“YOU’RE WHAT??!!!???” Everybody shouted.

“...Pregnant,” Lulu whispered.

Lulu and Collin had gotten into a chat call with everybody in the family: Precious coming home early while Vio, Athena, and Kane were on video chat.

Vio was stunned. Athena on the other hand was ecstatic.

“MY GRANDBABY IS HAVING HER OWN BABY!!!” Athena squealed.

“Oh cod, I’m too young to be a grandmother yet,” Precious joked.

“My cod! My sister is having a kid,” Kane groaned in sarcasm.

“Baby!!!! Can it Kane,” Pashmina clapped, “How long???”

“Probably only a few weeks. But since this happen we have to come out with other news,” Collin remarked.

Now everybody was looking confused.

Pulling the ring out of her pocket, Lulu finally showed her engagement ring to her family.

“I said yes,” Lulu said softly with a smile.

“Oh, that explains so much,” Precious remarked as she shook her head.

“Lulu wanted to wait till you guys got back from your trip to announce it but uh since we got a little one on the way, we couldn’t hide it anymore,” Collin explained.

Vio was still stunned.

“Oh honey, we are coming home,” Athena replied.

“WHAT?!?” Vio questioned, finally snapping back into reality.

“I am not missing the birth of my great grandchild!” Athena huffed.

“We are all the way in Spain!” Vio retored.

“Well, get us some plane tickets tonight you over grown calamri,” Athena huffed, “We are going home!”

Sighing, Vio dropped his head onto the bed and groaned.

“Fine,” he spoke through the blankets.

“Sorry,” Lulu whinned.

“Oh don’t worry about him!!! Oh, I can’t wait!!! New baby in the house,” Athena hummed.

“We are gonna have to push that wedding. That or wait till after the little one is born,” Precious stated.

“After,” Vio remarked, popping his head back up, “It can wait till after. She’s got enough on her plate. A wedding can wait.”

“Luckily we still have the baby stuff from Pashmina. We can make a room somewhere,” Precious sighed.

Still looking nervous, Lulu was greeted to Collin nuzzling her.

Chuckling and sitting in the back, Lutarna seemed happy for them.

“If you need things to stay quite for a bit, we can do check ups at the metro,” Lutarna spoke.

“That might be a good idea. Don’t need the press on this,” Vio sighed.

Nodding, Lutarna smiled.

i never understood ppl claiming percy has never suffered the consequences of his loyalty. you're talking about percy "i know the prophecy said my friend would betray me but these are my friends they wouldn't betray me" jackson, who walked into a remote part of the forest with luke and almost died in book one. you're talking about percy "kronos told me point-blank there was a traitor but i can't imagine any of these ppl betraying me" jackson, who decided to stop looking for the traitor and moved on. you're talking about percy "nico is acting suspicious and very clearly hiding something from me but he's my friend and i trust him" jackson, who walked into nico's very obvious set up and almost got himself held hostage during the titan war. percy is so loyal that he cannot fathom betrayal until it's happening, and it has nearly killed him multiple times.

#i think ppl focus on what athena said #'you would destroy the world to save a friend' #but that's not fatal for percy! that's what makes percy dangerous *to the gods* #loyalty is a fatal flaw *for percy* bc he can be told point blank that his friend will betray him and still not be able to comprehend it! #i don't know that percy ever voiced his inability to consider betrayal to anyone (in the books i'm pretty sure it's internal dialogue) #so all anyone else sees is the danger he poses to *them* and *their plans* #percy jackson #percy jackon and the olympians #pjo hoo toa #pjo books #fatal flaws #percy #min talks pjo

I'm probably a bit too tired. Just watched someone talk about scented candles in a video and patchouli came up and I wondered what that smelled like again and almost went and looked it up to find out the scent before I realised that it doesn't work like that

By that I mean that for a small moment in time I fully expected that idk, my laptop would somehow start emanating the scent of patchouli if I googled it

I think I need to go to sleep now.
