Prior to his demise, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate frequently: Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi; Astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilaihi (Allah is free from imperfection, and I begin with praising Him. I beg forgiveness from Allah and I turn to Him in repentance."

Sigh, one of the most important decisions I am taking for my next year/ upcoming chapter of life is that I am never speaking about personal details anymore because apparently no amount of Allahuma barik is shielding me from whatever is happening lol astaghfirullah. Just yesterday I was telling my friend that " Allaahuma barik my neck/ shoulder muscles have been doing great compared to pre-physiotherapy and that I have been feeling great, haven't experienced the usual neck / shoulder pain in a while.." guuuurl.. can you guess what's hurting me now 🥲

I’ve been studying Islam and wearing hijab on and off since 2021. I took my shahada alone in my room in 2022 but I go thru really religious phases and then I miss worldly things and drop it. I feel terrible like I have such a hard time when I’m at my lowest believing in Allah SWT. I was so excited to be able to finally partake in Ramadan just a couple months ago and now here I am knee deep in an 3d and struggling to believe in a higher power. My mom is evil about me being a hijabi I can’t even get into that part but it makes it 100% more difficult. Being in a small town people are also soooooo fucking mean when I’m in jilbab khimar or hijab. I have no Muslimah friends or even acquaintances. It’s so lonely. I think my brain just relates religion to all these difficulties and emotional turmoil that I instinctively pull away to get a break. If Allah SWT is really up there looking down on me I feel so ashamed.

«أَيَعْجِزُ أحَدُكم أن يَكْسِبَ في كل يوم ألف حسنة؟!» فسأله سائل من جُلَسَائِه: كيف يَكْسِبُ ألف حَسَنَة؟ قال: «يُسبح مائة تسبيحة؛ فيُكْتَبُ له ألفُ حسنة، أو يُحَطُّ عنه ألف خَطِيئة». [صحيح] [رواه مسلم]

Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) when he said:

"Is anyone of you unable to earn one thousand good deeds each day?" One of those present asked: "How can one earn one thousand good deeds?" He replied: "By glorifying Allah one hundred times, one thousand good deeds will be added to his record, or one thousand sins will be removed from his record."

Jesus loses either way. I’m a Christian btw. From the Christian perspective, Jesus is super OP, but he’s too forgiving and kind, he wouldn’t fight Moses because he’d feel bad. In the Muslim perspective… he’s just some guy. No special powers. He won’t win against femme boy Moses unfortunately.

Tasfir Ibn-Kathir

An-Najm 53:32

Verily, Allah the Exalted has decreed for the Son of Adam his share of Zina and he will certainly earn his share. The Zina of the eye is by looking, the Zina of the tongue is by talking and the heart wishes and lusts, but the sexual organ either substantiates all this or not.''

This Hadith is recorded in the Two Sahihs.

Ibn Jarir recorded that Ibn Mas`ud said,

"The eyes commit Zina by looking, the lips by kissing, the hands by transgressing, the feet by walking, and the sexual organ either materializes all of this or not. When one commits sexual intercourse, he will be someone who committed Zina. Otherwise, it is Al-Lamam.''

Masruq and Ash-Sha`bi also held the same view.

Abdur-Rahman bin Nafi`, who is also known as Ibn Lubabah At-Ta'ifi, said,

"I asked Abu Hurayrah about Allah's statement,

(except the Lamam), and he said,

`It pertains to kissing, winking one's eye, looking and embracing. When the sexual organ meets the sexual organ in intercourse then Ghusl is obligatory, and that is Zina.''

Encouraging Repentance and forbidding Claims of Purity for Oneself

Allah's statement,

إن ربك واسع المغفرة

verily, your Lord is of vast forgiveness.

asserts that His Mercy encompasses everything, and His forgiveness entails every type of sin, if one repents,

قل يعبادى الذين أسرفوا على أنفسهم ﻻ تقنطوا من رحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا إنه هو الغفور الرحيم

Say:

"O My servants who have transgressed against them- selves! Despair not of the mercy of Allah: verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.'' (39:53)

Allah said,

هو أعلم بكم إذ أنشٲكم من اﻻرض

He knows you well when He created you from the earth,

Allah says,

`He was and still is the All-Knowing Whose knowledge encompasses your affairs, statements and all of the actions that will be committed by you, even when He created your father Adam from the earth and took his offspring from his loin, as small as ants. He then divided them into two groups, a group destined for Paradise and a group to Hellfire…'
