☥ SOLIDARITY SOUNDWAVES ☥
I have recently worked with 4000 Records on a compilation album as a means of raising funds to support those surviving the genocide in Gaza. This compilation includes a broad spectrum of genres, including ambient, glitch and drum 'n' bass from various artists from Meanjin/Brisbane. I have passionately contributed to this project with my experimental witch house track "MOTHMAN". I feel honored to be part of this collaboration and I truly hope that it will help Palestinians in need.
Stream and/or purchase through the link above! Digital and physical copies are available! All funds generated from your support will go to the charity organisation Medical Aid for Palestinians!

I’m love with @spitblossoms amazing, authentic, and the REAL artistic spirit behind the work. When I say “real” I mean many things. The most beautiful part and my best “real” detail is the gorgeous, beautiful, real, and accurate depiction of what a “real woman” looks like. These woman aren’t skin and bone, starving, or unhealthy. Yet, quite the contrary. They are the shape and have the authentic movements a “real woman” would have and how she’d look. Thank you for helping to make these girls growing up know how a woman is supposed to look and feel.

Hey friendos!! So, it hasn't actually reached the level of controversy, as I see it, but I feel like there is something about my artwork, specifically my Magical Realism paintings (such as my recent Buster Keaton works), that I need to address.
My paintings are NOT created with any kind of AI, and they are NOT edits. They are hand-painted by me. I use a USB drawing tablet, and each painting takes a minimum of six weeks to complete.
I've been developing this style of painting over the last six years, and am still learning, still practicing, and still refining my techniques, but they are absolutely the real deal, and when you purchase the images on products from my RB shop, you are supporting hard work that took multiple hours, and weeks to complete.
As a life-long, multi-format artist, AI is a massive problem in the art world that will only get worse. I rely on sales of my works, which are regularly stolen and reposted, or used as training models for various AI programs, all taking money out of my pocket. In a perfect world, I could make what I wanted, when I wanted, without having to think about a bottom line, but as of now, that is not my reality. I urge anyone with questions to reach out, and if you are looking to make purchases from myself, or any other artist, do make sure they're coming from the artist themselves, and not counterfeited, and look to an artist's work and reputation to make sure you're getting the genuine article, and not paying for something generated from putting key-words into a website.
I'll leave you with this animation example of how my painting of Glinda The Good Witch from The Wizard of Oz came together as some insight into my process:
