sorry to bother you but what does "experiencing time spirally" mean?
All good! I'm assuming this is in reference to my Autistic Batman post.
I saw the idea of Spiral Time from Marta Rose when they talked about it on instagram (@divergent_design_studios). Specifically they were talking about how we spiral back round to projects and we shouldn't feel shame for giving them up etc.
But my meaning in this case, or what I was getting at was slightly different. For me personally I find that I can struggle to experience time in a linear, understandable fashion: I struggle to separate different days unless I have clear "landmarks" like events etc. I relate this to my autism. I was thinking that Bruce would want to keep a diary so he could keep straight all the things I have struggle with: what happened when, what is relevant from that day, how long ago he encountered someone etc.
So I guess I sorta meant experience time in a... mushy, malleable sort of way? I'm not really sure haha, I just jotted down lots of thoughts after I saw the movie!

ADHD/Autism/AuDHD Sense of Direction Poll
context: my sense of direction is very poor. I'm AuDHD. I'm curious as to whether my poor sense of direction is due to some aspect of this identifier, or if it's an entirely separate thing.
"Fine" and "Poor" may be as subjective as you like. as a general guide, you may think of a "fine" sense of direction as being able to perform what you'd consider to be all everyday navigation (eg. walking around your own neighborhood, retracing your route back home, commuting to work/school) consistently and without GPS/map/buddy assistance. a "poor" sense of direction may mean that you need assistance with at least some types of everyday navigation the majority of the time.

btw I think Leon takes care of his body but only accidentally.
like he only ever does stuff he likes to do and he just happens to like playing baseball (even if claims he doesn’t) and, consequently, being active.
he only eats stuff he likes but they mostly happen to be foods that are high in nutrients or have some sort of innate health benefit to the human body. he doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, but might have something occasionally if someone offers it to him or he gets a weirdly intense craving for it.
but he definitely isn’t, like…….”I am treating my body like a temple” or anything like that. he can only cook instant ramen and if his friends didn’t actively force him to go grocery shopping he would probably just eat that for every meal OR go get fast food from somewhere because it’s so much easier and he hates doing shit.

Does anyone else ever unmask in private, then guilt themselves for, according to your brain, being "too extreme" with how you act when you're alone? Basically getting imposter syndrome for something you're already professionally diagnosed with because you did the thing that the professional said would help you feel less stressed?

me: man those sensory gyms for neurodiverse kids look so fun but shouldn't go to them as a neurotypical person.
me, later, finding out I'm autistic: oh-

Thinking about the overlap in disability stuff today. Autistic skill regression in terms of stress management -> being able to cope less with stressful situations -> migraines occur more frequently
Idk just pondering
