✧ Summary | Ever since Fischl was shown on the Midnight Channel, Mona has been egging them on to rescue her as fast as possible. Despite the risks and dangers, the Investigation team obliges.

✧ Author's Notes | Yep, this was made because (like many others) I saw similarities with Fischl's Domain and Persona 4. I will be using P4 game terminology so for those unfamiliar, I put a guide below (I tried my best to explain in simple terms). As for the shadows I'll be using Persona 4 Golden Stats. I didn't change much of the canon dialogue at the end because it's already fitting!

✧ Persona Terminology Guide | Persona = The Manifestation of one's self ; Dungeon = Domain ; Velvet Room = A Special Room only for those "worthy", the room is used to further develop Personas ; TaP Soda = Item used to Restore SP ; Zio = Electro ; Shadow = The Manifestation of one's negative traits/emotions.

"Come, Asteria!" Mona's Persona appears behind her as she summons several stars orbiting Mona. She closed her eyes in concentration and picks the star that belonged to Fischl. Upon touching the star, it heads off in the direction to Fischl's Dungeon. The Investigation Team follows it and they find themselves in front of a Castle. "Woah..." They say in awe, but before they could comment any further, a voice suddenly speaks.

"Five adventurers from across the land has stumbled upon the gates of the Immernachtreich. A fallen kingdom awaits them, for they are about to explore, the Hymn of the Holy Land."

"A narrator huh? It...somehow fits her." Xinyan stated. "I often find her in the library, so it makes sense." Kazuha added. "Well Lumine, ready to go?" Paimon asks. Lumine glances at the Velvet Room door but decides to check her Personas first. Once she was finished she nods, "Ready."

"Ugh! Why are there so many ravens!?" Paimon cries out as they take a break. "At least it's on theme...?" Xinyan says, trying to reassure her. "We're still on the first few floors, we shouldn't let our guards down." Kazuha stated.

"But Paimon was expecting for us to all fight! Lumine's been doing all the work..." Paimon frowned. "It's okay Paimon, I stocked up on some items so it's going to be fine!" Lumine pats her head as she held TaP Soda on her other hand. "It's kind of unlucky of us to have groups of enemies weak to Zio. Not sayin' Kazuha, Paimon and I can't use our normal attacks but..." Xinyan didn't elaborate any further.

Mona was busy in the corner, analyzing the dungeon with her persona. "Hm...that's strange, it says we have about...30 floors!?" She gasps. "WHAT!?" Paimon exclaims. "I know this is a castle but it's far too many for us to take care in less than a week." Xinyan stated. "Might I suggest we take another few floors and then leave for the day?" Kazuha said. "Yeah, that's fine."

"Sorry everyone, I'm just worried about her." Mona sighed. "It's okay. Because of the camping trip, we couldn't get to her sooner." Lumine said in reassurance. "Yeah, don't sweat it!" Xinyan added.

The fog was getting nearer and all of them had to push themselves due to the amount of floors and puzzles there are. If this were their usual run-through, they wouldn't have to do this.

"This is the last floor! Everyone, are you ready?" Mona asks. Everyone gave their nods of approval before opening the door. "Library? Why are we inside a library?" Mona asked. "Shouldn't it be like...the Princess' bedroom or something?" Xinyan added. "Hey! It's Fischl!" Paimon cried out as they all rushed towards her.

"My dear retainers! How long hast it been since I've seen another soul?" Fischl said in relief. "Fischl? Shouldn't you have met your Shadow...?" Kazuha asked. They all looked around to find her Shadow and Lumine spotted a person standing on higher ground at the distance. "Over there!" Everyone turned to where Lumine pointed.

"So you must be the so-called Shadow my retainers have been looking for. The useless and cowardly Prinzessin." Fischl glared at her shadow. "Hmph. How laughable. What gives you the impression that you can defeat me? You should know over the past few days I've seen all your fear and trepidation." the Shadow scoffed. "So, have you come to surrender to me, little Amy?"

"Amy?" Paimon looked at Fischl in confusion. "Now's not the time for questions." Kazuha whispered. "Ugh...you..!" Fischl clenched her fists in anger.

"I shall inform you that the Immernachtreich is a place with no way out." the Shadow stated. "What do you mean? Is not the Immernachtreich a sacred land of liberty and theater?" Fischl asked. "You are gravely mistaken if you presume the Immernachtreich to be some kind of amusement park. Listen closely...this place is a tomb for those who cannot face reality."

Fischl staggers back in shock, "A tomb...?"

"You of all people should know about this. Why does it always rain in the Immernachtreich? Why isn't there any music in this so-called paradise?" the Shadow asked. "Because of you! It's all because of you!" Fischl cried out. "Ahahaha...How pathetic! No, dearest Amy, not I, are the one responsible for all of this! You dreamed up a vast kingdom, but you can't bear it's weight. Swayed by fear, you can't face the very world you've created. You may try to avoid it but the fact is: You can't change yourself."

"You...! You..!"

"GAH!? Fischl, no! Don't say it!" Paimon cried out, trying to stop her from saying the forbidden words. But to everyone's surprise, she said something different "You're right...I can't face reality. I discarded my own name in favor for a Princess I dreamed to be!"

"You're right- Wait, HUH!?" It seemed like the Shadow wasn't expecting it either, but collected herself, "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. You think I can simply be swayed by words alone? Amy...you are a weak fool who doesn't deserve to be in this world. Begone." the Shadow summons several shadows to fight them.

"If I can't persuade you with words alone...Then I shall go onto your level!" Fischl declared. "Fischl, stay by me. We don't want you getting hurt." Mona held Fischl closely by her. "O-Okay then..." Her face became tinted with pink by the action. "C'mon everyone! Let's get her up there!" Xinyan exclaimed, taking out her claymore.

"Impossible! how did you make it through that nightmarish library...Stand down!" the Shadow demanded. But Fischl ignores her words and walks up to her, "Do you still think I'm going to lose?"

"You...!" Now it was the Shadow's time to be pissed.

"You looked down on me. You thought I was a worthless coward. And yes, I did use to be like that because...I am someone who can't face reality, who spends all day daydreaming and can't cope with setbacks or criticisms. The world I have created...the Immernachtreich, that is the source of my power, my imagination! And yes I am a coward! Fischl isn't some princess I dreamed of becoming anymore...I AM Fischl! This is MY kingdom and I want it back!"

Deafening silence surrounds the room, the Investigation Team had their weapons out just in case the worst-case scenario happens...but it doesn't.

"Hmph. I'm glad that you understand now..." the Shadow's voice wasn't spitting with venom and arrogance anymore, it was comforting. In a flash of blue light, the Shadow turned into a Persona known as Ozvaldo von Hrafnavins.

"Oz huh..." Fischl says in awe, "Well Fischl can't be without Oz after...all..."

"FISCHL!!!" The team cries out as Fischl collapsed. Luckily, Mona was able to catch her head before it hit the floor. "Phew. Paimon got worried." She sighed in relief. "I'll carry her when we head back." Kazuha offered. "Thank you Kazuha." Mona nods her approval. "Well, despite the time constraint, I'd say we did pretty well!" Xinyan exclaimed. "Let's go home everyone." Lumine summons a Goho-M to return.

Hi! Was the last real conversation you had intense? Or things got a little bit heated? I believe SP got overwhelmed by something that was said but instead of letting go of it, they decided to 'take a break' from this connection. You picked up quickly that something was off but you just couldn't put your finger on it, right? You kind of played along with it, "if we are not talking then we are not talking🤷🏽‍♂️". Although I don't think you did it out of bitterness, but you too got fixated on your personal business. This distance was needed for both to realize some things, like this connection may be precious, bring you happiness and other positive things, but you can't abuse of anything or it may go sour. There's a warning here, there's something venomous lurking in the deep waters. Great people also display toxic behaviors at times, but we shouldn't shut this people down just because, right? Everything is conversable or if it's something none would be comfortable addressing, then don't but people get tired to play dumb sooner or later, you know? Both will learn one or two things out of this experience. Your connection is not severed, and once you go back to speaking (I see a chance coming for this), things will be normal again. No grudges, no awkwardness, but sheer happiness to reconnect.

Colleagues in the invertebrate department of the Natural History Museum were contacted to identify the marine life used to decorate the hat and to give an idea of where some of these may have been collected. It was known that Eileen Agar visited the south of France and other areas along the Mediterranean coast and also that the cork had been picked up in St Tropez. It was thought that some of the marine life may also have been of Mediterranean origin. It was not possible to identify all the species of marine life found on the hat, but listed below are those that could be named. Where possible, their geographical distribution is given, showing that some of them were likely to have been collected in the south of France along the Mediterranean coastline.

Mytilus edulis (edible mussel), worldwide distribution Neptunea despecta (Neptune's whelk), Arctic seas Callista cf chione (smooth callista), English Channel to Mediterranean Cerithium vulgatum (common cerith), Mediterranean Venerupis pullastra (carpet shell), Norway to North Africa Asterias sp.(red starfish) Ophioderma sp. (brittle star).

The fish bone was identified as from Solea solea, the common sole found around the British and Norwegian coasts and in the Mediterranean. Quercus suber (the cork oak) is also a native tree of the Mediterranean region. Platanus hybrida (the London plane) is a garden hybrid. It is not found in the wild but is grown throughout Europe. However, it is said not to fare well in the extreme north or south 2 . The piece of plane tree bark used on the hat to support the fish bone may therefore not have been collected in the South of France and would seem from the evidence already discussed not to be part of the original form of the hat.

Valentine Day 2020 happened and as usual when such events rolls around, Japanese games studios, artists, character designers and developers all shared some Valentine-themed artwork on Twitter. Mobile and gacha games all do their own events too, revealing new illustrations for their characters. In Japan, Valentine Day is about women giving presents to men, with White Day on March 14 being the opposite, so the vast majority of artwork feature female characters. However, we have some male characters too. DualShockers compiled for your viewing pleasure various Valentines 2020 themed illustrations, gameplay videos, and a few bonuses, so you don’t have to set out for Twitter by yourself and face the cruel battlefield devoid of love that is social media.

In this Death End Re;Quest Chapter 8 Guide, I’ll be going over the path to clear the eighth chapter of the game and it’s boss. Death End Re;Quest is a unique RPG game that merges the typical JRPG and allows players to convert it into a fighting game, shooter, or even a slot game. There are other subtle quirks that the game possesses that will be simple to execute but difficult to master.

Death End Re;Quest Chapter 8 Guide

For Chapter 8 in Death End Re;Quest, players will be returning to an area they know well, Godot Ruins. This area was the main area in Chapter 3 and the general focus in Chapter 8. Be careful as all the enemies have been leveled up from before. Use type advantages to avoid being counter action-ed against and to deal a good amount of damage.

Godot Ruins (Outskirts)

From the Outskirts campsite, head down the tree branch and cross the top right bridge. Make a left to travel up the path leading to the next bridge. Enter through the gate, ascend the tree root, and then make a right. Make your way down from the high plaza and continue right to enter the next area.

Godot Ruins (Central Clock Tower Square)

From the entrance head left to pick up the 1 Enolef’s Ether found in the chest. Turn around, head straight across the bridge to find 1 Innocent Enze (230 ATK, 130 MAT, 180 MDF, 70 AGI) on the right and 1 Key Item on the left. Cross over the bridge once more to find the Lapse Wing Bow (188 ATK, 30 DEF, 70 AGI) on the left. Across from the chest will be a tree root that leads to this area’s campsite and a ! cutscene marker.

Switch to the real world to advance the story a bit then return back to the World’s Odyssey. Rest and save at the camp before heading towards the next ! marker as this will lead to several back to back fights.

Ripuka, The Slaughterer 6666 HP, 66 SP ★ Stars Type

Players will fight Ripuka once more in a new battle, she will now have a HP level of 6666. The team composition I used was Shina, Lucil, and Celica. Have Celica use Hone Power and double guard since Ripuka is surrounded by Bug Tiles. Position Shina so she can use Trally Bloom, and double Achewave to injure Ripuka. Next have Lucil use triple Phoenix Ray. If you’re team level is high and got good RNG, Ripuka should be defeated by now. For most, she will attack Shina with Execution Hymn, a Star Type skill which will cut about 50% of Shina’s health. Finish Ripuka off with triple Astate from Celica. Now be ready to fight another party member.

Lucil Filarete, the Half Elf in Glitch Mode 2124 HP 250 SP 100% Corruption ☀ Sun Type

During this encounter Lucil is quite fragile, needing only 1 full rotation of your party’s attacks to defeat her. If you trained Shina well she should have access to ☀ Sun type skills so use them (Ache, Achewave) while Celica should be using her most powerful attacks (Aster League, Aster Plaza, Asteria). Defeating Al grants players 47,520 Exp, and 1 Ultra Ogre Brew.

Lucil Filarete Redux (Glitch Mode) 4769 HP 250 SP 100% Corruption ☀ Sun Type

Lucil will absolutely destroy your party if you don’t pay attention to types. Avoid using ★ Stars Types in the lead team (Lily & Celica) as Lucil will deal massive damage to them. Attacking her with ☾ Moon type characters and skills will cause her to auto counter your attack. Fight Lucil with ☀ Sun and ★ Star Types skills for the best advantage. She is much more tank-ier than your first encounter so be wary of this.

If you have trained Shina well, she should have access to ☀ Sun type skills so use them to your advantage (Ache, Achewave) while Celica should be using her most powerful attacks (Aster League, Aster Plaza, Asteria). Al should use Sol Lance only. Switch characters if you need so for extra attack or defense.

Using Lily to heal the party while the other team members purposely regain their SP by walking over bug tiles in order to use their most powerful moves is a great tactic. It be best to defeat Lucil as soon as possible as her attacks can poison your team, as well as her strong DPS and defenses can make a long fight quite arduous if its unplanned. If you want to know more about each characters strengths and weakness check out our Death End Re;Quest All Girls Guide. Defeating Lucil grants players 143,520 Exp, and 1 Ultra Ogre Brew.

Finishing Godot Ruins (Central Clock Tower Square)

After the fights use Shina’s ability to climb up the scaffold and cross the bridges to find a Sun Blade (220 ATK, 90 MAT, 105 MDF) at the end. Drop down from the second round plaza to find the Beast Clan Insert below, once acquired make your way back to the campsite.

Save back at camp and switch to the real world to experience a cutscene. Afterwards its time to log back into World’s Odyssey.

Now head down the left root leading back to the start of the area and make a right. There will be a Viostar IILT (200 SP, 140 ATK, 140 DEF) tucked in a chest in the left corner. Head to the right, use Al’s Armo On ability to cross the poison bog to obtain the Portcur Horn (250 HP, 324 ATK, 58 AGI). Proceed to the ! marker near the right side of the map to watch another cutscene. Walk towards the left side of the map to find the Remote Buster (65 HP 67 SP, 300 ATK). Finally interact with the last ! marker.

Boss: Hiraru Sol

Start the fight having Celica use Hone Power and double Aster League into some bug tiles. Better to fully corrupt Hiraru Sol then to accidentally corrupt him later on, as he regains all his lost health. If you want to fight him without 100% corruption, make sure Shina uses Rokudein and Rokudian to clear out the bug tiles. Have Shina use Trally Bloom and Lunamis to gauge out his power. Use Clea’s triple Azure Bullets to knock Hiraru Sol off the walls to injure him further, as bouncing him off your teammates won’t be as effective. Walls deal roughly 26,000 damage while teammate damage deals a range from 807 to 2,000.

Hiraru Sol 331,000 HP 40 SP ☀ Sun Type 95% Corruption

Celica should use her most powerful attacks to exhaust her SP quickly. Save at least 40 SP for Shina to revive Celica just in case. Lunamis Diapathy will cut a huge chunk of health from the boss once Shina uses it. Continue having Clea use triple Azure Bullets and this fight end in your favour in no time. Defeating Hiraru Sol grants players 16,800 Exp, 2720 Eni, and 1 Enolef’s Ether.

Following this guide you will have successfully saved Lucil and defeated Hiraru Sol.
