AU Summary for my Memory Restoration AU (MR AU)

This is MRSimon (Memory Restoration) aka SantaSimon

His head is inhabited by all the wearers of the crown: Simon, Santa, Sveinn and Gunther.

How did this happen, you wonder?

While trying to find a way to fix her Simon, this world's Magic Betty came upon a spell that supposedly restored any locked away memories.

When she cast the spell on him while he wore his crown though she didn't just unlock Simon's memories, she unknowingly tore down the labyrinth inside the crown, releasing all the past wearers into Ice King's head.

The sudden influx of memories of not only the past 1000 years, but also four separate lifetimes and personalities was overwhelming and incredibly difficult to adjust to, both for MRSimon and for his Magic Betty.

But with time and lots of patience, they eventually managed to find some semblance of normalcy and happiness.

Sure, MRSimon's new condition's still far from perfect and he totally needs therapy, but he finally remembers Betty and can be with her.

And thanks to Santa and Sveinn he's found new distractions in knitting, baking and woodworking.

They're pretty much the happiest a couple suffering from Magic, Madness and Sadness can be.

Simon Petrikov the human is a part-time hero to the local monster kingdom and any in need! He enjoys adventure, learning about history, and finding ancient artifacts. He fights with a crossbow and has a very good aim! and he lives with his older sibling Gunter

Gunter is Simons older sibling, their parents used to live in the ice kingdom before moving away. now they live with simon in their treehouse. they have a short temper and like to break stuff. they have the special power to make green clones of themself

The Ice Prince is the ruler of the frozen land of the ice kingdom! he doesn't limit his kidnappings to just princesses and everyone's in danger of being "saved" and taken to his kingdom. He once was a boy named Finn Mertins before the ice crown took hold. he seems to really want a little brother to play with

A Bump in the Road

♡ When they got to the Emergency Room, the nurses immediately wheeled Betty to an examination room once they saw the trail of blood behind her and Simon. But they needed him to stay behind. They needed help from the hospital security to practically pry them away from each other so they could treat her.

♡ After an hour of waiting when Betty was finally stabilized, Dr. Olson, came out to give Simon the bad news; Betty experienced a late miscarriage. But during their treatment, they had to strap her down to the bed and give her a sedative so she wouldn’t worsen her injuries.

♡ Betty’s situation was time-sensitive. She was in danger of getting an infection, so after updating Simon, Dr. Olson performed a surgical evacuation immediately.

♡ "Princess, we can have another baby. But I can't have another you."

♡ Given Betty’s medical history, a recorded suicide attempt when she was 13 years old, and how she was so distressed that they had to sedate and restrain her, Dr. Olson put her on Suicide Watch, just to be on the safe side.

♡ Up until this point, Simon didn’t know her struggles with her mental health were this severe.

♡ In the meantime, he called Betty’s mother and told her what was happening. She was at the hospital within five minutes.

♡ Alice Grof had trouble warming up to Simon from the beginning. She never liked how he stopped Betty from going on that trip to the Outback. But her daughter was happy, and that’s what mattered the most. And while their relationship wasn’t the warmest, they respected each other. She comforted Simon whilst Betty was still in surgery.

♡ Betty recovers in the hospital for five more days, drained both physically and emotionally. When she first wakes up following the procedure, she’s unresponsive, almost catatonic, and withdrawn from reality to process all the trauma of the whole situation. Simon and Alice make sure she’s never by herself during those five days.

♡ Alice stays with her daughter one day so that Simon can go to their apartment and bring some of Betty’s stuff to the hospital to help her not be as anxious during her stay.

♡ The day before they were ready to go back home, Alice offered to tidy the place up so Betty could recover in a clutter and stress-free environment. She cleaned the blood off their sheets and carpet, made everything neat, stocked their fridge and pantries with food, and made sure their bathroom had the necessary medical supplies to help the healing process. She also hid all items related to their lost baby in a trunk in their hall closet, out of sight, and waiting for whenever Simon and Betty were ready to try again.

♡ When they came back home, they took three weeks off of work so they could mourn their loss together.

♡ Betty returns to taking all her regular antidepressants and antipsychotics. They stabilize her mood and help keep her focused and ‘normal’ when she returns to work, but she’s still numb and withdrawn for a while.

♡ She visits with her mom more frequently, going over to her and her partner Suzanne’s house once a week. The visits help her in her grief.

♡ When Betty started getting her period again, her heart shattered all over again. Simon asked her mother to come over for a few days. 

♡ Proceeding with caution, Simon asks her about what he discovered in the hospital. He wants to understand her past struggles with her mental health; the suicidal ideation in her childhood, the self-harm tendencies, the OCD, the ADHD, the bipolar disorder she inherited from her mother, her past of pain, all of it. He wants to know so he can fully understand how to help her if she spirals again in the future. 

♡ It’s hard for her to open up about that.

♡ Betty avoids intimate and vulnerable situations with Simon for a while. He doesn’t mind at all and is willing to wait as long as she needs. The farthest she’s willing to go is cuddling with him in her underwear. Two months after coming back from the hospital, they graduate to taking showers together again.

♡ At night, Betty still holds Simon’s hand to her stomach as they sleep in bed.

♡ She can still feel their baby kicking from time to time, like experiencing phantom pain after losing a limb.

♡ In an effort to help Betty heal and get back to her old self, Simon surprises her by taking her on a two-week vacation to Ireland; Betty’s dream trip.

♡ A week into the trip, they retire to their suite early after having dinner at the hotel restaurant along with a bottle of wine. And for the first time since their loss, Betty lets Simon all the way in. That night, they unknowingly conceive their future daughter.

♡ The day before they fly back home to Seattle, Simon proposes. Betty says ‘yes.’ And after three months of sitting with their heartbreak, they feel hopeful for what the future might bring them again.

♡ Two months into their engagement, Simon embarks on a solo journey to follow up on a lead for an especially rare artifact.

♡ We all know what happens from here; what was meant as an innocent and playful gesture sparked earth-shattering consequences.

♡ Betty is absolutely petrified by her fiancee’s abrupt personality switch once he puts on the mysterious crown. That wasn't her Simon. So, when a portal to the future opens showing her the fiancee she knew and loved, she doesn’t think twice before she impulsively jumps through a thousand years and into the land of Ooo.

♡ She's blissfully unaware that she didn't jump through that portal alone.

Damn now I’m in Conflict about the idea of an Undertale Adventure Time AU because most characters slots into their roles pretty smoothly but… on the one hand Finn the Human -> Frisk the Human feels like a no-brainer, but also Papyrus and Sans are already a Sibling Duo with an overeager and energetic younger brother who is incredibly heroic and caring, and a lazy and more chill older brother who would be Incredibly OP if he wasn’t a lazy goofball all the time. So…. I dunno which to choose.

Adventure Time (What If):

So far, this is just the whole thing happening in Fionna and Cake’s world but it’s with Finn and Jake where everything’s normal and regular. It’s more of a parallel universe thing going on that's out of a Prismo wish someone made after the finale. LOL

The Mushroom War never happened in this universe and humans carried on with their lives.

Finn Mertens is just a regular guy who happens to have a pet dog named Jake who is just a regular dog that he had ever since he was a young boy who keeps him company and emotional support and he went through a lot, but Jake helps him keep going.

He mainly had more relatable everyday adventures and facing challenges of growing up, is an online gamer, is an anime fan and plays DND, hangs out with his friends, and visits Simon at his antique shop and help him out part-time to support his mother when both his parents were splitting up in a divorce. Also Finn collects a ton of action figures and has lots of them in his room. Even though that he has an ordinary life, he still feels like there is something missing with it. Finn dreams of exciting adventures, rescuing the princess, and battles good vs. evil. But one day.. he discovers an ancient crown from Simon’s shop which gave him visions Ooo.

AU Summary of my Genie AU

This is GenieSimon

In this AU Simon actually decided to get on the bus with Betty, which lead him to come across different artifacts than in canon.

One such artifact was an empty genie lamp which sucked Simon in to turn him into its new genie when he rubbed it as a joke.

Once she got over the shock, Betty rubbed the lamp and became Simon's first master, trying to free him with her 3 wishes, but no way she tried to formulate it worked.

Once Betty's wished were wasted, Simon got stuck in the lamp and Betty held onto it, trying to find a way to get Simon out until she inevitably lost it during the mushroom war.

Little Marcy became Simon's second Master when she found the lamp in the rubble while looking for food and water.

Simon, seeing the situation the world and this lone little girl were in got Marcy to wish for him to take care of her for as long as she needed him. Her second wish was to change the lamp into something more huggable and despite his warning, she tried to use her third wish to free him, wasting it.

Thanks to her first wish, Simon was still able to leave the "lamp" though until she got old enough to take care of herself, then he was once again stuck inside the now plush-toy lamp.

Marcy held onto the Hambo-lamp until Ash sold it to some wizard. She tried to get him back, but was always one step behind as he got traded or stolen further until he eventually ended up in Finn & Jake's treasure pile.

I remember picking up an adventure time comic from the library and meeting this quirky little fella, his name is adventure tim!

i think he's a version of both finn and jake from some sort of parody universe.

unfortunately I never got to see him use Jake's stretchy powers in the comic, so I imagined how it would probably work.

what if his hat was actually part of his head and kind of worked like shapeshifting hair or something? and he just usually likes to form it into a hat.

i doubt he'll ever appear in the show but it would be cool if he made a cameo or something.
