Hi, i was wondering In bad intentions, what was Grian and Scars first interaction? Does Grian get nervous around Scar at all? Also I don't know if its been answered but I'm confused is Grian a demon orrr? Sorr this is a lot ;w;

Hi, hello, thank you so much for this ask!! I hope you don’t mind if I take the opportunity to ramble a bit.

So Scar and Mumbo are both demons, but Grian is an angel, so it’s pretty taboo for him to have made friends with Mumbo.

As such, they try to keep their friendship secret (at this point it’s very pre-relationship), for the safety of both of them. Heaven probably wouldn’t look too kindly on one of their angels tarnishing themselves by associating themselves with a demon, and Grian could end up getting himself in serious trouble. In a similar vein, Mumbo doesn’t want any of the other demons to know about Grian, because he’s worried about him getting hurt because of him, and he could also be used as leverage against Mumbo.

All of this is to say, when Grian meets Scar, no other demons have found out that Mumbo is associating with an angel, so it’s kind of a Big Deal.

Mumbo and Grian are hanging out in when Scar teleports into Mumbo’s house (he does visit Mumbo, but the visits are fairly infrequent, so it was sort of an oversight on Mumbo’s part) and immediately notices that oh, what’s this? An angel?

As a lust demon, Scar can tell what people’s fantasies are, and he can tell exactly what Mumbo thinks about when it comes to Grian. Therefore, Scar flirts with Grian, calls him pretty, asks for his name etc, largely just to annoy Mumbo, because he knows that Mumbo can get quite jealous, and Scar loves to mess with him.

For his part, yes, Grian is a bit nervous. It’s the first demon he’s met besides Mumbo, and while he’s not inherently afraid of demons or anything, Scar is the first demon to find out about them associating, and that could mean very bad things for them. (He doesn’t know who Scar is, or know that he’s Mumbo’s friend, and he isn’t sure whether he’s a threat or not).

I did write out a very barebones transcript of how the scene would go, so if you like I can have a hunt for that and then tag you in a separate post!

I hope that this cleared some stuff up!

I was wondering if creaturrr grian would ever bring one of the hermits into his nest (and lay on them almost suffocating them)

in season 8, every boatem member was giant-chicken-napped at least once. i think he just grabs them when they dont expect him or leads them somewhere and messes around before grabbing them and the chicken-napped person is just like. ah! well. seems like ive gotten got. nap time zzzzzzzz

HAHA… FINALLY……. i finally started (and finished) working on my gift exchange thing,,, fifmfkfmfkf.

i was gonna try and work on a story to go along with it- but idk if i was ever gonna get the motivation to start it, let alone actually finish it. so.. woops? but at least i got an art piece out of it. and!! i made a background i’m actually kind of happy with, for once? so.. win!

Okay, so. Imagine.

So, people always use Ranboo as a super kind amd considerate pred and almost never intentionally scares prey.

Let's ruin that.

So, I have some ideas.

Vampire pred who safe noms prey as a substitute for blood.

Bounty hunter pred who is a big softy, but has to be serious while on a mission.

Weird, eldritch abomination pred who shapeshifts to look human while in public.

Easily spooked prey who had a traumatic first nom experience.

Alright, time to rattle off my favorite types of pred.

Vamp preds safe nomming prey instead of drinking blood

Tough pred with dangerous line of work who's actually a softie

Slime preds who are still getting used to a humanoid form

Eldritch preds who shift to look human in public

Hybrid pred who need help controlling their instincts

Preds who are new to being a pred and needs to drink water when swallowing prey
