قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ آمَنتُم بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَّكَرْتُمُوهُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ (123) لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَافٍ ثُمَّ لَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ (124) قَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ (125) وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ (126)

وَمَا تَنْقِمُ مِنَّا أي: وما تعيب منا على إنكارك علينا وتوعدك لنا؟ فليس لنا ذنب إِلا أَنْ آمَنَّا بـ [ آيَاتِ ] ربنا [ لما جاءتنا ]

 فإن كان هذا ذنبا يعاب عليه، ويستحق صاحبه العقوبة، فهو ذنبنا. ثم دعوا اللّه أن يثبتهم ويصبرهم فقالوا: رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ أي: أفض عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا أي: عظيما، كما يدل عليه التنكير، لأن هذه محنة عظيمة، تؤدي إلى ذهاب النفس، فيحتاج فيها من الصبر إلى شيء كثير، ليثبت الفؤاد، ويطمئن المؤمن على إيمانه، ويزول عنه الانزعاج الكثير. وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ أي: منقادين لأمرك، متبعين لرسولك، والظاهر أنه أوقع بهم ما توعدهم عليه، وأن اللّه تعالى ثبتهم على الإيمان.هذا وفرعون وملؤه وعامتهم المتبعون للملأ قد استكبروا عن آيات اللّه، وجحدوا بها ظلما وعلوا،

so since im rewatching i figured i would make a list of things i love about this show in no particular order:

-lockjaw teleporting bb in the middle of a road and the two of them just kinda look around confused until a crash happens.

-bb acting like he has absolutely no idea what cars are, but when medusa calls him and he holds up his watch, she immediately recognizes the sound of traffic.

-gorgon calling the rover a little baby car.

-gorgon going to the beach, calling triton's name like twice, and then just walking into the ocean. where he immediantly starts drowning because he cant swim.

-the surfer guys who save gorgon hear gorgon say he's looking for his cousin who fell off a cliff after getting shot at, but now he needs to return to the moon from the mission his king sent him on, and completely earnestly believe him and are instantly willing to die for him.

-maximus asking crystal where their family is. crystal does not answer. he moves her to her apartment, then to the throne room. crystal asks maximus where their family is. maximus, obviously, does not answer.

-i think the writers just really dont know how karnak's powers work. why does he have like a yellow mind compass. what is happening.

-eldrac teleporting auran into a rock fence and smiling to himself about it.

-bb being on earth for like ten minutes and in that time causea a car crash, shoplifts, assaults like two people, and causes thousands of dollars worth of property damage.

- "do you know what kitang's last words were? they were a sort of guttural, gurgling noise. not exactly words."

-maximus asking bb if he was going to "kill your only brother" as if bb killing maximus would be totally acceptable and conceivable as a plan if they just had another brother.

-that flashback that makes it seem like bb was planning to die in battle to allow maximus to be king instead. like that was just the only option he could come up with.

-medusa asking an atm if she could please have some money

Tribble Month 2023 Day 14: Air or Land

Their whistles found more purchase here, among the trailing spires like dragon spines, bounding from rock to rock.  Where once, such melodies preferred to serve amusement over purpose, now they grew practical, with dances that could flow through this new, unfamiliar narrowness, and from mouths more and more like beaks.  And mouths were not all to shift.  Among the towering trees and great pillars of earth, their limbs reached out with grasping talons.  On the sparser air and weaker wind currents, new wings fledged to keep them aloft, while their lungs filled their chests to treasure it.  With greater lungs, then, came greater sounds, greater vibration, and more sensitive ears to match.  Out calls a litany of unique combinations!  An onslaught of fresh harmonies!  A flood!  A true deluge of voices and places and manners, to entangle with to their ever-beating hearts’ content!

It was no wonder, then, that many generations down, those who traveled back to their heritage of endless open space could make no sense of the wind’s song at all.

Was Auran startled halfway through evolution?

Tremor: "Her evolution wasn't a sudden thing, more of a gradual change. I will say though, she was more so confused growing up, wondering why she didn't look like her other kin. As a young riolu she looked similar to others like her, but as she grew up her more unique traits started to show up. Such as her tail, or her peculiar fur patterns."

"Its clear she has something else in her beside Lucario. Something fox-like. Weve never taken the time to pinpoint exactly what pokemon though. We were always so busy training or studying."
