The Low Altitude Assault Transport/Infantry, or LAAT/i, was a vital gunship used by the Clone Army. Heavily armed and speedy, these efficient vehicles served primarily as dropships, carrying and deploying up to 30 troopers in battle. Their flexibility allowed them to be used in multiple roles, and their usage continued into the time of the Empire.

I feel like we really underestimate physical bullying a lot. If a kid gets beat up by a classmate, its bullying. If a kid gets purposely injured by a classmate, its bullying. If a kid gets stuff painfully thrown at them, its bullying. We need to stop sugarcoating it. Its assult. Calling it 'bullying' makes it sound less bad, but its actually the same as assult. It causes pain and trauma.
I got bullied a lot the entire time I was at school, and sometimes it got really bad. And I never realised how bad it was because I didn't class it as assault. But it is assault, and it was bad enough to the point where I wont walk down certain streets, and I always have a defense plan when I'm on public transport.
Assault is literally a crime and yet kids and teens put up with it every day and do nothing about it because they think that because its just bullying, its not as bad. And I think that this is a big problem that has gone seriously overlooked.

"WIFE AND BABY," Hamilton Spectator. April 8, 1913. Page 11. ---- Boyka Had Fond Farewell Before Leaving For Penitentiary ---- The story has been going the rounds since the trial of Wasil Boyka, that he did not see his wife and baby before he was taken to Kingston penitentiary to commence the serving of his ten-year sentence. Sheriff Middleton gave the story a flat denial this morning. He said Boyka did see his wife and baby on the morning he left for Kingston.
"I was up at five o'clock on Saturday morning, and constable Stewart and I went to Mrs. Boyka's brother's home, and brought her to the jail," said the sheriff. "I was anxious that Boyka should see his wife and baby, as we often experience considerable difficulty in the handling of foreigners, when taking them to Kingston. I thought it would pacify him for the journey, and it did. He was quiet as a lamb during the journey."

The fact that I'm terrified whenever I use public transportation (which is every day) really says a lot about our society.

Low Altitude Assault Transport/Carriers were a variant of gunship used by the Clone Army. The LAAT/c was extremely useful in battle, able to quickly maneuver and deploy heavy vehicles and artillery like the AT-TE to vital areas. The carriers were only lightly armed and armored, to prioritize speed.

Yeah filming strangers on public transit, and later posting it online to mock said strangers for doing something effectively harmless... is still shitty behavior EVEN IF they did just come from a tswift concert, sorry

Note: Since my old masterlist is getting notes again (and I'm hosting @tbb-appreciation-week this year), I thought it's a good time to release a new version with a lot more resources. If any of you know another site or thing that it's missing from the list, let me know and I'll include it!! [Altho, I'm getting this close 🤏 to the hyperlinks limit on this thing 😆]
Note 2: To avoid tagging the 3 people from whom I got multiple resources repeatedly, I've placed 1-3 asterisks between square brackets after the links, depending on the OP. I give the respective credit to them in a legend at the end of the post.

WRITING IN GENERAL (For those who don't want to die like Stormtroopers)
SlickWrite: Completely free; online. Checks grammar, punctuation, flow, and writing style according to different settings (including fiction writing).
ProWritingAid: [RECOMMENDED] One of the most thorough online proofreader I've ever used. Although when using a free account gives extremely thorough feedback, with +20 different in-depth reports, for only the first 500 words. However, you can earn a premium account license (for a year or for life) if you get 10 or 20 new users signing up for free; (if you wouldn't mind doing so using the link above and help me earn mine, please). The settings allow you to check your writing according to your needs, from general to formal to creative. It has a bonus that you can check depending on the genre you're writing. For example, in creative, you can choose romance or sci-fiction (there are 14 sub-genre in total). And just like google docs, you can share a document, and people can view, comment or edit it too.
LanguageTool: [RECOMMENDED] Another excellent proofreader. It also has a word limit in free accounts, but if you use the add-on for Google Docs, it counts each page as a new document, so hitting the word limit is nearly impossible. It helps you to rewrite a sentence (3 a day), even if it doesn't raise any flags; it's very useful for when your sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn't feel quite right.
Grammarly, Hemingway Editor: No so great, but they do the basic job.

I know addicts need patience and help and everything but you’ve got to understand that I am:
1. Not emotionally, mentally or physically equipped to deal with you when drunk or high
2. Not responsible for your own actions when you get drunk/high or want to get drunk/high
3. Not responsible for helping you break out of your addiction
#I’m really glad I live in a place where public drinking is acceptable#and that public transport is 24/7 which reduces drunk driving#but if you get drunk it’s no excuse for your fucking actions#if you’ll get prison time for assaulting me while sober don’t fucking expect me to drop the charges because woe is me I’m just a little guy#just a little drunk#it won’t happen again I pwomise#like actually shut the fuck up#I’m just the night shift guy#the law is that we can’t sell at certain hours#don’t get pissy at me because I don’t want to go to jail for your ass#you plan on drinking past 3am??? To provide an explanation for people who don't understand the living situation in Gaza:
Gaza is under siege, there are no open exits, the only passages are Israeli checkpoints and the Rafah Crossing at the border of Egypt. The border is completely closed due to Egyptian relations with Israel and the West. Israel does not allow Palestinians to pass through checkpoints.
The other border is the sea, which is not a passage they are able to take as they have no transportation as well as the fact that Israel has an active navy
All of their necessities (food, clean water, medical supplies, electricity) are controlled by Israel, they cannot recieve humanitarian aid as all attempts are met with threats. They are given less than the necessary amounts of resources to sustain themselves. Israel has now cut that off completely. Hospitals are running on generators
They do not have the materials, permits or machinery required to make water purifiers, produce medical equipment, ensure food safety or to even rebuild demolished housing.
This also means they don't have the means to build bomb shelters, something I've noticed many Westerners expect them to have. Gaza has no shelters and nobody is able to build them
This means every time Israel has sent a bombardment, Gazzans have been out in the open or hiding in corners of their hopes hoping not to get killed.
Human rights are non-existent for Gaza. Protest is met with snipers. Children are met with violence. Any non-white, non-jewish people who pass through a checkpoint are forced to strip in order to be searched. Palestinians are treated as subhuman
Palestinian people, including children, have been arrested without provocation and are held prisoner without trial for years on end. Many who were arrested as young teenagers are now adults and still imprisoned, with some in solitary confinement for years
Rape is extremely prevalent among IOF soldiers. Both men and women have bragged about sexually assaulting Palestinian men, women, and children. This includes prison guards, who sexually abuse prisoners. Sexual abuse is also prevalent at checkpoints and during interrogations
Anyone who manages to leave can never come back, as Palestinians are not given a state or government, and are forced into remaining stateless and a refugee in most countries
If I see you people still supporting Israel after seeing this, then I have to believe you're heartless
