I wanna test a thing-
Before casting the vote read:
- aromatic spectrum and/or asexual spectrum count
-comorbid neurodivergencies can exist, answer is based on whether or not ASD is one of them.
-share for larger range!
-my apologies if I forgot something 🙏

Understanding RAADS-R Test Scores
The RAADS-R test compiles a score indicating the likelihood of autism spectrum disorder in the person taking it. The total RAADS-R test score ranges from 0-240. Higher scores indicate behaviors and symptoms consistent with autism. Scores at or above 65 demonstrate the presence of autism. The test utilizes two different scoring methods: paper-based and automated.
General interpretations of different RAADS-R test scores:
25: Does not meet the criteria for ASD
50: May possess autism traits but not likely to have autism
65: Minimum score to identify autism
90: Strong indication of the autism spectrum, although neurotypical individuals can also yield high scores
130: Typical autism score indicating autism is present
160: Demonstrates solid evidence for an autism diagnosis
227: The maximum score indicating autism
However, it’s essential to remember that no standalone test can provide a conclusive autism diagnosis without a comprehensive evaluation. The RAADS-R test is a tool used during a comprehensive autism assessment, not a definitive or conclusive data point leading to diagnosis.
Source: https://abacentersfl.com/blog/raads-r-test/
My Score on the RAADs-R assessment is 140. It looks like I am likely autistic. I do not know if I want an official diagnosis, knowing me I probably will since I feel like I need the confirmation so I can work on accepting myself. All of my life I have felt like something is wrong with me and it would be good to know why.

Community HeadCannons because I can
Abed
- This is canon but is Autistic
- When overwhelmed or having trouble speaking he’ll use the word “cool” for every answer. Like to mean yes, no, okay, etc. (once again borderline canon.)
- Has dyscalculia
- Had ARFID
- Bisexual and Agender
- Hate watches Supernatural and Greys Anatomy
- Hyper-empathic when it comes to inanimate objects
- Let’s Annie paint his nails
Jeff
- Has narcissistic personality disorder specifically covert narcissism
- Bisexaul
- Has ADHD
- Practices “Winger Speech’s” in the bathroom mirror
- Knows sign language
- Would most definitely listen to Dad Rock
- Views both Abed and Annie as younger siblings (just pretend all the Jeff/Annie stuff never happened. It always seemed weird to me)
- Makes sure he watches every movie Abed references (although he’ll deny that until the day he dies)
- Goes to Pride with Abed, Annie, and Troy (although they have to practically drag him the first time, but now he goes all in)
Troy
- Has ADHD literally no doubt in my mind
- Transmasc
- Gay and on the Asexual Spectrum
- Still believes in The Easter Bunny, The Tooth fairy, etc
- Loves stuffed animals but only has one very raggedy one from his childhood
- Religious Trauma
- Would try to do research on Autism, and Islam to try and understand Abed better but would keep getting distracted and get so frustrated he started crying. Annie would end up reading the stuff to him and helping him understand it.
- Loves the color purple
- Has always wanted a dog and is constantly bringing home strays
- Not really about him but when Troy gets Top Surgery Abed would drive him home and take care of him while he healed
- Listens to cheesy pop music
Annie
- I was going to say Audhd but what if she was misdiagnosed with ADHD as a kid but actually had Autism so that’s where the whole adderal addiction came from.
- Lesbian but with a lot of internalized homophobia
- Has always wanted a pet snake
- Has taken multiple self defense classes
- Is really into true crime
- Celebrates every year of sobriety one way or another (as she gets more comfortable with the group she invites them and they celebrate together)
- Loves heavy metal music and classical music
- Is surprisingly good at art
- Is the one who introduced Abed to Greys Anatomy
- Writes fanfic
Britta
- Transfem
- Exclusively listens to indie music
- Is secretly a Broadway nerd
- I honestly don’t have that much for her
Shirley
- Starts of as homophobic but as she gets to know everyone she starts to question whether her religion is entirely right about that point.
- She becomes a huge ally. Would wear a free mom hugs shirt to pride.
- Is the mom of the study group
- Her purse is pretty much magically whatever you need she has it in there (that includes stim toys, and noise canceling head phones for Abed and the other neurodivergents)
That’s it :))

I recently started to teach Finn how to pull into his harness.
“Why would you ever want to teach a service dog how to pull??”
Well this is a task called forward pull (forward momentum pull, forward momentum, etc). This a a task were a dog pulls into a harness in a controlled manner to assist the handler. It is similar to guide except there is more force being put in harness and the dog isn’t making any kind of directional decisions.
I am personally teaching this task because I have been struggling with extreme fatigue. Last school year it was such a problem that I would get to school and couldn’t walk to any classes because I was so exhausted. So this year I am planning on using this task for him to pull me to class when I am fatigued. As well as maybe using it when I’m dissociated or overwhelmed.

Something that I find... both concerning and utterly exhausting is when I'm communicating with someone, especially about my communication needs or even just chatting about something similar to the topic, and the other person/group does not know how to differentiate or separate Clear/Direct Communications from Meanness.
And I find this common typically in neurotypicals, the older generations, or more commonly allisitics. (And this is not to say that younger generations, other neurodivergents, or autistic aren't affected by this either, this has just been my experience thus far.)
What I mean by this is that in the past when I've told someone who has expressed their frustration to me about severe miscommunications with someone (who I suspect to be possibly autistic), and I've given them the response of "they probably don't catch the social ques or tones. Some people cannot read in between the lines. Have you tried telling them directly?"
9 times out of 10 I am immediately met with "no, I don't wanna be rude/mean/harsh".
And for the longest time my first thought was always, I didn't say that. What I said was tell them what you would like from them or tell them exactly what you mean.
It wasn't until recently that I realized that most of these people conflate being direct and having clear communication with being mean and harsh.
From what I am able to pull to memory, as a child I was always forced to try and "read in between the lines", and because I was literally incapable of doing so, the other person always, always lost patience with me and would snap at me or yell or mistreat me in some way.
And I was thinking on that. How a lot of people will not use clear and direct communication until they've lost patience and be mean about it. And how that doesn't just limit to autistics, but seems to be a thing that might be across the board.
And I find it frustrating that so many people don't know how to be direct without being mean or cannot perceive that one can be done without the other.
And what makes it even more exhausting is when I try to explain this to someone and they start acting as if I don't know what I'm talking about or I'm being overdramatic or trying to generalize everyone or even just act as if I'm plain stupid. (Like they suddenly believe that I'm autistic so I can't understand social situations and in turn I don't know what I'm talking about.)
Idk its just something I've noticed.

Today I had another meltdown at work. A customer got frustrated with me on the phone so I fucking lost it, hung up, then went outside to take a breather.
I do not recommend any job that involves phone calls or a call center type job for Autistics.
I think it’s about time I look into something else, a job with minimal interaction with people.
I’m tired, so fucking tired!
