they didn’t when you realised that your gaze still paused at where he once sat whenever it wandered.
The same way crimes scenes were always kept as it was, only the supposed corpse was still out there somewhere.
It was a silence bonding, the unbreakable chain of experiencing the same loss at the same time, but somehow your remaining friends were already there when you pushed open the door to the rooftop where no one usually went to.
That was the first day when he was gone. You had felt an impulse to go somewhere where you were not trapped inside, where you could feel the air entering your lungs as you inhale and it seemed like you were not the only one with that thought.
Gojo was already there, with his back bent forward as he leaned on the rail. He had one foot on the iron bar of the railing, casting a glance to your side when you silently joined him in looking down.
There was no one visible in your sight, but still you looked, and looked. The quiet footsteps getting closer let you know that the third (and last) classmate was here, a soft sigh ringing before there was a click and the smell of smoke made you furrow your eyebrows together.
You remembered that he used to smoke rather often, but somehow always put the cigarette off when you neared. He stopped smoking around you entirely after you got together, because you would push him away if you smelt the tell-tale scent of tobacco on him. But if you caught him at the corner with one between his fingers, he would always pull you close with his eyes curling into two thin strands, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips as his other hand fumbled for the mints he kept in his jacket pocket.
You wanted to be mad at him, but the chill tickling your tongue when his breath fanned against your lips always had you weak.
“If he had come back for you,” Gojo’s voice was void of emotions, without the usual certainty or cockiness that always dripped from his words, “would you have followed?”
You shrugged.
“I don’t know,” you shook your head slightly, your eyes not once shifting away from the empty courts below.
The reality was that it still took you some time to process that fact that he killed a whole village of people, even longer when you eventually remembered that he did the same to his own parents. It didn’t feel real, like a bad dream that you could wake up from if you beat the thought into your head enough, like you could just close your eyes and see him walking up to you with his usual smile, asking you if you really fell for it.
But the feeling of being left behind, of conflict at the sentiments in your heart that you couldn’t brush away, of doubting if everything you once had was ever truly yours, of anger at how you were supposed to be the closest to him but knew nothing, of not being told anything, of not receiving a proper goodbye, of him running away without even telling you straight up that he was leaving you behind, were all very, very real.
There was a dull ache budding at the back of your throat over the fact that your last image of him was still the way he looked at you with so much tenderness made you sick to the stomach, and twisted even more at the knowing that to you, that was his one biggest crime.
Perhaps that was what love was. You could look past the fucked up morals or even the murder, but there was no ignoring that you were left behind, and that meant that there was where it all ended.
You chuckled at the conclusion you had drawn, earning you a questioning stare from the boy who raised the question.
Hell, then he might just be the love of your life.
“I don’t know,” you repeated, bitterness lingering on your tongue when you smiled.
Sick, just sick.
They were both looking at you, but you didn’t turn to see what expression they were wearing as you dropped your head. The metal pressing against your forehead growing warm under the heat of your skin as you muttered, this time to yourself and no one else.
“I really don’t.”
-
Time sped up from there.
Life went on. Eat, sleep, going out on missions before collapsing on your bed when you came back alone and tired, repeat. Gojo and Shoko stayed after graduation season hit, you didn’t. You spent so many years there already, you clicked your tongue as you said, it is time to move on.
You were not really talking about High school, both of them knew it but neither said a thing. The empty table remained as it was until a new batch of students poured into the classroom that was once yours, before they left and another group filled in.
Occasionally you met young sorcerers on the field who wore the same button that once adorned your collar, and wondered if it was them who sat at that table now.
You did not think about Getou Suguru for years.
Yet, you were not surprised to find the exact same man that once plagued your thoughts late at night standing in the middle of your living room uninvited, without a single hint just as when he left.
“It has been long.”
You had a gut feeling that he got taller since you last saw him, even though you were probably standing too far away from him to truly measure. The edges and corners of his face were more prominant, his hair running down his back in a way that used to happen only when he was at his most relaxed.
“You should try to let it grow,” you mumbled as you ran your hand through one lock of his hair, letting the black silk fell from your hand onto his chest, “it would look good on you.”
He chuckled, and the vibration seeped into your skin from the way he laid on your lap. The weight lifted from your legs when he sat up, his face right in front of yours as he grinned.
“When my hair reaches my waist, will you marry me?”
You laughed, and the smile on him only grew.
“Where did you get that from?” you hid your smile behind the back of your hand.
“It’s from a poem,” he replied with a tilt of his head, “Never heard of it?”
“No,” you still sounded breathy from the laughter, “but did people teach you not to make promises so easily?”
The one long piece of his bangs had fallen onto his face, covering his eyes just slightly. He huffed as he pushed it away from his view, placing his head on your shoulder.
“Who told you it was easy?”
Ah, your jaw clenched at the waterfall of black that stopped just above his waist, so he did grow it out in the end.
You did not move from your position at the door, standing with your back straight and your keys still gripping tightly in your hand. “What are you doing here?”
You were just about to head back from a mission when you got the call. “He showed up at Kousen just then,” Gojo did not bother with formalities, or give you any context as to who “he” was but still you froze, knowing exactly what he was talking about right away, “he might go see you.”
(You were sure that he wouldn’t, but it seemed like you truly didn’t know him well at all.)
He chuckled, a soft sound that made your nails dig into the middle of your palm, “Am I not allowed to check up on you because I want to?”
He sounded familiar, exactly the way you remembered him to sound like. The corners of his lips were lifted up in a calculated angle, smiling at ease but not from heart. You suppressed the heat that was near pouring out your throat, swallowing the discomfort back into the pit of your core.
Was it true that this wasn’t how he smiled, or did you only notice the way his eyes were lifeless now?
You replied with a smile of your own, not willing to lose your footing, “Oh please.”
You never bothered to check on me before.
He was not bothered by the dryness in your voice, and if he was then he did a great job at not appearing so.
“When I left,” he asked, “were you mad at me?”
“No,” But I spent nights crying over you. “is that supposed to come out as a mock?”
“No.”
You searched for a hint of wavering in his eyes, any sign that he was experiencing even a bit of the turmoil that was boiling and burning in your chest as you tried to keep your voice still.
You wondered what you had hoped to find.
“What do you want?” you said, and forced yourself to look right into his eyes. You imagined that you could see your own reflection staring back at you if you were any closer to him and the hint of soreness shooting right up to your nasal until it the sting that left almost resembled longing.
If you were to fight, you probably couldn’t win him no matter how hard you try.
“If I say I miss you, would you believe me?”
There was a ring in your ear as you shut your eyes tight, forcing the corner of your lips to hold back from twitching.
God damn it.
“Does it matter?” I wish I don’t.
“Perhaps.”
He was looking at you, and you could taste the blood at the tip of your tongue. You wished there wasn’t some part of you that was near breaking down inside of you, or that you didn’t feel such an urge to let the tears run free.
But you wouldn’t, your pride wouldn’t allow it.
His arms crossed loosely in front of his chest, the fabric of his cassock bunching up around his elbows. You had pondered why the cloak seemed so out of place, and then you remembered that he wasn’t even religious in the slightest.
It was all for show.
“Leave.”
There was a hint of relief when you heard your own voice landing back on your ear and there wasn’t the shakiness you had so dreaded to hear. You knew you had lost the moment you even cared, but still, on the front you refused to show there sometimes, during the many years after he left, you would still see his face when you couldn’t sleep and all you could do was stare at the ceiling. You hoped the iciness in your expression was enough to cover up the fact that you had no erased all traces of what you once had with him completely, and there was still a photograph or two that you hid away so that no one would know you still hadn’t let go of him, a traitor.
He glanced down at your command, before nodding slightly to himself. Getou Suguru turned around until he was facing your window and his shadow slanted on the opposing wall from the cold hue of the moon.
The pale light blurred his figure, like smoke, like the mint tingling your senses.
“You ruined my life.”
I love you.
He paused briefly, before turning to look at you once again. You were taken back when you see the look in his eyes, and the downward tug at his mouth.
With the moon and the cassock and the unexplainable depth in his eyes, he did look the part of feeling sorrow for the world and pity for the masses.
Oh, how ironic.
Getou parted his lips slightly, and you could see the shudder but heard no sound, until they pursed, before he finally spoke again.
I love you too.
“It’ll pass.”
You did not realise that you were staring out the window, not moving a step until you saw the dots of snow slowly landing on the glass. Your steps stumbled as you walked towards where he jumped out, your hand touching the chilled glass while the world outside was a scene of white.
He probably came and left on the back of some curse he had, not leaving even a trace.
You stared and stared, and wondered what it would feel like to be buried under the snow that was starting to pile up.
-
Gojo asked you if you want to see him for one last time.
You refused.
Your bones were cracking with each twist of your joints as you finally got back to your own space after the whole fiasco that went down had you drained.
Of all the days he had to plan an uprising, it had to be Christmas Eve. A heavy sigh slipped from your lips when the door locked behind you, the lights flicking on to show the red number on the calendar hanging on the wall.
It was quiet, the handle of the clock ticking was all you could hear. It matched the pounding in your ear, drumming and drumming as you stared upwards at the ceiling, sucking in a deep breath as the cold air filled your lungs.
So he really was gone now.
“He said he couldn’t manage to laugh happily from the bottom of his heart in this world,” Gojo called you again a moment later after the initial one, and you had to swallow the want to tell him that there was no need to tell you what he said when the other end fell into silence when you didn’t response.
Only there was. You knew there was.
At the back of your head, you had a faint memory of where you had put the old things that you couldn’t find somewhere to store when you moved out of your dorm room. It was hidden under the piles and piles of clothes and blankets that you never used, much like how you had not touched that box since you first put it there.
You sucked in a deep breath when your fingertip touched the rough corner of the cardboard, reaching in deeper to pull it out. It was covered in dust and slightly crooked from all the things you had stacked on it, but still exactly the same as how it looked when you sealed everything inside with the cover and shoved it in your closet.
There was still an innocent sense of glee when you opened it and saw all the things that reminded you of your youth.
The student handbook, and your student card that was stuck in there like a bookmark. The gold button in which some of the gold pain had already come off from years of wear and tear. Your graduation picture, which showed the three of you sitting side by side properly in all its rarity.
The familiar ache in your throat returned when you got to the bottom, where you found the sole reason why you dug this out. You smiled, your hand gingerly picking the thin film laying flatly there without a single crease on it.
He was looking at you, who had your face on his shoulder with an arm thrown around your frame. Your hand was on his neck, pulling him down towards you as you laughed and he laughed back at you. You did not remember who took it, or when it happened, but the rush of warmth in your chest as you held the picture in your hand must be the proof that you were happy.
You should have thrown this away the moment you knew he was not coming back, but you didn’t have the heart to.
How could you when he looked so happy too?
Your thumb traced over the smooth surface of the film, over where his lips were nearly touching your hair, over his eyes that were fixed on you.
Couldn’t manage to laugh happily from the bottom of his heart... huh?
You laughed, at him, at yourself, before the droplet of tear finally fell.
Like there was smoke in your eyes.
Like the chill on your arm was not from the snow outside but from the taste of peppermint on your tongue.

Note
It’s sad that no adult like (gojo and toji) seem to care about tsumiki.
Its seems like gojo just uses megumi
Right.
So.
1. Since I hardly ever have any activity in this account...
2. It also has a rather small following because megumiki is an unpopular ship...
3. And I've gotten three asks in a row. One of them asking something along the lines of not getting megumiki (still not sure about what was being asked).
I can't help but deduct that the anon that asked this question quite possibly asked the last 2 as well.
I could be wrong 🧐🧐🧐🤔 but... I can't help but feel like I'm being trolled. My problem with this is that I love feeding trolls 😩.
Like. I love trolling! It's a behavior I am trying to work on because I have realized that it's a knee-jerk reaction that I engage in when I'm feeling lonely. So I do hope you're not feeling lonely yourself.
Right now I'm not feeling lonely.
I'm just feeling like playing along 😈.
Also if you're not trolling me, please forgive me. I just need evidence that you are not a troll 😚. Like... not hiding behind an anon mask would be a great start 🤩🤩🤩!
I promise I don't bite.
Anyways...
I agree. Tsumiki and Megumi are unloved and it's heartbreaking.
But you should not despair about Tsumiki not getting enough attention from the men in her life. That's why there's fan fiction!
While I don't head canon Tsumiki is a slutty girl (unless she's got Megumi all up in her grill) and I am not a fan of this pairing, this fanfic over here is a really kinky depiction of Toji giving her plenty of attention.
This other one is similar in that it depicts how Gojo creeps on her too. I haven't read it so... I hope it's a good one. Again, not a fan of the pairing for multiple reasons, but hey 🤷🏻‍♀️, if you're into Tsumiki getting attention from Gojo and Toji, who am I to judge?
We all have our kinks and as long as we practise safe, age-appropriate (like, don't go doing crazy things if you're 70, ok? be safe) , consensual sex, then we should not be judged for our fantasies.
About Gojo and Megumi. I've seen this attitude come up before 🤔. I don't know. I don't have an opinion on the matter because to me it has always appeared as though Gojo really cares for Megumi.
Yeah, he was totally creepy about enrolling Megumi at Jujutsu Kousen... but I am going to headcanon that even if that's the case, he grew to care for Megumi as the years went by.
Again, I'm sure there are plenty of fics on ao3 that can satisfy your Gojo x Megumi itch if you have one.
AND, as the huge proponent of exploring your fantasies that I am, I would also encourage you to explore your own kink through writing fan fiction.
Maybe its time you wrote that fic where Megumi and Gojo have hate sex or something like that.
If the antis scare you, then I recommend you write the fic as though Megumi was 18 already (because this arbitrary number clearly makes a difference in knowing what the hell is going on) and that he got tired of being used by Gojo and has empowered himself and rides him into oblivion. If you need inspo, I've got good inspo material you can watch.
Idk.
You do you.
I'm writing another fic myself exploring my own fantasy of Tsumiki manipulating Megumi. It'll be kinky. Make sure to stick around if you want to read it.
Ok, well... Hopefully this helps 🤷🏻‍♀️.
Like... I honestly wasn't sure what to make of this ask so... if you've read this far... uh... 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ thank you for stopping by!

Yuu Hayami and Wink were the ones who introduced me to the amazing world of idols from the 80s, but I can't recall who came first. In Yuu's case, I was more specifically introduced to the Hana no 82nen-gumi (Hana no Hachijuuninen-gumi), how some people call the idols that debuted in 1982 (though one of them in reality debuted in late-1981). I don't know why I like her so much. I mean, I don't think it have any special reason, any "spiritual" reason... She's pretty, had nice aesthetics and have an amazing discography. I like her voice too, but sadly it reached its peak when she decided to almost stop releasing music. It's not like her voice nowadays is bad, but it changed a lot with the time. She knowing how to speak proper english and being a "summer idol" are a plus, too. Since the thing I love the most about her is her discography, I decided to share this compilation I found some time ago of TV performances she did in the 80s. It's also fun to see not only her evolution but the evolution of the songs and aesthetics of almost all of the 80s itself, since the songs on this video ranges from 1982 to 1989. Even though some songs are better on their original versions, this video is still a fun watch. If you want to get to know her, I really recommend it. The songs on this video are: 01. Isoide! Hatsukoi (1982) 02. Love Light (1982 (this video is from "HAPPY SIGN" Live! 1984" though) 03. Answer Song wa Aishuu (1982) 04. Ano Koro ni Mou Ichido (1983) 05. Natsuiro no Nancy (1983 (this video is from "HAPPY SIGN" Live! 1984" though [2]) (Her signature song) 06. Nagisa no Lion (1983) 07. Lucky Lips (1983 (this video is from "HAPPY SIGN" Live! 1984" though [3]) 08. Daite My Love (1983) 09. Yuuwaku Kousen Kuraa! (1984) (From "HAPPY SIGN" Live! 1984" too) 10. Me☆Sailor Man (1984) (I like the special deffects on this one lol) 11. Aishuu Jouku (1984) 12. Tonight (1985) (An Ann Lewis cover) 13. STAND UP (1985) (Is it possible to love and hate an outfit with the same intensity?) 14. PASSION (1985) (If this one makes you think of Meiko Nakahara, it's because she made this song) 15. Seireki 1986 (1986) 16. CLASH (1985) (Don't ask me why this one is out of order) 17. News ni Naranai Koi (1986) (What I love the most about her outfit here is how everything is yellow) 18. Love Station (1986) 19. Heart wa Modoranai (Get out of my life) (1987) (A Lady Lily cover) 20. Tokio Express (1987) 21. GET UP (1988) 22. Kurushii Keredo I LOVE YOU (1985) (Don't ask me why this one is out of order [2]) 23. Yesterday Dreamer (1988) 24. Yuubae no Naka de (1989)

TRANSLATOR NOTES
Ichiro refers to the knights of the Round Table - 12 here, but the original numbers are something like 24, 36 or some even as 72.
Paisen - Another way of saying senpai, but for one you're much closer to/familiar with.
Samatoki's referal to himself as 'the Godfather' is related to how he brought up Ichiro's rap skills.
Jakurai uses the german word for patient/ill person, Kranke
Since these verses are shots at their rivals, Jakurai is addressing Ramuda in this verse. Louis XVII was a child king. Jakurai is asking mercy on Ramuda's soul because he's about to beat this kid to the ground.
Chinchiro is the game that Fling Posse played in the 2nd Drama Track and 4th Chapter of Side FP/M
Zion - synonym for Jerusalem. Babylon, once the largest city in the world - This line possibly refers to how Dice is risking it all with his bets. All or nothing.

Maybe this is a question that has already been asked, but approximately what age were Gojou and Megumi when they first met? Megumi was definitely in elementary school, Gojo said so during their conversation... Gojo on the other hand I assumed she was 18/19 years old because it's been a year since she met Toji and he would have been 17 at that time but maybe he was older I don't know ahaha, what do you think?
According to my hypothetical timeline, they should meet at 2009. At that time Gojou was in his fifth year of jujutsu school and Megumi was in first grade. It happened presumably around three years after the Hidden inventory arc, and two years after Getou's betrayal. (chapter 76; Getou's betrayal happened a year after Riko's death). When the two met, Megumi should be around 6 or 7 years old while Gojou should be around 19 or 20 years old.
(The jujutsu school is a technical college or kousen. It's a vocational school and commonly has five years curriculum. But according to one of the older QAs, it had five years during Gojou's time but gege cut it to four years study during Itadori's time).

“Furusato”
Release date: July 14, 1999
Oricon Weekly placement: 5th
B-side: “Wasurerannai”
Members: Aya Ishiguro, Kaori Iida, Kei Yasuda, Mari Yaguchi, Natsumi Abe, Sayaka Ichii, Yuko Nakazawa
If Natsumi Abe was trying out as the Morning Musume’s center in “Manatsu No Kousen,” “Furusato” (Home) completes that transition. While others trickle in the scenes, the main focus of the story is Abe. The song also highlights her as the main vocal, drawing out the best from her in the chorus.
Furusato is a term akin to one’s hometown, loaded with a lot of sentimental connotation, and the song is a dedication to the members’ mothers. It draws from a typical jyokyo story – Japan’s cultural narrative of one moving from the countryside to the city, Tokyo in specific, in search of prosperity and fulfillment of life – to sing about longing and homesickness after living alone in the country’s capital. “Scold me again like you used to, my mother,” a line from the chorus goes as they share what they learned about being an adult on her own.
The video of “Furusato” documents a story of Abe returning from Tokyo to her home in Hokkaido. The cues make the video’s aim for the sentimental pretty obvious: the overlay of a busy Tokyo train station and a bare one in Hokkaido covered in nature; the members looking up to their real-life mothers. The song also reaches far for tear-jerking moments, writing in specific, poignant scenes like asking if she can spend some days back home to recover from a bad break-up.
Three of the first-generation members, including Abe, are from Hokkaido, the most northern region of Japan and the neck of the woods as far as public perception goes. During the Asayan episode when they first find out that they’ll perform at Kouhaku Utagassen, the members drop formal speak and talk in their countryside dialects as they call their parents about the big news. Cliche as the song can get, it’s not hard to imagine the members actually phoning their mothers while their stay in Tokyo as up-and-coming singers.
While Morning Musume has grown as an institution, “Furusato” has taken a life of its own. Abe fittingly sang the song during her graduation show in 2004, and there, furusato might as well have been in reference to the group that made her become the talent that she is. True to that read of the lyrics, the group has welcomed her, as well as many other alumna, back on multiple occasions. It may have been a little early for Morning Musume to start looking back in 1999, but “Furusato” gets better as the group ages.

Ace-related SBS questions for my personal reference
D: Greetings, Odacchi sensei. Good afternoon(?). This is a question, but the marks on the hat Portgas D. Ace was wearing; do they mean:
☹: Was it okay for me to be born into this world?
☺: Meeting Pops, Luffy, and loving me so much, I'm glad I was born. Thanks.
...or something like that to indicate Ace's question and the "Answer" he found? No, it's gotta be that! When Ace said his quotes before dying, his expressions were the same as his hat. P.N. Nara's K(Kuuki) Y(Yomeru) (Can read atmosphere)
O: Hmm, I see. I've received quite a number of postcards on this one. Those "marks" and "the last expressions", hm. They are the same. I, also, was shocked when I had this pointed out at first. (Haha) What's funny is that much to coincidence, that happened to become true. Back then, when Ace made his first introduction, there was sort of an idea of what this dude's destiny would be inside me, but those marks were just plain old accessories, and so I never thought of a deep meaning. And the expressions of Ace when he was dying, well I just thought that would be relevant and drew those two panels next to each other. Realistically, the face of pain, burning, hurting, feeling bad, and not wanting to die. Still, the feeling of having no regrets. He probably tries to tell that is how he truly feels to Luffy. And that's what his smile is. When a person cradles a crying baby, he/she always smiles, right? Same as that. Because he wants the person to smile, he dies with a peaceful smile in the end, and I think that shows us his kindness. Thinking that, I drew those panels. Ah- the explanation got kinda long-. Well anyhow- it's amazing, how you all notice this stuff.
D: Right before Ace died, he couldn't speak very loudly, so he asked for his final words to be told to everyone, afterwards. Did Luffy ever end up passing on the message "Thank you for loving me" to everyone? P.N. Otohimememe
O: I see. He really did promise that, yeah. But as events unfolded, it doesn't seem like Luffy was able to meet with the Whitebeard Pirates' crew members. But, that's alright. Those crew members loved Ace and went to war as a result of that love, so not a single one of them would resent not directly receiving any words of thanks. At that time, Ace had a different wish. The thing that he made Luffy promise to "tell everyone afterwards" was what, exactly? To survive. So I think that those last few words that he managed to utter reached more people at that time than we could have ever imagined.
D: Good afternoon Odacchi-♪ In chapter 589, Luffy's clothes in the 4th box of page 4 says "Sobauchi", the 5th box of page 8 says "Asagao", the 3rd box of page 11 is "Kankyuki", and 4th box of the 12th page says "Tapioca", am I correct? My sister found it. P.N.springrain soup
O: Hm. One of them is wrong. About Luffy and Ace's tanktops, I received lots of point-outs, so let's just check the answers right here. First, Ace's tanktops. Then Luffy's. (Chap. 585~589.) *(Luffy's tanktops have puns in them that only Japanese people will understand, so there will just be the meanings listed.)
"爆撃" Bakugeki; Explosion
"無罪" Muzai; Innocent
"暴力" Bouryoku; Violence
"勝訴" Shouso; Winning
"独立" Dokuritsu; Live Alone
"略奪" Ryakudatsu; Steal
"辻斬" Tsujigiri; Cutting Passerby People
"荒野" Kouya; Abandoned Field
"光線" Kousen; Ray of Light
"本能" Honnou; Instinct
"仁義" Jingi; Respect
Luffy:
Seaton (Seton)
Tamago Jiken (Egg Disaster)
F1
Shishi Kaba Buu (Shish kebab)
Newton
Lazania (Lasagna)
Sobauchi (Noodle Making)
Asagao (Morning Glory)
Eskimo
Kanki Uki (Dry season and rainy season)
Tapioca
Champion
Well, something along those lines. One thing that I hate is that in Chapter 589, pg 10, box 3, I also can't read those words (haha) It says "?NO" but what animal was "?".. can't remember. Oh well. Anyway, the explanation is that I wanted to say that they do indeed change clothes, and so I twisted my brain a little right there. Well, SBS ends here! From pg 186, we have Voice Actor SBS!!
