I thank you for thinking so highly of what I do in fandom, but I absolutely cannot claim to be keeping our good ship afloat. I do what I can here on Tumblr, especially when I feel badly about not writing, but Anise updates the FIA Facebook page, and she and ladycyradis stay on top of the FIA submission queue, and authors like Ludi and Anayashe update their stories frequently, and there are even more authors actively writing or updating or working on stories while I have been struggling to simply open a document. Not to mention the artists/content creators like @realginnysue and @tinyq and @fearlessuntamed who keep the drinny tag relevant here on Tumblr, and also everyone who reads and reviews and reblogs and replies and sends asks. There are so many people besides me who make this ship what it is and make sure it doesn’t sink into obscurity. Way way more people than I named here, though I certainly could make a list because I’ve seen the posts and the likes and the reblogs and I recognize your usernames.

I love this ship so much. This community has meant a lot to me over the last 14.5 years. But one person can’t keep it going. I could keep my Tumblr active and update a single story once a year, but without readers and reviewers and artists I’d be shouting into a void. It’s been a group effort all along, and we all deserve credit for the parts that we play, small or large, inconspicuous or visible.
