unclear. last night i stayed up and finished a report worth 25% of my grade at about 5am, arrived on time for my 9am lecture, and spent about half of it zoned out while thinking about seventeen year old emilie agreste. and i was one of the most active participants in the class discussion

All i'll say is

Believing that Dr*am is a groomer does not mean you have any moral high ground to judge people who don't think he is.

This situation is complex and both side have pretty damning evidence on the other. You can't blame either side for believing what they believe.

You are ALLOWED to hate Dream, you are allowed to not feel comfortable around people who are fans of him. You are allowed to think he is a groomer without being attacked for it.

You are NOT allowed to tell people to end their own life or that they're a "pedo defender". Holding moral judgement about people you dont even fucking know personally in a situation like this is not helping anyone.

I'm not gonna say what I personally believe because no one's fucking buiseness. All I want to say is that the trend of judging people's morality in situation like this is just purely a way to make yourself feel better.

We live in the real world, sometimes situations aren't black and white.

People act like they're doing this to help people or a cause but let's be honest what good are you fucking doing beefing with random people on social media ? What are you acheiving ? You can't tell me people don't find personal satisfaction in feeling morally superior to someone.

thinking about how the one time eliot masterminds something, it's because the circumstances are dire and we don't actually see it happen; how he says he plays chess and nate believes him but we don't ever see it or hear about it again; how we don't even see his most basic fighting skills until they're needed and he has to drop the cerebral and nonthreatening grift he was using in front of the team. and I don't know what to think except that in some ways he's just as secretive as parker is, we just don't see it because on top of that he's this very believable gruff-but-sorta-amiable person who meets up with his vet buddies and goes on dates and cooks for his team.

#not heading anywhere particular with this just. #with parker we see the warehouse and the multiple addresses and it's all shown to us in a way to draw attention to her caution #and how much she trusts the team regardless by letting sophie figure out the combination #and we have to assume that eliot has safehouses too but the show never even flirts with the idea of showing us. #he's secretive in a way the story allows and glosses over. #the difference between him and parker is that he pretends hard to be normal and she either can't or doesn't. #once again reminded of the ship dynamic 'there is something wrong with you that is also wrong with me.' #like. Pre divorce shadowpeach didn't seem to be the type to fight a lot. In fact the shadowpeach divorce probably blew up that big due to all the unsaid frustrations they never let out.

So I'm just imagining shadowpeach never fighting in an obvious way (closest to fighting would be backhanded comments or barbed words) but that just makes things more unsettling
