It is has not been uncommon to hear that our beloved idol Y/N has been attending the F1 Grand Prix's when she can. She has been open about her interest and love for the sport that had started since she was young and living in Australia, much thanks to her mother. For the past months, she has attended the Australia, Monaco and Barcelona Grand Prix. At the Monaco GP, her closest friends and group members of BLACKPINK Jennie and Lisa attended with her, Jisoo was unable to join them due to the flu. Her go-to team is Mclaren as she is often seen in their garage and actively chatting with driver Lando Norris.

Into this newfound friendship...or possibly more? The driver Lando Norris has been leaving friendly comments since her first attendance in awhile at the Australian GP but he has grown more confident and so has she. Just recently for the Barcelona GP, Y/N and Lando Norris were spotted hanging out outside the tracks with a small group of friends as seen in PHOTO TWO. The lucky fans that spotted and snapped a picture has commented that, "they both looked very friendly with each other [...] Lando kept looking at her with heart eyes almost [...] both of them left together while the others stayed".

These new speculations on their "friendship" had only gotten much more active after Lando Norris posted to his alternative instagram account based on his interest of photography and PHOTO THREE was posted in the photo dump of his race weekend in Barcelona. Fans of both Y/N's and F1 pointed out the hair and the similar hand and jacket in the photo--our dear Y/N. There are also speculations that this was NOT the same day as the hangout of friends, rather a different day...and perhaps a different kind of date 😉

Let's not forget the suspicious comments her closest friend Jennie has left on her instagram especially after the comment from Mclaren, "You have amazing taste"...to which Ms Jennie Kim replied in korean, "It goes both ways 😗". Fans believe Jennie might been insinuating that a certain driver (Norris) and Y/N have good taste...or should we say, interest within each other?

Though, so far, not much has been found if this is a beginning of the soft launch of their relationship or simply a flirtatious and playful friendship between the very two different yet similar people. Let's just look forward to Y/N's upcoming project and for the F1 fans, enjoy the week break!

that 'humans are space orcs'/'earth is space australia' thing really aggravates me.

In one part b/c of the aftertaste of whiteness the folks writing it tend to have (where the majority of what they put as 'universal' human culture is straight-up white shit a lot of the time) Especially the all humans are the same shit just, no. Very no. Like, there's implications if humans do only have one culture/language/etc in yer setting b/c it implies someone did some genociding and forced assimilation.

And the other part being that I have a Biology degree and like?

Austrailia isn't actually that extreme or that different from anywhere else on Earth. Humans are litterally not unique even on this planet, we're just the only homos left (for now, we won't exist forever. the lifespan of species, especially mammals isn't terribly long comparitively speaking). Humans aren't the only species on this planet that uses fire, or washes food, or wears things, or uses tools to hunt, or even the only things to throw spears, or drasticlly change the envornment to suit our needs, or do agriculture.

-> Convergent evolution is a thing. More likely than not alien visitors would probably have run into something similar to us at some point.

-> Anywhere where life exists, life competes and fills niches. Any alien world would very likely be just as much a 'death world' b/c predator/prey/parasite/disease interactions tend to make shit weird and dangerous.

(side note: All worlds are fucking death worlds, just in general. If a planet has life shit dies, if a planet doesnt have life then introduced life will die without protections b/c its native conditions arent fucking compatible with life)

Another part is the inherant lazy writing these people do for their aliens.

And also I just don't care for Human Exceptionalism. Just in general. especially when fuckers who think that Human Unexceptionalism has been a trend when they're talking about shit that uses the Human as Normal/the EVeryman trope and ??? that's still fucking human exceptionalism to make humans the baseline and every other species the weird/different ones

Question: what’s your source on the phytoestrogens? Bc the only times I’ve ever heard that claim, they all source back to this one study on sheep in like the 40s, which… well it’s not very well supported

(Although maybe you don’t care about that, which would be fair. These are fictional cats after all not clinical studies)

You're probably coming from Hbomberguy when he was specifically addressing lunkhead chuds, who pass around the claim that phytoestrogens lower human fertility and sex drive. The "soyboy" claim.

Human studies on the effects of phytoestrogens are pretty lacking overall, but what does exist doesn't back up that claim-- because humans don't graze on red clover in west australia like a sheep. What that means is that it doesn't impact human fertility the way a terrified conservative brain stem thinks it does.

(ESPECIALLY not in a plate of soybeans, which has significantly lower levels of phytoestrogen than red clover.)

But what it DOES do is bind to the estrogen receptors in your body (and acts as a really good antioxidant but that's neither here nor there) which can mean it can act AS estrogen... or as an antagonist.

If you want to know more (especially if you have a background in chemistry, this source talks a lot about the structural similarities between estrogen and phytoestrogen and the mechanism of action) then go dive into PHYTOESTROGENS IN FUNCTIONAL FOOD by Fatih Yildiz, which collects together many of the studies that we do have on the matter and omits controversial ones.

(Plus it's an easy read for such a science-heavy publication imo)

Though I have to stress that my HRT guide is, y'know, fake cats! Nothing in nature replaces modern medicine***, but I wanted to make a good resource for WC fans with trans cats who wanted a little bit of scientific accuracy, wanted to cut herbs that cast Liver Failure 1000 on felines, and could reasonably be found in a temperate environment

I'm pretty sure I at least threw in a Bri'ish dialect somwhere in there... anyways, the dialect things are just a lighthearted joke. If it really bothers too many people I can replace it, though. The reason I don't do it for other dialects is simply that I didn't get a lot of regional slang.

Also yes it is a word, I've had multiple people provide confirmation it exists and has inspired the name of a car insurance company apparently. Just because its not used in your part of Australia, doesnt mean its not Australian!

Totally different universe !!

Kiss is like modern day normal world stuff (Altho girl a+b are also technically in their world so ig theres the murders. but besides that). She also doesnt have an actual plot or anything she mosts exists for me to put her in cute outfits and make silly headcanons abt. Or I guess canon facts. Since I made her. But she does have some lore!! Mom was a fashion designer, she has a pro gamer boyfriend, etc etc

Oh!! But kinda as a joke Kiss (Or maybe a descendent of her?) does exist as a celebrity in pastex

Ishawuu and Yoki are in an entirely different world. Though theoretically it could be the same since pastex is just set in the future. Anyway, they're in a story called Pastex (Short for "Past Expiration". But I never call it that bcs im lazy) set ~500 years from now, and about 350-400 years after war that caused a nuclear winter across the world, and destroyed most habitable land. Around 80-90% of the population also died either from the initial bombs, the wildfires, or the winter. The world remains covered in ice and snow, and the sky is still black with soot. Two main areas were habitable post-bombing due to temperature, available food, etc. They're around Chile/Argentina and Australia. All the characters i've talked abt are in the Argentina/Western settlement.

Yoki and Ishawuu are functionally immortal due to an implant that they (+ some others) got pre-war, developed by Koro, a powerful group that now (in pastex) serves as the government in the western settlements. At the start of the story, they're both working as social guards (Basically high ranking police) for Koro.

You may also see me talking abt Day, Ico, and The Grandmaster, who are all characters from pastex too! The Grandmaster is the currently leader of Koro, who Ishawuu and Yoki work under. His family has been leading Koro since it was still a tiny agency!!

Day is a character from a small village unincorporated into Koro until he was about 10/11 when it essentially bought them and their lives. So he hates Koro. lol. Ico was Day's younger brother who died about 10 years before the story.

I feel like a lot of Americans think that because they don't say the pledge of allegiance that must mean they've retained none of the America-superiority complex but honestly the amount of times I've seen you people talking about how America is sooo BIG and powerful and everywhere else is MINISCULE and insignificant and forgetting any culture other than your own and seeing EVERY single accent other than American as STUPID and SILLY and inherently not worth listening to and being shocked that some people don't know everything about YOUR history and CORRECTING other people when they use terms that don't apply to YOU and making fun of literally any practice or way of doing things that AMERICA doesn’t do and assuming every single person you talk to is American because how could they be from anywhere except MY COUNTRY.

Just because you say you hate it doesn't mean you don't still believe its the most important country that everything revolves around. You think its bad in the obvious bad things about it but in literally everything else you STILL think you're the best. Tanza lore drop hell yea

Tanza is the name of my main headworld, it's a fantasy/sci-fi mix with two main races of people the Drakin and the Humans, aside from them there are also the Spirits and Demons, not necesssaily supernatural beings since their existence is very real, with demons often attacking mortal settlements, and while spirits are unable to interact directly to the realm due to limitations, they have granted mortals the skills needed to defend themselves. The main magical energy source is called Neautra and it works like Mana/Aether in classic rpgs, its the source of life/essence of the soul/magic what gives.

Main Locations

Tanza only has two main continents, a large land mass that irl would be equivalent to the whole of Eurasia + few small islands, called Yiver and a smaller one equivalent to Australia that known as Draki.

In Yiver is located the Iseriath Empire, the most powerful nation, it controls the entirety of Yiver, due to its enourmous size, its divided in many sub-divisions that are semi-autonomous. The capital Izeriath City is located at the very center of the Empire. It has been ruled by the Izeriath Imperial Family since its founding 10000 years ago, the current ruler being Emperor Eidon XI. The majority of the empire population are Humans. People from the Empire are called Izerianthi.

Draki unlike Yiver doesnt have one government, instead its filled with many Drakin clans all competing for control. In their past the Arigon clan has managed to consolidate the continent into one unified kingdom but it did not lasted for long. Some clans have closer relationships with the Empire than others. Drakins are the main workforce behind the Demon Hunters, with the metal needed to produce the special weaponry and armor for killing demons being found only in Draki.

Demons and Spirits

Demons and Spirits shape the course of history in Tanza. With the creations of Demons by the God Akila altering the very fabric of the universe. Demons unlike spirits are not bound to their realm of origin, and can transverse between planes with no consequences. They are creatures of pure Neautra but do not posess cores to stabilize it and thus must always consume more to maintain their form, hence their destructive nature. While Spirits are also beings of pure neautra, they have a solid core that stabilizes them and works basicly producing and recycling its own energy constantly forever. Spirits are meant to be guardians of the mortal realm, against what not even they themselves remeber. Whatever enemy they were supposed to protect the mortals against is no longuer a treat, and so Spirits have become...unruly, trying to interact with the mortal realm, often causing as much trouble as demons.

The Gods

This Tanza is not the first of its iteration, The Archivist recalls infinite worlds before this one, an ancient experiment created by the first gods, with the objective of creating the Perfect World, but gods are finite in their lifespan as well, and the experiment must go on. So after each iteration of the Tanza experiment, the most powerful, benevolent souls of this era are tested and three of them will be chosen as the next gods to continue until one world succeds.

Akila, Daimos and Shadlan are the three gods of this current world.

Akila: The eldest, Mother of Demons, The Spider, Being of Fire. Somehow she became a god, maybe in her previous life as a mortal she was indeed a good person but that is long gone. Controling, cruel and egotistical are some of the kinder words used to describe the Mother of Demons. Bound to the demon realm, had her core semi-broken and greatly weakened.

Daimos: The middle one, Traitor, Being of Water, also known as Ryu. When Akila created the first demon, it was with the help of Daimos. He believed that her plan would work and they would come out victorious and change the fabric of the universe. The plan obviously failed, but Shadlan is a benevolent god, and thus spared her sibling. Instead binding his godly form away and ordering him to walk the world as a mortal, and atone for his crimes by helping the people he doomed, once he understood the value of the world he could ascend again. This in turn turned him into a Doomer, he thinks himself way too far gone for any form of redemption and has not bothered to do any major breaktrought in his character development for the past millenia or so.

Shadlan: The Younguest, Patron of the Arcane, Being of Wind, also known as Aria. One god was never meant to rule alone. Shadlan tried to bear the immense burden alone but in the end even she broke and sought to avoid it. She had an immense love for the mortal realm, having died quite young in her previous life, she sought to learn, to see, to experience everything the mortal realm could offer, and so often took undercover trips, breaking the rules she so often tried to enforce, this would end up being her doom, as in one of these visits, while pretending to be a nun, she met a young priest named Rune and fell in love. The two had a pair of twins named Imay and Hiraki, and for a few years Shadlan managed to keep up this double life, but somehow, she was found out and then killed...by a mortal.
