Ayaki is in a very awkward social position, having been born right in the aftermath of the Fourth Shinobi War and before solid peacetime relations had been established between the Hidden Cloud and the Hidden Leaf (and more importantly, the Hyuga.) His life is carried out by an agreement set up before he was born, and his day to day life is dictated by the three parties’ tugging on that document.

While his influential and powerful family have given him a comfortable life with privileges not afforded to those without, he would absolutely trade it for something else. At least for a little while. But it’s all tied so directly to him, he isn’t sure what that something else could be. ;^^
