Two Way Mirror

Taniks was only resurrected as a power play on Eramis's behalf. But with a failing body and many issues weighing on his mind after missing out on the last several years, he wants to brood and come to terms with life passing him by.

Unfortunately, Atraks is very, very determined to make a new friend. To the point that Taniks isn't certain of her intentions at all, and she ends up falling at almost every hurdle on the way to proving her innocence.

Set after Chapter 9 of The Ouroboros Cycle, but can he read without knowing the context. Taniks does enough brooding to catch you roughly up to speed.

I've wanted to do something with these two for years. Finally, they have been flung around in my mental washing machine enough to produce this work. This one has it all. Taniks being an asshole. Gay alien divorce in the middle of a sort of failed polycule. Atraks being her awkward, too blunt self. The Stake House returning.

It's a good one.
