The very first photo of Jupiter was taken in 1879 by the Irish astronomer Agnes Mary Clerk. From there we can see a major improvement in observing astronomical objects and we can actually see in great detail Jupiter, a planet located 700 million km (434 million miles) away. Jupiter observations improved massively when the Juno space probe arrived in the planet's orbit in 2016 (after a 5 year journey). Since then, Juno gathered a plethora of data about the magnetosphere, atmosphere, gravitational fields and Jupiter's moons. Currently, Juno is still orbiting Jupiter and will continue to do so until 2025 when the spacecraft will be deliberately burned up in Jupiter's atmosphere

This was the view about 1/3 the way up on our hike to the summit of Mt. Batur for sunrise. Seeing the night sky from the Southern Hemisphere was pretty dang cool I have to be honest. If you notice a lil smudge in the sky off to the right side - you’re onto something, because that’s actually another galaxy outside of our own, called the Large Magellanic Cloud. That puppy isn’t visible from Northern Hemisphere usually, so seeing it in person for the first time was awesome! 🌌🌌🌌 This hike was such a great experience and I have more photos from it to come! It was a long ass day tho lol. Galaxisunk sávja

Nyári éjszakákon derengő sávot szerintem sokan látjuk, ha derült az ég és nincs Holdfény. A Tejút talán a nyári esték velejárója. Falusi embernek régen hozzátartozott az életéhez. Mostanában viszont lassacskán elnyeli a fényszennyezés, bár a falvakból még mindig lehet látni, de városokból már esélytelen vagy csak nagyon tiszta időben, nagyon ritkán.

Nyári esténként galaxisunk centrumát is láthatjuk déli irányban. Aki szereti fotózni a csillagos eget, biztos, hogy lefotózta jópárszor már a Tejutat, akár a központi magvidékét.

S vannak olyanok, akik “halomba fotózzák”, nem is csoda, hisz igen látványos az az ezüstös derengés odafenn.

Ha a déli féltekéről nézi az ember egy olyan helyről, ahol nincs fényszennyezés, ott nem holmi derengés, hanem tényleg szinte ottvan a Tejút. A központi magvidék ragyog. A ködösségek könnyedén felismerhetők. Tényleg úgy érzi az ember, hogy egy galaxisban van.

A 2018 óta készült felvétel egy olyan fajta mozaikfotó, mely a déli és az északi féltekén látható Tejút nagyrészét kombinálja úgy, hogy középen a centrum van. 

Eme felvétel 14 panelből áll, mely külön külön 22 x 300 sec expót tartalmaz. Feldolgozás közben a légkör képromboló hatását győztem legyalulni. A Tejút látványa így olyan, mintha egy másik galaxisnak a síkjában látnánk rá.

Noha a déli része a Tejútnak korábban kész volt, de az északit egyszerűen nem sikerült összegyűjteni, nyilván a magyarországi időjárás miatt.

Csak a déli féltekéről készült felvétel korábban már szerepelt Astrobin-en nap képeként.

Egy nyers felvétel így néz ki alább:

Mivel a déli féltekén kiváló volt az ég, ezért nem sokat kellett dolgozni a fotón. Nem volt se fényszennyezés, se pára. Esetleg légkörfény okozhatott problémát.

A déli félteke Tejútja fényesebb, látványosabb mint az északi. A Szeneszsák középen könnyedén felismerhető volt elsőre ... még sötétetített ablaküvegen keresztül az autóból is.

Galaxisunk centrumában egy hatalmas szupermasszív fekete lyuk foglal helyet, melyet igazából elrejtenek a porködök és a többi csillag. Míg szabad szemmel láthatatlan, addig különböző hullámhosszon vizsgáló távcsövek átlátnak ezeken a porfelhőkön.

Eme felvétel Hónap Asztrofotója lett a Magyar Asztrofotósok Egyesületének galériájában. Hasonlóan az előző felvételekhez, itt is egy Canon EOS1100D gyűjtötte a fényt. Bár működne ez hagyományos fényképezőgéppel is, de itt el lett távolítva az IR/UV blokkszűrő.

A teljes tejútmozaik egy 24mm-es Samyang objektívvel készült, mely f/4-re lett rekeszelve a lehető legtökéletesebb csillagmező elérése érdekében. Egy objektívről hamar kiderül, hogy nem tökéletes. Elég a csillagos égboltra irányítani és a képszéleket megnézni. 

Az utolsó felvétel egy Canon EOS6D-vel készült, plusz egy 50mm-es objektívvel szintén f/4-re rekeszelve. Alul az elmosódott táj mutatja, hogy körülbelül ennyi látszódik Magyarországról a Tejút centrumából. Mivel a horizont felett van átfotózva, ezért a légkör mégjobban torzít, még sűrűbb a légkörfény, és minden más, pld. fényszennyezés.

Az elmosódott horizont az óraműves állványnak köszönhető, hiszen ezeket a felvételeket nem lehetne anélkül elkészíteni ilyen minőségben.
