How to understand that your Sun needs to be activated?

Aries Sun

Astro Observations #1

Notes: this is my first attempt with astro observations and I remember that even if I'm talking about individual placements, obviously you always have to consider the entire natal chart. I really hope you like this first experiment 🙌

🌌 I've noticed that people with Venus in Libra tend to be more materialistic in expressing their affection. They can often give gifts, or in any case give something on a material level to the person they love, instead of throwing themselves into an intimate or emotional / physical contact (it also depends on the moon) they prefer to give something away.

🌙 I find that people with a Libra moon often think about relationships or often fantasize about someone in particular or even more people, more than they would like.

🌫 If there are negative aspects between Saturn and Neptune in your natal chart (especially the square and the opposition) you could be in a strange or nebulous relationship with the father figure. Your father may have often been absent or unreachable both physically and psychologically or communicatively when you were a child especially. Or it could also be an individual you feel you never fully understood, he could be engaging in behaviors that you don't understand.

🌅 The natal sun in water houses adds a layer of uncertainty but depth to personality and ego. For example with the sun in the 8th house in a fire sign we will see a more hidden ego, as if it takes longer to recognize and see a person's true nature, the fire may not go straight to the face.

☄️having Mars in conjunction with Venus in the birth chart can lead (with other aspects of tension above all) to having a hate and love relationship with the zodiac sign of this conjunction. For example I have this aspect with Venus and Mars in Cancer and I tend to have this type of relationship with this sign (obviously omitting the rest of the birth chart of the people in question), it's like a swing, at certain moments I feel a peak of sympathy and in others a sense of dislike, as if there is something inherent in the characteristics of the people with this sign behavior.

🌑People with various scorpio placements (especially mercury in scorpio or mercury and mars in scorpio) are inclined to talk even with strangers about heavy topics. What might be taboo for many becomes normal topics for them, and sometimes people look at them as if they've dropped a bomb all of a sudden.

1. ARIES RISINGS:

being honest I don't know any aries risings personally. this will be based on celebrities, i'm sorry fellow aries risings :/. these folks usually have long names, or names with heavy pronunciation, lots of SHs and Rs. since they represent a ram they are not necessarily connected to fire. some of the meanings those names could have: spring, flowers, dragon, courage, dancing, art, warrior, fire, persistence, strength, boldness, tower, iron. those names could be of mongolian, latin, greek (spartan) and arabic origins. you could be even named after great warriors, comadants, rulers (napoleon, katherine the great). names i've noticed amongst these folks: shakira, timur, sheyla, seulgi, batzorig.

2. LEO RISINGS:

their names are a great combo with their last name most of the time (tina turner, marilyn monroe). they are not long, but not short, they are usually not even hard to pronounce and are very easy to remember, that helps them become really well known. names could carry those meanings: sun, shine, bright, lion, king/queen, gold, passionate, vivacious, royal, theatrical, spotlight, warm, strict, righteous leader. they could've got their names from royalty and they could be of any origin but usually french or british. the names i noticed among leo rising folks: leila, danin, margot, basile, soleil, elin, jin.

3. SAGITTARIUS RISINGS:

like the name of their zodiac rising their personal names could be long as well, or just funny to pronounce even tho they are short. (cheryl cole). however those names are unusual and are very unique. i didn't notice a certain pattern in word or letter play in their names, it connects to the witness and originality of sags. their full names could end sentences or make slangs (summer dawn, fa hua and other examples in other languages). they tend to have lots of nicknames. possible meanings: arrow, funny, smart, curious, hot, healer, princess/prince, chiron. names i've noticed: anne, tequila, summer, višnja, dunja, persephone, diana, dahyun.

Most of these are Venus, Neptune, or Mercury related, so it makes sense why these would be big indicators. One of the really prominent placements in famous singers' charts is Moon in the 12th, which I interpret to mean expression of emotion (through singing).

Metal Vocalist Indicators in Astrology

I decided to do something a little different to practice reading natal charts so I had the idea to look at metal vocalists' natal charts. Unfortunately, for many of them I couldn't find any birth times so these will mostly be aspects and planet placements. I was specifically aiming for metal vocalists that actually "scream" and not just sing, even if the music they make is more like rock rather than metal to see if there's any significant indicators. So i'll start this list with the placements I saw the most.

Water Mars

This is the placement that appeared the most. I was actually very surprised at first to see this placement pop up A LOT. But the more I thought about it, the more things added up, because of how much water mars bottle up how the feel. I think water mars channel the energy of metal music very well. I was expecting to see a lot of fire mars, but I only saw a sprinkle of leo mars and aries mars here and there.

Examples:

Scorpio mars: Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Marilyn Manson (Marilyn Manson), Angela Gossow(Arch Enemy), Joe Duplantier (Gojira), Franz (Attila), Kadeem France(Loathe), Winston McCall (Parkway Drive).

Cancer mars: Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Caleb Shomo (Beartooth), George Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Chris Roetter (Like Moths to Flames), CJ McMahon(Thy Art is Murder), Alex Koehler (Chelsea Grin), Ben Burnley (Breaking Benjamin).

Pisces mars: Chino Moreno (Deftones), Zach de la Rocha (Rage against the machine- yes, i know, he raps, but he does in fact scream in his music), Frank Mullen (Suffocation), Jake Luhrs(August Burns Red).

Mercury-Uranus

This placement makes a lot of sense, because this placement is a huge indicator of having a unique voice in general. I mostly saw a mix of harsh aspects(conjunction, oppositions and squares.), but there were some harmonious placements also.

Most of the people on this list above had this placement, but here are some without water mars:

Ex:

James Hetfeild-conj.(Metallica), Tatiana Shamayluk-sextile(Jinjer), Maynard James Keenan-trine(Tool/ A Perfect Circle), Morgan Landers-sextile(Kittie).

Mars-Uranus

People with this placement have a desire to express themselves through ways that are considered 'out there', hence, this is a good placement for metal vocalists(screaming).

Ex:

Tom Araya -conj.(Slayer), Corey Taylor -opp.(Slipknot), Maria Brink -square(In This Moment), Lacey Sturm -Trine (Flyleaf), David Draiman -square(Disturbed), Chad Grey -Trine(Mudvayne).

Extra Indicators:

These placements weren't as common but I saw some synchronicities to them, so here are some extras.

Mercury-pluto/lilith/saturn- I suppose these placements could sort of an edge to how people communicate, but it wasn't super abundant.

Sun-Mars - this was fairly common, and ofc it makes sense that people with this aspect would do something as bold as scream in music.

Moon-mars - This one wasn't super common but I could definitely see how people with this placement could be potential metal vocalists.

Leo Mars- after all the water mars this is the other more common mars placement. Roar, Leo, roar!!

Taurus Mars- Yet another placement I was not expecting, but I did see it in a lot of people's charts.

Possibly Virgo moon- okay, to be fair, again, most of the natal charts I looked at didn't have birth times so this could be inaccurate. If it wasnt for that I would've put this placement at the top of the list with water mars, but from what I saw a-hell-lot of vocalists had this moon sign.

Conclusion

I'm going to be honest, I was expecting to see a lot of aquarius or aries, but to my suprise that wasn't the case. But the point of this post isn't to say that you MUST have these placements to be a vocalist or whatever, but just to see what kind of energy is most likely to be suited for metal screaming. I put a lot of time into researching this stuff, but it was fun anyways😁.

Venus and Your Voice

I have come to the conclusion that depending on what house Venus is in, it can affect your singing style. It has nothing to do with your second house. I, for example, have Venus in Cancer so my voice is more "comfy, welcoming, soothing, and somewhat mothering" my sister has Venus in Libra (or so she tells me) now Libra Venus can make a wonderful voice but it tends to mean that they copy thd more popular styles of singing. Because Libra venus is a lovely placement, they tend to try and sing the most liked way because they are people pleasers.

I also noticed that fame has nothing to do with moon signs. The MC can point out how successful and long lasting fame will be should you acquire it. Me and my sister have Capricorn MCs but somebody with a MC in say... Sagittarius may have on and off fame.
