(just to be clear to everyone reading, the arm wrestling takes place in Boating if you've invited Baxter, chosen to decide turn order with an arm wrestling contest, and managed to beat Cove first)

Yes, you can beat Baxter! You just have to have played Hang first (it has to be Cove's version, not Baxter's). Trying to distract him is also a futile effort, so you have to beat him seriously by selecting "You kept your full focus on getting his hand down."

If you've played Hang first and chose for your MC to have "noticeable muscles" or "a little muscle definition," then you win (I know that you can select these options in Baxter's version, but it won't work unfortunately). The game does keep track of the MC's "athletic points" in Step 3 for things like giving Cove a piggyback ride in Errands, but they don't factor in when arm wrestling Baxter for whatever reason.

It's sports, it's cruel sometimes! It's what's also makes it so beautiful.

Yata's probably really good at this, I feel like he'd be skilled at this sort of game (and I think it was mentioned somewhere that he's good at games which require you to move your body). Yata's athletic and has good reflexes so I imagine even though he's not good at like memorizing steps he's great at picking things up on the fly. Imagine him playing the game with some of the other Homra guys, like it's a song for four players and it's him along with Bandou who isn't as flexible but is good with games and picks things up fast, Akagi who's also fast on his feet and unexpectedly a surprisingly swift Kamamoto, all doing the dance together in pretty good time. Totsuka would probably enjoy playing too but they all learn quickly to be careful with him, somehow I imagine Totsuka occasionally 'messing up' in ways that almost cause everyone to end up in a pile on the floor. No one can really get mad at him because he just laughs it off and apologizes, saying he missed his footing, and anyway it just makes things more challenging.

Anna would probably want to play too after watching everyone with wide eyes, the guys are all very careful with her and try to pick songs that aren't too hard. Imagine her shyly asking Yata if she can do one of the songs with him but then she messes up and she's upset, Yata though tells her not to worry and yells at the other guys for going too fast, like you guys messed up Anna. Anna asks to try again and no one even minds that they have to play the same song multiple times, it's worth it for the way Anna smiles when she finally finishes a song perfectly. Then Yata asks her what song she wants to do next and she picks one before going over to Mikoto and tugging on his hand. Mikoto's been napping through the whole thing and he's all 'eh?', Anna gives him this unblinking stare as she holds his hand and points to the game. Totsuka scrambles for his camera, grinning as he's like come on King it's your turn. Yata gets all red and nervous, super excited that Mikoto-san is going to dance with them and I bet he's so distracted he messes up on the first step (and then blames Kamamoto instead, who's like 'Yata-san you were the one who missed weren't you'). Mikoto though isn't exactly swift on his feet, at least not for this sort of thing, imagine him moving all stiffly and Anna has to tell him how to do it properly, demonstrating each step for him while Totsuka laughs and films the whole thing.

let's get something out of the way first: it's obvious that the main reason behind steve inviting you to the gym was to see how your boobs would look on one of your tight sports bras. this was literally the opportunity of a lifetime since he never saw you getting near hawkins' gym in all those years he had known you. steve being steve, he was extremely smug about everything; going around the gym and greeting everyone like he owned the place, introducing you to some of the personal trainers that worked there (“you won't be needing any of them, babe. you got your very own right here!”, he'd point at himself) and showing you every one of the machines. steve was convinced that you've never even seen a gym weight in all your life, so he was more than happy to show them to you by holding the heaviest ones with the biggest shit-eating grin on his face. of course, he was doing that to show off, but you weren't mad about it; i mean, how could you when his muscles were flexing just perfectly? yeah, steve may be a conceited bastard sometimes, but he was a stunningly hot one at that.
