The reason why I can't behind any of the characters or things they do is that they're made into hypocrites.

You got Mina and Eijirou who're against bullies yet are friends with Bakugou don't do anything when he gets onto All Might.

Hawks who had a past with an abusive father and when Endeavor is exposed as one, he doesn't react or say anything about it.

Izuku with his quirkless past yet doesn't offer any sympathy towards those like him, like how he tried to make Nighteye laugh or Aoyama.

And then there's Aizawa... the guy's a walking hypocrite so I don't feel like going into any of the things he did.

All this makes it difficult to really get behind and like these characters when they contradict their characteristics this much all to make the worse characters look good.

Exactly this. Hori's characters act how HE wants them to to service the plot rather than what would fit their characters. So we have situations like this where they become hypocrites and bad things are implied about them. We have talked about Aizawa before so I'll focus on Izuku, Kirishima, Mina and Hawks.

Izuku - was quirkless, was horrifically abused by Bakugou for this as well as daring to try to help him out a river once.

Also Izuku - is NOT allowed once to reflect on the similarities between Aoyama and himself. Is NOT allowed to think one bit on his quirkless past or the horrific bullying (abuse) he went through. Does not seek to change the status quo now that he is a part of it. Or think about how HE could change how quirkless are being treated. This in my most charitable interpretation could be Izuku's self hatred coming out full force, he doesn't want to think about when he was quirkless so he doesn't. But this could also be construed as arrogance, stupidity and narrow minded-ness.

Izuku - knows in graphic detail the Todofam situation, is best friends with Todoroki Shoto and confronted Endeav for being a POS when he first met him.

Also Izuku - Acts like a fanboy of Endeavor in the agency arc and defends Endeavor to Dabi's face (another of Endeavor's victims.) - This puts a sour taste in my mouth not going to lie, this reads as Izuku thinking, 'because he's nice to me and he says he's going to change all is good now!' Also (unlike defending Shoto) defending Endeav just isn't necessary here. No one is denying Endeavor's mentorship or heroism skills. Dabi is saying he is an abuser and a shit dad which - you know - he is. Izuku reads as a naive, narrow-minded teenager at best here. There are better ways Hori could have worded Izuku stepping in - this wasn't it.

Mina and Kirishima: 'We hate bullies!' 😠 Very vocally anti bully, their heroism stories each center on it.

Also Mina and Kirishima: look on as Bakugou acts like the BIGGEST bully for all of the academic year and decide to become his besties. - This can be read as them being too thick to work out Bakugou is a bully at best. At worst... They read as cowards and hypocrites. The 'It's ok as long as he's not picking on me or my friends,' type.

Hawks: has an abusive father that was taken into custody by Endeav before being taken by the HPSC and enduring more intense training (likely abuse.)

Also Hawks: Despite his past abuse as an adult licks the boots of another abusive father, Endeav (Endeav's boots must be super shiny.) - Are we still pretending Hawks is an actual character at this point? All he is now is an Endeav Simp with some 'I killed Twice' angst sprinkled in. But I will save the major pieces of salt regarding Hawks for the ask I have about him. Least charitable interpretation - Hawks has LOW empathy thanks to his abusive childhood and latches on hard to a select few (Endeav) who he will protect, screw everyone else. Hawks doesn't care about Endeav's past child abuse, spousal abuse and literal crimes just what he means to him. Most Charitable - Hawks is an abused messed up person who never grew up past his idealisation of Endeav and clung to anything that meant he could keep the 'hero Endeav' in his mind intact.

With all of these deductions in mind, characters we are meant to root for feel flat, hypocritical, OOC and just downright bizarre at times.

Why? Because Hori bends characters to his script rather than writing the script for what works for the characters.

Why does it upset you? Or at least why are you so suspicious about Hawks shilling for Endeavor so loud? Is his support of Endeavor bad?

It just feels incredibly jarring that he keeps talking about Endeavor out of blue and in honestly very forced ways.

Hawks: look, Endeva-san, you have built a network of inspiration like OFA

Everyone: Go, Tokoyami!

Hawks: All of this is because Endeva-san beat him first (no mention of Jirou or Tokoyami smashing AFO's helmet or how it was a TEAM effort in the first place).

If all of this is to build up a cool, emotional climax with Endeavor - Dabi - Hawks, where Hawks' blind faith in Endeavor-as-a-hero will be crushed -> fine.

But if it truly is Horikoshi trying to keep reminding us that "eNdEvoR's WiN wAs So MeAnInGfUl" -> then it's just the same cringe writing he often resorts to when he doesn't trust his readers.

I worry, because I want the Todoroki plot to land well, and obviously Hawks, and his very blind admiration of Endeavor and unconditional support of him is part of the plot. Also, it's particularly jarring, because Hawks didn't start out like this. If you read back to the Pro-Hero arc - his view of Endeavor seemed way more nuanced than this uncritical simping we have seen since the end of the PLF war.

I hope that it all boils down to Hawks not processing killing Twice and making it his misplaced atonement of "supporting his friends" like Twice did, without examining the goals of said friends or looking at the wider implications of it.

I think Hawks acknowledging his own guilt is going to be a part of changing Toga's feelings - which seem to be echoed by the Twice clones. As long as Toga is out for blood / revenge, so will the clones (on every battlefield - note how also at UA they keep repeating the same phrase).

In a similar way that Endeavor saying sorry to Touya should be part of the solution.

But it will take Ochako and Shouto to truly change their minds.

Personally I would put overhaul (pre-prison) and afo in the same league look-wise. Both of them are muscular but afo is very tall and his face is a classically handsome one like a statue while overhaul has his eyes and is more of a pretty boy.

I think afo plays in a complete other league then overhaul when it comes to a muscular body. Afo is even bigger then all might and almost as muscular as him in his buff form if we go after his broad shoulders, his neck and his wide chest. His face is indeed very stature like, almost to symetric and perfect.

The only thing I find attractive about overhauls looks are his eyes. He isnt ugly at all, but more average looking in my opinion. But like I said people have different tastes. Maybe the reason why afo is way hotter and attractive to me is because Im older then your average bnha fan. While a teenager may get heart eyes for a boy band looking guy like hawks or people in their twenties have a thing for dabi and shiggy and mirko, because they are closer to their age, Im more interestet in someone who looks like, you know OLDER then me or at least closer to my age.

So teenage boys, or even overhaul, dabi, shiggy etc. are uninteresting for me. I want to look at a MAN and not a boy or manchild, if that makes sense (oh god, I sound so damn horny and like a lonely depressed single woman 😅🤣🤣). The thing is bnha doesnt have many attractive adult man over or close to my age. Aizawa is not very handsome (sorry aizawa I love you, but most of the time you look like a homeless rat with greasy hair and a badly trimmed beard), mic is not my type, the few fathers we saw from students are averange at best with endeavor looking the most attractive, but also not my type. The closest I ever was to simp for an adult man in bnha was for mr. compress. From all the adult men looking over 30 years afo is simply the only one who gets an reaction out of me when it comes to physical attractiveness!

midoriya

oh the midoriyas are nervous as hell. you're coming over for dinner and meeting for the first time ?? inko’s freaking out. cleans their house top to bottom at least 3 times. "izuku, does the lamp look better here or over there? what does y/n like to eat? does this outfit look like i'm trying too hard?" all of this chaos is adding to midoriya's own anxiety. "m-mom please calm down. y/n will be here in 10 minutes." he should really take his own advice because his shaky hands cause him to drop the utensils he was holding. the loud noise freaks out inko and she trips over the plant, knocking it over. omg cue horrified noises from both of them. luckily the food was done because as they struggle picking up the last bits of the broken pot, the doorbell rings. they welcome you in trying to hide everything that just happened lol. once you three are sitting at the table, inko is just watching your reactions to her cooking. please let her know it’s good ☹️ eventually light conversation makes things more comfortable and midoriya even holds your hand and looks at you with a loving smile as you talk to his mom. this warms inko’s heart and she knows, her son chose well 💕

bakugou

bakugou did not want you to meet his mom, at least so soon. his dad maybe, but not her. he knows how she is. mitsuki would tell you his embarrassing childhood moments or expose the times she has caught him simping for you. somehow mitsuki makes him bring you over for lunch. she’s really friendly and welcomes you with a hug. “omg y/n. i have been dying to meet you!! come in please.” bakugou is twitching and looking for the nearest exit but his mom is one step ahead of him and drags him to the table. “unfortunately katsuki’s father couldn’t make it. it’s just me.” “no worries!” mitsuki asks you questions about yourself. “you know y/n. i was worried this brat wouldn’t introduce us.” she says as she turns to him. “katsuki has changed since he met you.” the rest of the meal and conversation go smoothly. you say your goodbye and bakugou walks you out. when he comes back, he sighs a breath of relief until he feels a whack on his head. “listen! they’re a good one, treat them well.” mitsuki places her hands on her hips. “if you don’t, i have plenty of stories ☺️ ” he better be on his best behavior lol. bakugou won’t admit it but he liked watching you get along with his mom 💗

todoroki

todroki would be hesitant to introduce you to his family. meeting his dad is out of the question, he's very protective of you. he doesn’t know what he'd do if his father made any offensive remarks about you. natsuo and fuyumi are his first choice. but, natsuo and his college life conflicted with that day so, it’s just his sister. fuyumi is so happy for todoroki and wants everything to go well. she’s trying so hard to make things comfortable for you. her food is amazing do not even lie. his sister even tries to seem fun by telling you a joke lol. “y/n, why did the tomato turn red?” “why?” “because it saw the salad dressing, ha ha.” finger guns unironically. laugh out of politeness pls ajshshjsks. fuyumi is in awe when she sees you two clean up together. shouto is smiling and expressive around you. his sister smiles to herself, happy her brother has found someone 🥺 later down the line in your relationship, todoroki would introduce you to his mom. rei practically knows everything about you and already loves you. the way todoroki would talk about you during his visits ?? she has to meet the person making her son happy 💞

dabi

"never gonna happen." is what dabi says when you ask to meet his family. this is a very obvious answer if he’s told you his past. if not, this sounds hurtful and he knows that. so, he'd introduce you to the lov. dabi strikes me as a possessive person, so he was kinda hesitant sharing lol. "this is my family now." he gestures over towards the members of the lov. shigaraki probably playing some video game and barely acknowledges you. twice and toga come over and introduce themselves. “so, you’re dabi’s lover! you’re really cute!” toga can’t hide her excitement. twice is a shake your hand “i’m twice. dabs never wanted to introduce you and i see why.” kinda guy. dabi is like 😪 mr.compress and spinner introduce themselves later on while kurogiri is very hospitable. offers you something to eat or drink. they try not to make a big deal out of it because dabi hates that kinda thing. you sit with dabi on the couch while they practically interview you lol. dabi silently watches and pulls you closer to him. woah. they’re shook. dabi? showing some? idk? affection? but they don’t point it out cuz then they risk getting burnt 😬

hawks

sadly, keigo doesn't have family or loved ones and barely trusts any colleagues. who can he bring you home to ?? i feel like this would make him feel a bit insecure. makes him stay up at night wondering if you'll find someone else that has a big family to welcome you. keigo holds you a bit tighter when it crosses his mind. he'd mention you here and there. the pro heroes like mirko and edgeshot have seen a photo of you. even endeavor knows about you. i don't think keigo would plan for you to meet them until accidentally, it happens. you would be working your 9-5 when you see the number one hero and your boyfriend walk in. keigo's eyes light up when he sees you, "hey dove. hope i'm not distracting you." he walks up to where you're at and enji follows. "uh this is y/n. y/n this is-" "endeavor." enji bows and you do too. "keigo. please don't overwork yourself today. you got this." enji watches keigo melt at your words "i won't. love you." they exit the building after getting what they needed. the moment makes endeavor wonder if his kids will find someone like you. since nothing bad happened, keigo is already thinking of introducing you to mirko 💖

He has probably made a thousand posts asking midoriya how it works until people just, they just, accept it, I guess, there's nothing else they can do. He uses the Facebook mom tulip emoji and writes in all cap. Give him credit for being so sweet tho.

• I'm sorry for this but.... Midoriya, Denki and Kirishima probably lick their finger after they absolutely drill it in their noses but here's the deal

Midoriya inspects what he fished out like thoroughly, Denki dissociates while staring at it, and Kirishima does so straight out of his nose

• Someone told Shoto that Saiki K is based on true events and he genuinely believes it and tries to find Saiki K, claiming that he is the answer to all of his problems. Is very subtle about it tho.

• I think that in part one of these atrocious head canons we established that Keigo would willingly put effort to find the clit, right? Listen he probably asks what's the concept of the clit, like why is it outside and not inside- wait you have another spot inside, yeah? He's is so confused and for what? Won't stop for it mid sex but he searches reproduction organ anatomy later on on google because he brought some questions in his brain that need answers. On the clit. You heard me right.

• Dabi looks like he once had a break up that was so rough that he opened a Twitter just to drag the other person down. For once, I won't go into detail and will let your imaginations run wild.

• I have to do a a cursed one for Bakugo right? Well yeah uhm, he probably was caught flexing his muscles in the mirror during vacation, totally naked too, by one of his friends in his group and screamed in a high pitched voice and picked up that little hotel room fridge to cover himself up and chased them around the hotel room until he just crushed the poor item. To the floor? Because he tried to use it as a cover up and it just slipped... It's even worse if the friend was a potential s/o. He'll scream like one of the screaming/simping TikTok sounds.

• Bakugo also really hates chairs. Idk why I have this headcanon, but I know it in my heart that this man, as an adult, only has those round weird- ish IKEA stools around the kitchen table that's all. No more chairs. Nothing.

• this is too self indulgent but Kirishima and Deku look like the people who, while washing forks, spoons etc they create whole stories about them and treat them like characters, and others would just look at them so confused as to why it takes 16 minutes to wash off a spoon and why are they also crying but you wouldn't understand. This spoon is Cinderella. Back off and let. them. finish. their. stories.

• I feel like Jirou has phases where she only wants to wear black but then she sees a nice pair of jeans and buys it, and then buys some more and then she gets mad about having blue jeans and she dyes them, but then she grows out of that phase for a few months and she tries to find ways to make the fabric paint fade away

• I also think that she, after spending a little time with Momo, spends money on a lot of clothes, and it's not like Momo buys too many clothes, but Jirou always wants to upgrade her wardrobe and ends up feeling lost on what she wants to wear

• Denki and Kirishima turn into the same person a little more every single time they hang out together. You'll listen to Denki say 'manly' all the time and Kirishima starts trying to find leather jackets that look cool on him, and just adopts Dennis speaking habits.

you were used to people always being surprised when they saw the excited state of your eyes

if anything, bakugou thought your eyes were prettier than anything he’d ever seen

but everyone just adores her

her toothless smile just warms up everybody’s hearts

the day ends with you, the baby, and shigaraki in his room, getting ready for bed

he’s grumbling bc “can’t we just leave her on the couch or something”

you ignore him and he’s forced to get in bed bc no matter what, he’d never give up the chance to cuddle with you...even if it is with some stupid baby

after she falls asleep, you sigh and lean on his shoulder

“you really think she’s ours?” you ask

he wants to say i hope not, but the way you look at him with all the hope in the world makes his heart tingle

instead of answering, he softly kisses your lips and tucks the both of you in

when you both wake up, the baby is gone--probably back to her timeline

you're a little sad and shigaraki only says what he says NOT BC HE THINKS IT’S TRUE OR SOMETHING but bc your misery makes him itch

“don’t worry. i’m sure we’ll see the brat again someday”

Dabi:

when you came back to your apartment, holding a load of groceries, you were quite surprised to see the situation at hand

in the middle of your living room was dabi, at his big ass age, wrestling with a kid that couldn't be older than 12

least to say, you were pissed

“come on, fess up you little runt. did my old man have another kid”

“for the last time, NO! i��m yours!!”

“stop lying! my pull out game is too strong for that”

“EW! get off of me you staple-faced, burnt chicken nugget lookin’ fu--”

that’s when you intervened

“chicken nugget lookin’ what?” you questioned, looking at the boy with the look™️

the boy’s expression went from angry to scared in 0.2 seconds

dabi’s kind of impressed

“father. i-i was gonna say father”

“oh, that’s what i thought bc if you were gonna say what i thought your were gonna say, then i’d have to whoop your ass. but you weren’t, correct?”

“no ma’am”

“so we’re good?”

“yes ma’am”

“perfect. now what’s this about him being your father?”

dabi is taking out of his smugness and flinches under the heat of your glare

you ask him one time who he slept with and when he tells you you're crazy, you lunge at him

your kid lets you get a couple of good hits in before he decides to drop the news that he’s you two’s son of three from the future

you pause, his hand on your face and your fist in his hair

“deadass?” dabi says

the boy nods his head and you two take the time to look at him

his features are undeniably yours and dabi’s; he was one of those kids that if you sat them next to one or the other, they could look like both parents

you two take it better than he thought you would

“i always knew you wanted kids with me. simp”

dabi can’t even deny it. he just rolls his eyes and acts all tough

then he asks, “you sure you’re not gonna get erased from the time continuum by telling us?”

the boy shrugs “i mean...i hope not”

it’s beyond y’all at this point

so you spend the day with the kid, who was named after Dabi (Touya Jr.), and it’s so obvious he’s a momma’s boy

he helps you cook, set the table, and wash the dishes

smiles at you like you’re the entire world

dabi is kind of jealous from all the attention you’re giving him

fumes at the middle finger junior sneakily flips at him

does it back

claims to hate the kid but wipes the crumbs off his lip without hesitation

junior got the itis and is down for a nap

calls you two mom and dad before falling asleep

you get all 🥺 and even dabi is a little nostalgic when junior disappears

it’s quiet for a moment and then he says,

“wanna do a practice round in baby-making. yknow? for the future”

you roll your eyes but you aint say no!

Takami Keigo (Hawks):

hawks didn't expect to see a tiny kid on the edge of a building on his day off

there wasn't a lot that scared him, but he couldn't deny the fear hammering against his ribcage as he saw the child look around before jumping

thank goodness his speed wasn’t just talk

he caught the girl who didn't look a day past six

he’s in the middle of giving her a huge lecture about safety and mental health, she just giggles and gives him the biggest kiss on the cheek

“haha! i knew you’d catch me if i fall, papa~”

he’s too angry to even register what she called him

“that was totally dangerous, kid! what if i hadn't seen you? then what?”

“then i would fly” she said like it was the most obvious thing

he’s dumbstruck as two beautiful white wings sprout out of thin air and allow her to float next to the hero with ease

hawks blinks bc yeah anyone could have wings, but he could tell that feather pattern from anywhere

it was his

it was like his own fingerprint was staring at him

did he accidentally knock someone up bc that would be a big uh-oh

y/n wouldn't like that at all

he asks the child who he is to her and she repeats, “papa~”

he then asks who the mother was and she goes, “mommy~”

she’s not the brightest crayon in the box, that’s for sure

“what’s mommy’s name, kid,” he asks with the patience of a saint

“Takami Y/N~”

“you’re coming with me”

flys across the city with conviction

you’re lying on your bed, face mask on and reading a book in peace before your oh so wonderful boyfriend comes crashing through your open window

you don’t even flinch. so used to his surprise visits, you close the book and sigh

“to what do i owe the great pleasure of having you break into my house? again”

hawks holds the cute girl up, squishing her cheek as she laughs from the adventure they just went on

“mommy!”

“surprise!”

this time, you drop the book

eventually, with some cupcakes and chicken, the little girl tells you two about how she went to play with some kid and got zapped by a quirk and ended up here

you also find out she’s the youngest of four

you look a little sick but keigo gives you a shit-eating grin

he’s so excited about having a family with you

you can’t deny the tingle in your heart

parades the girl around the house and they’re both laughing the same laugh, eyes bright with joy

it makes your heart hurt and now you have to join into the shenanigans

you spend the day playing games, doing face masks, and reading books to fall asleep to

when you wake up, she’s gone but keigo’s arms are still firmly wrapped around your waist

“so now that you know i’m gonna trap you with four kids, when are you gonna pop the question?” you joke

but hawks isn’t laughing. instead, he’s smiling at you in a way that makes your eyes widen

he digs in his coat and pulls out the ring

“i was gonna try and make it a little more romantic. but why wait? so, what do ya say to taking my last name?”

BNHA Chapter 327 Spoiler Analysis: Home Sweet Home

OH MY GOD, GUYS!!! DEKU GETS A BATH!!!! 🎉🛁 🧼 My broccoli boy finally gets squeaky clean, gets some sleep, and we finally get some R&R time with the Class 1-A kids. It’s not close to the happy-go-lucky days of old, but it’s some time with the kids nonetheless. I’m glad Horikoshi put some heart and humor in this chapter because god knows we needed it. But, let’s be real, this is the calm before the storm:

The chapter starts off with what everyone and Horikoshi has been wanting for Deku since he went on his mission: A motherfuckin’ bath 🛀 🧼🛁! Kaminiari and Kirishima lead the Class 1-A boys to carry Deku into their side of the UA Alliance bathhouse (looks real nice btw) and give him a good power-wash. The whole sequence is very comical! The boys are rushing in and poor Deku has this O_O face on him like “what is happening?” 😂 We also see some of the boys butt naked 😳 It’s clear that Horikoshi had fun drawing this thing and it was fun to read 💚

Bakugo is with them of course and you can actually see his scars from when Shigaraki stabbed him. He’s not bleeding, but you can see those scar patches on his skin. I’m curious of how fan artist are going to draw him from now on. I would like to see that fan art 👀

There’s also some bubble sfx coving Bakugo’s crotch and a translator said it might say dick or penis. I’m curious what the officials will say.

But, Bakugo being Bakugo is still aggressive towards his classmates. More playfully than before, but still. He reminds everyone that he still intends on being the best there is and that everyone is still his rivals (also friends, Bakugo). HE EVEN MAKES AN ATTEMPT TO CALL DEKU IZUKU! LIKE HE ALMOST SAID “DEKU” BUT HE CHANGED IT TO IZUKU AT THE LAST MINUTE! AND DEKU SAYS THAT CALLING HIM DEKU IS JUST FINE LIKE THAT ANGER THAT ORIGINATED FROM THE NICKNAME ISN’T THERE ANYMORE AND IT’S A FREINDLY NICKNAME BKDK FRIENDSHIP GROWTH YOU LOVE TO SEE IT 🧡💚

After Deku’s bath, he’s sitting in the commons talking to the rest of Class 1-A. Well, most of them. Mina tells Deku that Ochako and a few other students went to bed after everything became ok again. So, I definitely didn’t see Tsuyu, and it looks like Shoji, Aoyama, and Hagakare weren’t in this chapter either. Ochako I understand; her speech must’ve been emotionally taxing. Aoyama and Hagakare are the top suspects for being the traitor in the fandom and this isn’t helping their cases. I don’t know about Tsuyu and Shoji though. They’re both mutant-types, but characters like Ojiro or mutant-like people like Jiro, Mina or Tokoyami didn’t get outcasted. Horikoshi did hint that Shoji would be getting something soon. But, I really am just speculating here.

Now that Deku’s back, everyone has questions for him. Though I understand why, this has gotta be overwhelming for Deku. At least they’re not mad at him for hiding OFA. They seem very understanding actually.

Then my ❄️🔥 boy, Shoto Todoroki, comes in all handsome right out of the baths 💙 He’s drying his right side while you can see a steam cloud on his left. So, it is canon that Shoto drys himself naturally with his heat. His entrance is so pretty that even Mineta’s questioning it (shut up, Mineta, you’ll never be as beautiful as him). And yes, I might be a Shoto simp, don’t judge me I see y’all too 👀

Anyway, Shoto asks everyone to let Deku sleep since that was pretty much the whole reason they brought him back. Problem is, Deku can’t because he really needs to apologize to All Might for abandoning him. AND AFTER HE SAYS THAT THERE’S A DETAILED PANEL OF SHOTO POINTING TO ALL MIGHT LIKE “UH, MIDORIYA? HE’S RIGHT THERE” AND ALL MIGHT LOOKING FROM THE WINDOW LIKE A HORROR VILLAIN WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE 😭

All Might comes in and apologizes to Deku for not being able to support him when he needed it, but Deku says that All Might support him more than enough. Mina also scolds All Might for not saying anything when he left. She wants All Might to apologize to everyone for that. Though I’m glad Deku and All Might have reconciled (I honestly thought that last convo between them was going to be THE LAST for a hot minute), Mina has a point. All Might did bail on all of them without any warning. Kinda messed up in general.

All Might apologizes and he is going to fight with everyone regardless of his physical state so that he can see that flame continue to shine. However, he warns the kids that they got info on the villains and that the final decisive battle is coming soon. If the whole “Final Arc” thing hasn’t been hammered into your head, there you go. I’m also glad that Stain’s speech did end up motivating All Might further. Who knew?

So, All Might is off to help Endeavor since he’s got unfinished business to take care of. But, the kids are wondering why Endeavor (and probably Hawks) isn’t entering UA entirely yet. Shot reminds them that Endeavor is still connected to Dabi and that his presence alone would cause more discourse. People’s minds can’t change that easily. Shoto of all people would know.

As Deku FINALLY SLEEPS 💤 and Shoto puts a blanket over him (possibly warmed by his left side 🔥) 💙💚 Shoto acknowledges how his presence might be making people anxious too even though it’s not his fault at all (thank you, Kirishima for doubling down on this btw ❤️🪨). But, things are different and Shoto’s going to show that so that everyone can be at ease like he wants as a hero. There’s even this sweet small smile on his beautiful face as he says this. He’s grown so much and he’s pretty to boot I love him so much *HANDS IN FACE* 💙❄️🔥

EVEN KIRISHIMA’S CRYING FROM HOW MANLY SHOTO IS I LOVE THESE KIDS!!!!

And now Jiro steps up and says her piece. That she knows how hard it is to convince everyone to change their minds for the better. Like with those two critics from the Culture Fest. Even so, they accomplished this before, so she thinks they can do it again. She even gathers all the band members to emphasize on this. I love how Jiro uses her earphone jacks to rally the band and how she literally drags Bakugo by the shirt for a cute group shot. None of these kids are afraid of Bakugo anymore LOL 😂! Also, Momo is the tallest out of all of them in this line up shot (except for Bakugo who’s still being dragged on the ground). I think she’s roughly 5ft 6-7 inches? She’s the tallest of the girls I know that, but damn. She towers all of them. Even me... She’s also very pretty in this shot and it’s her birthday as I’m posting this, so happy b-day Momo ❤️

And we get a beautiful panel of Jiro leading everyone to make sure that they’ll go beyond with making everything better than it was before. We get a nice group shot of the rest of the class agreeing with her with a smile including Shoto with a small one (did I mention that I love him?) 💙💙💙 And Deku’s in the center still sleeping away. I hope he has good dreams *kisses forehead*💚 And go Jiro for stepping up to the plate too 💜! All these kids have grown so much. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Finally, the last pages show Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist going somewhere, maybe Tartarus. They got info out of Dr. Ujiko via polygraph and the Nomu Research Group at Central Hospital. They predict that they have 2 months until Shigaraki’s ready to go again, so they’ll need 1 month of preparation. But, the info Stain gave All Might gave them more info. His letter ended up being a personal letter to All Might (Stain really is that nuts...), but there was a microchip in the blade Stain left containing the security records from Tartarus. It’s not stated how this info affected the mission at hand, but it sounds like it has to do something with the time frame. So, I’m curious if they have less time to prepare or more? Given how this is the Final Arc, Imma say less.

Finally, the teaser asks “How are the villains moving?” I wonder if that means we’re switching to the villain’s next week. I would love to hang out with the kids more, but I would also like to know what our villains are up to. Like, where the hell is Himiko Toga? Is Spinner still questioning shit? What happened to Mr. Compress after he mauled himself to help Shigaraki and the others escape? Also I think we need more info on this dude’s backstory given he’s the grandson of the famous Robin Hood villain who’s name definitely didn’t escape me... 😐 Is Dabi laughing his ass off from the utter chaos he started? Is AFO still smiling like the evil mastermind he is? Is Shigaraki as crispy as he was earlier? I was going to ask about Twice but... 😭

So, yeah! Love this chapter. Really good transition chapter into whatever happens next. I’m kinda sad we didn’t see Deku fight off more past villains during his vigilante days. We got Muscular and Overhaul and I think that’s it? Didn’t see any of Overhaul’s minions or that teeth-blade villain (Fish-something?; he broke out, but we haven’t seen him since) or Re-Destro or his goons. I don’t count as Gentle or LaBrava as villains anymore and they were never truly evil to begin with. Regardless, it was a really cool arc to see a more dark side of Deku. I’m really glad Horikoshi made great use of his bunny hood and metal mask finally. Deku really did look demonic for some time. Also, seeing Deku badass is always a plus. And seeing the deconstruction of hero society and the possible reconstruction of it was really good too. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows, unfortunately, but we can do our best to make it that way.

I’m also glad that we finally got our kids back in top form. Not just being heroes, but being teenagers too. They all had great moments especially Iida, Ochako, and now Shoto as they should. But, Bakugo’s apology was peak for me. Over 320 chapters of development and build-up lead to that moment and it really is one of the best in the series. It lives in my head rent free.

So, we got 1-2 months in-manga-time until what is probably the final battle of the series. God, I can’t believe we’re actually nearing the end of this series. I started reading it back in 2018 when shit was rough for me. I found this series after listening to the music and reading the hype around it. I watched the show then I read the manga and it really helped me. Saved me from a dark place actually. I will miss this series when it’s done and I will be greatly for the joy Horikoshi has gifted us. I’ll try to save the farewells for later. I’d say this series has at least 1-1 1/2 years to go.

HMMM what are my thoughts on it? Well, let’s split it in two: Deku’s side and Todoroki’s side, because that’s how it’s split in my brain atm, and allow me to start from the second because it’s easier to get through for me

I’m in love with everything Hori is doing with Todoroki and everyone involved with him - that’s to say his whole whole family and Hawks and Jeanist too, all of it, I’m so into it it’s no joke at all. Always been in love with how he handles Enji’s character and his interactions with his family and the latest developments didn’t disappoint me at all, wasn’t very much into Dabi right after the “reveal” but the more I think about it and about the story from his pov the more behind it I am, forever and always head over heels for Shouto’s way of dealing with a situation that’s as complex as one would expect from a protagonist of their very own story you could really make a manga out of the Todoroki’s family plot from Shouto’s pov alone, it’s incredible I can’t state how in love with it all I am enough. And Hawks, don’t make me start on him I’ll straight up never stop, absolutely and most definitely my favorite pro-hero I would trust him with my money and my kids 100/10 just assume I’m constantly crying over him. Also Jeanist is just hilarious so bless him and his presence in an otherwise too heavy story

Deku’s side........ well, the main problems I have with it are that one, I don’t really understant the need to keep ofa a secret from the class for the biggest part of the story when the reveal wasn’t forced upon Deku, didn’t have a huge impact on him or his relationship with the others (his leaving wasn’t directly caused by him coming clean after all, he wouldn’t have had to leave earlier had he not kept it a secret and he would have still left at this point had the class already known all along) and didn’t, like. Matter. All that much. Two, this manga is called my hero academia and I’m genuinely starting to wonder why. What was the point of all the arcs set inside the school anyway? Most of the characters growth (Deku’s especially) and the progression of the main plot happened in the arcs outside of the school anyway, and at this point it’s clear we’re not going back to the school after this or even seeing anyone graduate. What of Shinsou? What was the point of his plot when we’re not even gonna see him being active part of the class in a school environment? I’m just confused about it all, I guess. Three, which is really my biggest problem with it all, is the way Deku’s set on saving Shigaraki. It’s not like I don’t like a story in which all the villains are saved and the good guys win and love prevails and all that, call it corny but they’re exactly my type of stories, but I’m not sure I can get behind it when Twice died like that, and Midnight did as well, and Aizawa lost a leg, and Nighteye died, and Hawks might have lost his wings, and Shirakumo ended up Kurogiri and it’s still unclear whether he can be saved, like... why does Shigaraki get to be saved when so many people suffered like that? And it’s not only about them suffering by his hands, it’s about Hori and how he was ruthless with so many characters but lets the story show arbitrary kindness to Shigaraki alone, it’s all... well. Unfair. The way I see it. At this point I at the very least expect kindness for Touya as well, here.

That said if I pick the chapters one by one by themselves I do enjoy them very much. I just don’t gotta think about the big picture lmao AH but it’s all a personal opinion, of course! I know people who enjoy the way the story is going and I can see where they’re coming from, this is all arbitrary tastes and preferences on my part, I’m aware of it!

THANK YOU happy to hear you liked jjk!!!! And that’s!!! a great question, I’m not sure I have an answer actually? I binged the manga in a day and a half, you see, and when I binge stuff that fast I rarely stop to overthink things - I did ship them as I read too since, well. They’re in love lmao but I shipped them in the same way I shipped itafushi or yuutoge after I read the prequel, you know? Just a general aknowledging of how good they were together. The main point with satosugu specifically was probably that satoru has been my favorite character since the beginning of the story and suguru got there as well as soon as I read their backstory, so once I was caught up they’re the ones I ended up spending the most time thinking about, both by themselves and together, and that ended up making me a bit obsessed..... just a bit lol

If I had to give one specific moment that got me by the heart and squeezed the hardest it’d be... probably Satoru’s “my soul knows otherwise”. And the way his voice alone could bring Suguru back, even for just a single moment. The thing about satosugu for me!!! one of the many things about them, but the main thing for me, is that they love each other. Be it platonic or however you wanna see it, they love each other. Despite everything and after it all, even if Satoru had to kill Suguru, even if Suguru killed so many and betrayed Satoru and they went their separate ways in the harshest of ways, they love each other. It’s insane, isn’t it? That they’d love each other so much they could pass over everything and anything. I’ve seen the “best friends become enemies” trope so often in shounen manga, but this is the first time I see it treated like this - with love so strong that they never blamed each other or turned that love in hate. The way satosugu do it is all-encompassing! It goes beyond the world and their differences and death itself! So if I had to pick it’d be that one, because that scene happens after it’s all over, and it all went to shit and way beyond too already, and still their souls resonate with each other and answer to each other and that sends me insane, just thinking about it. Like, god, they really still love each other. Satoru’s mourned for Suguru for a year, Suguru’s been dead for a year, they’d been separated ten whole years before then, and still! And still!!! It’s so tender I don’t know how to deal with it

When Hawks goes on a LOA from Hero Work due to a recent injury the Hero Commission decides to bring Y/N in as their new informant. Hawks sets up a meet n greet with his contact from the LoV, Dabi. What Y/N isn’t expecting is to come face to face with her assumed dead childhood best friend Touya Todoroki. Not realizing who she is due to a name change Y/N has to try and keep her identity hidden from the villain while trying to suppress old feelings that have begun to resurface.

My Hero Academia Chapter 345 - Division

Okay let's reaaaaad !

Toga is panicking, probably because she fears not being able to face Deku.

It seems the PLF commanders will be with their lieutenant (I don't remember the exact terminology)

Okay so I was going to say it didn't last enough for Dabi but apparently it did suffice

I love this panel, Monoma's expressions are top tier all the time.

I couldn't quite make out who te anticapitalist was but I'm sure we'll see him again

Okay I was very happy and all, everything was going fine and I didn't expect this kind of unexpected situation. Mainly because they were probably both heading for AFO, which means Deku won't be here for a few minutes at least or not at all and the mix between Bakugou's being worried about Deku and me beginning to fear something bad will befall Bakugou just raised my anxiety tenfold !

Also I guess, Toga is te one dragging Deku away so we might have a Uraraka and Deku tag team coming

So Monoma is regrouping with Aizawa probably to reset his quirks, I bet Warpgate and Erasure are an insane quirk combo.

Fatgum and Aoyama are going to capture whoever Monoma failed to capture which is a wise decision

Okay so I was trying to see who was fighting AFO

First of all I think there is also Skeptic here and of course two high-ends Noumus

And in front of that we have Hawks who is fast as fuck already behind AFO, Endeavour who isn't facing Touya for some reason, Te lion hero, Kamui Woods, Tokoyami, Mandalay and Tora

So Bakugou and Midoriya were probably supposed to face Sigaraki which is not a huge surprise but still nice to know. I don't know who else would be fighting with them because that will probably be a shitshow

Okay fuck Dabi is hot and I'm not supposed to be simping for this crazy murderer.

One high end Noumu, Iida and Burning can take him. Please don't kill another lady hero though I'd like to see her kick ass

Nice, maybe we will finally know what is up with Toga and her ability to hide beyond even some quirks power. I mean, Deku isn't such a bad idea considering there is two high ends Noumus here and Uraraka, Tsuyu and Gang Orca

I vibed with shigadabi since the beginning until rereading the Manga and reading the fanfics made me simp for the ship. Like I don't know but maybe it's just my shipper Brian but

[SPOILER ALERT]

After the battle with the Liberation army, Dabi was still like :"You're STILL not allowed to see the Leader." To Hawks (correct me if I am wrong). That part gave me happy tinglies in my belly. It makes me think of a head cannon where Dabi makes it HIS duty that Hawks isn't at least 10ft. Away from Shigaraki. Or, if it can't be helped (like he gets sent out for missions or debriefing some people under him) , he makes sure that atleast 2 members of the League stays outside Shigaraki's doors and makes them SWEAR that Hawks will have no chance to even breathe the same air as their leader.

I dunno man. Protective (Possessive?) Dabi makes me happy 😁

Anon, why giving us Dabi protecting Tomura, not the whole league, but Tomura, his boss? Why doing that if Dabi doesn't care about him? Why giving us Tomura giving a nomu to Dabi, again not the League, just Dabi?

And I'm just??? DabiHawks is cute an all, but I can't see Dabi trusting Hawks like he trusts Tomura. We have seen those two being protective of of the other and that's canon. I'm not inventing anything, they did that. Tomura gave a personal nōmu to Dabi and Dabi kept away a potential traitor from Tomura.

So they care. That's what the evidence tell us.

Yay they're open now!!! I'd love to see how Dabi (or Hawks, i simp for both) would react to a darling who's on the spectrum for autism. Its not super noticable but they can go from 0 to 100 when discussing things they like, or if they get excited, but if they become scared or stressed they just totally shut down. The biggest thing would be the fact they don't panic if their kidnapped if their treated nice. Like the amount of chill would be unsettling until they pop off with at least your nice.

Alright! First of all I do have to state that I am going to try my HARDEST to get everything right here. I personally am not on the spectrum, so I do not know what it's truly like. However based on what you described I feel like I can do it well enough? I'm gonna give you both Dabi and Hawks cause you are one of Dabi's Hoes with me and I love and respect you kid. Enjoy!

He didn't really react to it. He just nodded and hugged you tightly.

His abnormal warmth was just what you needed to not be so stressed.

That night the two of you stayed in the room and just cuddled watching movies and talking about random things.

Now that he knows he can take care of you better.

He won't say it, but he's so grateful you shared that with him.

That you trusted him enough.

He also has become much more protective of you.

The day you got kidnapped was the day he was ready to murder.

He had sent his entire agency to find you.

You are his baby bird kid.

He had gotten a call from an unknown number as he flew around the city for any signs.

"Hi Hawks! I'm okay! These people are kinda nice!"

Hawks nearly fell out of the sky.

"Y/N DON'T SAY THAT THEY KIDNAPPED YOU!"

"But they did it nicely!"

"THAT DOESN'T MATTER!"

When he finally got you back he had no clue how to explain to you that if someone kidnaps you... That you shouldn't be okay with it.

You only shrugged it off and repeated that they were nice.

He sighed and smiled at you. He looked tired.

"Baby Bird I am not sure how to handle you and your quirkiness sometimes. It's unlike any other kid."

You only shrugged.

"I mean 80% of the population has a quirk."

He started to laugh a bit as you said that.

That night he had asked if you had always been like this.

You told him you were pretty sure, but you also told him why.

He smiled at you and held you close to him.

"That's completely fine baby bird. Just makes you even more interesting kid."

*happy noises*

From then on he knew to always have someone keep an eye on you.

Can have you willingly just hang out with Villans.

He now understands why you get so amped up about things you love.

He is so happy to still be learning new things about you every day.

If anyone makes fun of you for it... They better drop off the grid and live in the middle of nowhere

All in all this chicken wing loves you and doesn't care as long as you are you and nothing else.
